Slightly better than the other restaurants, but you can't get a table in the evening without a reservation. Large outdoor area, good service.

Excellent service, prompt service, the meat on the burger was good, but the accompaniments were less so (soggy fries, sriracha mayonnaise which, in my opinion, should be replaced by mustard) and quite pricey.

We were really looking forward to mussels!! The cooking liquid for the mussels was a huge disappointment; it had a coconut flavor and red peppers, even though we had ordered the ‘original’ preparation. The kitchen said there was nothing wrong with it..? Subsequently, half of the mussels were not cooked through properly!! The wait staff agreed with us. A waste of the mussels and dangerous to health. As compensation, we received half the money back, but I felt that was only fair considering only half of them were edible (we still paid 30 euros for 1 portion of very poorly prepared mussels). The service was friendly, but ultimately we were hoping to eat tasty mussels, so that experience was a huge letdown! Very unfortunate. Absolutely not recommended if you want to eat mussels!!

Had a delicious meal by the water in Lemmer. Beautiful location and beautiful restaurant. The dishes were superb. The spareribs are highly recommended! The wait staff were a bit less active. Something to keep in mind!

We sat here twice during our boating holiday, on August 5th and 6th. The first time we had a quick drink and then had a truly delicious meal on the terrace! Highly recommended, both the terrace and the service, AND the food and drinks! The second time we went for drinks again; I ordered a cocktail: Amaretto sour. It was definitely not sour, very sweet, but tasty nonetheless. I had almost finished it when the extremely friendly staff brought me a second one, with the message: "Our apologies, we forgot an ingredient. Here is an extra tasty one; naturally, you don't have to pay for the first one!" Now, this might sound logical, but we found it to be a very thoughtful piece of service that many a gastronome could learn a thing or two from. So, thanks! And keep up the good work ;)

Our meat was raw and the food was really very cold; it took a super long time before we got our food. Not worth repeating.

We had the Carpaccio salad. Absolutely delicious!!! The service is friendly and the place is great. Terrace by the water and the interior looks atmospheric too. Highly recommended if you are in Lemmer!!!

My partner's food was okay. Tomato soup and a pulled chicken toastie. However, my Tom Kha Kai soup was completely curdled. The polite and courteous wait staff took the soup back to the kitchen with my comment. The kitchen's response was that the soup always looks curdled and that this is normal for this soup because the whole pot looks like that!! Dear kitchen, you let the soup boil, causing the coconut to curdle; a real chef would know that. Dear kitchen brigade, who lets the soup continue like this……. too shameful for words. I sent the soup back, but you just kept serving it!! Shame on you.

Super service! With my requests (allergy requirements), a suitable solution was sought together. This is what you want and what you can expect from the service! So, I can recommend going here for a bite to eat, even if you have special requests just like me! My compliments to this company and its crew!

Good food, fast service and friendly staff, the steak was very good, the sauce should have been on the plate next to the schnitzel. Now the breading was not crispy at all anymore.

We had a delicious meal. Salmon tartare was perfect. Ricotta with truffle was superb. The spareribs were good and the Thai mussels delicious, but quite pricey. A nice egg white on the side and white wine was okay. Then at 9:45 PM we wanted a double espresso and coffee. UNFORTUNATELY, the coffee machine had already been cleaned. Unbelievable that this is possible, considering the restaurant/brasserie doesn't close until midnight. A shame, a missed opportunity.

It's a real shame that after ordering two drinks at 6 pm, we were completely ignored. I had to get the menu myself from the next table, and after 20 minutes we left. Several employees walked past us multiple times without even looking at us, and some even stood behind us chatting. The neighboring tables were served. Perhaps they have something against "foreigners" or young families.

Everything's fine, except for the prices. Cleverly, the drink prices aren't even listed on the menu.

Broodje Brass is an excellent choice. Located by the water between two bridges. Also very friendly staff who even have time for a personal chat.

I'm a bit conflicted. The food was good, but the portion was more like an appetizer portion. My husband and I each ordered a different dish that cost about the same. He had a huge portion, like everyone else around me. I had a tiny portion of linguine. When I complained, I was told I could have ordered more of the fries, the pasta salad (!), and the carrots that came in small bowls as a side dish (presumably for both of us). But I'm not paying €25 for linguine to then fill up on fries. The server was really helpful and even spoke to the manager about getting me another portion of linguine or a drink as compensation. Very customer-oriented, but ultimately: the side dishes might be appropriate with stuffed chicken legs. Not so much with an Italian pasta dish. If I want fries, I'll order fries.

