I joined my friends much later and had already eaten something; I was planning to eat half a pizza... ended up finishing the whole pizza😬 This is entirely thanks to the chef's specialty👍

The pizzeria is comfortably furnished and the pizzas are delicious. You can pay with cash or debit card. EC and credit cards are not accepted.

Food is okay, service is not great, taking initiative is probably the motto, interior severely outdated, with questionable power outlets.

The pizza was very expensive. €15 for a very, very thin crust. The owner was wearing a filthy shirt and was very unkempt. Not recommended.

A household name in the heart of The Hague on Korte Poten since 1979 (!!!!) Eat a delicious pizza, pasta, or lasagna, just like we did tonight Welcoming, tasty, and….they have air conditioning!!! The food was delicious. Even though we were a large group (20 people), the food arrived quickly (20 minutes) and all at the same time.

Very bad pizza. Tasteless and small. Pre-made microwave base. Don't go here.

Just ordered via thuisbezorgd.nl - pizza and a bottle of water. I only received the pizza. I called immediately. The gentleman on the phone indicated that water was never ordered. The pizza has raw, cold vegetables. Disappointing service.

Good pizza with a nice thin, crispy crust. Not super spectacular, but just tasty. I thought the chili oil on the pizza was delicious. I went with someone with celiac disease; she had ordered gluten-free penne. It was tasty and didn't cause any problems with her allergy, despite her sensitivity to cross-contamination. However, gluten-free pizzas were baked in the same oven as regular ones, so I wouldn't recommend them for people who are truly allergic.

I filed a report with the Food Safety Authority! Hair in my food — yes, really!!!! I ordered spaghetti and found a hair on my plate. That is not only extremely disgusting, but above all a serious sign that hygiene in this restaurant is completely lacking. I pointed this out immediately and refused the spaghetti. Instead, I ordered a fungus starter. You would expect them to resolve this properly, but nothing could be further from the truth. When settling the bill, that spaghetti was simply on the bill after all. And the past fungus too!!! As if that wasn't bad enough, there were also 2 menus on the receipt that we didn't order at all. We had ordered 1 menu for 35 euros, which includes dessert, but the dessert (coffee) was also listed separately on the bill!!!! This goes beyond a simple mistake — this is completely unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable. The combination of dirty, unhygienic conditions and a bill that simply doesn't add up makes this one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I do not trust these kinds of practices at all and advise everyone to stay far away from here. I am waiting to see what the outcome of my report to the Food Safety Authority will be. Until then, I advise everyone to avoid this restaurant!!!

Went out for dinner with my boyfriend last Saturday. The food wasn't tasty, and my boyfriend had 3 slices of salami and a very thin crust; as a result, he was still very hungry. My pizza wasn't good either. But with prices of between €14-16 for standard pizzas, it's quite pricey. Unfortunately, he got a really bad stomach ache after eating the pizza and suffered from it all weekend. What a shame! I had imagined it differently, and I am used to good service and quality from Pinocchio. Unfortunately, not recommended!

We liked this restaurant so much we went 3 times during our 1 week holiday in The Hague. It is a cosy restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. The pizzas are true Italian style with very thin crust and great choice of toppings. The baked salmon with peppercorn sauce was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth. Highly recommend.

We ate pizza yesterday and I have to say they really need to hire a pizza baker. The staff is sweet and nice, but pizza in a restaurant shouldn't feel like I baked a pizza at home with my daughter 😄😄 It's okay, but we also ate pizza here 9 years ago and that was Really, Really good.

Still a lovely traditional pizzeria, where we first went 45 years ago. The food is still delicious, in the small but cozy restaurant. To be safe, make sure to book in advance, as it can quickly fill up, especially on weekends.

Horrible service and dishonest keeper. The service is very slow - took 45 min even though the shop is not busy. Attitude of the owner is horrible - have to ask for sharing plates repeatedly. Non attentive - cannot be bothered attitude throughout. The owner who took the order added an additional item when we were paying. Lucky that we picked it up. Clearly an intentional dishonest act as he checked the items with us after we ordered and he was the one who sent the order to us! Bad experience and bad taste. Will not return. I read others with similar experiences.

Be careful on payment. We were told our bank payment had not gone through. It had and we had to prove we had paid. We weren't the only ones. The pizza was ok x

Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews beforehand, otherwise I would never have eaten here. My 17-year-old daughter gave me a dinner as a gift through a social deal. She had a three-course meal. She didn't eat the salad, including the pizza, and it tasted like frozen pizza. We joked that they'd bought the pizza across the street at the Plus supermarket. Wow, what a place.

Ate here. The pizza looked like it was a frozen pizza, topped with some extra cheese. The salami was presented in no time. Then the lasagna! You know, that square of ready-made lasagna that you still have to put in the oven. Topped with extra cheese that was also burnt. Don't eat here!!!!!

