Great location just off main street, but nice and quiet. Wine selection was excellent, owner is very knowledgeable. Charcuterie boards were possibly the best I've had. Fresh ingredients, wonderfully prepared and presented, and you're given a lot. Very affordable. Would recommend to anyone in Amsterdam looking for a quiet place to sit with friends and enjoy wine and food

Overall a good wine bar, borderline 5 stars to me. They have a wide selection of wine by bottle and a decent selection of ~20 wines by the glass. I came there because I saw an enomatic (wine dispenser) machine but it’s actually meant for the staff only, not for the customers to self-service unfortunately. The prices were okay, a bit on the higher end. The interior and atmosphere was just fine

It looks like a nice bar and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, that's about it. At a champagne tasting, you get three different kinds. All at once and clearly from bottles that have been open for a while. The result: no bubbles in the bottle, undrinkable, and warm champagne against you as you start your second glass. A tip: serve everything one glass at a time and simply discard any open bottles. We'll be going back to Epernay to taste champagne in the future.

Very chill vibe, the quality of wine and cheese was beyond my expectation. Even my friend who normally hates cheese enjoyed it. The owner certainly knows his stuff about wine, he is super friendly, warm, and funny too. Loved our experiences and will definitely come again!!

we were the first one to arrive as it was the only wine bar open nearby . We sat outside and the server was so funny, kind and easy-going. We got a flight and some snacks. The restaurant has beautiful decor on the inside. But definitely come here again!

First time we've had good wine since being in the Netherlands! Very good address for wine lovers, friendly server who explains things well. With a small assortment of cheeses and charcuterie, it was just perfect for an aperitif👌🏼

Stayed in a hotel in the same street and finally made it inside on my last day in Amsterdam. This wine bar/restaurant is absolutely adorable, the atmosphere inside was fun and moody. I didn’t have a reservation but they took us as a walk-ins, they were accommodating and the service was wonderful. Obviously the wine is good here, and the food to accompany them was excellent too, I think I ended up with 3 orders of oysters, and the charcuterie board was the perfect pairing. Really lovely place!

The best wine bar I’ve ever been too. Cannot recommend Jonny enough - getting a suggestion on wine from him who is the best sommelier we’ve met. Knows his wines extremely well, and now I’m just upset we’re going to have to travel here to come back for more. Amazing gem in Amsterdam

This place was on my "Must Do" list for Amsterdam. When researching them I saw they had such a diverse and fun wine list with by the glass, bottle and tasting options. They aren't far from Dam Square, but set into a side street so much quieter and laid back. We enjoyed a champagne tasting that gave us 3 different champagnes to try for only $28! Our server explained each one to us and allowed us to ask any questions we had. We also had a glass of wine each before leaving because the atmosphere was so fun! We did not try the food as we had just eaten not long before getting there, but they do have food available that another table had and it looked very fresh and like it would pair well with your wines. The vibe here is so unique. I loved how laid back and comfortable this place was for how elite a wine list it has! There was no effrontery or snobbish attitudes just a group of people that seem to love wine and community. They have local art hanging and available for purchase and the staff took the time to give us the background of the artist and how they came to have their work available. This is the place where if I lived in Amsterdam I could see myself visiting at least once a week for a glass of wine and a chat. Highly recommend if you are in the area, especially if you love trying new and fun wine.

Tuvimos una noche maravillosa en Bubble & Wines en nuestra primera noche en Amsterdam! Al entrar en este atractivo establecimiento había un gran grupo disfrutando en una gran mesa. ¡Sus risas y jovialidad eran contagiosas! Decidimos sentarnos en el bar y estuvimos encantados de conocer a Jonny, uno de los propietarios! Jonny era extrovertido, amable e informativo y nos ayudó con excelentes recomendaciones de vino. La selección de vinos fue increíble y sin duda disfrutamos de probar las deliciosas catas generosas! A medida que más gente entraba entablamos conversaciones con otros clientes y un habitual, lo que se sumó al maravilloso ambiente y la vibra! La tabla de charcutería que pedimos era un delicioso surtido de carnes, quesos, mermeladas, etc. los acompañamientos perfectos para nuestro vino. Bubbles & Wines es el lugar perfecto para vino, champán, algo de comer y un gran momento!

