Brasserie Pierre in Rotterdam Centrum

Today we ordered two Caesar salads, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The lettuce was not cut and consisted of huge pieces, which made eating it very awkward. In addition, there was a lot of fat on the chicken, which made it completely unappetizing - I didn't even touch it. This is absolutely not how a Caesar salad should be. I would not recommend it.

Best restaurant in our area. We like to come here to eat/drink, have a drink. Best place to sit is on the terrace; often until late in the sun because of the favorable location

Wonderful restaurant, always relaxed! Good atmosphere and good food too. Had dinner with a group of 9 last week and everything was good.

The wines and food was good. I liked the beef bourguignon. Creme brulee was good but the top wasn’t really crispy. It’s a shame they didn’t seem to have dessert wine too go with it.

Delicious mushroom risotto and mussels, the cakes were also tasty. Would recommend the chocolate pie most. The interior is lovely, that french bistro vibe. Love that. Very friendly staff, a bit slow and not always noticing you while it was not that busy. But we were not in a hurry, which means for us it is fine for others that might be an issue. There was a small issue with the wine, it was really sour somehow. They were so nice to switch it for another one. Highly appreciate that part of their service.

We came without booking and were lucky to get a table. Book well in advance. Excellent meal. Great French cuisine. Great atmosphere and service.

Received some tasty dishes, avocado tartare, croque madam and chicken sandwich were good, Caesar salad was a bit dry as far as I was concerned, but they quickly added extra dressing and then the anchovies tasted less strange (they don't add canned anchovies in oil)

you can have a nice lunch here. But every time I find that certain dishes are sold out. The service is very rushed. when it's busy, long waiting times. But that is understandable. Very noisy inside.

Pierre is always a good idea! Food is tasty, service is good and steady open, so you can (almost) always go there. The prices have risen, perhaps there is no other way, but I am enthusiastic about a Crodino Spritz for 10 euros each. It was tasty!

Fijn gegeten bij Pierre. Gratis water en brood zie je tegenwoordig niet veel meer. Vriendelijke bediening. Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding in orde. Aandachtspunt is dat de tafel relatief te dicht bij elkaar staan, waardoor privacy niet gegarandeerd is.

I was waiting first in line, then they decided to help all the Dutch people after me first (I am Chinese) So I waited a lot longer, even though I was actually first in line. Bad experience overall. Would not recommend as a non-Dutch person

Very pretty bistro style restaurant. We ordered two croque madame’s which were good but nothing special. The service was great however, so I mostly recommend coming for the nice atmosphere !

Wat een leuke en gezellige plek. Goeie inrichting. Echt alsof je in Parijs bent. Druk maar niet te druk. Bediening attent, snel, vriendelijk. Porties qua omvang goed. Je kunt goed combineren doordat veel gerechten zowel als voor- als hoofdgerecht kunnen worden besteld. En kwaliteit gewoon goed. Al met al zeker voor herhaling vatbaar

We went to eat today, we didn't have a reservation but they took us anyway. Very modern place with a good atmosphere and people. We ordered the onion soup which was very good, a steak tartare which was spectacular and a Caesar salad for starters. For the main course, the duck, which was very well presented and the meat tender and juicy, and the petit mushroom risotto, which was brutal. It's not cheap but it's worth it, everything is very good, quality product and 10 presentation.

Upon entering we were seated next to a couple who also used our table and the chairs that came with it. Because it felt like we were sitting at their table, we walked to another table. We couldn't sit there because of students who sat next to it and had literally turned it into their study space. Their power cord ran along our table. We wanted to have a quiet lunch together, but we didn't get a "restaurant" feeling but more of a student canteen where everyone felt a little too much at home. We left the “restaurant” out of misery. I don't feel like sitting on someone else's lip and having to eat my sandwich while someone 10 cm away is typing frantically on her laptop. The service was also very unfriendly. Last time for me.

What a wonderful experience when you enter you are warmly welcomed and taken to your table. Compliments to the staff. Lunch was fine and we will come back again for dinner. Great service, it's been a long time since we've had that feeling and we've eaten at different levels.

We often come there for lunch, very tasty lunch menu with lots of choice. Tip to arrive on time or book in advance because it is often full.

Er valt niets aan te merken op het eten. Voorgerechten en hoofdgerechten zijn heerlijk. Je kunt kiezen voor kleine of grote versies van verschillende gerechten, waarbij de kleine boeuf bourguignon voor mij zelfs nog te groot was. Bediening is erg druk, wat er toe leidt dat het in het begin van de avond allemaal wat langer duurt. Het comfort laat dan wel wat te wensen over. We zitten met z'n vieren aan twee kleine ronde tafeltjes. Het past allemaal maar net! Harde houten stoeltjes en een bankje zijn ons zitgemak. Gelukkig liggen er wat kussentjes....

Nice place and with an unusually large menu for a restaurant in Holland. The possibility of having the "petit" version of the various first courses is very pleasant, so as to be able to taste even two.

