Brasserie IJzer in Wijk 09 Stadshart

Het eten was redelijk en de deal was prima geprijsd. Beetje jammer dat wanneer een medewerker een volledig glas drinken in je schoot stoot, je alleen een sorry krijgt. Kan gebeuren en ik ben zeker niet boos geworden. Bij het afrekenen hier iets van gezegd waarna er werd gezegd ‘er is toch sorry gezegd’. Een nieuw glas drinken van de zaak o.i.d zou de hele avond met een natte broek zitten dragelijke hebben gemaakt. Voor ons gelijk de laatste keer.

Voorheen was t erg lekker hier. Nu andere kaart? Vorige keer karige tonijn salade. Nu clubsandwich met zacht brood, teveel tomaat, zacht spek en geen eitje of komkommer of sla oid. Helaas geen ijzer meer voor mij. 15 euro voor 3 zachte boterhammen met kaas en ham en heel veel tomaat.

Quality of food is fine. The service is done too much by people without catering experience. In our case the order was forgotten. It can happen, but if you see a table where nothing has happened for 45 minutes, you can intervene yourself instead of waiting for someone to complain. This caused us to have a problem with an appointment that evening. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening out for dinner with the family quickly turned into something to eat.

Na de begroeting was het lastig om hun aandacht te krijgen; ze keken letterlijk over ons heen. Als we iets vroegen en ze ons niet verstonden, kregen we alleen een kort "huh?". Daarnaast werd het bestek op tafel gelegd terwijl het eetgedeelte werd vastgehouden, wat niet erg hygiënisch is. Toen ik vroeg naar ingrediënten die wel op mijn broodje zaten maar niet op de kaart stonden, werd ik niet serieus genomen. Volgens hen was dat namelijk heel normaal!

We have already had a bad experience during dinner. We tried it now for lunch..My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We came with my toddler for lunch, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. Firstly, our order was not taken immediately, and we had to wait a long time before we were helped at all. It was particularly frustrating to see that people who came in after us received their orders much earlier. After waiting 45 minutes I decided to ask where our food was, and suddenly the food arrived. At checkout, items were still charged that were not for us plus no response/explanation to my complaint about the service. All in all not professional and service oriented. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here again and I can't recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner, especially not with hungry kids.

Zit in het winkelcentrum en is heel gezellig ,vriendelijk personeel en eten was heerlijk ,lekker vers brood alswel de rest zeer smakelijk

Very bad service unfortunately. The 5 of us wanted to have a bite to eat here. After the drinks were ordered and served at our table, we never saw anyone to take our food order. We went to eat somewhere else. Missed opportunity.

Nice place for a snack and drink

So what can an "eatery" do from 5 stars to 2 in a short time? Actually our regular place, but after the last few months it's over. Everything has gone downhill since their new policy. Now that even the staff does not have the motivation, it is really alarm phase 1 for the "new" owner. Wake up and make your customers care again.

De steak was niets op aan te merken, alleen bij "steak frites" verwacht je geen tapas-schaaltje met stompjes friet. Dat kan veel beter...zorgt voor een "ik ben weer eens belazerd" gevoel, nergens voor nodig.

It was the first time at Ijzer for us, but also the last time. We made a reservation in advance because we had small children, and it took a very long time for our food to arrive. We were still waiting for our main course while a table next to us that came in 45 minutes later had already finished several courses and had already left. In addition, water is drained through pipes from the ceiling, which continuously dripped onto us and onto our plates. We indicated this and they already knew about it. And yet they let you stay there... The kids wanted pizza, several choices could be seen on the site. Once in the restaurant there were no pizzas, not as nice as it appears on the site! When asking if everything was satisfactory, this was indicated at checkout, but nothing was done about it. In short, not very good service, we will not come again.

Ga even gezellig met de buurvrouw koffiedrinken en een gebakje eten. Maar nu komt het, voor 1 gebakje betaal je 8€ dus we waren met z,n tweeën dus 25€ inclusief de koffie. De eigenaar moet eens goed opletten waar hij mee bezig is, mijn vrouw komt er ieder geval niet meer!, in dit 5 sterrenrestaurant! . Dus mensen pas op .

We have been coming to IJzer for years, a super nice place. Only the pizzas that were always great are no longer there and the menu has never changed. And I think there is also a different chef because the quality was also a lot less, too bad! So we hope for improvement soon. Done with Iron for now.

Very much enjoyed the 'High cocktail'. Tasty cocktails and 3 delicious dishes. Also very friendly staff. Recommended!

Steak tough, stupid staff, ultimately a disappointed Christmas.

