After eating here a number of times, this was the last time. We arrived at 5:50 PM and after half an hour we were finally able to order our food. When we still didn't have a starter at 6:40 PM, we asked if they could give the children food in advance, and they became a bit impatient after more than an hour. The appetizer arrived at 7:20 PM, but nothing for the kids yet, so we just indicated. 7:45 PM Still nothing for the kids, so I asked again if they could prepare something for the kids. At 7:50 PM the food came first for 2 adults, 7 minutes later for the 2 other adults, and lastly for the kids. When we were done, we waited another 15 minutes, but no one came to the table to ask for dessert, so we put on our coats, paid and indicated that it was not very nice. We are told, yes, the food has to be prepared, the order arrived at the kitchen late, blah blah blah. No apologies, nothing just defensive, and they gave the feeling of not taking it seriously and looked extremely grumpy. Personally, the lady could have said better, sorry, I understand our apologies, but no, she kept saying that it didn't take that long. When we were paying, another person came to complain and had been waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes. All in all, we won't be going here again. We came every month for the last six months, but now they no longer see us.

Minos Pallas has been the best Greek specialty restaurant in Heerhugowaard and the surrounding area for more than 25 years. A real family business with many regular customers. For a first introduction, I recommend the Pikilia starter. Then take a break before having the main course served. The house wine is excellent! All dishes taste excellent. The parking garage is well secured and literally around the corner. When the weather is nice you can also enjoy Greek specialties on the terrace. Excellent price-quality ratio. And attentive treatment of birthday customers.

Als vaste klant, sinds 1988, werden we nu op 3 januari j.l. door de 2 leidinggevenden met de rug aangekeken, geen enkel teken van welkom en of ontvangst met de beste wensen voor 2025. Verder is er op het eten en kwaliteit niets af te dingen, jammer dat wij in het geheel niet het gevoel hadden een gewaardeerde klant ze zijn.

Booked a table for 2 at 6:30 PM, we were 5 minutes early. After dinner we went to the movie (20:20) Just under 2 hours to eat. Well......we had drinks and ordered the Greek table. But after 50 minutes the bread slice wasn't even there! After asking, it came right away. 15 minutes later the starters. Once again we reported that we really had to be at the cinema at 8:20 PM. We couldn't even finish the main course because we were pressed for time. Desserts were requested quickly, which we received at 8:15 PM. Ultimately, after paying, we didn't get to the cinema until 8:15 PM (300 meter walk from Minos Pallas). The food is tasty, but the waiting time is absurd. A shame about the €93.50 we spent.

We had dinner here this week. We had the Greek dish and received several delicious starters, a large plate with various tender meat dishes, fries, rice, salad and sauces. Then we could choose a dessert from the menu. It was all delicious. The waiter came by very often to see if everything was okay and if we wanted something to drink.

The employees certainly want to do well, the girls in the service do their best, but the organization is a mess and the basics of the catering rules are lacking. The wait for the food and especially the drinks took far too long, empty plates and glasses were left standing for an hour. After waiting 25 minutes for 1 round of drinks, a drink was missing, which still had not been brought after 20 minutes, so I had to ask for it again. The starters were fine but the main courses were scandalously bad. A 'mixed grill' with a lamb chop the size of a small chicken nugget, gyros somewhere between barely frozen and lukewarm and the rest immersed in salt, nothing else in terms of seasonings. We canceled one of the main courses 5 minutes after ordering, ultimately more than 100 minutes before we received the main course, but it was still on the receipt at the end. I was last here 10 years ago and 10 years from now I will be walking around here with a wide berth.

I'm surfing the internet for a while and to my surprise people write nasty and unfair messages about the company where I'm sure everything they do there is done with a lot of passion. Because it is a top business, it is often very busy and you sometimes have to wait a little longer. These are not microwave products and for good food you may have to be a little patient. I think it's great there and maybe people who have no patience and don't want to eat so well should go somewhere else. (small suggestion, Febo)

Friendly welcome with a glass of Greek ouzo on the house. We had the Greek table 3-course menu. It was truly a feast on the table. Definitely recommended if you like rich food for a competitive price.

If everything arrives lukewarm, you still have to cook the fries in the air fryer and you still have to fry the gyros because it is soggy, something is not going quite right... Still decided to post a review because it is not the first time that the food arrives lukewarm/cold. We will no longer be ordering. Too bad because the restaurant is always great!

Had delicious Greek tapas tonight. Tasty and good portions. There was also live music. The food was delicious, the service smooth and friendly. Finally a restaurant where nothing is charged for a carafe of water. We had a pleasant evening and all for a nice affordable price.

