The steak was good, but the salmon fillet sauce was too salty, so be careful. The burger was so-so, basically standard American food. When I asked for tap water, the waiter didn't come.

Food and service are average. Ordered steak and asked the waiter whether it comes with fries. The waiter said it doesn't but it did come with fries which ended up me ordering an extra side dish. Only the atmosphere is a plus point for this place.

We went there on a whim. A fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere. Friendly service and very good food. All at a fair price. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back!

What a wonderful experience at Brooklyn! From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. The staff is attentive, professional, and hospitable. The food was delicious. Drinks were also served quickly. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!

Great food, good price, nice service, would go again

Every time we visit Scheveningen, we eat delicious burgers at Brooklyn's, and the quality has been excellent for years. We'll definitely be back next year.

The Brooklyn Lady burger is definitely too small for women. I found the sauce on the spareribs too overpowering. The atmosphere is cozy and they play nice music.

The food was really not great: cold burger, ground beef that didn't resemble beef at all, and white fries. Thankfully, the service was friendly and they offered a discount. The live music was pleasant.

A nice place, three interconnected restaurants with one large, nicely designed space. Brooklyn is the middle one. The food was fine, but not outstanding. We enjoyed our meal, but it wasn't anything special. For example, the prawns were flavorful, but cooked a bit too long, making them a bit tough. The marinade on the spareribs was superb, but the meat was difficult to remove from the bone. According to the menu, they're slow-cooked, but I don't think they're cooked for very long. The steaks, on the other hand, were excellent. Something went wrong with every course, but we didn't mind. There was also live music next door (in the same space), which was surprisingly enjoyable and got people dancing. Despite the food, we would still go back, as the atmosphere and staff were fantastic!

All the dishes have French fries… lots of them! But some of them are undercooked! We ordered fish, mackerel, and it was terrible! It was over-salted, the oil was dripping off... The atmosphere was fantastic! The food was the complete opposite!

Fish burger is awesome. Roasted mackerel is awful, though.

During our Friday night getaway to Scheveningen, we had a delicious meal here before watching "Frozen." We had drinks here again that evening and were pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere and the "Dancing Locals"! Our daughters loved it! ;-)

Our steaks were cooked to perfection, very nice meat with delicious fries and salad... it was very good... The waiter was very friendly...

If this is supposed to be a good burger, then I don't want to know what a bad one tastes like. I ordered a Brooklyn Burger, as the place is called, and the large one. Look at the pictures, it explains everything. I had to hunt for the patties; two small ones were hidden somewhere, overcooked, cold, the bacon wasn't crispy, totally unappetizing...

We had a nice breakfast here, staff was great.

The „Lady Steak“ was very tasty!! Our table was right by a fire, and was therefore really comfortable :)

I had the „New York Strip Entrecôte” today. It came with cooked vegetables, fries with mayonnaise as well as a coleslaw salad which surprisingly had some raisins in it. The food was really great: The steak was on point, the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the coleslaw and the vegetables were really tasty, too! We were seated after no wait next to a fireplace. Also the staff were really friendly!! Overall a great experience! I totally recommend this place!

I'ts several restaurants under one roof, looks like one big restaurant. Got my starter with the rest of my order, veggies were pre-made so couldn't do without any salt in it, two burgers instead of one 200gram burger felt like these were pre-made as well. Nobody came back to ask of everything was ok. Definitely wouldn't say this is a horrible place, but it's not the best I've been for a burger.

The meal was very good. It was delicious. I'd go back anytime. I had a lady's steak. Perfectly cooked.

Friendly service in a deserted restaurant (it was a rainy Thursday in September, but still). We had a tournedos and a pork tenderloin, both bone dry. I think they were prepared earlier and kept warm. Furthermore, the restaurant has seen better days. Much of the lighting is out of order, and it's all a bit dingy.

Great place for good food and drinks

Shortly after 5 p.m. on a weekday, it wasn't busy yet, but there were only two people serving. Nevertheless, the two were very friendly, attentive, and quick. We had burgers and ribs, both very tasty. The price was okay, a little more expensive than at home, of course, but no more than usual at a vacation spot.

We ordered burgers with fries and spare ribs. Everything was decent, but nothing special. The fries were tasty but unfortunately cold. The burgers were made with pre-made patties. The ribs were tender but not very tasty. The prices, however, were high. The service and atmosphere were good. We wouldn't come back.

Way too expensive! €25 for 100 grams of salmon fillet and some vegetables? €30+ for barely enough to fill you up. Don't let them rip you off.

A very nice, atmospheric restaurant on the pedestrian street in Scheveningen. I recommend visiting and trying the delicious burgers. I also recommend the drinks, although I didn't drink any alcohol. They were great.