Well, the review should actually be worse, but overall it was quite good. One thing to be aware of: there are side dishes meant for everyone at the table (pasta salad, carrot salad, fries). I had stuffed chicken thighs, my wife had linguine (pasta). My portion with the (shared) side dishes was great, but my wife's pasta was too small, more like an appetizer. When we mentioned this, the response was: the side dishes are for "everyone" and you can order as much as you like. Okay, you have to know that, but (awkward word :-)), if you order pasta, you don't want fries. The server then offered us either another portion of pasta or complimentary drinks, which was fine. Perhaps they'll change this policy; they understood our point. Overall, the food was very tasty.

Ate there for the first time last weekend. Also for the last time. The medium steak for €31 was served well done. So we sent it back, the waitstaff brought it back and said, "The cook says this is their way of medium done." 😱 She was clearly embarrassed, because we got 4 free beers. The girl who served us all evening was also weird; she kept saying she wanted everyone to go home quickly after dinner, because then she might be able to go home earlier too. You just don't say that to customers 😱 On the positive side: the waitstaff who offered us free beer (or dessert) were friendly, and the carpaccio was tasty too.

Had a delicious meal here. It was almost 4:00 PM, but they didn't make a fuss at all about the lunch menu. You get the best spare ribs here. Had an incredibly tasty meal again on the terrace, and it is easily accessible from the boat.

Nice, cozy place with very friendly staff. We enjoyed the special here: asparagus with salmon. Excellent food of very good quality. The portions are sufficient to fill your stomach. With a bit of luck, you can park on the street at the restaurant (blue zone, 2 hours). We enjoyed ourselves.

The coffee was very weak and diluted with too much water. Unfortunately, we were just as tired as before. A shame. That's why we decided not to eat there. The service was friendly, but one server was quite rude and pressured us to order lunch. The atmosphere is great.

I had never been to the harbor in Lemmer before. A beautiful historic harbor town. In the spring it is still quite manageable, but I expect that in the summer you will be able to walk over the heads of the visitors. Partly for this reason, Brasserie No.14 has a spacious outdoor terrace, and inside there are two floors with seating. Very friendly service. Our dog was allowed to come along. We had a delicious lunch, with fresh mint tea. 😋

Simply a great meal in the evening. A wonderful atmosphere. During the day, outside by the canal, with sunshine and a pleasant terrace and very friendly staff. With excellent ribs and the best capacio I've ever eaten on my many travels around the world. Highly recommended.

They came promptly to take our order, but then it took 45 minutes for us to get our lunch. The food was excellent; I had a trio of carpaccio, soup, and croquette. Delicious, artisanal croquettes, you can definitely taste them. The soup had some (to me) indefinable salty cubes. The carpaccio was also delicious, but the lettuce was under the carpaccio, making the bread a bit soggy. It would have been better on top or on the side, in my opinion. But it was a delicious meal.

It was beyond disappointing; the waitress was inflexible and unfriendly. The children ordered pancakes with Nutella, but we had to wait forever for the Nutella, so the pancakes were already cold. We returned the Nutella twice because it had expired each time. The staff didn't care at all. The Nutella had to be ordered separately, and then they even had the nerve to charge us for it. First and last visit. The next table also had a meal returned to the kitchen...

Very stylish decor! The sweet spare ribs were excellent! Super tender meat that fell off the bone, very meaty ribs with an excellent sauce! Absolutely recommended; I've rarely eaten such good spare ribs!

The food was delicious and the service was great. Because it was the season, everyone was eating outside and the restaurant wasn't that crowded, but everything was kept spotless and clean. I had the schnitzel, and the carefully seasoned batter and the toppings (tomato, mushroom, green onion, etc.) and cheese were perfectly balanced and very delicious. My colleague who went with me ordered the mussels, and she was amazed at the quantity! Every single one was very fresh, firm, and delicious. The location was also great, and we were able to relax and enjoy a delicious meal while looking out at the river. I highly recommend it for a summer vacation.
