The food was delicious. The farmer's schnitzel was excellent: generously sized, crispy, and served with a generous amount of stir-fried vegetables (and bacon bits). The tenderloin steaks my wife ordered were delicious, and the side dishes—salad and fries—were also very tasty. All in all, a wonderful meal for a good price. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I came for a cup of coffee on the terrace. Nice staff, but the latte at 2.60 is a bit different than hoped. Small and watery. I asked if this was actually the wrong coffee and it really was. The latte machiatto (spelling as on the menu) at 3.50 was better in terms of proportions. So a total of 6.10 for a mediocre dish.

Ontzettend lekker gegeten. Hele leuke bediening. We lagen daar met de boot en mochten gebruik maken van hun gigantische eenhoorn in het water. Waar zie je dat nog. Zo gastvrij en goed van vertrouwen. Groeten Jan

Kortestreek 13The food was delicious. I highly recommend the tenderloin with port sauce!! The bread board beforehand was also truly delicious. The Monchou dessert was quite heavy. I would have added a layer of jam under the first layer to give it a bit more flavor. The service was okay, but sometimes it took a very long time for someone to come over, and there was little eye contact to signal, even though it wasn't even busy at the time. Otherwise, it was excellent.

Plattedijk 20AI found the staff very unfriendly. They raised my hand two or three times and were noticed, but they just walked on to other customers. I also found the hygiene on the terrace to be poor. We ordered a bottle of wine and received two dirty glasses and a wine that costs 1.60 on the internet and was 25 euros here. A nice sweet wine, but not rubbish. The food was good.

Douwe Egberts Plein 5A classy "bistro," more like a restaurant. Definitely worth a visit in Joure—and then a quick stop at the ice cream parlor next door. Delicious.
