Reading the reviews I guess I shouldve ordered the noodles instead of Fried Rice with shrimp. Rice was hard, dry with burnt bits. Plain fried rice with 8 medium sized shrimp bits on top… for 17 euro and some. New in the neighbourhood really was hoping their fries rice would be good.

They didn’t take my note on allergies in consideration. I put the note even though the dish according to their site didn’t contain sesame seeds, just to be sure. After the delivery I tried to call them but they were unreachable by phone. Now the food can go to waste since it’s covered in sesame seeds. After this review the restaurant got in contact with me and were great with the reimbursement. Apparently there were phone issues and that’s why they were not reachable. The sesame seeds part was an honest mistake and I’m excited to order next time with them.

Beef , veggies , rice and noddles! Everything was amazing. Great price - quality- quantity match. Would STRONGLY recommend !!! Oh and super fast delivery. Has to be repeated, soon

Lovely spot, good value for money!

Always fast delivery, price/quality is great (order via their own website), consistent quality. And they especially have very nice delivery guys (I think they work for the company?). Many other delivery guys (for example UBER) can learn from them.

Really lazy online service. I don’t know about in person as I’ve only ever ordered online. But the online customer support is terrible

LOVE Originals, we order from here at least twice a month. Consistently amazing food, great packaging, fast, just all around awesome place. One of our favorites for over 3 years now. BUT PLEAAAASE add all main options to all the meals/menus on the delivery platforms (and your website). I live for your Sizzling pepper beef and i can't get it when ordering with friends because it's not included in the emperor meal and in the deluxe meal only on some platforms. It's not the only dish that is not findable in the meals. EDIT: they did it folks! Hats off and thank you for the fast reaction!

it is a takeaway/delivery restaurant, we got it ourselves. the case looks neat. The food is very tasty and highly recommended.

Great restaurant, service was prompt and the food was delicious and well priced. It's nice that you can buy a couple menu! We'll be back. You can eat there, but it is more for takeaway.

Too bad they don't keep their agreements. Ordered for more than 30 euros (1 dish + 1 side dish. The wrong one was delivered. Called immediately. Was promised everything, money back for the dish and confirmation on my telephone number. Nothing delivered. Very unfortunate. Order somewhere else next time.

The babi pangang or 'fatty pig' was not tasty this time. The part that should normally be crispy was now very tough and spongy. It really wasn't chewable. Too bad, normally the quality is good.

Already ordered a number of times and everything is super tasty and hot! A real favourite.

The food is great but the restaurant has some weird policies. Once they delivered me wrong ica cream and I was fine to swap that to right one since they are in sealed packages. But last time they made two times pork when I ordered one and they forgot fried rice. I called and requested the rice and they asked me to return the other pork. Usually restaurants don’t do this because it’s their mistakes and frankly not very hygienic to ask the food back and possibly give it to another customer?! I could have invited the delivery guy just come in and confirm Originals indeed made mistakes but I gave the pork back without complaining at that moment. However I haven’t been able to shake this feeling they might have just sold it to another customer. The thought of that scares me especially after reading people’s reviews of food tasting like microwaved. That would point out the food is recycled. Since they gave me wrong product already two times I would be afraid of getting food that came back from another customer

Really missed the Chinese food at home. So glad I found this restaurant! Portions are generous and very affordable too.

Looked like a decent take-out store in my dad's neighborhood and decided to go for the Kung Fu Chicken with rice. But a major let down was that the rice was heavily undercooked so it was still hard. Bought this for my dad and he didn't enjoy the rice at all. Not sure how yall got the 4.3 star overall rating.

