Simply a great meal in the evening. A wonderful atmosphere. During the day, outside by the canal, with sunshine and a pleasant terrace and very friendly staff. With excellent ribs and the best capacio I've ever eaten on my many travels around the world. Highly recommended.

They came promptly to take our order, but then it took 45 minutes for us to get our lunch. The food was excellent; I had a trio of carpaccio, soup, and croquette. Delicious, artisanal croquettes, you can definitely taste them. The soup had some (to me) indefinable salty cubes. The carpaccio was also delicious, but the lettuce was under the carpaccio, making the bread a bit soggy. It would have been better on top or on the side, in my opinion. But it was a delicious meal.

The appetizer platter was fantastic. The pike-perch was a bit bland. The steak was a bit too medium. The staff was very friendly.

It was beyond disappointing; the waitress was inflexible and unfriendly. The children ordered pancakes with Nutella, but we had to wait forever for the Nutella, so the pancakes were already cold. We returned the Nutella twice because it had expired each time. The staff didn't care at all. The Nutella had to be ordered separately, and then they even had the nerve to charge us for it. First and last visit. The next table also had a meal returned to the kitchen...

Very stylish decor! The sweet spare ribs were excellent! Super tender meat that fell off the bone, very meaty ribs with an excellent sauce! Absolutely recommended; I've rarely eaten such good spare ribs!

The food was delicious and the service was great. Because it was the season, everyone was eating outside and the restaurant wasn't that crowded, but everything was kept spotless and clean. I had the schnitzel, and the carefully seasoned batter and the toppings (tomato, mushroom, green onion, etc.) and cheese were perfectly balanced and very delicious. My colleague who went with me ordered the mussels, and she was amazed at the quantity! Every single one was very fresh, firm, and delicious. The location was also great, and we were able to relax and enjoy a delicious meal while looking out at the river. I highly recommend it for a summer vacation.

What a fantastic spot by the water. A large terrace with plenty of room for people to move around, so you don't have to wait long for a table. Delicious specialty beers on the menu! Very friendly and helpful service.

Bad experience at Brasserie 14 We had a bad experience at this restaurant on several levels. Firstly, the coffee was lukewarm for two of the three guests at the table. The outdoor bench we sat on was downright filthy: lots of dog hair on the cushions and nasty stains on the seat. Unfortunately, this wasn't the worst part. When our food was served, two of the three dishes arrived on utterly disgusting plates. The plates were covered in caked-on stains and a greasy substance. This was annoying, but the staff did address it. However, after waiting a few minutes, new plates arrived that were ALSO very dirty. We pointed this out again, but the staff scolded us. According to the woman who came to talk to us, this was normal in their restaurant. She explained that this is because lifting two plates with one hand causes the top plate to dip into the food on the bottom plate. 🤮 This is downright disgusting, because these plates are obviously handled by several people before they even reach your table. I work in the hospitality industry myself, and this is not normal practice. It's incompetence, unhygienic, and above all, very lazy. The food was okay; one guest at the table was very pleased with the taste. I myself had a very soggy salad that stopped tasting good halfway through. Fortunately, it wasn't all bad. A different lady than the one we spoke to earlier was very pleasant and kind. She offered to look for a solution and gave us a drink on the house. As you can probably tell from this review, we won't be back after this experience. It wasn't worth the money. Mistakes can happen, of course, and that's no problem. But a bad solution and a big mouth unfortunately ruin the entire hospitality experience.

What a pathetic situation, paying maximum price for minimal food. Plus, we were charged (on receipt) for drinks we didn't consume. This is simply theft! We won't be back.

We stopped in Lemmer for a quick dinner en route. Brasserie no. 14 certainly delivered with fast service and well-prepared Schnitzels (Stroganoff and their signature dish). Seating was not so great close to the kitchen with a lot of traffic by waitresses. They do have a nice terrace and upstairs party room. Prices for the food pretty high, even taking into account recent inflation.

Delicious food! My father and I went here from Twente (June 20, 2025) with Mila my border collie. My father was so enthusiastic about your spare ribs that he would also like to go here for his birthday on August 7 👌🏼👌🏼 That says more than enough! I ordered the dessert twice and not just because I thought it was served so beautifully 😜

We occasionally have a delicious apple and cheesecake breakfast here. The atmosphere is lovely, right on the water.

