Deze plek is helemaal niet kindvriendelijk. De serveersters waren aardig, maar niet de manager. Het eten was ok. We komen niet terug.

One beautiful and spacious restaurant with good food and drinks

A brioche sandwich with a moderately poached egg for more than 13 euros. Way too expensive. Ambiance is nice.

With the family we decided to have lunch at Dudok. Only when my carpaccio sandwich was served, I found the price disproportionate to the quantity. I thought it was really absurd to charge €13.75/€14.75 for one sandwich, even if it was luxurious toppings. To feel satisfied I had to eat with my partner. Not okay. I hope you will do something with this feedback.

Comida deliciosa con amigos. Tanto la hamburguesa como el bacalao estaban muy ricos. El postre (tarta de manzana) estaba delicioso.

old-fashioned atmosphere, really old decor. I had the beouf bourginon and the taste was good, but very dry, not enough sauce. the potatoes were also dry. Shame.

Every time you wait way too long to please place your order. Even if you walk up to the waiter, they don't come right away, nope, then there is another colleague who comes to take the order. So wait again. And then the prices? Ridiculously high. It was really the last time for us.

Delicious cakes, great building, beautiful location, but the service was disappointing. We got the feeling that we had to hurry even though less than half of the places were occupied. If you had something to eat, it was immediately taken away. Even though the other was still eating and drinking.

We ordered it for 12 hours, but it was a bit disappointing with a croquette sandwich and a sandwich with some egg salad and a cup of soup. I've had better food elsewhere.

The service is generally good, even during busy times. However, due to the crowds and the large number of tables, personal attention for business and private customers can sometimes fall short. This can lead to a feeling of impersonality.

Had a delicious meal at Dudok. For dessert we had an apple pie with apple pie ice cream and whipped cream.

I'm here because my husband honors traditions. And it is one of the few large and yet beautiful places. I didn't think the benches looked neat and the table was sticky. I wonder if the coffee is okay. And the cake because it's my husband's birthday. We'll go somewhere else for the rest of the year Hahaha. Well the coffee was decent and the cake was not.

Unfortunately, upon arrival we had to wait quite a while before we were assigned a table. Once we were seated it again took quite some time before we were noticed and helped. It seemed as if the staff were mainly concerned with constantly rearranging the tables, causing the attention for the guests themselves to fade into the background. As for the cake: it was definitely tasty, but not exceptional. Although the quality was fine, it lacked that little something extra to be truly impressive.

Lovely red velvet cake, chai latte and pinot grigio. The boys at work were nice and funny too. I am not the biggest fan of the indistrial/non-cozy look of the restaurant though. Will visit again.

I found it with a very nice ambience , big clean and a good place for big groups too.

First asked a waiter if we could get some macha latets. If he didn't know, he went to ask. Not seen again. Then ordered tea and twice the vegan apple pie from another waiter. Quite high expectations, this Dudok even has a separate pastisserie in the building. What we got were two ice cold, watery pieces of cake. Rarely have I tasted such unappetizing apple pie. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he said that the vegan cake had been used up the day before and that the new one had apparently not completely defrosted yet. Just charged at 5.50 each. Scandalous.

The food was okay. The service really bad. We had to wait a very long time several times before someone came. Staff not attentive...saying "sorry". It wasn't busy. In the courtyard only dirty tables and a dirty floor at 12 noon.

I didn’t order much from the menu—just an iced latte and a warm apple tart—but both were delicious. With a good book and dry weather, sitting outside made the atmosphere even more comfortable. The people were so warm, loving, and friendly. 😊 💫

We were there for breakfast. The croissants were very tasty, as was the apple pie. We wanted to go back the next morning, but unfortunately they didn't open until 10 a.m. due to a lack of staff. You could have hung a sign on the door and not left the customers standing there for a quarter of an hour until someone came out and let you know.