I have always ordered at this restaurant but never I have experienced something like this and I feel very disturbed about it. I ordered my food today and according to the delivery guy he had been ringing my bell 3 times which unfortunately I did hear only once and ran outside. I hear my neighbors and it seemed the deliverery guy had been trying to reach a way to get the food to me. When I went outside to ask for him to ring the bell again because am not able to open the door if he doesn’t ring it again. Then the neighbor explains that he has been ringing the wrong bell either way i try to explain that he should just ring the bell again so I can just get my food. To cut the story short the way this delivery guy spoke in such an aggressive and arrogant manner made me feel very bad I almost asked for him to get the food back this is in no way to speak to any client. You shout for the whole neighbors to hear what kind of service is this why must the whole neighborhoods hear your voice? Even my neighbor said she will stay with me which is an old lady and found his behavior very very rude. Is really not ok. There is always a way to talk to each other in a amicable way. I called the restaurant to explain this worrisome behavior and they tell me is probably a frustration because he has other orders. Totally understandable. But never it is ok to speak in such a manner!!!! No matter what we must try to be patient and kind to one another!!! Disappointed!!!!! All of this service and spend 45euros. Sometimes I feel is not worth it!!! I strongly think I won’t order here again. Service is highly important!!!

We ordered take-out which got delivered smoothly on time and hot. The food itself was really great we loved the peking duck and the red pig. We ordered way too much so we can even enjoy it tomorrow(The share meal is really big hahahahah). All in all great lovely chinese food.

Ordered here on Saturday evening. It was delivered within 15 minutes, blazing hot! It was flavorful and plenty of it, delicious. (The Classic medium with fried noodles, and The Golden Egg medium with fried rice)

I recently tried a takeaway from and it was a good experience. Their 'Red Pig' dish is a standout – flavorful, well-portioned, and simply delicious. For anyone looking for tasty Asian food on the go. Highly recommended!

We ordered online. Its our fav Chinese food place for ordering in. There was a problem with our order. The restaurant solved it to our satisfaction. We will be returning!

I ordered food for the first time today and it certainly wasn't the last time. Very tasty food! I had the Fatty Pig with fried rice. Good portion and super tasty. I'm also glad that I found a good address nearby to refer the guests of our hotel to. I will eat in the restaurant again soon.

Fast and on time, good hot taste perfect just a shame I forgot Fanta instead I got a coke and ice cream all in all delicious

Redelijk snelle bezorging. Maar ik heb een probleem ondervonden: Ik had rundvlees besteld, maar ik weet vrijwel zeker dat dit varkensvlees is. De textuur lijkt helemaal niet op rundvlees en het smaakt er ook niet naar. Vanbinnen is het roze, terwijl het niet rauw lijkt. Het is gewoon in een donkere saus gemarineerd zodat het op rundvlees zou lijken lijkt het wel op. Als dit echt varkensvlees is, is dat niet oke. —- Dear Originals, Thank you for your reply. To your credit, the food aside from the meat was nice and fresh. But the meat was no good. I can send you my order details so you can check what may have gone wrong. However issuing a refund or anything else will not be necessary. Just please do not serve pork as beef again because it’s for a good reason that many people don’t eat it. (And if it was actual beef, then the meat was bad enough to taste like a different animal. 👎🏻)

Vandaag voor de eerste keer besteld. De Hawaiian goodness met fried rice was heerlijk! Goede porties, warm en smaakvol. De bezorging duurde precies een uur wat ook mijn voorkeur was. Ik zal zeker weer een keer bestellen!

Small space, polite enough staff, the food was decent - I'd go again.

Hier al een aantal keer besteld en laten bezorgen. Ze staan met een half uur voor je neus. Eten was weer top. We hadden de black eyed beef en fatty pig! Royale portie’s, niets verkeerds aan!

Had food delivered. Food was tasty, but too much for too little sauce/topping, and cutlery/chopsticks that we had paid extra for was forgotten.

Good food, we took noodles! It was quite tasty and good portions. But the delivery was quite late, almost an hour.

Amazing food again. Never leave reviews but I am enjoying the food to much to not do it. Ordered the black eyed beef, curry blessed chicken and the commoners pot. All of them were great and the spring rolls tasted very good too! Will order again

Zojuist heb ik hier de Commoner's Pot Medium + Fried Rice afgehaald. Had de hele dag nog niks gegeten en dit was een van de meest gulle porties die ik ooit heb ontvangen bij een restaurant voor die prijs. Veel eieren en kip. Ook vriendelijke service aan de balie. Voor de echte heavyweights raad ik aan om dit gerecht te bestellen als je honger hebt en waarde voor je geld wil.

