Hosted my farewell drinks for my colleagues. As always, everything was well taken care of.

Super cozy location and friendly service.

Nice and cozy. The food is always good. Nothing culinary, but you come for the atmosphere and the location. A good meal is part of that too. We go by boat in the summer. Plenty of moorings. Marktzicht belongs to Broek, just like the auction house. Highly recommended!

Food super, atmosphere super, service top-notch, and it was also so nice that my husband's birthday received some attention. A small minus point: with the surf and turf, you don't get a washcloth to clean yourself after peeling shrimp.

It was very cozy and also very tasty; I definitely recommend the burger and the Asian platter!

Nice location, beautiful terrace. We had a lovely time. However, for the price, I expected more quality. Garlic sauce instead of truffle mayonnaise on the vegetarian burger, (too much) cocktail sauce not only on the fish but also on the surf & turf meat, etc. And no particularly special flavors or experience. But the most disappointing thing was that one particularly unfriendly, even rude, and impatient lady who served us. The rest of the crew, by the way, was very friendly.

Visited this restaurant for a festive gathering. There was an extensive selection of starters, main courses, and desserts. The quality was good. Atmospheric surroundings. And the service was fine. Definitely worth visiting on your own.

We had a delicious meal tonight. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the menu was small because they were switching to a new one soon. As a result, the choice was very limited. The service was very unfriendly. Very focused on offering lots of drinks. Offering drinks even though the glass wasn't empty yet. Asking if we were finished while one of the four was still eating. It felt very rushed, which was a real shame for the atmosphere. A pity.

The duck breast fillet was tough. The starter was okay, and the dessert was too. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Friendly and cozy, the food looked beautifully presented. The salt shaker on the table was missing though. It seems like almost all restaurants have a low-salt policy these days. Tip: bring salt ;) Drinks were refilled promptly; no Merlo or Cabinet, and limited beer options. Then a skuumkoppe, which thankfully was available. Otherwise, we had a great evening, highly recommended!

Beautiful location, excellent lunch

Today I ate at Restaurant Marktzicht. The extensive menu only offered two plant-based/vegan options, which was a major disappointment. I finally decided to go for the salad, but that was a huge disappointment: it turned out to be a simple plate with just lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion. For a restaurant charging premium prices, you simply expect more. There was a lot of confusion about our order (what from whom for which table), which didn't improve the experience. Afterward, I politely approached the chef about the lack of vegan options. Unfortunately, he didn't seem pleased with my feedback, which made the situation even more awkward. A "meal" consisting only of lettuce leaves is truly unacceptable, especially at the prices they're charging. All in all, it was a disappointing experience and definitely not one I'll be repeating.

Great atmosphere, cozy! Beautiful and spacious terrace by the water, tables inside, and a nice bar.

Unfortunately, as a family, we were sent straight to the bar in an empty restaurant. I learned that means "Piss off!" Apparently, they don't like children here. Well, not then. We left immediately. Absolutely not recommended for families. They should put up a sign to that effect.

Yesterday I dined with a group of 20 women. We enjoyed the delicious food, the service, and we had a great spot outside. Thanks again. Best, Karin Wunderink

Marktzicht in Broek op Langedijk is highly recommended. The location is beautiful, and the view from the terrace makes it perfect—especially when you sit outside, it almost feels like a vacation. The service is friendly and attentive; you can tell they enjoy their work. The food is well-prepared and delicious, with a menu that offers something for everyone. An added bonus is that you can moor your boat right in front of the terrace, which further enhances the relaxing and cozy atmosphere.

Wonderful place with a nice view to the Old Vegetables Auction historical building. The food was delicious. The service was friendly but slow as it was very crowded. Ask about the soup of the day. Don't miss the soup of mustard and salmon. Absolutely amazing.

A pleasant and modern atmosphere. The service is youthful, fresh, and efficient. The staff is attentive to the guests. And the menu is attractive and extensive. The location isn't obvious, but it's definitely worth it!

Sat on the terrace in good weather. Boats passing by, good service, and recently renovated. It looks very cozy inside as well.

We had lunch at Marktzicht today. We reserved a spot in advance, and upon arrival, it was the most beautiful spot on the terrace. The service was friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive. The lunch was excellent, as were the desserts. Beautiful location. The four of us and our dog thoroughly enjoyed it. @Markzicht, thank you so much for your hospitality!

Super cozy place in a beautiful location. I hadn't been there in years, so on Friday night at 9 pm, let's go. The only food we could order was fried food. Oh, by God's grace, the friendly but inexperienced waiter managed to get us some hummus as well. Great. This turned out to be quite, uh, different. Korkuma, curry—no idea what it was exactly, but I didn't like it, buried under spring onion rings and a few bits of feta—strange. The crostini broke every time someone tried to dip the hummus with them. And then there was the wine. Chardonnay Reserva, not very flavorful, a shame. The house rosé was undrinkable, an unusual choice. The IGP rosé was quite good, though. Oh, and I had to move at some point because I constantly smelled cat poop where we were sitting on the terrace.

