I ordered The Real Bite, it tasted decent, they did however forget the lettuce. The bacon tasted quite good. The fries are crispy. They do sometimes forget something.

This place is magnificent- the quality ingredients, the freshness of the food and the service is top tier. Highly recommend their Dutch Fries with Truffle Mayo- the fries are so crispy and delicious and the leftovers were even amazing after 30 minute train ride home! The Real Bite burger was phenomenal- the contrast of the bacon and caramelized onions and the delicious burger sauce is a bite I won’t soon forget!

Burgers were good but very expensive. The service staff were slow and often rude. Most times i would wait for 20 minutes for my take away order. They got the orders wrong a few times and argued aggressively when I complained. Twice, they also gave my order to someone else. I stopped going there because of the awful staff.

Everything was very good, the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a gluten-free sandwich and a regular one, both excellent. We also had the fries, truffle mayo, and cheddar cheese, all fantastic.

Went to Amsterdam with a friend and stopped by for a quick meal... Ended up having a great experience! The food was delicious and the Italian and the Colombian guys behind the counter were incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure we were satisfied. The Italian guy really took great care of us and gave us great recommendations about what to try that we absolutely enjoyed. Honestly, we'll remember him just as much as the delicious food. Excellent food and even better service. We'll definitely be back next time we are in Amsterdam

Hello dear friends, I'm not going to be sharing all the best places in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, this time my post isn't very successful. In fact, it's very bad. I don't know who rated this place, which I found on Tripadvisor and is considered the best for burgers, based on what criteria. @burgerbarnl is a burger joint with four branches in Amsterdam and six across the Netherlands. It's quite famous. They have two branches within walking distance of the Amsterdam train station. I tried the oldest one. It's been in business for 8-9 years. It's too small for 10 people to eat at once. The kitchen is right in front of you. Everything happens in a 15-square-meter area. The burger is weighed and cooked right in front of you. I'm one of those people who thinks a burger should be heavy. When I saw the 270g burger, I immediately ordered it, of course. They use 3 different types of burger meat. 2017 Prices Irish Beef (€6.45) Angus Beef (€8.75) and Kobe-style Wagyu Beef (€14.25) I paid twice as much for the same burger. Unfortunately, I didn't get the flavor I was looking for. Reading the menu, I bristled at the fact that there were cheap vendors trying to market Wagyu as Kobe. Where's Wagyu, where's Kobe? What they sell as Wagyu isn't actually Wagyu! They're just squandering meat that isn't even Angus. It's probably Irish beef, which I've never even tasted. While cooking the burger in front of me, I warned them several times about overcooking it, but they cooked it as they pleased. I ordered the burger to be cooked medium rare, but when it was cooked medium rare, it tasted like charcoal. The meat is already terrible, and the cooking is terrible. Consequently, it was an unpleasant burger experience. Where's the Wagyu burger I had at Lombardo's last week? Where's the crappy burger I had here? I'm already starting to get really turned off by @tripadvisor. It's not a reliable source at all. Taste: 1.8, Quality/Price: 2.4 I wouldn't recommend it.

Amazing service, the three guys working the place really made all the difference. They even caught a mistake in our order that we would have totally missed and fixed it on the spot. Kept walking around to reset serviettes and clean up and asked us if we enjoyed everything once done. The burgers came out steaming hot and fast, with fries to match. We also tried the Irish beef burger and would order it again without hesitation. The “Smash from Hell” burger could have been spicier, but everything else was perfect. Easily one of the best burger spots in Amsterdam.

The people who work here are chill, but my goodness, the meat has absolutely no taste. Maybe being a burger griller myself has ruined how a good burger should taste like. The meat tastes really cheap.

Even though they got half of our order wrong (no pickles means no pickles, guys - and cheesy fries without cheese is just fries), the food was still great and we weren't about to make a ruckus over it. Fries were great, burger was juicy and delicious. In and out in half an hour, like a burger joint ought to be.

I had a lunch deal (menu) for €10,95. Hamburger and french fries were very delicious. Staff were very friendly as well.

I ordered just a burger, it was delicious and light, not nauseating, but I think the price is high, the seating is very ordinary, and the music is annoying inside the restaurant.

Fast service. Good bread and perfect, plentiful fries. I don't recommend the special menu. There's so little meat you can't taste it. It's a shame because the ingredients are good. The drinks are terribly warm. If I go back, I'll pay more and get another sandwich.

I ordered 2 Angus burgers, some toppings and fries via uber eats. First of all, they forgot to put fries that I ordered. Then the quality of burgers was not up to their standards. It came overly wet with sauce, no taste whatsoever and they put so small amount of additional stuffs (like jalapenos). As a result, you end up with a random assortment of ingredients that never come together into a tasty burger. Maybe it’s a one time thing, but it was quite disappointing experience for me and my wife.