Friendly atmosphere, I had the Dutch rib-eye steak which was good with fries. The service is not very quick to improve.

It tasted so delicious, I had the lady steak, my husband had spare ribs, simply the best meal of this vacation.

Ate here for the first and last time today. The initial waiter who served us was lovely, very friendly, helpful and a credit to the restaurant but after that it went downhill. I ordered the wagyu burger and when it arrived the burger was warm, not hot and definitely not fresh and tasted cheap. The salad looked like it had spent the day relaxing on the terrace enjoying the sun. When we asked for the bill I asked to speak to someone about the food quality and when the shift manager arrived she was instantly defensive. Questioning why I’d waited so long to complain and if it was that bad why was one plate almost finished (my husbands burger was ok, he had the chefs burger). In the end the wagyu burger was taking off the bill and I was appreciative of that but overall I’d avoid this place. Go to McDonald’s down the road, you’ll get better food and service.

The staff on the terrace were so friendly and kept checking to see if I needed anything. I ordered spare ribs and a Greek salad, which were generous and delicious.

A bagel with egg and bacon...what could possibly go wrong? Well, the bun (really old and not a real bagel), the egg, and the bacon (neither cooked through). Luckily, it only costs €2.95, but you can make it better at home. No, this was the first and last time.

Steaks meat quality was good, were cooked Medium as requested but not really grilled with a crust. Veggies were good. Cole slaw was good. Pepper Sauce without Pepper corns. Fries were good but not excellence.

Lotte was lovely, we had 2 wonderful steaks with pepper sauce which came with vegetables and potatoes Dauphinois. When we were sitting inside as the weather was a bit cloudy, suddenly a huge rainstorm came out of nowhere and Lotte and the team swiftly packed up the outdoors pillows, getting completely drenched, which - sorry to say - was quite entertaining. Luckily they had a change of clothes ready. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Our waitress was super super unfriendly. Barely looked at us. The Burger was good. The fries okay. The food came very fast!

We had a lovely meal with a group of 14. Service was fast and the food was delicious. The live music was a bit loud, and without air conditioning, it was unfortunately sweltering inside. After dinner, we escaped to a terrace by the sea to cool off.

Out of all the restaurants here, skip this one. Nachos were good (13 euros tho) but the burgers is not worth it, no pickles and no tomato but random salsa instead. Fries with no salt and not fully done which made them soft immediately Both the mayonnaise and ketchup tasted really weird, and the pictured dry ”coleslaw” with raisins in a hamster bowl, was a bit random. I asked for TAP water and they charged us 3.50 euros for 200ml! 200????, that’s not even a can Not without in my book :)

Leuke locatie, m’n vrouw en zoon vonden de kibbeling lekker, m’n schoondochter vindt de spareribs ook lekker. Ik had de calamaris. Ik vond de calamaris verschrikkelijk. Friendly staff. I'm pregnant and ordered a salmon fillet, which was cooked perfectly. I had some questions about the aioli, and the waitress took great care to look up what it contained. Fast service and delicious food. Compliments to the chef! Great atmosphere too!

I visited this city as a tourist with my girlfriend and have been to several restaurants like this one, but I wanted to leave a few comments for future visitors. While I enjoyed the view and the food, unfortunately, I can't say the same about the service or customer service. We weren't notified that the food we ordered was delayed, and unless you ask about its status, the timing of your food is entirely a matter of luck.

We had lunch at Reustoran today and were absolutely delighted! The food was not only delicious but also fresh and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was cozy. We would especially like to thank our waitress Vika for her excellent service and for helping us choose the perfect cocktails. We’ll definitely be coming back and can highly recommend this place!

I'll start with the good and end my review with the bad. The service was impeccable, fast (about 40% full at the time), and friendly. The location is inviting, well-decorated, and right by the food stand. The food, or rather mine: Burger Boy's (400g): The bun was unfortunately very dry, too little cheese (which could have made it juicier), and rather tasteless. There was also a thick piece of gristle in the burger... from there, unfortunately, it was impossible to eat. My better half had a steak, which was okay, but unfortunately a bit tough.

We were here with our two small children, and it was absolutely delicious. A great atmosphere with modern background music. It's a great location on the promenade. Above all, the staff were really very accommodating and super friendly. My daughter accidentally spilled her drink – they immediately wiped it up, and we got a new one on the house. Totally friendly! Payment is possible with cash or card. We'd be happy to come back.

