Kwalitaria in Wijk 01 West

Closed for six months now. The only snack bar in the immediate area... Will it ever reopen?

Food from Kwalitaria is good - otherwise it wouldn't be called that. But if you want to lose customers, this is how you do it. I understand: high workload, hot and, it seems, far too many online orders. Staff snap at each other and customers. An older lady “just” wanted to order something. That was not the intention. -the lady behind the counter literally said- You have to pass this on in the store via an electronic menu - just like with the Mac. Well fine. In my case, fries & 1 croquette. I had to wait half an hour. A lot of orders are coming in from home. Which are put together with a lot of stress. So EITHER arrange for someone to take care of customers in the (nearby) business, or stop doing that. And then just be an online service - we'll go somewhere else. So no quality service.

Fries were overly salty while this was not indicated with the order.

Sometimes the staff can be short, but you can see that they are really trying their best. That's why I don't take it personally and I'm always satisfied with the food.

The food was delicious, the kapsalon gyros were very tasty :) The staff was also very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommended for a good kapsalon or a tasty snack!

Do you know the thought of thinking of a nice beach at about 35 degrees and enjoying yourself there? I hoped to experience this today with my minced meat ball from the gravy so that I could enjoy it as well. Only I was sorely disappointed by receiving a microwave ball of minced meat that tasted like the rubber soles of my shoe without gravy. What a disappointment this was. Where the gravy was not present, you cannot say that about the fat on the snacks. First came the fat and then the snack. Positive: they had an ordering kiosk What a disappointment this snack bar was, next time I'll have another bowl of fruit

Very friendly people in this business. Outside you could already smell that there was a chip shop, it tasted really good (at our request the fries were fried nice and crispy.) You could order via a column, QR code or personally. Just what you want.

I have never felt discriminated against, but my own people were helped earlier, up to 3 new customers. And very stingy breakfast. From now on towards Rotterdam!! And very expensive

If you are hungry and/or hungry, you should definitely not go to this snack bar. You can wait forever and when you finally get your order it's stone cold!

Good snack bar at a convenient point in the district. The fries and snacks are deliciously crispy (made from fresh oil). The homemade sandwiches are also highly recommended. In addition, the owners and staff are very hospitable and service-oriented.

Excellent food, nice staff and good portions. The only downside when you're inside is that it smells so much like sewer 🤮. That was really less. Otherwise, it looks like a clean affair!

Ordered food at a quarter past 7, at a quarter to 9 it was not there yet. I have already called 6 times with no answer. Finally, at a quarter to 9 someone came on the phone, the tent turned out to be closed, so they had not communicated this properly to their (own) website. Nicely arranged. I'll get my money back, but now I'm HUNGER.

Once again a super nasty atmosphere, with mutual bickering, long faces and zero customer contact. Why are they always so stressed?

The owner and staff behind the counter were snapping at each other a lot. A little boy, maybe 10 years old, who came to pick up an order was also turned away when he didn't understand that the next order was not for him and asked for something. Really rude. I don't think I'll come back here again.

Didn't get paid. Terrible Boss treats staff very poorly. And don't pay How is this possible? Hi, I worked at this (snack bar) for two evenings. I worked in the winter so it was very cold, so I worked until 10 o'clock two evenings in a row. After delivering in the cold, as a new employee I had to mop the whole place. It was not yet certain whether I wanted to continue working here, so they were trial days. It was made clear to me in advance that I and a friend would both get paid. My friend has been paid, but unfortunately the boss did not pay the agreed salary. I didn't get paid at all next door, I followed up on this later. I texted and called several times to get paid. There was no serious response to my paps and after a while I got no response at all. Then I started calling the restaurant because I no longer received a response but I wanted to get my money paid. The boss told me that I should come the next day and would get 20 euros and if I didn't I wouldn't get any money. So I was told it or me Collect money the next day or that I was given and that there was no other option. I was going on vacation the next day so I couldn't be there that next day. I mentioned this during our telephone conversation, the boss then said “yes, then it is no different, it is either tomorrow or not. I told her again that I couldn't come. While I was telling this I was suddenly hung up on, I immediately called again several times but was constantly hung up on. It's now 3 months later and I have had no contact because I was treated poorly by this childish boss. I certainly do not recommend that you eat here and certainly not that you work here. You don't even get paid if you work hard for the boss two nights in a row, cycling through the city at -4 and then mopping the place. Terrible company

Very good quality, the owner David is a very friendly man with quite a passion for his business. Really a hard worker. The fries were also fried in new frying fat, which you could really taste because the fries were nice and crispy. Highly recommended to come!

I can't describe this place as anything less than perfect. The croquette, cheese soufle, and fries that I ordered were all wonderfully crispy and delicious. In addition, the gentlemen behind the counter, David and Alex, were very hospitable and very helpful. All in all, top quality, I will definitely come back here

They don't put salt on the fries as standard and sometimes forget to add it if you specifically ask for it. When there is stress, people do not become friendlier there. Especially not to the staff.