Average on the verge of being bad. We ordered lasagna Bolognese and 2 pizzas. The lasagna was neither bad nor good. Nothing special. The pizzas are small and nothing out of this world either. Like the ones you can buy at the supermarket for the oven, but 3 times more expensive. I don't know if there will be any Italians in the squad, but it doesn't reflect their supposed origin. Maybe to the locals it seems like he is an Italian, but except for the name, he has nothing.

The margherita is not a margherita. The mozzarela is at least on the menu The one that comes with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and basilicum. But the 2 times we went there they just cut some dried parsley over it, and just brought basilicum after we asked for it. They just serve a very very bad cheap wine (and the price on the menu is not the actual price that is charged). The service is slow and rude, matching very well with other examples given here.

The pizzas tasted good. Only the base was thin and not airy. I also saw later that they use an electric oven. Expect a real wood-burning oven at a pizzeria. And some people call it cozy, but I found it claustrophobically cramped inside.

I was here last year and walked by today whilst back in the Hague. I'd encourage ya not to waste your time or money. Food was awful; I had something resembling carbonara with cheese in a small bowl that was nearly solid. Carbonara sauce was all gritty. I had initially expressed that I wanted a dessert but after the main I told him I didn't. Big sour puss said that it was already being "prepared", despite it being a cold dessert. This place is a cesspit and I don't consider myself fussy at all. Avoid like the plague

Best pizza I've ever had! The owner is Italian, friendly. Not a big restaurant, but from my point of view it has the perfect size. Very cozy atmosphere, the place is decorated just enough, and of course there's Italian music playing in the background. It's like a corner of Italy brought to the Hague. The tables cannot be seen from the outside, electricity is not up to standard... After a long wait, the pizzas arrived. The pizzas were burnt on the edges. Filthy frozen peppers, rubber ham and too few pieces of pineapple. The manager tried to rip us off on the price of beers. Not honest, his nose seemed to lengthen when he was talking to us, I advise against it.

We still don't know if we ate frozen pizzas because the feeling of eating cardboard was so persistent... We were told at the end of the meal that we had to pay in cash because the terminal was "broken". Considering the other comments, it is often broken... Speaking to his team in Italian, the boss becomes amnesiac, insisting that he only speaks Dutch as soon as our remarks start to displease him. In short, a good scam, to avoid!

I never write a review but this one was so bad I felt the need to write something. Pizza was not tasty, service was bad and the maintenance of the restaurant was very overdue. You'd be better off eating fries on the corner. Service of nothing.

Beer costs 5 euros. This is 25%!! more expensive than a beer in the pub on the Plein. Then the pizza: just bad. Tasteless wholesale cheese. Cheap supermarket salami. Diavola pizza didn't even have a dried chili pepper, nothing. You can just call pizza salami/parika. Please normal drink prices and better ingredients for the next one!

It was a decent expierence. The staff spoke not good dutch. When asked for what type of soft drinks do you served the server did not seem to understand. It was fine as he was friendly. The food was the best part. The cheese was a bit burnt, but not overly. It was decently flavored. For the price you can expect more than that you get. The quantity is also not the best. Overall it is a decent expierence and decent food for too high of a price.

I don't understand why people are so enthusiastic about this “Pizzeria”. My review probably won't interest them much, but I can't resist. I have honestly never eaten such bad Italian food. I had a pasta carbonara and my table companions a pizza. The carbonara sauce was really greasy and way too creamy. With all the will in the world I couldn't eat more than half the plate. The pizzas looked like frozen pizzas with thin bases and no firm crust around them. The ingredients also did not look good and they were not satisfied with the taste. The service itself was okay.

Enjoyed a 3-course dinner here via Social Deal. It was delicious! Friendly service, nice little shop. If we are ever in The Hague again, we will definitely eat here again.

Food was good and tasty, the owner was a bit impatient, I have never been in such a hurry, I ate a 3 course menu, my fellow table companion went for a smoke and asked again what do you want for dessert, you already know, we still had a beer and wanted to drink it quietly first.

I will never go there again. The food and service were fine, but at checkout we had to pay almost 20 euros for 3 bottles of water, while we only used 2 opened bottles. The owner is cheating in front of you. Not recommended and if you do go, check your bill carefully.

Should be embarrassed to call themselves italian. Pizza was thinner than paper and we asked to add prosciutto to one pizza and when we got the bill it said 2 additional costs. When asked why this was the owner said that it is due to the fact that he added two slices of prosciutto. Honestly a joke. Carbonara was everything but what it should have been.

