We tried two bao buns – the Korean Fried Chicken and the Bali Chicken – and both were absolutely fantastic. The flavors are spot-on and perfectly balanced. Excellent food, highly recommended! Next time, we’ll definitely go for the Pulled Pork and Shrimp Buns – can’t wait.

Very tasty, a bit hyped, of course, but it's worth it. If you arrive on tram number 4, you can't miss it. The M52 is at the other end of the market.

Oh my God, it’s so delicious! A clear recommendation for the food truck, one of the best things I’ve eaten so far. I will always get these bao buns whenever I’m in Amsterdam. The staff are also incredibly nice and friendly ☺️

We went there because of the many good reviews on social media. It cost €7, which is quite a lot for the amount. The taste was okay. If you don't like spicy food, you might not like it. It was a very crowded place, with only three chairs for the crowd. I wouldn't go there again.

Absolutely amazing baos! We got the Pulled jackfruit and the Korean chicken baos. The Pulled jackfruit Bao was one of the best vegetarian dishes I have ever had! 🥰 The staff was friendly and full of energy :) You have to wait a bit for the food but totally worth the wait!

A MUST for every trip to Amsterdam! Since 2022 we have been visiting this store regularly on our Amsterdam vacations at different times of the year. We have eaten bao buns in different countries and this is definitely one of the best. The quality is also constant and very good. We visited the store several days in a row and always had a very good taste experience. We ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Buns. The buns are incredibly fluffy and the portion is generous. There are big fried chicken pieces in the bun and it's not stingy. The coleslaw and the two sauces (one bitter and one sweet) as well as the spring onions round everything off and it's a taste explosion in the mouth. For €7 (as of November 2024) an absolutely fair price. The nice ladies behind the counter are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The Bao’s are a 10/10.

I was craving bao buns, so i went to visit the albert cuyp with my friend to have some here. They were so tasty! I had the korean chicken, which was quite crunchy and flavourful. My friend had the one with jackfruit, which she also enjoyed. She never had jackfruit before and said it tasted just like pulled pork. Staff was friendly as well, so i can definitely recommend this place!

I was in such a mood for bao buns that I went especially to the Albert Cuypstraat in Amsterdam. It was my first time too. Nice street! You can also take Metro 52 and get off at De Pijp at Vijzelgracht. The staff was very friendly. I only ordered Korean chicken Bao buns. The bun was so soft and the chicken so juicy, and it had some spice too. Tasty! I will definitely come back again.

Good position on the market and better service. Everything neat. A high point is the prawn bath, recommended. The gyozas are also correct.

delicious food and you have to try this food Pricing are reasonable considering the complex garnishing, how freshly made it is and quality of ingredients. Once we visited it was not that crowded next time it was very crowded, both times the quality of the food stayed the same. Definitely try while visiting Albert Cuyp Market. We waited for 30 minutes this time but worths it. I appreciate the recipes and people working. They keep smiling and cheer up when they are obviously working very hard for preparation and whole day while serving the food.

You must try Bunsbar it was such awesome experience of food taste and service. I tried the Korian fried chicken it was made of bun bread which gave the taste of softness, fried chicken, lettuce, coleslaw and sauce. It cost about 7€ and also i tried gyoza and actually it was my first time and i enjoyed it much. The place itself good if you would like to have a street food adventure around Amsterdam. The staff was decent and speak English fluently

Best buns of my life! I had the pulled pork bun and it was really a taste experience! I'm here on my birthday and I have a "Birthday Girl" crown on, the girls gave me a little gift of some goodies from the appetizers, so sweet!! 10/10 recommendation 😍

We were there today and had the Bali Chicken Saté and Korean Crispy Chicken buns. They were very tasty and the service was friendly. Just an advice: to add one more table for clients to eat there as many people could not enjoy their purchased buns we recognized. Otherwise nothing else to comment on the great place there!!

Really kind service and amazing food. The buns are incredible, as well as the filling. The cost benefit is quite good and the food is quickly ready. The gyoza also tastes really good, specially the chicken one. I would recommend it to everyone.

Worth the wait, worth the walk, worth whatever it takes. Not just the buns, the fillings are also works of culinary art. Only problems are; not over-ordering and coping with the inevitable cravings 72+ hours later. Korean chicken is a miracle but maybe the Sate is better...

Terrible. Today i went to get one bao because i was craving for it and when i arrived i asked to the girl the chicken one. I specific ask if i could have out the spicy sauces because i have a problem with my belly plus i am pregnant and cannot have spicy. She told me that the saus wasnt spicy but sweet. So i did trust her. I order it and ofc was super spicy!!! Yes ofc its personal : for me can be more spicy than for others , my husband eat the most spicy things in the world and he could say it was spicy as well. So her mistake. And thank god i am not allergic or who knows what. Than when we went back to tell her that indeed was spicy she just didnt care at all. Didnt offer to remake it , and we just had to order a new one without sauces, so dry as hell because there is no choice of saus except spicy ones. For me is a NO. Service is terrible.
