Easily the best fries I have ever eaten. At €11 per portion they are definitely on the expensive side, but the level of complexity makes them worth trying. They come loaded with bacon, cheese, truffle mayonnaise, parsley, and a crunchy element that adds another layer of texture. Everything works together surprisingly well, creating a rich, indulgent, and incredibly satisfying combination. Not exactly everyday fries, but when they are this good, humanity’s decision to complicate potatoes suddenly makes perfect sense.

Honestly, these are the best spicy fries with ketchup I've ever had. The set menu was quite reasonably priced, and the burger was good too. The service was excellent, super friendly and welcoming, and even though I'm not very Dutch, I highly recommend it.

The fries are delicious. Especially this special is worth a try. You can order truffle mayonnaise sauce as well. The atmosphere is cute, nice to have cute dining area.

Super yummy burgers. The spicy ketchup is sooo good!! And the truffle mayo for fries was epic!!! The burger here are not only delicious but crafted to perfection!

We came across this particular shop while wandering around the city of Amsterdam. We decided to go in and try the Burger and Fries. The food was tasty, not anything special, but good. The guys working there were very helpful and polite and above all very fast! The worst part of our experience was the strong smell of the pancake which was really unbearable after a while.

Service not great, no vegan options, tables were available but they would not open the area for us - group of 7 people

Unfortunately, I couldn't understand the high rating; they say it's award-winning, but what kind of award? There are much better burger places in Amsterdam. The meat was very tough and dry. The place felt worn, cramped, and didn't feel clean. Only the staff were good, that's all.

The best fries all over the world

A bit pricey, not much to choose from, and the waiters aren't very friendly.

The food was decent, but the cheddar sauce was a real disappointment. Aside from that, the fries were still good, and the Korean burger too…

I haven't tried their hamburgers, but I liked their fries. Their signature Fries of Mine were especially delicious. They make them without pork when you order them, which I appreciated. If you like Parmesan and truffle, you should definitely give this particular flavor a try.

Great spot in Amsterdam to grab a quick bite. The Korean chicken's fire and the fries are on point. I'll come back next time I’m here.

When we saw the restaurant online we were excited to try it - our excitement dropped really fast though. The cashier was nice and the portions aren't bad but that's the only positives I could find. The Korean Chicken Burger was mid, the sauce and chicken were good but the bun was dry and looked a little "overdone". The fries were okay, nothing good or bad to say about em, the basil sauce wasn't good, it tasted very artificial. The thing that stuck out most tho was that none of the tables were clean and the whole store smelled a little musty, I can't really describe the smell but it was VERY present. Unfortunately I think that our money would have been better spend at a different place

Delicious burgers and fries, the menu selection is phenomenal. All burgers can be made vegetarian for a small additional charge, and the fries come with a variety of sauces. The staff is very friendly. The quality of the food itself is outstanding and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Very good fries with toppings. The Oh Sweet Cheeses burger tasted good, but unfortunately there wasn't enough cheese and the meat had a lot of gristle. Otherwise, it was really delicious. Lots of people, lots of noisy people. But the restaurant can't be blamed for that. 😉

We ordered three hamburgers, a cone of fries, a water, a Coke, and a lemonade. The total was 60 euros. We asked for a hamburger without pickles, and they made a mistake. Even though we ordered just meat and cheese for our daughter's hamburger, they charged us the full 13 euro price. The fries, which were awarded the title of best (?) of 2020, were pretty average. There's a McDonald's 150 meters away; if you want to eat hamburgers in Amsterdam, save your money and eat there.

Stopped by during a shopping day at Kalverstraat and was pleasantly surprised by how fast and friendly the service was. Food came quickly and tasted great. Perfect place for a break while exploring the area.

Fries were not fried long enough, hence soggy and barely seasoned. Also very greasy and portion sizes have gotten smaller. No soap in bathroom either

Unique location in the shopping center. I ordered a burger and fries and had a nice chat with the person who helped me with my order. Time flew by, and I walked away with my order full of anticipation! It was a real treat, and I definitely recommend this to-go option! You can also sit inside to eat your order, but it was pleasantly busy.

Fries 5/5 Burger 1/5 The fries are amazing. They are crunchy on the outside and super fluffy inside. Seriously good. The burger however was an extreme disappointment. When I saw him take out a frozen patty my expectations already got destroyed. And for the price it got smashed to pieces. First bite? Hot patty, ice cold thick sliced tomato and piece of butter lettuce too big for the bun. If you want great fries, go here. If you want a great beef burger, don’t go here. Simple. They got best burger 2016 but I think it’s time to update their recipe a bit. 10 years is a lot of time.

A potato restaurant run by Sudanese and Eritrean Muslims. Their work is excellent. We've tried several potato shops, and they are the best, hands down. There's a well-known shop, but it's far from clean. I recommend this place.

I tried the signature fries with truffle mayo. Very tasty, just a little sauce. I ordered extra sauce, but had to wait 20 minutes before I got it. The fries were cold by the time I got back. That's a shame, but the food was still delicious!

Most amazing experience! We were visiting back in March. My daughter couldn’t choose what to order, so the nicest guy behind the counter invited her in to taste EVERYTHING!! The food is ok, average. But the negative review is due to the staff which is extremely rude, specially one guy with curly hair, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone due to the customer service, even if the fries are good.

We had been told to try some Dutch fries on our trip to Amsterdam. These were not bad at all. I had the Fries With Old Amsterdam Cheese and my wife had the Oorlog Combo. I liked hers better than the one I got but neither was bad. The combination of sauces and spices is just different in The Netherlands than in the US. I’d try them again but would pick something else.