Bad Christmas dinner steak tough...50 euros per person not worth it...mothers choked on a piece of steak everyone was shocked except the manager who just came with the bill while everyone was off the menu and couldn't eat another bite...better more empathy for your customers and do something about the complaints, we are probably not the only ones who found the steak tough! So see you never again😪

We always came here for the delicious pizza. On our anniversary we came here again for a delicious pizza and you wouldn't guess it, but the pizzas suddenly disappeared from the menu. After discussing this with the staff, it turns out that there are not enough kitchen staff to make pizzas. Very unfortunate!!! Several people have already walked away this evening because they did not offer the delicious pizzas.

Hot meat ciabatta sandwich. There was almost no warm meat to be seen on the weak bun, nor was the peanut sauce. Ciabatta was limp, not nice and crunchy. The fries were not cooked through. All food was lukewarm. Such a shame, a disappointing experience.

Good staff who know what they are doing. The tournedos was wonderfully tender, as was the satay. They let you enjoy the food in peace, you are not asked whether it tastes good or whether you want something to drink, but they know how to come by at the right time. In short, an excellent restaurant!!! We will definitely come back here for Christmas dinner!

Ging met twee vriendinnen lunchen, heerlijk gegeten zeker aanrader. Personeel was ook heel erg vriendelijk. Eten vers, prijs is prima, laatste ging mij zoon met tante daar lunchen,( ze kent de eigenaars broer) ik zei wat leuk, toen zei ze ik ga niet eten als ik niet weet dat het lekker eten is. 😂😂

Tonight we wanted something to eat. We were early but still wanted a main course and then continue. We had not made a reservation but there was plenty of room. When we were seated we ordered a (too pricey) drink and asked about the menu. It took a very long time before we received it. Only when we asked for it again. When we had made our choice, all the staff walked past us and again it took a very long time. When we finished our drinks, no one had come to take our order. We then decided to pay and leave. We did not have the customer-is-king feeling and felt ignored as customers. It is not the first bad experience for us at IJzer. This will also be the last time for us. Too bad.

12-10-2024 had lunch again. 30-7-2024 sat on the terrace with a smooth and a bread board, it was absolutely great, almost 27 degrees. February 5, 2023, dinner with 5 people and ambitions were great 👌 You can eat well here 8-9-2022 we had a delicious meal here: a fillet of sea bass, a delicious chicken shawarma pizza and a salmon salad without grapefruit and a delicious dessert

Wonderful place where we ended up by chance! The pizzas are delicious and the atmosphere is more than good. Definitely recommended.

This was a one-off, how bad. We had a club sandwich. The bread was toasted so hard that it looked like rusk, so everything was actually dry. Very poor quality. The place wasn't full, but everything took so long. I should have eaten at Hema, that would have been better. And a club sandwich costs € 14.00. You can expect something from that.

Maandagavond rond half zeven binnengelopen om iets te eten. Een paar tafeltjes bezet. We bleven keurig wachten om te melden dat we wat wouden eten en een medewerker zij ergens te gaan zitten waar geen bordje "gereserveerd" stond. Nergens zo'n bordje dus namen we plaats tegenover de keuken. Er liepen geregeld personeel langs maar niemand kreeg de ingeving dat we zaten te wachten tot iemand een bestelling kwam opnemen. Na ruim 20 minuten viel net kwartje en een buitengewoon niet geinteresserde medewerkster drunde als een robot hoe hun "menu concept" werkt. Voor ons was het goed opletten geblazen want duidelijk en vriendelijk was het absolut niet. Uiteindelijk een 2 glazen wijn en twee saté besteld, het bleek een gerecht van zeer matige kwaliteit te zijn. Kortom, hier komen we zeker nooit meer terug. Een echte afknapper

I went to dinner alone for the first time (as an anxiety challenge). I received really fantastic help, received kind comments and had nice conversations with the staff. I didn't feel anxious, but rather super nice and welcome. The food was delicious too, all in all I really enjoyed my evening here!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered espresso macchiato. Indicates that it is coffee with a small amount of foam and whether the coffee can be warm. It was a small cold cappuccino. This is also indicated. Answer: We like wine and beer more than you should have ordered that. What? But ask for money for the weak and cold coffee. Unbelievable! Never again. What terrible service!

Cozy lunch spot, also for cocktails in the evening after 8 p.m. 8 euros per person. I just didn't like the Sgroppino, which is much better at Wonders.

Buiten geluncht. Leuke plek met uitzicht op het water. Er is keuze uit schaduw of zonplekjes. Bediening was vlot en er is een paar keer gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Eten was smaakte heerlijk en was heel vers. Prima 👍 allemaal.

