Fries we're okay, nothing special. They needed more salt, service was very slow, people were wondering if they missed their order because of the long wait. They have seats, which is why we ate there. But unfortunately they chips lacked flavour and I would not recommend.

The setting is nice but really very disappointed. The fries were not very good, the cheddar sauce had a very strange sweet taste and the bacon tasted like overly salty cut sausage. These where the best fries i have EVER had! My friend didnt have enough money and they gave the fries to him for free! The workers where also so kind and helpfull! The food was finished in 2 minutes and was very very yummy!

The gentleman who took my order was incredibly friendly. The fries came in a generous portion, and the sauce was priced separately, but it was generous (almost overflowing). It came out in less than a second after I ordered. Delicious and friendly!

We’ve had the combo meal with the Korean BBQ burger and it was delicious! Nice portion of fries and the burger had an especial and unique flavor. The iced tea was not too sweet, which I loved. I would just recommend to clean the tables a bit more often!

The food was delicious, but the service and atmosphere were less so. The menu isn't extensive, but what they do have is delicious. I found the staff a bit curt and unfriendly. The furniture needs replacing.

The cashier was so welcoming and trying to help in any way possible. He offered to fill up our water bottles with tap water and gave us cups with ice as well. Highly recommend the truffle mayo, cheddar cheese and Dutch curry sauces.

The food was ok for a tourist shop. The service was HORRIBLE and the employees were rude. We were not allowed to sit inside because we bought “too little” to be allowed to sit. Overrated.

I came here and I had no charge on my phone, The lady (Ilenia) was really kind and she went to get me a charger, in the meantime I tried their fries with sausages, It was one of the best fries I had.

Staff was super friendly and suggested I try the truffle mayo — absolute game changer. Fries were crispy perfection. Must-visit spot if u love good vibes and better fries.

We happened in last night and were so glad we did! The food wasn’t delicious and the staff were wonderful. They all seemed to be having a great time, singing and chatting. It was infectious! Would definitely go again!

Zero zero. Ungrateful and dishonest staff, not attentive to the customer. Charges us €22.50 for an order that we never placed. We ask to be reimbursed and we are sent away. I strongly advise against it for tourists.

Always a staple while shopping in Amsterdam! When we go shopping in the city, we normally start on the Nieuwendijk and end halfway along the Kalverstraat at Termarsch & Co (number 96) for our favorite stop: delicious fries. The fries are always fresh, crispy and perfectly flavored – just the way you like them. The staff is friendly and works quickly, so you never have to wait long, even on busy days. We recently heard that there is also a branch on the Flower Market - that will be our next stop on the next day in Amsterdam. Highly recommended for anyone who likes good fries and wants to be helped quickly with a smile.

Modern and cool atmosphere, with good options to eat right there. We tried the potato with truffle sauce, which was excellent. The price was ok and there were good tables to enjoy the meal at a leisurely pace.

Very disappointed with this chip shop where the fries are bad. Comparing to nearby chip shops: - Good and original sauces but very poorly cooked fries (shame for a chip shop) - Prices twice as expensive - Very long wait It may have been exceptional, given the positive reviews, but in my experience it's better to walk 5 minutes more and try the nearby chip shops which are much better.

I give them 3 stars even though the burgers are good, because they are not served with potatoes. We ordered the Bali Spice Fries and it turns out that it is a scam because the bowl comes pushed towards the bottom. Since potatoes are by far the cheapest product, we do not understand why you do not serve the entire bowl.

The kindest staff ever. We had a reservation for a museum and we didn’t realize we had to leave almost immediately after we had already ordered and payed, it was our mistake. The staff was extremely kind and let us come back later to get our order. We ordered classic fries with mayonnaise and it was really delicious, and the best fries we’ve had in Amsterdam. They made a small mistake with our order, so they gave it to us on the house. Thank you again for the kindness and the delicious food 😊

Place right in the center, apparently very touristy, but that pleasantly surprised me. After a morning walking around, I needed a bathroom and I was struck by the blackboard on which they indicate the cleaning every hour: in fact it was impeccable, which is not a given in such a central area. As for the cone of French fries, the best of the whole vacation! Highly recommended!

Best fries of Amsterdam, mostly due to their basilicum cream that really puts the focus on their loaded fries. This really is the one place for fries in the city! I would definitely go again if I ever have the chance. Great for a quick lunch in a nice setting.

All tables were dirty and we had to ask a worker to clean it. It smelled bad and the food was kind of bizzare. We were here 2 years ago and it was way better.

I would not recommend this place. They let us order and then when we got our food they said that we need to leave in ten minutes due to closing (which was not until 40 minutes after) The patty was not tasty. The only good thing was the cola zero and the exterior (nice history). McDonald’s would have been a better option.

We entered out of curiosity because there were several of these places, although not from the same chain, throughout the city and we entered this one because it looked good to us and there was a line, always where there is a line it is good. And as we thought, it is a place with fries to which you can add sauces or some cheese topping, balconies, etc. But they are still fries and in my opinion nothing more. We also ordered some hamburgers and they were just so good. I'm not saying that it's bad, but that for so much expectation that these places in the city have, something surprising is expected. Affordable price. This particular place is not very big, it has an upstairs, but people go crazy taking tables, it was a little overwhelming. We sat in one that the guy at the bar told us to do and since there were 4 people, another guy took it and sat down. They do not serve on the table. They are fast serving.

Fries are good but burger is very very dry. They say that they are award winner for burger and fries but it is not even a decent burger.

We have been hankering for Dutch fries and accidentally found ourselves here and were delighted to see they had lots of indoor seating as a lot of the other places we saw were the usual venders where you had to stand and eat or find a bench! Friendly staff and very speedy service, we had the “fries of mine” and wow - absolutely amazing, just what we needed after all the walking around 😋 (added photo from the ladies toilet I found the picture funny)

Unhygienic and tasteless. Garbage cans, drawers and burgers are touched without washing your hands in between. Service unfriendly. Fries taste like old oil and the burgers like curry. Unfortunately I absolutely cannot understand the hype

The fries at Ter Marsch & Co are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and very well seasoned. The portion is generous (even the small one) and comes with sauces that enhance the flavor even more (the sauce is purchased separately). This store has traditional decor. The service is fast and friendly.

Good potatoes, they are good. But the truth is that the hamburger, in my opinion, leaves a lot to be desired, meat like the sole of a shoe, better hamburger at McDonald's without a doubt and cheaper to be honest. Good treatment from the staff.

It's completely understandable why these fries are award-winning! They're incredibly tasty, flavourful, and the sauce options are something I've never seen before. I couldn't finish an entire large portion, but it was absolutely amazing. In the photo, I got the large portion with garlic mayo, parmesan cheese, and even added a basil sauce—it was flawless. If you're passing by, stop in, eat, and be happy! And my order was ready in less than 5 minutes.

The burger was very good, Very kind staff I recommend going up to the top floor to be able to enjoy the windows that directly overlook the main street. You can enjoy your fantastic sandwich in peace while watching the people go by.
