wow... we're not from around here... just grabbing a quick lunch, nothing special, ordered just a cup of coffee and a fried egg... here that's anything but ordinary... here they make a real feast out of it and a fried egg: 3 perfectly fried eggs with bacon and 3 slices of super fresh bread... highly recommended. we will definitely come back here

Nice atmosphere and delicious food

We had an incredibly delicious meal here. I had the salmon and a friend had the tenderloin. Both were incredibly tasty, really nothing to fault. I have lived in the neighborhood my whole life. This was the first time. Fantastic! We will be back.

Food very good, and that in Hvliet😄 nice, efficient service from the lady. Salmon: Refined flavors, zucchini just right, fried potatoes very pleasant. Chicken satay: tasty peanut sauce, chicken well seasoned, practical in a small bowl instead of a stick, unique salad on the side (a bit heavy in the combination, but tasty on its own) reasonable prices for the side dishes. Everything attractively presented.

One of the few places in Hoogvliet where you get a good meal served. Plenty of choice and nice, tasty portions!

Been a few times already, and had a delicious meal every time. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great. Many restaurants could learn from this!

Well, no! The terrace is located along the road, resulting in a huge number of noisy cars. Limited choice of lunch dishes. Panini €7.95; that is really ridiculous for a ready-made (Sligro) sandwich that has just been briefly put under the grill. And that is actually one of the few things you can order for lunch. Friendly service, but unfortunately, that’s all you get by with in the hospitality industry!

The food I ordered was delicious as always, but the COOKIE (chocolate chip cookie) I got with it for free is next level! It was abnormally tasty, I'm just going to order it with the food next time :)

I had a ribeye sandwich, it was very tasty. Last time I had a meatball sandwich which was very dry. But I was allowed to order a different sandwich then, which was carpaccio and that was good. So that's why the 4 stars for the food. The service could be a bit friendlier; not a smile or a chat.

What a lovely spot in Hoogvliet. You are always welcomed with a smile here; the staff are truly priceless. The atmosphere is great, and you can enjoy a delicious lunch and a very good cup of coffee here. Definitely worth a visit!

Went there for lunch on March 19, 2026, it was super delicious... only the service could be a bit friendlier. I had reserved because it was my girlfriend's birthday, but the waitresses couldn't manage a congratulation. A shame, otherwise it was wonderful, worth repeating... hopefully the staff can show a bit more interest, the young girls 😊

Brasserie Me Moeder is a well-known name in Hoogvliet, offering delicious food and superb service. Bas and Dimitri are two fantastic owners, and the five of us will definitely be back for another delicious meal.

I ordered dinner again tonight, and it was so incredibly delicious...the double smashed cheeseburger was fantastic, and the bavette was also wonderfully tender and perfectly cooked, as were the fries. The milkshakes were also delicious again. And, not unimportantly, it arrived nice and hot. ☺️ It's nice to eat in the restaurant, but it's also not a hardship to have it delivered. 😀

One word: too expensive for what you get. The omelet with mushrooms is not a real omelet, but just beaten eggs; ridiculous. The coffee is ridiculously small. Never again, and I don't recommend it either; it is not a cozy café at all.

We had lunch here. The food was pretty standard. My table companion had bread and croquettes, which is exactly what it is. As a vegetarian, I didn't have many options. I chose a vegetable omelet, which is exactly what you get: an omelet with onion, bell pepper, and zucchini. My table companion is mentally challenged and also deaf (so she speaks very loudly). The service was patient and super friendly, which was great! The atmosphere was great; despite overlooking a large parking lot, you still managed to make the most of it!

A while ago, I ordered the spicy XL spareribs. They were rock hard, the membrane hadn't been removed, and the marinade hadn't soaked in. They weren't spicy at all. There were three thin slices of fresh chili. Absolutely disgusting. I'll never order from them again.

Delicious croquettes, super friendly staff

Today I ordered a sandwich from 'My Mother' for all my colleagues. It starts with the humor of walking over to your colleagues and saying I'm just popping by my mother's, of course... I was received very kindly and was back outside in no time with 2 bags full of tasty sandwiches. The gentleman even opened the door for me. Speaking for myself, I really enjoyed this tasty sandwich and I definitely recommend this place!

I sat down and asked if I could have an omelette cooked in butter instead of oil, as I have dietary restrictions. The waitress checked and came back to say they didn’t have butter. I politely said I would go elsewhere and was finishing an email before leaving. The restaurant was half empty, yet I was told "you cannot sit here," and shortly after a large man came out and rudely said, "Do you want something to eat or not?" I left immediately. Extremely poor customer service. It costs nothing to treat people with basic courtesy — especially when they have been polite and the restaurant is not busy.

Even though it wasn't really busy, we had to wait quite a while because there was only 1 girl serving. Lunch and coffee were delicious. The board itself didn't look very nice, it was a bit bare. The girl at the service was correct in her contact but far from friendly. It didn't look like she was there because she liked it. This same girl had artificial nails of about 4 to 5 cm, they were true works of art but not very hygienic if you work in a restaurant / brasserie, I also do not understand why her employer tolerates this. If the Commodities Act comes along, they will certainly say something about this.

We had a very nice lunch here with the kids visiting from Indonesia. The sandwiches, panini, and other lunch dishes are worth it.

Not for seniors who can't eat normal portions. Previously (November 2023) my 87-year-old mother was able to get a children's menu here, now that is no longer possible. It's a shame we would have to leave 3/4 of her portion. I find that kind of thing very unfriendly to customers. We won't be coming back!

Das Essen ist OK...Was gar nicht geht ist das keine Seniormenü,s auf der Menükarte stehen für ältere Menschen.Wir haben öfters hier ein Kindermenü für meine Mutter bekommen weil sie mit 87 Jahr sehr wenig isst,aber gestern da ging das plötzlich nicht mehr .Meine Mutter musste sich für ein anderes Gericht entscheiden und das wurde dann auch nicht von ihr gegessen ,weil es ihr nicht geschmeckt hat.Schade es hat auch 18.euro gekostet . Ich finde das sehr Kunden unfreundlich und wir werden nicht mehr hierher kommen .

Just had a really delicious meal. I like American filet. My husband hot meat sandwich. Both were delicious. But because of GBP I can't eat everything. No problem. Remaining half was neatly packed. There were even fresh flowers on the table. Will definitely come back here.
