Great Service and even better Bao buns. They are so exquisite and they are by far the best Bao buns I haves tried in Europe and the US. It is worth the trip here 100%!!!!!

This place is just fantastic! We ordered the korean fried chicken and shrimp bao buns and the gyoza. Even though there was a line, we were served quickly and the girls working there always had a smile. All the chicken here is Halal. This is the best lunch spot during our summer vacation here. This is clearly one of the best places to eat at the albert cuyp market. We came back twice after this weekend! They have the best bao buns in the world and the most friendly service!

We have been visiting the girls at Bunsbar for years; we come all the way from Almelo, and we are always given a very warm welcome. The sandwiches still have the same price, which is unique for the Randstad. Everything is made fresh, and you can taste it!

After a stroll along the Albert Cuyp, Buns Bar is exactly the place you want to settle down. It’s not just a quick bite; you can really taste the quality. Everything is fresh, incredibly flavorful, and prepared with care. What truly completes this place is the fantastic team. They immediately create a nice, hospitable vibe that makes you feel super welcome. An absolute gem in Amsterdam where I will definitely be stopping by more often!

Stopped by for a quick snack and it exceeded our expectations :) The shrimp bao is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I'm still in line for around 30 min and I still didn't get my order. I'm watching it be made and it takes the looooongest time for each one to be ready. Maybe more people is needed to help. It taste really good though.

The service was incredibly friendly and they were smiling throughout the entire ordering process. The short wait passed quickly, and the warm buns tasted fantastic. I had a little trouble eating the bun with all the sauce, but it was unbelievably delicious. Luckily, there were plenty of napkins. I highly recommend it because I really enjoyed it.

We tried two bao buns – the Korean Fried Chicken and the Bali Chicken – and both were absolutely fantastic. The flavors are spot-on and perfectly balanced. Excellent food, highly recommended! Next time, we’ll definitely go for the Pulled Pork and Shrimp Buns – can’t wait.

Very tasty, a bit hyped, of course, but it's worth it. If you arrive on tram number 4, you can't miss it. The M52 is at the other end of the market.

Got the Korean fried chicken and it was phenomenal. The chicken was crispy and the pickled veggies were so delicious! Really good sauces as well. And to top it all off it was only 7 euros

We went there because of the many good reviews on social media. It cost €7, which is quite a lot for the amount. The taste was okay. If you don't like spicy food, you might not like it. It was a very crowded place, with only three chairs for the crowd. I wouldn't go there again.

Absolutely amazing baos! We got the Pulled jackfruit and the Korean chicken baos. The Pulled jackfruit Bao was one of the best vegetarian dishes I have ever had! 🥰 The staff was friendly and full of energy :) You have to wait a bit for the food but totally worth the wait!

A MUST for every trip to Amsterdam! Since 2022 we have been visiting this store regularly on our Amsterdam vacations at different times of the year. We have eaten bao buns in different countries and this is definitely one of the best. The quality is also constant and very good. We visited the store several days in a row and always had a very good taste experience. We ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Buns. The buns are incredibly fluffy and the portion is generous. There are big fried chicken pieces in the bun and it's not stingy. The coleslaw and the two sauces (one bitter and one sweet) as well as the spring onions round everything off and it's a taste explosion in the mouth. For €7 (as of November 2024) an absolutely fair price. The nice ladies behind the counter are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The Bao’s are a 10/10.

The buns are really very good. The staff is very kind. A few more seats would be comfortable but I understand that this is the space available within the market.