With a business group we had a wonderful meal at Brasserie No. 14. We started out relaxed on the terrace, with a surprisingly wide selection of non-alcoholic beers — three types in fact, all cold, stylishly served and tasty. The service was genuinely friendly and hospitable, with just the right balance between professional and personal. Unfortunately, one of the starters was forgotten and only arrived at the same time as the main course — and then not quite what was ordered. Too bad, but it was picked up with a smile. No big drama, more of a minor scratch on an otherwise wonderful evening. The dishes were delicious: beautifully presented, carefully prepared and perfectly timed (except for that one starter 😉). We enjoyed the atmosphere, the quality of the food and the relaxed setting. In short: a great place for a tasteful evening — private or business. And we would love to come back!

Wir waren hier am Abend mit Freunden und hatten kurzfristig reserviert. Ein insgesamt sehr junges Team in einem schönen modernen Gastro-Konzept. Die Wartezeiten waren ok, die Speisen durchweg lecker. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Preis-Leistung ist ebenfalls in Ordnung.

Vriendelijke bediening. Spare ribs beetje overgaar maar verder prima te eten. Soep daarentegen erg goed. Al met al ruim voldoende.

Al vaker geweest hier en verbaast ons elke weer hoe lui en weinig oplettend het personeel is. Lang wachten en moet zelf iemand aanspreken.. anders wordt je gewoonweg niet geholpen. Het is niet dat ze te weinig personeel hebben. Meer dan klanten vaak. Koekjes en ijsklontjes bv worden met blote handen in je glas gedaan /aangeraakt en geserveerd . Bizar. Betalen kan alleen aan de kassa… waar is dat nog ..?? Ja de Macdonalds…Tafels worden heel lang niet afgeruimd , zijn vies en kan niet zeggen dat de prijzen nou echt concurrerend zijn… het is ronduit duur voor wat is en wij komen uit Adam en zijn wel wat gewend … Kom op … dit kan echt veel beter…

Being able to eat outside because of the wonderful weather. Were helped immediately when we were seated. Ate pasta and Spare Ribs (spicy). Delicious. Pasta was a lot for my wife. It was a really big plate full. Eating here is highly recommended. At least for what we ate.

Very nice location right on the canal. Well attended but the staff is super quick and attentive. People are happy to give tips. Carpaccio was super tasty with great truffle mayonnaise. And the Schnitzel Bras was the crowning glory. Even the plates were warmed up. I only know that from really good restaurants.

Delicious lunch and dinner dishes and very friendly staff. Unfortunately there is no (disabled) toilet on the ground floor. The municipal toilet across the road was the only option, but the disabled toilet there was closed. A stair lift or pass for the toilet from the municipality would not be an unnecessary luxury for elderly and disabled people like my 87-year-old mother-in-law. She has also indicated this to staff herself.

Tuesday evening dinner with 3 people. Main course took more than 1.5 hours. Bread that was ordered in advance, also forgotten. Even after bread board was picked up, we still had to ask twice for main course. Sauce with main course chicken was sour. Dessert eclair was rock hard. Disappointing. Price - quality: not to be repeated.

Ordered a nice sparerib sandwich, And yes... THIS IS WHAT MEN WANT..., nice thick bread with a tasty sauce then a home-made cole salad and a large amount of meat... yammi together with a perfectly tapped beer......💥👍

The spareribs, very good. The meat fell off the bone and could be separated with a fork. These were the best ribs I've had in a long time. The combination with the popcorn... great. Not enough popcorn! Everyone is very friendly and it was very relaxed sitting there by the canal.

There is a card with information about gluten. Even though I gave it another chance a few times, I now got sick again. Sometimes it went well, but you have to be very alert, croutons in the soup, cookie crumbs on the ice cream, unfortunately you can't "see" everything. Unfortunately not recommended if you have celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Guests without gluten intolerance had a delicious meal.

Cozy new catering facility in Ede. Not a very surprising menu in terms of dishes, but what was prepared was simply very tasty. Service was super good, they regularly checked whether everyone had enough to drink and whether it was to their liking. Atmosphere is great, mainly a younger audience. Great place to go to.