Vanavond heerlijke Griekse tapas gegeten. Smaakvol en goede porties. Er was ook live muziek. Het eten was heerlijk, de bediening vlot en aardig. Eindelijk weer eens een restaurant waar niets voor een karaf water gerekend wordt. Hebben een gezellige avond gehad en dat alles voor een mooie betaalbareprijs.

In terms of taste, the food is delicious and worth a big 10. However, if you come to eat tapas, time is an issue. Waiting 28 minutes for a tapas and then hearing that it is not in the system is a no-go for me. Then you order something else and you have to wait another 14 minutes. Waiting 42 minutes for your tapas is extreme!! And never experienced that before. Now I understand that you can eat unlimitedly all evening, but we literally had 4 tapas (each) in 2 hours and 10 minutes!! Besides the long wait for the food, they are also not quick to deliver the drinks. You order and 16 minutes later you get something, if you're lucky. No, recommended in terms of food but not in terms of time!! You must have angelic patience. The atmosphere, on the other hand, is good. Taste great! Atmosphere great! Speed, bad. This could be much, much better.

We bestellen thuis wel eens bij Minos Pallas dus we wisten dat het eten goed was. Maar de ervaring in het restaurant is helaas een stuk minder goed bevallen. Ongelofelijk lang wachten op eten en drinken. Onvriendelijke bediening. En gewoon een beetje het gevoel hebben genegeerd te worden. Onwijs lang wachten op bestelling opnemen en ook onwijs lang met een leeg glas aan tafel zitten. Niemand kijkt naar je om. Aangezien het echt niet goedkoop is vind ik dit toch wel erg jammer. Volgende keer toch maar weer thuis bestellen! Het eten is namelijk nog wel steeds heerlijk!

bediening onvriendelijk. Enorm lang wachten op eten en drinken. Wij hadden een ossenhaas en een frikandel met friet. eten was wel heel lekker, maakte een hoop goed. ik zou gewoon bestellen, ik denk serieus dat je dan veel minder lang wacht.

Great restaurant, we were here on Boxing Day. Unfortunately, it was a shame that the service was too little, so we had to wait at least 1:30 for the first course and 3 hours in total.

Het ontvangst had eigenlijk al een hint moeten zijn. Man man de vrolijkheid was ver te zoeken. Neem hier geen tapas! Na 1,5 uur bijna niks te hebben gegeten was ik er wel klaar mee. Vergeet de 7 euro voor 0,4 biertje met 5 fingers schuim niet. De 150 euro die ik moest afrekenen was makkelijk verdiend. Wat je krijgt is prima maar als je van eten houd ga dan verder kijken.

Delicious food, but the lamb chops were not pink and a little too dry. The service was exceptionally good, but we missed something in the atmosphere. Well and what? The music could be louder, because that also determines the atmosphere, but we don't know what was missing. Still definitely recommended.

Wij hebben er heerlijk gegeten. Bediening is goed. Sfeer is uitstekend.

Prima Grieks eten maar als je een 3 gangen menu neem geef dan wel aan dat ze rustig aan doen tenzij je haast heb, ze houden hier wel van doorstomen, maar verder helemaal top, ook keer geweest tijdens topdrukte dan merk je wel dat ze met het beperkte personeel het behoorlijk moeilijk hebben om alles op een beetje schappelijke rond te krijgen

Naast de bekende grill ook vegetarisch met smaak gegeten. Sfeer als altijd warm en ontspannen

Vriendelijke bediening en het eten was ook prima

Perfect eten super personeel en gezellige sfeer. De koffie was per ongeluk gevallen door de serveerster en kregen koffie gratis en 1 biertje gratis. Alle 4 mochten we gratis iets uitkiezen maar wij de dames hadden nog koffie en een Latte maciato dus wij hoefden niets. Heel attent van de baas en personeel. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Prima gerechten en men heeft alle tijd voor de klanten. Prijs qualities verhouding is prima op orde. Een aanrader.

Qua smaak heb ik niks aan te merken op dit restaurant. De opmaak en portionering daarentegen laten nog wat te wensen over. Bij het voorgerecht verlepte sla en uitgedroogde paprika als garnering. Het hoofdgerecht had qua grootte meer weg van een kindermenu. Er werd achteraf nog wel wat aangeboden ter compensatie, goed bedoeld maar een beetje mosterd na de maaltijd.

Gisteren avond uit eten geweest met mijn zoon heel erg lekker, vriendelijke bediening, en redelijk betaalbaar. Dus volgende keer weer daarheen.

Gezellig restaurant bij Middenwaard. Lekker eten! Vooral de traditionele vleesgerechten. Fijne bediening.