Originals gisteren voor het eerst besteld en we hebben super lekker gegeten (zalm en beef +gebakken rijst). Het werd snel geleverd en was nog hartstikke warm. Smaak was top en flinke porties. Enige minpuntje: heel veel ui bij de zalm, iets meer andere groenten was top geweest. Wij gaan hier zeker weer bestellen + komen snel een keer langs 👍 dank.

Vegetarian options are tasty too. We tried gyoza’s, honkong omelette, silky tofu and noodles in meal for 2, it is more than enough for 2 people.

We vragen heel erg af wat er gebeurd is.. We hebben zeker een stuk of 10 keer besteld afgelopen 3 jaar. Laatste 2 keer is de kwaliteit echt gigantisch gedaald om een of andere reden. Grote stukken ui, vlees minder mals, saus anders... we snappen er niks van. Het is nog steeds best lekker en prijs/kwaliteit redelijk goed. Maar de 8 keer ervoor was het echt top kwaliteit. En nu is er blijkbaar echt iets veranderd sfgelopen jaar

Oooh boy!! 😱😱 Second time I ordered take out from Originals and it’s simply amazing. We ordered so far sizzling pepper beef, green powerhouse and street style noodles. All 3 dishes were awesome. Weekly orders for sure will come 😊

Haben uns ein Menü für 2 Personen zusammen stellen lassen und in unser Hotel liefern lassen. Nach nichtmal 20 Minuten war das Essen super heiß und frisch angekommen. Sehr freundlicher Fahrer und Riesen Mengen essen für echt vernünftige Preise. Super lecker und frisch wie gesagt. Auch die Getränke waren richtig kalt. Würde im nächsten Urlaub wieder dort bestellen :)

Ik vond het eten niet zo bijzonder. Wel verse groenten maar de curry saus leek zo uit een potje te komen. Gemiste kans!

Hele slechte afhandeling klacht. Ik heb twee gerechten besteld waar de rijst was vergeten. Het voorstel was een coupon voor twee rijst te geven voor volgende bestelling. Daarmee was deze maaltijd natuurlijk niet compleet en was ik niet tevreden. Dan konden ze ook de rijst na leveren, maar dat was natuurlijk ook niet zo prettig want dan waren de groente en vlees weer koud. Uiteindelijk wilden ze wel twee hele nieuwe gerechten sturen dit keer met rijst maar dan moesten we wel de incomplete gerechten van de eerste bestelling meegeven aan de bezorger. Advies: als je een fout maakt, los het dan gewoon op en onderhandel niet je weg uit een klacht. Een slechte smaak van in mijn mond gekregen en dat had geen eens te maken met de kwaliteit van de kok. NAGEKOMEN BERICHT: Zojuist gebeld door restaurant en werd aangeboden om het geld terug te storten. Super opgelost! Nare smaak is weer weg en ik verander mijn rating van * naar ****

Het is oké, een soort MC Donalds. Je krijgt altijd iets wat eetbaar is. De L portie is enorm. In één maaltijd obees. Heel zout, wel verse groenten

An excellent reference point for Chinese food in Amsterdam.

I was looking forward to ordering from here but it turned out to be pretty mediocre. The crispy items weren’t crispy, and the sauces were very westernized (and not for the better), however the portion sizes were good and delivery was prompt.

Thoughtful staff. The coffe is the best one I've tried in Amsterdam. French toasts are super! Beautiful quiet inside lounge.

Ordered at a very busy time, so delivery took a while. After an amazing dinner (we ordered the golden egg and commoner's pot, both of which were super scrumptious), the restaurant called to apologise (!!) and offered a 50% discount. Now that's service! Will be back to pay them their dues. 10/10 would recommend.

We where hungry and ordered too much food. It was delicious, even the day after. Some might say it is slightly westernized but I think this was done exactly to the right extent. So more authentic than the typical Chinese takeout.

Meerdere keren eten afgehaald, het is altijd heerlijk en super vers!