Vergane glorie. Bediening was leuk en spontaan. Vandaag en onze bediening dan.. Broodjes viel tegen qua presentatie en smaak. We hadden een uitsmijter en een broodje carpaccio. Broodje carpaccio is 1 dikke snee brood met daarop precies passend de carpaccio. De uitsmijter ham kaas was snel koud omdat de ham en kaas te koud eronder lag en niet meegebakken was. Waar ik voorheen lunchen een feestje vond bij Dudok was het nu echt een teleurstelling.

Shuts down take away 20 min before closing time and not helpful in general within communication.

Can't be impressed with Dudok because the staff doesn't pay attention to new customers and tables are wiped clean with a cloth, leaving all the crumbs etc on the floor, it all looked dingy. There are much better things in the immediate area. I asked myself if I could pay, eye contact was not possible.

After waiting outside for 10 minutes, I went inside to ask if you had to order yourself, but I was immediately asked to pay. I asked you to come outside too, oh yes, I will have a look. Someone will come to take the order, a capuchino, homemade tea, carrot cake and apple pie. It is brought, no sugar, back inside to ask, is told, there is sugar in the container behind the menu, but not. Apple pie was not fresh, the rest was good. Think about spending a little more money because then it will be well organized and tasty. It's a shame that things are like this these days, there is no interest in the guests, it was always so friendly, we are looking further.

The atmosphere is less cosy after the book shelves were removed to give way for more tables and chairs for dining. Greedy! Now it's just like any other cafe. What's the point?

It says closing at 20:00, but at 18:20 we already couldn’t order any food or even drinks there. Very disappointing.

Great cafe for working and meeting, only downside is there's no wall socket.

Beste, Wie dit heeft verzonnen verkeerde blijkbaar in een gedachteloosheid van ongekende omvang! Voor het lezen of werken is nodig dat concentratie op de eerste plaats komt. Dit was het geval in de vorige situatie! Nu is de leestafel geplaatst bij de keuken en de ingang van de evenementen. Dit zorgt voor veel herrie en beweging. De leestafel is al lange tijd het hart van Dudok en moet daarom zorgvuldig behandeld worden! Ik vind het storend dat er zo wordt omgegaan met het "Parlementair Café". Niet elke verandering is een verbetering! Ik heb gesproken met meerdere gebruikers van de leestafel, die hetzelfde ervaren. Wees wijs en herstel de voormalige situatie. U groetend Rein de Ruiter.

I have no idea why this place is so poorly rated. Very large, food variety is great and food is tasty, ice-cream too, coffee as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a kid-corner... 10/10 👌

We wanted to have lunch outside with this lovely sun. The waitress was friendly and helpful and showed us the garden that was open. Oops… here came the manager. Unfortunately we were allowed to spend our money at DUDOK but not sit outside. Bye bye Dudok.

Nice place for lunch. Although there is a bit of a sewage smell at the entrance. Pity. Through the toilets you can see that it is an older building. Delicious food.

A quiet place where you can have a coffee reading newspapers, magazines There is space for conversation or dinner.

I really like all the dudok locations. They have the basic food that everyone likes and their apple pie with whipped creme and cinammon ice cream is to die for. This also looks like a pleasant place to study.

Wilde heel simpel ijsje halen bij de ijsbalie naast de ingang. Een meisje hielp een man met twee kinderen. Ze was niet in staat om gewoonweg twee hoorntjes met ijs te vullen . Kon niet ijs scheppen en twee bolletjes op elkaar doen. Toen ik dat gestuntel zag ben ik weg gelopen en bij een verderop gelegen concurrent mijn heerlijke ijsje gehaald. .

In an almost empty restaurant, the servers walk around looking bored. But they don't take orders. And if they do take away an order, they make you wait forever until you give up and walk away.

Excellent food. Very polite staff. Nice atmosphere.

Nice place in a nice location, reasonable food. With a nice terrace.

