OCEANS Beach House in Wijk 07 Scheveningen

We spent two nights in a row at the Ocean Beach Club. The location is simply amazing: a breathtaking view, a fantastic ambiance, and an atmosphere where you can instantly unwind and enjoy the evening. Whether you preferred cold drinks or hot beverages, everything was perfect. We were particularly impressed by the service. Friendly, attentive, and pleasant—exactly what you'd hope for. But honestly, the view is hard to beat! Add to that the stylish atmosphere and the relaxed vibe—you could easily spend several hours here.

This is such a nice Place ! The food we ordered was veeeery delicious, fresh and the serving was awesome. Our Waiters was so handsome and friendly , Ashraf is such a Gentleman and it was a blessing to be your Guests tonight. Thanks for having us ! And absolutly see u again 🐚🌊🥰 By the Way, we tried Oysters for the first Time....and i bet, i liked it just because of how fresh they were ! If you want to eat fresh Seafood this is THE Place to be 🦪

Truly an amazing experience at OCEANS Beach House! The atmosphere was super, everything was well organized, and I had a really great time. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a beautiful and cozy place. Thanks for the lovely experience, Dia. I will definitely come back here again.

We had breakfast at Oceans Beach House and were completely satisfied. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented – the perfect start to the day. ☕🥐 We especially want to highlight the very friendly and attentive service. Friendly, relaxed, and accommodating – you immediately feel welcome as a guest. Plus, the wonderful atmosphere right on the beach. 🌊☀️

We had a delicious meal! I have an allergy to olives and olive oil. Few restaurants can prepare something without them. Here, they were able to make an entire meal for me without them. This was handled so well. I will definitely come back again.

Cheerful service. A bit strange during peak season: no more watermelon, which was exactly what made the snack menu a bit distinctive.

Surprisingly good – highly recommended right on the beach! Anyone familiar with beach restaurants knows that location often matters more than the food – but this is definitely different! We went there spontaneously today and were absolutely delighted. The food was truly excellent and far superior in quality to what you'd expect from typical beach restaurants. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel instantly welcome. All in all, a perfect package: great location, superb service, and really delicious food. Highly recommended!

It takes half an hour before you can even order.

Over rated. Cocktails not great. One star because of location since its near the beach. But very crowded.

Don’t come to this restaurant, the service is the worst ever

We sat down and the waitress was chatting at another table—that was perfectly fine—but then she realized she had already seen us, and it wasn't until 4 minutes later that she came to ask what we wanted. Then we were given the menu and she said, "Just take a look, and I'll come back later to take your order." Then she went back to sit at that other table and started talking to the people at that table again. We saw her sitting there and we knew what we wanted to order. She also saw that we knew we already knew what we were going to order. After 15 minutes she still hadn't come, so we just walked over to another place.

We ate here yesterday, just the two of us. For breakfast. I had the poached egg with salmon & avocado and fresh juice. First of all, the sandwich was completely tasteless. There was absolutely no salt or pepper on it and it basically only tasted like the avocado, which was put on way too much (but it was also substandard, especially for the price). The fresh juice was also quite expensive for what you get. 6.- for a small glass is on the pricey side. The American pancakes my girlfriend had were very small and nothing special either. That's why 3 stars.

We had to wait half an hour before our order was taken, and then the wrong thing was brought. We just left it at that, but the terrace certainly wasn't full.

A seaside restaurant, very close to the city center, with excellent service. The staff are incredibly kind. And above all, the food is fantastic. I recommend it without reservation.

After a walk on the beach on a beautiful summer day, we thought we'd grab a bite and a drink at Oceans Beach House. We were both in the mood for chicken satay and a delicious beer. That beer is delicious as always, but what really took us both by surprise was that delicious chicken satay 🤤 Our host Maxx served us calmly and allowed us to truly enjoy all the deliciousness this place has to offer.

Great vibe and pretty good food. Also the staff was very attentive and quick to help. Only two small gripes: the toilets weren't as clean as you'd expect from a place with these prices, and the added scrambled eggs to breakfast (€2,95) was a very small portion and arrived cold. Other than that, everything was great, with good coffee and hot chocolate.

The food was really delicious, and the orange juice was fresh and amazing. The service was great too. The only downside was that it was a little warm inside, but overall I had a great experience.

- Many of the chairs are dirty with hair or bird droppings. - There was a hair in my food, and I received a new plate within 1 minute. I wonder if that was really a new plate. - Drinks had not yet arrived when the food was there. When I asked about them, I was told twice that the bar was busy. No apologies, just an arrogant answer from a light-skinned waitress. Not recommended. Compensated, though: our drinks and 1 portion of food were free.

No sauce with the mussels. It was only a half portion of mussels. 7up was on the menu, but you got Sprite Zero. No one spoke proper Dutch. They were running incredibly fast. Definitely NOT recommended!!!

We came here today for a nice drink. We sat on the terrace on the beach side, a lovely spot. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. It took quite a long time before we could even order our first drinks. After that, we were basically left completely to our own devices. No one came by to ask if we wanted anything else to drink or eat. We waited for a long time because we really wanted to order something extra, but it simply wasn't possible. At one point, we even saw an employee pointing at us and indicating that someone would come over. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, even after it was indicated twice. In the end, we sat for hours with just one drink and left without being able to order anything else. It is a real shame, because the location is beautiful. With a bit more attention to the guests, the experience would have been much better.