The food is good, but that's all. We came there in the afternoon. We had some drinks and then ordered a pizza. The story: We have been having drinks since the end of the afternoon. Have a snack and such. The service was very bad. We might as well have brought our own drinks, the staff didn't pay attention and therefore didn't help us. Finally managed to order something. And we had a nice drink. Later we ordered a pizza. After we finished the pizza we ordered another coffee with Tia Maria. This was apparently the last drink for them. Because we wanted to order a drink afterwards. But unfortunately, they weren't allowed anymore. No idea why! I asked at checkout, they thought we had consumed too much. And so I asked them if we were a burden. But the gentleman with holes in his ears told me: we seriously had no complaints about you, but we thought it was enough! Why? We had ordered 10 wines. That's seriously not even a bottle per person. I've never experienced this before. We're already there in the afternoon, it takes forever before we can order, and then we complain about how we ordered 5 wines per person until the evening. No complaints about us or anything. What a lot of whining in this place. Next time, not that that will happen, we will order lemonade and pray before eating.

Afgespriken en beteld voor snelle hap(afspraak na eten). Maar dat liep ff anders. Ze zijn ons gewoon vergeten. Niet eens een toetje kunnen bestellen vanwege de tijd en dat terwijl wij een half uur eerder aanwezig zijn.

It's fine for lunch, but I won't come here for dinner anymore. Tried twice but was very disappointed. But having a drink outside when the weather is nice is fun.

The dishes have surprising names. Service is good. That's what our tip went to. Tip for restaurant and visitors: check in advance whether the gift card is valid in this establishment. One of my fellow diners got sick from the fish dish. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not respond to his message. That's too bad.

Had a delicious Christmas dinner on Boxing Day. Had lunch there today, atmosphere is good, service and food too.

Heerlijke high tea met vriendin gehad. Alles vers bereid en de thee werd zonder vragen bijgevuld. Kan hem zeker aanraden! Vooral de twix taart op foto is top.

Lang moeten wachten op het eten. 1 hoofdgerecht vergeten. Bediening was prima, maar de keuken helaas niet.

Was gezellig en lekker, goede en vlotte bediening, het concept is 3 gangen menu. Achteraf dacht ik wel: had ik maar voor a la carte gekozen. Ik neem als dessert door gezondheids redenen een kopje thee. (Diabeet) Voorgerecht, hoofdgerecht (vega) en een kop thee is naar mijn idee geen 3 gangen menu. Nogmaals lekker gegeten maar jammer dat er na onze opmerking hierover geen flexibele oplossing werd geboden.

Ik en m'n vriendinnen drinken hier soms drankjes, altijd gezellig. Wel een beetje gehorig en aan de prijzige kant.

Weer heerlijk gegeten! Gelukkig was er nog een plekkje zonder te reserveren.

Vandaag samen met mijn vijfjarige dochter hier geluncht. We werden vriendelijk en snel geholpen en voor mijn dochter was er een speciale kinderkaart met ruime keuze uit gerechtjes. Mijn tunamelt "broodje" was erg lekker! Brasserie Ijzer is een groot restaurant, maar dat merk je helemaal niet door de inrichting en de opzet. Je kunt er zitten aan tafeltjes, er zijn loungeplekken, een buitenterras en allerlei gezelschapsspelletjes. Tip: de pizza's hier zijn ook een aanrader!

Echt een superleuk tentje. Heerlijke ciabatta met ribeye gegeten. Een aanrader. De tomatensoep is ook echt lekker.

Wanneer je voor je kind niet het hele menu besteld, is het hoofdgerecht minimaal. Hier iets van gezegd, belachelijke reactie. Dus zelf maar extra friet voor mijn dochter besteld, en zij is geen grote eter.

Niets mis mee. Sfeer was ok, het eten (hotdog newyork) was erg lekker, enkel de ingelegde ui zou ik vervangen voor verse ui of gedroogde ui.

Het eten was veel minder dan wij gewend zijn van Ijzer. Smakeloze Tajine, weinig groenten en flink aan de prijs voor wat je krijgt. Ook bij binnenkomst hing er een frituurlucht en was het heel warm binnen. Onze jassen roken er nog naar de volgende dag.. Op de opmerkingen van het eten werd weinig gedaan; ' we zullen het doorgeven aan de keuken ' . Oké en? Nee, dit viel ons erg tegen. Jammer!

Alleen even paar biertjes gedaan deze keer, hier leent het restaurant zich ook zeer goed voor. De bierkaart is top en wisselt af. Service is tevens behoorlijk professioneel en snel.

Aan de buitenkant van het overdekte winkelcentrum Middenwaard. Leuk ingerichte ruime zaak met terras. Lekker geluncht met een California Clubsandwich en een broodje Ciabatta Kip-Grilworst. Erg ruime porties. Waar naar zijn geld.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Brasserie IJzer. De service was erg goed. Daarnaast kan je ook heerlijk in de zon zitten op het terras. Dus echt een aanrader!

Eten is kariger geworden dan wat ik gewend ben bij dit restaurant. De sate was kleiner en de atjar smaakte niet en was erg smaakloos. Ander eten wat we besteld hadden was oke. Bediening was minder vriendelijk dan wat we gewend zijn, misschien komt het door de vakantie periode maar toch.
