Ate here for the fourth time last week. The quality is good and consistent, the staff and service are of a very good level, which is unfortunately rare these days. However, the fact that the service puts one measly bowl of fries for 2 people on the table with the main course and jokingly makes the remark “it's okay to share, isn't it?” I can accept that, but after paying almost 250 euros (2 ps) it feels a bit strange. wryly. It could all be a little more generous for that money, and I don't just mean the fries. For the level of service I would like to continue to return regularly, and quality may certainly cost something, but this is starting to become a bit disproportionate.

Son celebrated his 25th anniversary there. My girlfriend ordered a Surf and Turf. Lobster and meat was not really warm. I had a steak just like my son. Small piece of meat. I didn't want fries but there wasn't anything else available... so what... I take extra vegetables. However, there was a hair in between. No string. Apologies were made from the kitchen and we continue as usual. Two bowls of fries/fries for 4? I don't get it... I had vegetables... so there should have been three. Girl said it is per container for two people. Other son had three sole fillets. That was fine I guess. Took a bottle of wine. They are happy to pour it for you... service was otherwise okay. Desserts were okay. Left 220 euros lighter and disappointed.. I would have expected a cup of coffee to compensate for the hair... or something else... Shame. The tent had a good reputation. Once never again. There are better ones.

Great spot next to the kitchen, where there was a nice interaction with the kitchen staff. Very friendly waiter and delicious sole. Recommended!!!

Calamari and lobster is highly recommended, lobster is fresh one and they cook it well, Fish is pretty average but overall is good! People are nice as well, it’s really nice restaurant !

We had a delicious lunch last Saturday. Thank you Walter and Ariska for the hospitality and service. And the great team chefs. Everything was on point for the wonderful taste experience!

Just the worst experience after actually a nice day in Rotterdam. Cheap and frozen fries with no taste. Disgusting old salad. Supermarket sauces. Service very bad! Way to expensive!!!

Busy and noisy and you clearly pay a bit more, but for quality that was great!

The Brasserie has a very attractive atmosphere. The staff attentive and attentive. The food was delicious. Searched for a long time for a restaurant where they reserve pans of mussels. Here there was a really wide choice of various flavors of mussels, oysters, fish and shellfish. Unfortunately small choice of meat for my husband 😂. But we will definitely come back with our daughters, who also love fish, mussels and school animals. Dessert was not to our taste, but that can happen.

Nice Christmas atmosphere and good food!

The incredible treatment, I loved the treatment of the guys who were super friendly and attentive to everything, knowing that I speak Spanish they brought a colleague who spoke Spanish and the treatment was incredible, I left delighted 🥰❤️

The food was delicious and the service from the cheerful and friendly staff was great. I was a little disappointed that the mussels were less meaty than in Korea, but they had a special taste. I recommend it

Kaat Mossel is een Rotterdams instituut. Zelf ben ik al 30 jaar weg uit Rotterdam maar dit weekend met een groep vrienden hebben we daar gegeten. Wat een heerlijke avond, wat een heerlijk eten en wat een FANTASTISCHE service. Als er een Nobelprijs voor de horeca zou bestaan dan zou Walter die ons bediend heeft hem verdienen. Die man begrijpt dat horeca entertainment is en dat de mensen in de eerste plaats komen om een goede avond te hebben. Het was fantastisch man! Dank je wel. Het ga je goed.

Bediening was uitstekend. De obers waren warm, vriendelijk en attent. Het eten was overheerlijk en er was echt een fijne sfeer. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van onze avond bij Kaat Mossel.

Wij hebben donderdagavond heerlijk gegeten bij Kaat Mossel. We kwamen speciaal voor de kreeft. Dat was de moeite waard, heerlijk!! Met de beurre blanc, top! Vooraf oesters en wat zalm, paling en garnaaltjes. Lekker vers. Dessert was ook goed. We vinden de sfeer iets te brasserie achtig...voor een gezellig avondje uit. Personeel was vriendelijk, niks op aan te merken, prima! Buiten nog gezellig koffie gedronken, met de kacheltje aan...dat was weer heel sfeervol. Al met al, een geslaagde avond !

Gastvrij en gezellig, goede kwaliteit van wijn voor een redelijke prijs.

Ontzettend aardig personeel, je voelt je echt welkom en het eten was heerlijk! Wij zijn blij dat we Kaat Mossel ontdekt hebben. Tot de volgende keer!

I've been living in the Netherlands for 12 years now. I think i found the most rude service ever. We were there 11 september for 8 PM shift.

Lekkere visjes, goede bediening

We were with a big group of people and the restaurant was book and still The food came on time and was excellent.

De bediening is uitstekend, scherp en vriendelijk. Het eten is goed, sommige gerechten zelfs zeer goed. Het is wel wat aan de prijzige kant, een relatief klein pannetje standaard mosselen bijvoorbeeld voor 28,50 is goed betaald. Het is een restaurant waar ik zeker nog een keer terugkom.
