My sister cannot eat wheat (aka gluten). When we asked the gentleman behind the counter about this, we were met with blank stares. He didn't seem to know what wheat or gluten were. We tried to explain that it was flour, to which the response was "...little flowers...?" Okay, meal then? That wasn't understood either. The gentleman looked questioningly at his colleague, who couldn't tell us anything about it either. The man behind the counter ignored us and went to help the next customer. We gave up hope and went somewhere else. I find it remarkable that a hospitality establishment couldn't tell us anything about gluten, and it even seemed as if they didn't know what it was. The next place had a very proper allergen chart hanging up; so it can be done that way too.

Ordered a Pizza Marjolein. Got to make it myself. 10/10 experience and it tasted delicious too. Highly recommended!

I once came up with the idea for the Simon pizza (a Turkish pizza with two cheese soufflés, similar to the Marjolein pizza) while drunk, and they remembered it immediately. To this day, you can still order it without any further explanation, and in my case, just by walking in and saying nothing. Excellent service and very friendly people. Order came late. Food was incomplete. The 'cheese chicken corn with chili sauce' was delivered without chili sauce. The 'hogweed with sauce' was delivered without sauce and also very burnt.
