A lovely bar for drinks, super cozy, and they have a huge wine list. I tried their excellent non-alcoholic cider.

Everything was delicious. Food and wine were on top. A bit too crowded and noisy inside

I stopped by this place to try wine, but it wasn’t what I expected. As someone who has tried wines from many countries, the flavor and texture didn’t feel close to a traditional wine experience, and the prices were quite high for the quality. The place looks cute, but the seating is very tight. The tables are so close that you can end up sitting almost side-by-side with strangers, and sometimes people even ask to share your table, which makes it hard to enjoy the moment. If you love natural wine, you might still want to try it. But if you’re looking for a classic wine experience, I’d recommend choosing another place.

I didn't find this myself but was introduced by a friend that lives in De Pijp. A wine bar with a very good selection, I love the Terre Siciliane. Accompanied by a Baba Ganoush it makes a good experience. A nice place to sit, relax and enjoy...

Had the burgundy snails aka escargots, which was very tasty, evoking nice memories when I first had snails in Paris decades ago. It was served with really nice crusty bread. I received a carafe of water free of charge, something you don't often get these days. Very pleasant staff, nice sunny terrace. I'll definitely return for more snails (and a beer or two - see photo)

Very good natural wine bar, particularly good French wines, in the Pijp district of Amsterdam. A beautiful terrace, quality service, and a waitress who offers excellent wine advice. The food is more of a brunch-style option for a light snack. A great place to enjoy a good time in Amsterdam, just outside the city center 👍

We had an absolutely beautiful evening at this lovely wine bar. We had the cheese and charcuterie board as well as a few glasses of their natural wines. I had a beautiful orange wine which was delicious. The service was wonderful and the bar had such a cosy atmosphere. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I had a long day, nothing went according to the plan, tears in my eyes, I didn’t have food for the all day… I sit there it is 6pm, I decided to sit inside as I have to work and it is a beautiful day so as I have to send couple of emails, I don’t want to take a table of people who can actually enjoy the weather. There are barely 5 persons inside. 80% of the tables are free. Perfect ! It is back to school period, Thursday evening… not a massive traffic expected. I sit, take out my laptop, order my diner… and after 10min sitting someone tell me I can’t use my laptop. Guys I understand the policy when it is crowded or if I were smoking actually bothering someone but a touch of flexibility and humanity is not going to kill you. “It is the policy” she said as a robot could say. Cheers to “robot policies” taking over on human value and pragmatism. The men who took my order was lovely though.

Such a cute place, excellent wine selection. This was the first time we really tasted a selection of natural wines and the staff made it so accessible. Very chill and laid back vibe. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon silping and people-watching. Very recommended!

This natural wine bar has a wonderful atmosphere. They serve delicious wines alongside light snacks. They also offer orange wine, a natural wine with a sweet and tart flavor. I had the cheese platter, and the Dutch cheese was, as expected, excellent. It's a great place to have a drink rather than a meal. Highly recommended!!!

I'm a Japanese woman who loves natural wine. Based on the high ratings on the natural wine app Raisin and Google Maps, I decided to spend my last night in Amsterdam at Glouglou. I arrived around 10:30 PM, but it was still packed with customers, proving to be a beloved spot in Amsterdam's nightlife. The interior was decorated with posters of various winemakers and empty wine bottles, which were exciting just to look at. The music was also excellent, creating a pleasant drinking atmosphere. Wine : The wine by the glass list for this day is pictured. There were 19 bottles in total, including pale orange rosés! The selection was quite extensive. Many of the wines are also available in Japan, making for a reliable lineup. The color of the Le Ton des Cerises label was a bit off, but the taste was absolutely delicious. After I explained my preferences for this type of red wine, they let me try three different varieties. The same for my second glass. You don't get to sample them in Japan! I almost bowed down to how divine their service was. It was amazing. We had a really fun time talking about the natural wine situation in Japan. If you like natural wine, this is a must-visit!

