Since brownies are explicitly highlighted in the name of the restaurant, the quality of these brownies should be better. I found them a bit sticky and the taste could have been more intense. So either reduce price or improve quality.

The cutest cafe ever! This café is an absolute highlight! Not only is it incredibly chic and cozy, but it's also one of the warmest I've ever visited. The service was exceptionally friendly and we immediately felt welcome. The selection of food and drinks is diverse, so there really is something for everyone. I was particularly impressed by the cake – it was incredibly delicious and made with a lot of love. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a special place to relax!

Everything was 10/10 here. Went on a Saturday afternoon spontaneously and was pleasantly surprised. We sat at the terrace, service was quick and friendly, and atmosphere was comfortable. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the doggy station warmed my heart 😁 I ordered the iced coffee and salmon pancakes. Both were delicious but the pancakes blew me away. I usually get salmon dishes in different restaurants in the Netherlands for breakfast/brunch and found them heavy but here they really composed this dish well, the sweet-salty-savoury taste is balanced and has become my favorite breakfast dish! Filling but light.

We ate here for 12 hours, it was beautifully presented and very tasty, highly recommended. Still enjoyed sitting on the attractive terrace.

What a nice place this is! An attractively decorated terrace with comfortable chairs. It was nice to relax in the autumn sun. We enjoyed lunch here and the plates look beautifully laid out and colorful. Good price-quality ratio. The business is run by the owner and her partner. Extremely hospitable and friendly people. You experience that we work with heart for the business and love for the special target group. We will definitely come back here!

Hello, yesterday afternoon, September 15, I ate tuna salad with toast with a friend. The quality was mediocre. The garnish old and sour. Down arrow. My girlfriend got sick. Diarrhea and vomiting. Still not feeling well. Never want to eat anything from your kitchen again. Very disappointed. Mervrouw M.kessels

Die Livemusik auf dem Platz gefiel uns, deshalb sind wir für ein paar Drinks und Snacks geblieben. Die Bedienung war auch nett ...

Allereerst een compliment aan het personeel, allemaal even vriendelijk. Waarom slechts een gemiddelde score? De salade geitenkaas viel erg tegen, de "gebakken" geitenkaas had waarschijnlijk tien seconden onder de gril gelegen, de dressing zou iets van vijgen moeten zijn, dat leek wel schenkstroop en er zat geen enkele pecannoot op. De mocktail met passievrucht (dan verwacht ik eigenlijk een soort pornstar martini) leek eerder op sinas met ijsklontjes waar een halve passievrucht in dreef. Maar goed, dat is een kwestie van smaak en dat kan verschillen. Het ergste vond ik de smerige wc. Daar zal ik verder niet over uitweiden, maar op zo'n drukke dag mag toch echt wel minimaal een keer per uur het toilet gecontroleerd worden. En ja, het zijn de gasten die het zo achterlaten, maar wel de verantwoordelijkheid van de eigenaar om het bij te houden. Voor mij helaas een slechte eerste ervaring.

Ich finde das Inklusion-Konzept super und uns hat das Brownie-Konzept angesprochen. Meine Freundinnen haben Brownies bestellt und ich ein Clubsandwich. Wie man weiß, heißt es „Club“ wegen Chicken, Lettuce und Bacon und nach Beschreibung noch mit Mayo und Ei. Von diesen Zutaten bin ich ausgegangen, weil es so beschrieben ist. Leider war es mein Versäumnis (was mir die Bedienung auch genauso mitgeteilt hat), zu fragen ob Paprika darauf ist, da ich eine Allergie habe. Ich habe die Paprika aussortiert, allerdings mitgeteilt, dass das doch bitte auf der Karte vermerkt werden soll, wenn Grillgemüse mit hinzugefügt wird, damit nicht nochmal jemandem sowas passiert. Die Kellnerin war wahnsinnig unfreundlich und hat mir die volle Verantwortung gegeben! Zusätzlich spielt der Ton auch die Musik, wodurch das Erlebnis nachhaltig getrübt worden ist und für mich leider keine Empfehlung mehr ist!

When visiting Roermond, a visit to Brownies & Downies is also a must. The drinks and food are delicious and reasonably priced. The menu offers a wide selection and the atmosphere is warm and original. The concept of the business is ultimately a special bonus and still deserves a 6th star. In short: you are in Roermond? Off to Munsterplein for Brownies & Downies.

A very nice lunchroom where I went with my family last March. It is located on a very beautiful historic square with a lovely terrace within walking distance of the Outlet Roermond. The kids were thrilled about this place, because they chose the blueberry pancakes and brownies. I had a carpaccio sandwich and this was very tasty too. What makes this case extra special; some of the staff have Down syndrome and have the opportunity to participate in the catering industry. The boy who served us was so wonderfully cheerful and did a great job! Very nice to experience this! Definitely recommended if you go shopping in Outlet Roermond, it's way better than grabbing a sandwich at the Outlet itself, given the fact it's only a 5-minute walk!

A wonderful concept that was simply implemented excellently. Here you immediately feel welcome and receive very warm service. The cake and drinks tasted excellent. The ambience is super cute. We would like to come again.

We shared two bagels (salmon and mushroom) and the brownies in bite sizes to try and all of it was so good! The waiters were kind, everything arrived fast. Will come there again!

the food was okay, but the owner was quite rude to the customers, I waited 2 hours for my food.

There were hairs in my food. My 7 year old daughter became very ill from the food. The brownies came out of the microwave. The atmosphere was not pleasant; there was shouting at the back of the kitchen and the owner was very annoying to the people with disabilities, almost becoming angry. It seemed like a toxic place, in my opinion.

We were here on January 6th, 2024, but we have already been regular guests for many years and sometimes come by several times a month. This is definitely our favorite place in the city. We really like the cozy atmosphere and the staff are very attentive and nice. Every wish is fulfilled - truly a place to relax and linger. The food is simple but super tasty. Super friendly service in a cosy atmosphere. Good concept integrating everyone into the society. Meal portions were generous and they tasted really nice. Unfortunately, one of the vegan bitterballen contained meat. However, the waiter was kind enough to help with replacement. Still a 5 star experience for us.

Bei unserem Ausflug von Köln nach Roermond sind wir auf dieses wunderschöne Cafe gestoßen. Die Brownies schmecken extrem gut und es wird alles mit viel Liebe und Herz zubereitet. Wir wurden wirklich sehr freundlich und natürlich bedient und haben uns draußen auf der schönen Terrasse sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch innen ist es sehr schön. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch im überfüllten Outlet sicher wieder Station im B&D machen, um uns bei einem leckeren Brownie vom Stress zu entspannen. Besonders lecker ist übrigens der Oreo-Brownie :-) During our trip from Cologne to Roermond, we came across this wonderful cafe. The brownies taste extremely good and everything is prepared with love and heart. We were served in a really friendly and natural way and felt very comfortable outside on the beautiful terrace. It is also very nice inside. We will definitely stop at the B&D again on our next visit to the crowded outlet to relax from the stress with a delicious brownie. By the way, the Oreo brownie is especially delicious :-)

Een hele fijne plek bij het Munsterplein. We hebben een lunchplank voor twee personen besteld. Deze bestond uit verschillende kleine gerechten. We hebben lekker gegeten. Het terras is zeer fleurig.