The owner is over-stressed and aggressive. Recently threw a cutting board through the store because he had an argument with a female employee. Good for the "juice" but this is really not possible. In addition, the place is dirty and the food is not tasty.

Dramatic service! We order a single burger for almost 10!!! Euro. Would have grilled peppers on it. Consumed exactly 1 piece. Then I ask for some extra grilled peppers and I get a strange look and the male employee just walks away. Then we walked to the counter to ask about the peppers. Then we got the pepper, see the photos!! Never go there again, what a rude, rotten place!

As a former employee almost 10 years ago, I still always see reactions that David (owner) shouts at his staff. Best man even wanted to withhold wages if we did something wrong or something like that, while the best man can't even keep his business in order or train people properly. You're a jerk David, apparently you still are!

The owner was very hospitable and sells the tastiest roti croquette, highly recommended to eat there. Big 5⭐

Very strange experience. I've never had fries from this snack bar before, only had them delivered once (I didn't necessarily have any complaints at the time, but I wasn't necessarily amazed by the place either). Atmosphere was very uncomfortable. The lady behind the counter seemed both overworked or overstimulated and just plain weird/a drama queen. She was always whining very loudly and making comments to her colleague who was not doing things right or was getting in the way, according to her, and she had to do everything herself, or something. Later, half in his coat from the delivery, an older man (presumably the owner) also came to help, but she was also unfriendly to that. The man in question later said bluntly to customers: yes, if you want to come to work, you can! Very strange atmosphere in any case. Quickly brought the fries and thank you kindly. It was fine in itself, it got cold quickly, but it could still be due to the weather. There was no salt in it, but that could still be remedied. Hope they change the working atmosphere quickly, not very customer friendly.

Great snack bar for a quick lunch...

Ordered and delivered by an angry aggressive man after being called several times with a rude tone because the gentleman could not find our house. The gentleman also blamed me. Downright rude. Thanks for the cold food

Only snack bar in the area so been there a few times now. Every time you pay, you spend more than expected because the prices differ from the menus. Furthermore, the management staff is very customer unfriendly. Unfortunately, the food doesn't make up for this experience either.

Very bad snack bar! On Thursday, the owner David charges €5 for a family bag of fries, the following Tuesday it is €7.80 for the same family bag! That's as far as serving me a rotten croquette! Varying quality, often bad weak fries and everything comes from old fat, you can taste this!. Nasty owners, the young staff are treated poorly. Not good advertising for all Kwalitaria companies that are good.

Fries have good color and taste. Satay sauce is tasty. Unfortunately, it has happened several times that the order seemed incomplete when we returned home.

Old man is very grumpy to his young staff. There is always shouting at each other or there is a very nasty atmosphere. That man is not customer friendly either. It's better to go to the snack bar on Herderplein.

Top cafeteria. Everything well done, good range and the tent itself is very clean!

They had given me the wrong burger, which was then resolved quickly and efficiently and in a very timely manner.

The fries are brown, fried too long. Either it is old frying fat or they have been in it for too long. They are soaked in it. Definitely not recommended!

The boss is very unfriendly to his young staff. Probably not happy with himself. Remember I pointed that out to him a while back. Quality is otherwise fine. I really felt sorry for a young lad who just started working there. He barked at him in front of customers. Really too bad for words.

Ordered by telephone, order was ready at the stated time (and was still warm). Two fries and four snacks for 18 euros, quite expensive. Once home, the order turned out to have been taken incorrectly, five snacks and the wrong one, quality is fine but not in proportion to the price. Because of this last point, next time a 'normal' cafeteria instead of this 'quality one'.

Quality is good, but you also pay a lot for it.

Food is very good. Fries of good color. Satay sauce delicious. Burgers perfectly prepared and with some aluminum foil on top they stayed warm on the way home (never experienced this at other cafeterias, not even when ordering from home.) It's a shame that the owner is constantly snapping at his staff. Don't know if that's always the case... (?) Edit, 2 months later: nice atmosphere today :)

Often waiting a very long time for your food (last time 45 minutes!!) and then also receiving the wrong stuff. We won't be going here again after a few disappointing attempts.

Don't come here, they can't even normally supply fries for 2 people. For that money you could better go to happy corner or the quali on the green road. Poor management too and can barely keep staff.

Very Expensive & Super Customer Unfriendly! I order a family bag of fries twice on different days, once for 5 euros, the other time for 7.80? Same quantity of fries (the gentleman simply clicked on 4 fries)! So I say a bit expensive, 8 euros for fries? Responds angrily: you pay for quality fresh oil, fresh products, well-maintained equipment? blabla...(I don't think it's more logical than that everything is fresh and well maintained if your name is KWALITARIA!!) Anyway.....Then you say something to the owner about the fact that you first have 5 euros and then 7.80 for a family bag of fries and he says: Well then you won't come here anymore, find out!! I will NOT go there again... Drive a little further!