The service is slow and the staff is rude. You ask for a recommendation, a food or the bill and they act like you bothered them and ask for something out of their job description. They don’t allow for sharing the bill and when we said it was not said earlier and we do want to pay separately the waitor said he can not deal with us and he almost throw the pos device to us because he had to divide. I can understand a place has rules when explained in a nice manner but “sorry we dont divide” attitude and then the aggressiveness after we asked for our very right is unacceptable. Yes wine is okay the cheese is okay but would it worth all the trouble? Definitely no. Go to La Dilettante instead, their vibe is much better, food is better and they actually welcome you.

Ridiculously pretentious, and natural wines are naturally not my thing. I'm sorry but it's a fad. However, it's also cosy and the patrons were fun and friendly in all their pretentiousness. Kitchen should be open all night, and not close when it's still jam packed..

I don't drink alcohol but from what I saw it was a great crowd.

The atmosphere is nice. We had a charcuterie plate and a cheese plate. It was delicious. We also had two white wines. We went around 7pm on a weekend and it was full.

A perfect spot for natural wine lovers! We were visiting Amsterdam for the weekend, and decided to stop by this cute little spot and ended up staying for a couple of glasses. The menu was very interesting, and we were allowed to try some samples off the menu before having a glass. This made the overall experience more inviting & less daunting! Also the interior (and the toilets) are all decorated in a very cute kitschy way.

Natural wine for 10 years!! Glouglou is the address to get to know and taste natural wine. Excellent service, delicious food and fantastic wines. Very new experience for us, we really got to know a pearl of Amsterdam here with a lovely terrace. We will come back here soon.

Looking for a nice (not standard) wine bar, Glouglou is the place. The atmosphere and service were excellent. Well-informed and friendly staff, who are happy to share their passion for natural wine. As 2 difficult voters, we were allowed to taste 3 wines after which we ordered a glass of the tastiest. The red natural wine: Trebbiolo is highly recommended. The prices are on the high side. So for 4 glasses of wine and 1 cheese platter, wine paid €50 Nevertheless, we would like to come back.

The wine selection was good, and the food prices were reasonable. However, the service wasn’t great. We stayed for about two hours, had a couple of glasses of wine, and two cheese platters. While we were chatting, the waitress came by and asked if we were doing fine. When we said yes, he asked if we wanted the bill. After we paid, he immediately returned to inform us that a large table was waiting and told us we needed to leave in quite a rude tone.

Glouglou is a fantastic wine bar with an extensive wine list that covered such a great range of flavors and tastes. While I didn’t have any of the bites when I was there, seeing the plates other people got, the portion sizes are really good for a wine bar. It is tiiiight inside, so be prepared to be seated very close to others unless you arrive early. But the aesthetic inside is perfect.

Last week, I visited Glouglou for the first time after hearing so many great recommendations. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined as soon as I noticed the waitress serving our table. She was wearing a shirt with a very explicit and offensive political message targeting both the nationality and the country I come from. The shirt even featured a map of my country in a disrespectful context. This was a deeply hurtful experience. I don’t believe such a bold display of political views should be normalized by someone in a customer-facing role. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I won’t be returning to this place. Of course, the waitress is entitled to her opinions, and I hold nothing against her personally. However, I strongly feel that employees representing a business should refrain from expressing their political stance in such an overt way. If this reflects the views of the business itself, I’m glad I know now and can choose not to support such an establishment. If it’s hard to relate, imagine being part of the LGBTQ+ community and being served at a bar where the waiter wears a shirt with a homophobic message. That’s how it felt.

We discovered Glou Glou as that friend you get to know at the end of the holiday, so too late. What a wonderful place, people watching from the terrace with a deliciously spicy rosé and tasty snacks.. Staycation? This terrace makes you forget that you are in Amsterdam and immediately throws you into Provence or into a Parisian bar... Thanks for the hospitality!