Cozy place but poor service, for a place where they serve aperitifs it's strange not to find a prosecco or an Aperol Spritz or a bitter Campari, nothing special.

We had a high wine here last Saturday and I will never do a high wine anywhere else again. We received very large tasty planks of food and 8 good and tasty wines per person. And all that for €45 p.p. And in a beautiful café in the center of Amsterdam (right next to the Rokin stop). Highly recommended!

Nice winebar. Good expertise and they really take the time to explane the different wines. Good selection of wines. Also the choice of wines by the bottle is impressive. Food is simple but decent. Could be the only point of developing. The staff is very friendly and open. Good and patient way of working explaining makes the visit to this bar well worth it.

Wat een leuke sfeervolle zaak, in het centrum van Amsterdam. Met 2 eigenaren die veel kennis hebben en dat graag overbrengen. Een prachtige wijnkaart met zoveel keuzes dat het lastig kiezen is, maar daar helpen zij je graag en kundig bij. Het is ook geschikt voor iedere portemonnee. De hapjes die je erbij krijgt zijn ook fantastisch en met zorg bereid en goed passend bij de wijnen.

Simply asked for something for my 80 year old father, a tiny cake with 1 candle and they just ignored me!! Very rude!!

He estado un par de veces ahora y se ha convertido en mi ir a, con amigos, para las noches de citas con mi novio y cuando mi familia visita también. Traje a mis mejores amigos de Italia aquí y nos lo pasamos muy bien. Gran ambiente, la selección de vinos es genial, tienen algo para todos! El personal es siempre agradable y acogedor, están dispuestos a ayudarle y sugerir vinos para todos los gustos. Definitivamente debería estar sobre la marcha de todos perderse cuando visite Amsterdam!

Unfortunately i cant give 6/5 but it definitely worth to come here if you just wanna relax from Amsterdam touring, have some delicious wines, cocktails and bubbles with so many options. For dates and friendly gathering its best place. Quite and so calming. They have tastings and choice of whatever you want in the menu. Simple, cozy, super friendly and funny staff. It was first time but definitely coming here again. Amazing place!

Nuestra tarde en Bubbles and Treats superó todas las expectativas! La comida era fuera de este mundo, el champán delicioso y los tés muy únicos. El personal de servicio era fantástico. Todo el mundo era muy atento y conocedor de la comida y bebidas que se presentan. Y el violinista fue la guinda llevando la experiencia a un nivel completamente nuevo. Wow! They are so friendly and the Dutch food Bitter Ballen is super delicious! There are many types of wine and the cocktail gin and tonic is very delicious! lol

A very good selection of wine by the glass, and by the bottle the list is simply fire. The interior is modern urban. The bartender knows about wine. Food - snacks to go with wine, delicious.

Really lovely wine bar, with great food and drinks selection. The truffle and cheese toastie was delicious! Johnny was super friendly and very passionate. All the details really make it, how the food and drinks are served, artwork, and in a lovely street away from the crowds but still with a great atmosphere! Will definitely be returning and definitely recommend a visit!

Yesterday was such an amazing time! The owner of this beautiful establishment greeted us with his passion for wine and splendid customer service. They offer a wide range of not only wines and knowledge about them, but also made some exquisite cocktails and also served delicious whiskey. I was truly in awe of the fervent interest and experience that we were served with, not only with basic knowledge about the wines, but additionally being told stories about trying them at their vineyards. We ordered some of the cheese and charcuterie as well as the traditional bitterballen and it was the perfect accompaniment to our drinks. This was also presented beautifully and most important perhaps were delicious. The atmosphere in Bubbles and Wines is some of the best I’ve ever experienced- if I was a local and not a tourist I would definitely come back often. So if you are reading this make sure to go, it’ll be a memory for life.

Really love this place! Its is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. Staff is very friendly and welcoming! They can tell you a lot about their wine’s. Been coming here for over 13 years and almost nothing changed and that is a compliment.

Had a superb experience here. Had some incredible wine flights sampling some of the nicest wines, with some cheese, caviar and other lovely food. The little touches and accoutrements were such a nice addition - so much thought and detail has been put into the place. Really classy place but with an informal vibe. The owner was knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel so welcome. I wish a place like this was in my home town. Highlight of Amsterdam.