Unfortunately, less satisfied with the food. We ordered 1x farmer's omelette and got a fried egg with some kind of salad with two separate slices of bread, so no farmer's omelette as you would expect. And ordered 1x poached egg, spinach and salmon with hollandaise sauce poured over it on brioche bread, unfortunately not tasty either. I told the lady beforehand that I didn't want a large piece of bread, she said that wouldn't be it. The brioche was a large round loaf, so I didn't eat it. For us, Dudok is not what it used to be and we won't be seeing them again anytime soon, which is a shame...

This is a great place if you want to see mice while having food or drinks, otherwise don't bother the service is "American styled" with the server rushing you out of the table before you are finished but without any friendly faces! The cakes are great though.

Even though it was busy, we were served quickly. Coffee and pastries were delicious and the staff extremely friendly. Excellent price, the room is nicely decorated and located in an ideal location. I'll definitely return.

I visited the cafe with my friend in the morning at last week of 2023. I ate "appeltaart met slagroom" as this is popular in Dudok and also traditional food in the Netherlands. It was nicely calm in the morning yet it became crowded at noon. I sometimes recall the taste of appeltaart after returning to my home country. Thank the place being open until late December!

Great meal. Good price/quality ratio. I didn't like the atmosphere a bit. A very large hall, which made it a bit noisy.

I often read here that the staff is not really satisfactory, in my opinion this is very simplistic ;-) Despite the workload, difficult to find staff and therefore constantly changing staff, it is actually a great place to stay, nothing wrong with that . They are nice, helpful and yep, sometimes you have to wait a while or they get a little lost. I would say if you have time to spare if you are over 50 or perhaps retired, work a regular day at Dudok and help them find staff. It is really becoming a problem, you hire them and the next week they are with your competitor for a better salary. The prices: at 4 euros for a coffee, they are on the high side, but anyone who thinks a little will understand how this came about. **A real disadvantage of this location: the terrible acoustics! There is no such thing as a bathroom or swimming pool. You assume that it has been thought about after various complaints. And the solution is simply to stick acoustic material under your tables and chairs and cover all pillars with acoustic cloth. Even exists in the color beige ;-)! An aging population creates a burden on the elderly and the elderly hate poor acoustic spaces, simply because their ears become more sensitive to excessively unnecessary catering noise as they get older due to deafness. Every entrepreneur really needs to know this and act on it (commercially) to get ahead of his competitor! The new fashion in the catering industry is (was) GALM and NOISE! So when I arrive and I see that it is busy, I immediately turn around and walk to "De Boekstore" opposite the work palace. Lots of books, lots of wood and some dust here and there, which absorbs the reverberation, making it very quiet for the ears. Have you heard the management of Dudok, are the complaints about the "catering" noise now being heard? This problem is often reported and I'm not the only one. Nice tent, enjoy coming there, but for God's sake, do something about the acoustics! Still, I give Dudok a ten!! Especially now, where the aging population is increasing and complaining about staff is out of date.

this is really one of the better places to eat, good food and certainly good the place is opposite the 2nd room, the view is of course less because the renovation site is being renovated, the place looks nice, the toilet is less fun, tap for washing your hands the food is very good, reasonable price,

Delicious coffee and cake! Nicely decorated for Easter!

Wat was dit vies en overpriced! Zelden zoiets gegeten - recht uit de supermarkt op je bord. Geen kok in dienst maar alleen een magnetron?

Just as you go to Maison Kelder for hazelnut meringue pie, and to Hema for smoked sausage and tompouces, you go to DUDOK, opposite Het Binnenhof, for the tastiest apple pie. Not only can you enjoy the apple point, you can also enjoy the interior. For example, wash your hands in the toilet (sorry gentlemen ;-) Tapered like taps. How nice is that?

Went to Dudok for the first time and had a High Tea. Pleasantly surprised! All High Tea dishes were prepared with care and very tasty. Good, extensive variety in sweet/savory and hot/cold. A wide choice of different types of tea and coffee was also possible. Good price/quality ratio. Excellent service: friendly, everything neat at the agreed time and an explanation of the dishes. In short, highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a good High Tea!