We enjoyed the sea bream and shrimp, as well as the oysters, with a bottle of wine. Thank you.

Ate here with my husband. After a long wait, we were finally served. We politely asked if there were any gluten-free options. Then we both ordered food. Fifteen minutes later, my husband's food was brought out, with the table not yet set. The comment was that my food would be arriving shortly. His plate was almost empty when we decided to ask where my food was. After checking, the waitress indicated "that it had been cancelled by the kitchen." We received a weak apology and that was all we got. A very negative experience!

Best mojitos here with very friendly staff

I wanted to order two cocktails, two Pornstar Martinis, one with alcohol and one without. I was told that it wasn't possible, to which I naturally asked why not. The gentleman replied that their Pornstar comes on tap. So, prepared, but still charging the price of a freshly mixed cocktail. I'll pass. Unheard of for an otherwise fine beach bar.

A fantastic spot to chill on the beach! A bit pricey, but the food is delicious, the staff is great, and the vibe is amazing! I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to lie directly on the beach with sand in their face! You can also rent a bed (€15) or a lounger (€12.50) for the whole day.

Disappointing experience. They serve cold coffee in dirty glasses. The hygiene standards are very low, and the staff did not seem to care when I pointed it out. Definitely do not recommend this place.

The service was truly excellent and the food was delicious too. Unfortunately, there was one point that made my experience less pleasant. After I had been sitting on the terrace for about an hour and a half, the presumed manager approached me asking if I wanted to put on a T-shirt, as it was supposedly not allowed to wear only a bikini top. The annoying thing was that I had actually asked the staff if this was allowed before I sat down. They indicated that it was no problem, so I assumed everything was in order. I don't know if the rules change at a certain point or if there was a miscommunication between the staff and management. If I had known in advance that this was not allowed, I probably would have made a different choice. Additionally, I did not like the way the situation was handled. It's a shame, because otherwise everything was fine. Therefore, I probably won't come back next time.

The terrace is beautiful and the service is good. I had the Caesar salad with prawns myself; the prawns were deliciously marinated, but the salad was basically just a bowl of sauce. I pointed this out, but nothing was done about it. The plate was simply taken away and I haven't heard anything about it since. Anyway, all in all, for a good cocktail, a bite to eat, or dinner, this is definitely the place to be! All previous visits were good!

Went here because there was some heavy storm brewing on the day I went to Scheveningen. The service was good, there is always waiter that waiting and taking care of you. The waitress that handles my table knew well her foods. She recommended the mussels and fries that were really as good as she said. Then the drinks were as expected. Price was as expected of the space and quality of the food.

Wow…we had such a great meal! The shellfish were super fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. Before the main course, we had an appetizer which was also incredibly tasty, and to finish, we had a fantastic oyster. It was so delicious, fresh, and not at all fishy or slimy! 😍 The staff was very friendly and always checked in on us! We'll definitely be back.

We waited 15 minutes just to order drinks and asked for the menu, too. The waitress walked away afterwards and didn't bring us a menu. It wasn't until the staff member who brought our drinks arrived—and we asked for the menu again—that we finally got one. Once we’d decided what we wanted for breakfast, we signaled the waitress. She saw us but didn't come over; she was busy doing other things. By this point, we’d been waiting quite a while... And then, because it took so long, there was no Açaí bowl left? And this in the morning. What is this? It was empty at this morning, and the waiter is so Slow? Service? Non-existent. Update: arround 25min needs for a bread with Salomon and a crosaint.

The season hadn't started yet, but they had some sofas already set up on the beach, and we were able to relax there for an hour without having to buy anything. They were very kind. The beach was also very nice.

In itself a fine place: we had a delicious pokebowl for lunch and the staff was generally friendly. But what was disappointing is that we wanted a non-alcoholic cocktail (mocktail). It wasn't even on the menu. Upon inquiry, only a Mojito was available, but we were quickly informed that this wasn't possible given how busy it was... Incidentally, the terrace wasn't even half full, so a regular cocktail was possible, yet making a little effort to make a non-alcoholic Mojito was too much to ask... It doesn't seem like any extra work to me, and the revenue model is even bigger, too. Very unfortunate and not customer-friendly, hence a lower rating.

Nice location, but unfortunately, a few things went wrong. For instance, we received our starters along with one main course. Then they forgot one main course, and it was quickly prepared, resulting in a complete lack of flavor. The staff were friendly, though.

The menu is extensive and the food is always delicious. The staff is always friendly and cozy! Today, I spent another whole day enjoying the weather and the good atmosphere at Oceans with my girlfriends. Bonus points for our new favorite waiter, Marton! Very atmospheric and good food. Had a wonderful day and Marton served our snacks and drinks quickly, in a pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly and enthusiastic waiter. Oceans is definitely highly recommended for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon in Scheveningen. For us, the calamari rings and nachos were already a tasty start, but the fish and chips were truly a highlight 😋

Insulting and Provoking hatred.. Hello I just need to pull this out of chest because me and my friends went to this Restaurant and two of my friends that they were gay they received unpleasant comments about their sexuality , my girlfriend tried to defend and defuse the argument and she gets humiliated Infront of everyone. Before all started from my girlfriend complained that her food was containing hair and my drink wasn't what I was ordered it was all this mistakes combined with homophobia we didn't get to pay for nothing. Simple we left soo much stressed and offended. Totally Traumatised experience. Avoid this Restaurant at any cost.