This was our first day in Amsterdam and Johnny made our night absolutely amazing. Every time I asked him for a surprise glass with the notes I liked, he brought the most perfect glass! The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming, my friends and I had an amazing time. HIGHLY recommended stop to your Amsterdam trip and I really hope johnny is there to make your experience as special as mine and my friends!

Great location in a quieter street right next to De Wallen if you want a good spot after more touristy activities & then want to get away from the crowds & drink good wine. Excellent wine list, good selection of mostly Dutch cheeses. Fun staff. Very narrow & bit awkward though with seating options limited if more than 4 people. But options at the bar.

Overall nice wine selection and very nice oysters. Asked if they had pinotage, then the service said no then started on saying how he can’t imagine why anyone would like pinotage because he’s never tried any good ones in his life, I insisted to say I personally like pinotage. Unnecessary blabber, like I had to defend why I liked pinotage. 🤷🏼‍♂️ but everything else was cool

Came the evening before my flight home. Servers were welcoming and the atmosphere was friendly, professional and inviting. Asked for wine recommendations and thorougly enjoyed the reds given to me. I spoke to the young man behind the bar about working at a wine bar in Amsterdam, he said it beats joining the red light. Funny. I like this place a lot, will come back when I'm next in Amsterdam.

A central restaurant with a very nice atmosphere and polite staff where you can taste wine. We enjoyed it very much. We bought a plate with 3 cheeses (17 euros) for 2 people and it was quite enough. We really liked their cheese covered with grapes. Number one for wine lovers who want to relax a bit and spend quality time. Wine tasting costs 15-20 euros per person.

If you like loud-talking and laughing women over 50, this is the place to be. Wines were not special and the cheese platter was mediocre. Furthermore, the owner could not tell or recommend much... so there are plenty of other better places in Amsterdam for wine tasting.

For many years I have been a loyal customer of Bubblesandwines! Great food pairings with a wine list that’s constantly changing so you won’t get bored. The owners actually visit the producers to source their wines. Honestly my favorite is the mineral fruity forward Dutch Riesling which is hard to find. Loads of hot and cold snacks available as well. And if you’re from Europe it’s rare to experience a Napa red, so I suggest you order an amazing bottle of CHRIS JOYCE WINE from the St Helena appellation of Napa. If you’re into cocktails , order the Dark and Stormy. Johnnie and Sven will expertly guide you to an excellent wine experience!

A bit overpriced if you ask me - but that's Amsterdam of course. I also don't expect glasses with rings of dried water in a wine bar. Service is friendly.

I had a fantastic experience at Bubbles and Wines. The service and wine knowledge and choice of wines and champagne was exceptional. The visit was much better than I expected and as a solo tea wit was great to sit at the bar and try a few wines. Bread and olives as also great. Plus the team gave me a superb restaurant tip which I visited and which was also excellent! (Castell).

What an experience. Great service, fantastic wines and high quality 'charcouterrie'. The cheeses, meats and breads were all very well paired with the wines and the host was extremely enthusiastic which made it all the more exciting. I felt welcomed from the minute I stepped foot in the building.

I loved the cheese plate and the great selection of wines. So much we went twice and I’d gone more if I had stayed longer in Amsterdam! 😅😋 the escargot was also quite delicious… great service and beautiful decoration; I might visit as soon as I get back to the city 😄

Great place to spend money on bubbles and wine

Great wine bar. We had the Italian tasting menu which had 4 half glasses. The waiters know the wines well and there are a lot of options for wines by the bottle as well. We had the 3 cheese board and the 3 charcuterie board - they were nice,they could have had a heavier tasting sausage to pair with the red wine. Apparently there is gluten free bread but it didn’t come. Great atmosphere, would recommend this spot

Gisteren met z’n vieren enorm genoten van een high wine arrangement bij bubbles and wines. Arrangement bestond uit heerlijke wijnen en hapjes. Beide eigenaren waren heel erg aardig en klantvriendelijk. Echt een feestje om hier te wijnen. Aan de muur hingen ook hele mooie schilderijen met Amsterdamse grachtenpanden en bruggen als thema die je ook nog kunt kopen.. Wij gaan hier zeker nog een keer terugkomen.

It’s a perfect place for wine tasting with your friends on Friday. Those snacks and breads are so delicious and fresh. Staffs are friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is perfect for chatting. Highly recommended and don’t miss out!