The food at Dudok remains delicious, but the prices have become so ridiculously high that they can no longer be justified. Service was really not good unfortunately, dishes arrived even before the drinks, and not at the same time. Half the table is then waiting to eat, very annoying. It also seems like they just don't like you...

Super nice staff, helped with the choice, available in English and Dutch, recommended is the Dudok apple pie, super fresh! Authentic taste!

It says that they are open until 10 p.m. on Saturdays, but at 9 p.m. you can no longer go for coffee and a cake and the last round has already passed. Shame!!

Who doesn't know Dudok! What more needs to be said about that? Well, that they still live up to the good name they have. In terms of ambiance, friendliness and quality of the refreshments. With the added attraction of their nostalgic toilets 🙂

Sunday. A barking dog inside. 1 large echoing hall where you cannot normally hear your conversation partner, we left after a long wait and much too expensive coffee. The service completely ignored us, only after 15 minutes did someone come and ask what we wanted to drink, while the neighboring table, which they knew, was helped immediately. No more Dudok for us.

We wanted to have a nice coffee with 8 people, but the staff didn't let us in because they couldn't handle a large group 😳

Rude and indifferent staff. Upon entering we were not greeted back, but were asked unfriendly whether we had made a reservation. Presumably by a manager (bald man in black shirt). We had to go out of our way to order something and later even to pay. We didn't feel welcome at all. Lousy staff and management.

I always enjoyed having a pastry here in the evenings, but I now have a bad experience at Dudok, we were not helped when we sat down. After some time we had to tap someone, and then the waitress sighed and rolled her eyes. we didn't really feel welcome unfortunately…

Always had good experiences in the past. In recent years it has been disappointing, poor service. Not necessarily unfriendly, just slow and things take a very long time. Already received lukewarm drinks twice, cappuccino and hot chocolate, sent back and lukewarm again. Apple pie remains very good. Wouldn't recommend sitting here.

The staff is extremely slow. We waited more than half an hour for the order and half an hour to pay. I won't come back ever.

Always room and always nice. Although a large place, it is pleasant to stay at Dudok. Good coffee and tea and of course the hit: apple pie. Perfect place to take your foreign friends for this Dutch delicacy. Also great for a working lunch or a meeting. Nice wines on the menu.

This is a lovely location with super tasty cakes but the staff is unacceptable. We were a large party and they basically told us we can’t sit anywhere even though there was a lot of space. They didn’t even pretend to try and accommodate us. In the end we figured out a solution ourselves and sat anyway but for the entire experience we felt that they didn’t want us to be there. This is the second time I go to this place and my first experience was similar. Great food, horrible service.

Atmospheric, fun, good service and delicious apple pie and lunch!

Visited with four people for lunch. The meal was really good. The service less so. After arriving we waited a long time before someone came to us to show us a table. While 2 ladies from the service were talking to each other 3 meters away. We had to wait a long time before we could order and then wait a long time again before we could pay. Moreover, the staff does not really show that they are looking forward to having a fun day. It seems a bit like the guest is actually too much. We've been here several times now. Unfortunately, the behavior of the staff is only getting worse. Really wanted to give it a chance because I think this is just it. Let's just ignore this matter for now.

Kom er niet zo vaak i.v.m. de akoestiek. Door weerkaatsing van geluid is er veel herrie, wat een goed gesprek enigszins bemoeilijkt.

Fijn restaurant er is altijd wel een tafel vrij.

Zeer mooie omgeving om iets te eten en te drinken. Natuurlijk bekend om zijn heerlijke gebak maar lunch is ook uitstekend. Vriendelijke bediening. Een aanrader als je een dagje Den Haag doet

Petite pause gourmande et au chaud ! J'y suis allée pour un petit déjeuner. Endroit bien situé, en plein centre, proche du Passage couvert, des rues commerçantes et des musées.

Zowel het brood, de kroketten of de salade, alles smaakt heerlijk.