Had a 3 course menu here via Social Deal, was greeted friendly upon arrival and walked to a table. What a beautiful atmosphere this restaurant has! It is not a large space, so the tables were a bit close together. It wasn't very busy, so there were only people in front and behind us. The onion soup as a starter was delicious. Didn't take a picture of the tomato soup, but it was DELICIOUS! A super rich taste. We had to order bread, which was not served with the soup. As a main course a pizza with shrimps. The menu said it had chili & garlic oil, but I didn't actually taste it. The shrimp were also not super special, but the pizza was larger than the plate and with a super thin base! I loved it. For dessert a tiramisu which was also delicious. For the price on Social Deal of €17.95 it was manageable for a 3 course menu! Definitely recommended if you want to dine for a bit cheaper, especially with a very nice atmosphere!

Food is decent, nothing special, but definitely could have been tastier, the onion soup is particularly awful. The atmosphere is quite nice, but that's the only plus point. Unfortunately there are too many disadvantages... The cutlery was quickly thrown down, and that's how it looked... nice and messy all over the table. The restaurant is even more dirty..! Dust was everywhere, you could even make entire drawings on it. The air conditioning was white, but now gray with dust... the walls, on the other hand, are white with dust in some places... Never seen anything like it before, so I don't really know what to compare it with... The light in the ladies' toilet leads its own life and turns off randomly while you are sitting. We hadn't swallowed the soup yet and the pizza was already coming, you clearly had to leave quickly. The gentleman then sits down to smoke outside and leaves his guests alone in the restaurant. Everyone just has to wait a while before ordering drinks or something like that. No washing of hands afterwards, nothing. The hygiene is just shocking! Finally, I asked for a pizza without peppers, but in the end it still had peppers on it... In short, you are not worth much as a customer... it was nice to see it, but I won't come here anymore...

Flyer put up outside the restaurant where they are hiring, they don't even judge based on experience and CV, they judge on appearance instead. I hope they can remove the aforementioned flyer so as not to waste people's time by turning them away with a simple thank you and goodbye. The children and we were very hungry, the children really wanted pizza, so we chose this small pizzeria. The staff was nice, we didn't have to wait long and the pizza was delicious! All special requests were fulfilled. Small, narrow restaurant, Italian atmosphere.

Pinoccio had a 🤥 Don't get fooled by the authenthic look. For the price of the pizza you could get a great sourdough pizza elsewhere. And unfortuanelty they didn't taste much different from freezer pizza. - slow service +30min wait - not much leg space.

Trap! Don’t go! The food doesn’t worth what it costs. The place is small and old. But if these were the only problems, ok. I’ve asked if I could pay with card before ordering the food and the owner said I could. When I was paying he said the internet was down- he wanted me to pay in cash. I told him I didn’t have enough money and for this reason I’ve asked before if he accepted card. He told me I could take money in an ATM in front of the restaurant but I didn’t want to do so and pay a tax. When I told him I wouldn’t do that, as magic, the internet was working again (and very very fast!). Unbelievable someone try to do such a thing! It’s an absolutely no go place!

We had dinner here tonight, reserved via Social Deal. Read (after booking) some bad reviews about the place, especially if booked via social deal. We went here with mixed feelings. When we entered we were shown to our table and we were helped shortly afterwards, we ordered the starter: tomato salad and tomato soup. Tomato salad was a bit sparse but fine to eat, tomato soup was very tasty! After the starter we ordered the main course: pizza tonno and pasta aglio e olio. These were both really delicious!! The pasta aglio e olio was on the menu online, but it was not on the menu in the restaurant itself, I asked about this and luckily it was made! After our main course we ordered dessert: Dame Blanche. This one was also really tasty! The service was not very social but certainly not unfriendly. It is a cozy restaurant (which I find very cozy). We received the food within 10 minutes of ordering, so that was also a plus! The only downside: the ATM 'didn't work' and we didn't have any cash with us, so we had to withdraw money (fortunately this was possible opposite the pizzeria). You can definitely eat here! Via social deal it was €17.95 p.p. for a 3-course dinner, Excl. drinks, so this is very affordable and you get super tasty food in return! Big tip!!

It was already unclear when I walked in, we were very vaguely “offered” a table and had to wait 20 minutes for the menu. We had to keep asking if we could order something and we were also given the wrong menu. After another fifteen minutes of waiting we got the right menu. Just after we ordered I received the receipt. When I had just finished my last bite of my starter, I immediately got the main course, but my friend only got her main course 20 minutes later. We couldn't take the pizza and pasta with us when we had finished eating, which is a shame about the food. Also nothing was cleared without us asking for it. We also had to wait another 20 minutes before we could order dessert. When I wanted to pay, I couldn't pay by card and I didn't have any cash with me and I had to go to the spar further away. At first she wanted me to pay for everything, but I had already paid via Social Deal. My Valentine's Day was certainly not a success at Pinocchio.

Had dinner here last night after a long day. The pizzas were delicious, but the star of the evening for me was the pinocchio ice cream, super simple with an adorable design. And the atmosphere inside was perfect!