I had dinner there a couple of nights ago. I payed at the bar but the barman was also busy preparing burgers. So when the payment was confirmed, he was not there to check. Then I sat down and after some minutes one of my friends came back to find me cause the barman was saying that my payment haven't gone through. So I went and paid again, but I checked my bank account and I had there the two payments on my card. When I showed them to the barman, he showed me that there was only one payment on their system. Clearly, one of the systems was wrong, either my bank or their system. The barman assured me that my bank will retire one of the payments but this morning both payments have been cashed. From my perspective, in this case, when there is a clear conflict between the client and the business and both have proof of what they are saying, the maxima of the client being right MUST be applied. Now, Burgerbar have been paid twice and I have been stolen. With this experience I cannot recommend this bar even if the food is quite good.

The Egyptian employee's treatment is not good

A fast-food restaurant with few seating areas. Their burgers are so amazing we came back for more. The restaurant's Arab and Muslim owners replaced the sauce in the burgers with a halal variety. The menu offers three or four types of burgers, and you can design your own dish. I recommend everyone visit.

On a recent trip to Amsterdam I passed by for a burger, I hadn’t been here for a few years but it used to be an old favorite. Unfortunately it definitely wasn’t as good as it used to be, I went for the wagyu burger, I found it under seasoned and quite average in flavor and the burger bun was dry. The biggest disappointment was the decision to take bacon off the menu and replace it with beef “bacon”. I have no problem with it being an option, but to remove real bacon was a terrible idea. Overall experience was a dry, tasteless, overpriced burger, I’ll be looking elsewhere in the future and hope that the beef bacon doesn’t become a new trend

I don't think Europe is very successful when it comes to burgers. Based on the number of reviews and ratings, I haven't yet been to a burger place that I've been very happy with. This one was pretty standard, but the fries were delicious. Unless you ask for it, they cook the burgers medium-well, which leaves the inside a bit reddish. I'd also say the meat is unsalted.

Got a burger and fries. Got a second burger, because the first one was so good. Staff is super sweet! Got to try a new sauce which was also amazing! Can recommend, perfect for a late night food coma.

Taste: The burger is sooo delicious. The fries are so flavorless. The fries — no flavor at all, just eat them out of respect for the food. The service was bad from the staff, which is different from other restaurants where they are welcoming and helpful. The place gets hot during the summer.

When you eat a hamburger, you feel like you are eating real meat. I recommend you try it. Online ordering is available. There are also different options. Only the smashed one is crushed and made. The others are in the form of a normal burger.

Very decent burgers, good price. IMO liked somehow more Dandy's burgers, but this ones are also very good. Plus location is great. Inside it's more like a street food and not cosy, BUT you have Rembrandtplein nearby, so not a big deal. Worse to try for sure :)) Especially good for a quick lunch/branch.. Service is fast

The burger was very, very good! The service, however, was terrible. The place was dirty. It's not practical to order using the only screen they have. The ordering screen is always dirty. The menu selection is very confusing. Opportunity to buy that business and make a great place.

Horrible service. It’s the second time I come to this place and they were very un polite both times. I ordered in uber eats for pickup and canceled the order by error. I couldn’t revert my mistake, but called the store to let them know that i still wanted it. They said it was ok and that they were preparing it. We double checked with them we would be able to get our order and they confirmed it. When we got there they knew who we were, but said that the order was canceled after we called, which was definitely not true. The order was charged and we never got our food. Both people working there treated us poorly (Jun 21st night) They really dont know what customer service means.

Although I wanted to give this review only one star, to be honest, it's a place where you can eat one of the best burgers in Amsterdam — I just hope the owner takes action regarding the service provided by the staff. Today I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this place, even though I’ve been coming here for over two years specifically for their XL burger. I ordered it again today and made it very clear that I wanted the meat cooked rare — just slightly done. I’m fully aware that their standard is medium-well, but as a loyal customer, I politely asked for this small change. The person who took my order was understanding and even marked it correctly on the ticket. However, the chef completely disregarded my request and cooked the burger well-done anyway. When I pointed this out, the chef responded in a rude and dismissive way, telling me “these are the owner's rules” and that he “won’t risk losing his job because of me.” Honestly, a ridiculous excuse — I wasn’t asking for anything extreme, and I almost begged him to just cook it slightly less. Instead of offering to fix the mistake, he coldly said he would just refund the burger, and that was it. No apology, no effort to make it right. Very unprofessional, and definitely not the experience I’ve come to expect after being a loyal customer for so long.

Correct. We had 2 burgers: Smash from Hell and Real Bite. The Hell sauce isn't really spicy, so I liked it. However, the other burger seemed bland compared to the other burger. The steak was too thick. 1 large fries would have been enough for 2. It's still expensive, but you can feel the quality, and the burgers were well-sauced.

Great Burger. Would be 5 stars if they didn't "nickel and dime" you for everything including ketchup but I guess that's the Dutch way. Irish Beef was good, the chicken sandwich my friend had looked delicious and she said it was. All in all a safe bet for a gourmet burger.

Was always good. Only went downhill when I needed to order with the display. Guy wasn’t doing anything and I still needed to order with the display. And that way you can only order 1 topping. So I’m paying €16 for an hamburger that’s not the way I want it and the guy wasn’t going to do 1 step extra.