My boyfriend and I were there on May 31st, after Ascension Day. He ordered fries on schnitzel. I ordered a salad with chicken pieces. My salad and the chicken were very good. The schnitzel had a very fatty cheese sauce, which was probably too old and rancid. I tried some of that, too. It was our last meal of the evening. My boyfriend felt nauseous during the night, vomited the next morning, and a few more times later. I felt severely nauseous on Monday, but luckily didn't vomit. It could only have been this dish because it was shortly afterward, and we can't connect it to any other context. We urge the restaurant to regularly check their food for expiration dates and not skimp on products; please try some of it ourselves. Thank you. We suffered from nausea for three days. Update: At the restaurant's request, I checked my receipt. It is definitely the Brooklyn. I also remember the outside sign that said "Brooklyn" very well. I'm sorry.

We had breakfast here. We got a different dish than ordered. The service consisted of one person. It was really impossible for one man. Inside it was completely full of dirty tables. People outside had to wait a very long time for their drinks. Big mistake of the management to cut back on staff like this.

I had high expectations given their beautiful website and impression from the outside. The food was not bad but not very special either. The burger consisted of 2 small (stacked) hamburgers and sauce was not very special. Actually a burger that you could also make at home. The spareribs reminded me of supermarket spareribs. The children were not completely finished yet. In the meantime I did not see any of the staff either. The atmosphere is good. Beautiful location, beautiful surroundings and it looks cozy. The staff seemed a bit bored but it was not very busy. All in all it was okay, but I would not go back here.

Beautiful location, right by the sea. We ate there on vacation, and overall the food was delicious and good. However, it was a bit of a shame that the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and at times unmotivated, even though the place wasn't even half full. We were also told at first that we could sit anywhere - chose a seat and put everything down, and then a waiter came running over and called out twice that the area was closed and we should sit somewhere else, even though nothing was obviously closed there. All the guests looked at us when we called out, which was a bit unpleasant. You also had to actively look for the waiters, but once they were at the table, they were really friendly, welcoming, and responsive to your requests. The food arrived quickly, was hot, and delicious, but unfortunately a bit expensive for the portion you get. Ultimately, we were still satisfied; the meat was very tasty, and there were also vegetarian options on the menu!

Very good burgers on the beach! The fries were perfectly cooked and came unseasoned so you could season to your preference. The atmosphere feels very western (American style) so if you’re missing home, this is the place to visit.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at BROOKLYN Burgers & Steaks, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was not only delicious, but the service was also exceptionally friendly and attentive. A special thank you to the team for finding and safely keeping our camera after we accidentally left it at the restaurant. We were able to retrieve it, intact, after three weeks. This honest and caring gesture shows how much they value customer satisfaction. To our surprise, we were also invited for a drink as a thank you, which perfectly rounded off our evening. Such hospitality is rare and greatly appreciated. We highly recommend BROOKLYN Burgers & Steaks to anyone looking to enjoy not only great food but also outstanding service. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Delicious meat, good service, live music, a very pleasant atmosphere and right on the beach... we loved it.

Perfect place, nice decor, good service, first class fries, burger in my top 5...........of worst burger ever that had barely touched the grill plate and (probably) warmed up in the microwave. Wilted lettuce leaf with unsavory chopped cabbage. A chef needs a refresher course at a real cooking school.

We had a delicious drink and meal here! We were there on a Monday and it was pleasantly busy. The service is great! Neat and they like to go the extra mile. The food was delicious too! And the prices are not too bad for Scheveningen! Highly recommended!

Had lunch here. Affordable and sufficient choice on the menu. Fast service at the table and the food was neatly presented on pre-cleaned tables. No Dutch employees in the service, but they speak good Dutch. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a leash. No idea what it is like here in the summer months when it is busy. (visited mid-February)

We arrived at a quarter past 5, we came in and at 5:30 we still didn't have our food, we had to wait more than an hour and it was not busy and the people in front of us who came in got our food before us, shame, shitty place, we will never eat there again and then only English people work there who won and work in the Netherlands, just talk Dutch pf salt to your own country, we left after an hour and paid for our drinks and sandwich and left the first time it was so good and tasty and now in and in sad

Good food comes with the American style good job

The breakfast is horrible, especially the Brooklyn sandwich, 2 pieces of bread not even toasted with one piece of raw meat and the rest just whatever rest of food they found from yesterday. Better don't put in the menu if you don't know how to cook a proper sandwich.

Gezellig sfeer maar er is ruimte voor verbetering. Helaas had mijn entrecote een spier in het vlees, dat is niet zichtbaar voor de kok. Werd keurig geregeld en gecompenseerd. Eten is kwalitatief redelijk en niet bijzonder qua smaken. Hoewel we een leuke avond hadden mede door live muziek, het advies meer aandacht aan het eten te besteden. Bediening moet ondanks supervriendelijk beter opletten of je glas leeg is. Ze werken langs elkaar heen is de indruk. Leuke zaak qua locatie en sfeer. Toch een voldoende vanwege hoe goed ze het hebben opgelost.