Nice service and kind people, but for a French it is a bit disappointing. We had a breakfast, the omelette was not baveuse at all and maybe a bit big. Served only with bread in a not so beautyful setting. The friends eggs which ham and cheese where set as a sort of tartine with the cheese melted on the eggs on the top of two slices of ham. It was too big and maybe not matching the quality we are used to. It was a bit too much. I did not like the taste after few bites. Overall the cafe is medium. I am quite difficult with that. But it is ok to stop here.

The food was very good and so were the wines and beers. If you are looking for a well-prepared meal in a casual environment, this is your place. It can be busy at times. Good and surprisingly wide selection of wines and beers.

Nos quedamos sorprendidos y encantados en nuestra cena aquí. El sarro perfecto de carne de mi esposa fue el más hermoso que ha tenido en cualquier lugar. Mis fish & chips "ordinarios" eran cualquier cosa menos ordinarios y la presentación más creativa para un plato tan básico de la historia. Hubo una especie de montículo que supongo vegetal, tal vez incluso papa, que de alguna manera había sido cortado en mechones delgados de cabello y frito. Se veía espectacular. En lugar de la típica olla pequeña de salsa tártara, el pescado estaba rodeado de una salsa espesa que estaba más que deliciosa. Ahora he sido mimado por fish & chips ya que nadie puede salir a hacer esto. Las palabras no pueden hacer justicia a esta comida. El servicio fue excelente y solo deseamos que este restaurante estuviera en casa ya que cenaríamos allí al menos una vez a la semana.

Pierre’s way of cooking french onion soup was trash! The food was mediocre to say the least….French onion soup(onions were not caramelized, more al dente,l very thin broth…)They were out of the mussels so we ordered the prawns(came as if previously frozen, and kind of like warm shrimp cocktail prawns) They were served in a lemon ‘broth’ which was like water with lemon mixed with raw(maybe blanched for 30 seconds)snow peas and green beans…(do not recommend). The sweet potato fries were fantastic! I would never revisit this establishment again, or recommend it to someone else. Bottled wine and fries were the highlight-

the bavette was nothing special and a bit burnt. the fries were fried too short and therefore too soft. Fortunately, the starters and stewed dishes are excellent!

What a brasserie! Unique. Everything is just right here. The food is great, the service perfect and an ambience - you think you are in France. There's simply no more. And if the prices are right, you'll be happy to come back. For us an absolute highlight in Rotterdam. We always enjoy coming back here. Highly recommended.

Great place have been going there for years. food quality has decreased over time.We ordered the fish & chips and the salad was really soggy and not up to scratch. Other food was mediocre at best.

This review is based on a single visit on a Saturday afternoon on the terrace. It is a French style brasserie. The menu is therefore also based on French cuisine. The decoration of the store is attractive and the terrace is located on a fairly lively street. The service was neat and tidy but quite businesslike. The coffee and the croque monsieur tasted great. The highlight for me was the warm date cake...how delicious it was!

Had dinner at Pierre's more than once and had a delicious meal as usual. Unfortunately the service was not as we are used to. It takes a very long time for drinks and then food to be absorbed. Sitting with empty glasses for a long time before being asked for a new drink. Also spent far too long with empty plates on the table, leaving the plates behind after recording the next round. The table next to us was served exceptionally well and had new drinks before the previous glasses were empty. As it turned out, it was our own staff who were having a nice drink… It seems to me that you should treat your other guests at least as well. Won't be back there soon unfortunately.

Excellent brasserie with delicious, consistent cuisine for a good price. Nice French menu, from the table to the toilet is well taken care of. The service is excellent and professional. You can enjoy delicious dishes or dishes in the sun (which falls just right) on the terrace or with plenty of space inside.

Had a drink here today on the terrace with daughter (13). Super friendly service. Nice wine and home made lemonade. We had a nice seat. What I saw being served around me looked mouth-watering. Unfortunately we already had other plans, but I will definitely eat here soon. To be continued so..

Very cute restaurant with a cosy atmosphere ! We had a burger, beef bourguignon with mashed potatoes and salad with goat cheese ! Very tasty ! The staff were friendly and nice ! In general a nice place for family occasion :)

Afgelopen vrijdag super goed gegeten heerlijk buiten in de zon, medewerkers netjes en professioneel.Vandaag zondag 30-6 lijkt het de vrouwelijke medewerksters( die hier al een tijdje werken) niet te interesseren. Toast was aangebrand, groente er bovenop waren 4 stukjes gember thee smaakte niet( was voorgesneden en daardoor uitgedroogd) en de mosselen zijn nooit aangekomen. In het weekend prijs kwaliteit verhouding zwaar onder de maat.

The place is well-decorated. We were a group of 4 and luckily were seated outside without a reservation on a Saturday. They also have heaters outside; good overall ambience. I had the half smoked salmon/half tuna sandwich. Food was alright, I thought the prices were on the expensive side. I’d prefer to come back just for drinks. Service was very friendly. Coffee was decent.

You feel like you're in a French bistro. The onion soup and sweet potato are my favorite. Recommended.