Good food, the salad with salmon and smoked needles was superb.

Great place to moor with bike or boat. The lunch platter with oriental dishes is a good choice.

Very special. Nowhere is it announced that a dog is not allowed inside. Unfortunately, our group with our sweet Pomeranian was rejected.

Prachtig restaurant met uitzicht op de historische groenteveiling van Broek op Langedijk. In de zomer kan je er op het grote terras zitten. Wat jammer is dat de traditionele varkenshaassaté van de kaart is verdwenen. De saté van kip is toch net niet wat we zoeken. In plaats daarvan de Asian sort ribs van uitstekende kwaliteit. Een echte aanrader. Goed gegaard en krokant gebakken. Samen met de oosterse saus een heerlijk gerecht. Van de saus had nog wel meer op het plankje gemogen (de functie het onderliggende papierservet was ons niet duidelijk).

Good food, with a sunny terrace.

This place acted as a rest stop for us on a meet-up walk. The group basically ordered drinks. Nothing extra-ordinary. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. I was especially impressed with the bathrooms not only because they were clean and well kept but also because they had warm water for washing the hands (quite uncommon occurrence in the Netherlands lol).

The food was really delicious! We had the bavette, bream, and satay. We all really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is good, nicely decorated. Staff very friendly. Can't think of anything that could be better.

Het voormalige dorpscafé is al enige jaren veranderd in een aangename eetgelegenheid. Er hangt een gemoedelijke sfeer en daar draagt het vriendelijke personeel aan bij. De keuken bereidt lekkere gerechten en het zijn ruime porties. Wijn is hier ook redelijk geprijsd.

The food was tasty but not much, I ate for 80 euros per person and was not full. I ordered a burger and did not get any vegetables. the desserts were also not tasty, had little choice and were very bitter

Was here for a company outing from work. The food (in my case a satay combo) was fine. The service is alert and attentive. Good eatery with a cozy, intimate atmosphere.

Het voorgerecht, geitenkaas, vis, waren ok maar beide hadden wij een kipsaté besteld. Kip zou gegrild zijn....??? De satésaus had weinig smaak, de rauwkost op het bord niet voorzien van enige dressing. Vrij smakeloos. Daardoor niet voor een nagerecht gekozen. Stoelen met beschadigde zittingen, zonde want de plek is echt leuk.

It was a pleasant evening, the food was delicious, the service was good, the food, in this case satay of the hare with fries, was tasty, and the plate was neatly laid out, we had a nice evening in an affordable restaurant.

Nice informal atmosphere, wide choice, good quality and service ready for a chat if there is time.

We had a delicious drink with 2 excellent Gin Tonics. Then we had a nice meal with sashimi followed by halibut. Add a nice bottle of Soave and finish with excellent caramel ice cream. Nice 'bistro style' restaurant with surprisingly good cuisine. Service friendly and helpful. They still have some room for growth professionally, but that will probably be fine. We will definitely come back!

A simple lunch shouldn't be that difficult, the quality is reasonable, but with service from a waitress who is apparently vinegary drank instead of coffee. Unfriendly and slow. The entire bar was full of dishes and dirty glasses, even though there were plenty of staff around.

Great opportunity to have a nice lunch. With the boat moored in front of the door, a beautiful seat on the terrace with a view of the famous sailing auction. Sandwiches fine, could be a little richer toppings but tasty.

Very busy so there is sometimes an extra wait, but it is not without reason that it is a popular spot on the water with a view of the Broekerveiling!

We sat outside on the terrace. We arrived by sloop and you can moor there. The view is great. What more could you want in Broek op Langedijk. The auction in 1912. There is plenty of choice. Something went wrong and was quickly resolved with extra attention. Just a photo. Great night.

An excellent Restaurant/Hotel, had a lovely meal out, highly recommended, beautifully laid out heated plates! Tasty combinations of food, I opted for the large asparagus with cod, everything tasted delicious, beforehand I had a romp of shrimp, salmon and eel, delicious! And after a delicious tersmisu with ice cream on gingerbread nuts and amaretto.

De vinello tonato was flauw. Als hoofdgerecht de ribeye (chef special?) besteld. Geserveerd op een onverwarmd bord, was aan de koude kant .Het vlees was rauw en bijna niet te snijden. Een taaie koude homp vlees. Het overgrote deel laten staan en direct om de rekening gevraagd. Als tegemoetkoming voor de verpeste avond en het beroerde eten werd een flesje spa rood op de rekening in mindering gebracht, dit heb ik als belediging opgevat. De eerste keer in dit restaurant is tevens mijn laatste , nooit meer naar deze plek.

Het heeft een huiselijke sfeer. Bij binnenkomst voel je je gelijk welkom. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Het uitzicht op het water en museum is prachtig.
