HABBEKRATS X Burgers 'n Sweets in Westlandgracht

Turned up here on the off-chance and there was space. It's a bit of a mish-mash space, some arty and sign writing stuff going on, brewery and bar and a kitchen. We had the special of the day, chicken skewers in a curried sauce, fries and coleslaw. Not bad and very filling. Couple drinks at the bar. Staff were good, very laid back as is the style these days.

Easily the best fries I have ever eaten. At €11 per portion they are definitely on the expensive side, but the level of complexity makes them worth trying. They come loaded with bacon, cheese, truffle mayonnaise, parsley, and a crunchy element that adds another layer of texture. Everything works together surprisingly well, creating a rich, indulgent, and incredibly satisfying combination. Not exactly everyday fries, but when they are this good, humanity’s decision to complicate potatoes suddenly makes perfect sense.

The restaurant is very small and crowded. The beef burger was good and large, but I wouldn't go back.

My experience with Mr. Rouhana was absolutely wonderful. He is a very respectful and ethical person, his manner is refined, and his service is excellent. He was keen on customer satisfaction and provided a truly exceptional experience with great attention. Best burgers ! I loved the freshness of the products. I had the black angus burger with cheddar onions and jalapeños. I could highly recommend this place. The staff that works there are working efficient and hygienically. I’ll be back for more delicious burgers.
