Zero zero. Ungrateful and dishonest staff, not attentive to the customer. Charges us €22.50 for an order that we never placed. We ask to be reimbursed and we are sent away. I strongly advise against it for tourists.

Always a staple while shopping in Amsterdam! When we go shopping in the city, we normally start on the Nieuwendijk and end halfway along the Kalverstraat at Termarsch & Co (number 96) for our favorite stop: delicious fries. The fries are always fresh, crispy and perfectly flavored – just the way you like them. The staff is friendly and works quickly, so you never have to wait long, even on busy days. We recently heard that there is also a branch on the Flower Market - that will be our next stop on the next day in Amsterdam. Highly recommended for anyone who likes good fries and wants to be helped quickly with a smile.

Modern and cool atmosphere, with good options to eat right there. We tried the potato with truffle sauce, which was excellent. The price was ok and there were good tables to enjoy the meal at a leisurely pace.

We found ourselves by chance and I would say how lucky we were to have awarded sandwiches 2025, not expensive and super recommended food!! Go there and you'll see! It will be a permanent stop

Best chips in Amsterdam and the friendliest staff!

Very disappointed with this chip shop where the fries are bad. Comparing to nearby chip shops: - Good and original sauces but very poorly cooked fries (shame for a chip shop) - Prices twice as expensive - Very long wait It may have been exceptional, given the positive reviews, but in my experience it's better to walk 5 minutes more and try the nearby chip shops which are much better.

We ate some vegetarian burgers and truffle fries. Good, reasonable price and quite fast service. Very friendly staff.

I give them 3 stars even though the burgers are good, because they are not served with potatoes. We ordered the Bali Spice Fries and it turns out that it is a scam because the bowl comes pushed towards the bottom. Since potatoes are by far the cheapest product, we do not understand why you do not serve the entire bowl.

I was satisfied.😀 Garlic Parmesan was fantastic and the chedder sauce was unforgettable.

The kindest staff ever. We had a reservation for a museum and we didn’t realize we had to leave almost immediately after we had already ordered and payed, it was our mistake. The staff was extremely kind and let us come back later to get our order. We ordered classic fries with mayonnaise and it was really delicious, and the best fries we’ve had in Amsterdam. They made a small mistake with our order, so they gave it to us on the house. Thank you again for the kindness and the delicious food 😊

Place right in the center, apparently very touristy, but that pleasantly surprised me. After a morning walking around, I needed a bathroom and I was struck by the blackboard on which they indicate the cleaning every hour: in fact it was impeccable, which is not a given in such a central area. As for the cone of French fries, the best of the whole vacation! Highly recommended!

Best fries of Amsterdam, mostly due to their basilicum cream that really puts the focus on their loaded fries. This really is the one place for fries in the city! I would definitely go again if I ever have the chance. Great for a quick lunch in a nice setting.

All tables were dirty and we had to ask a worker to clean it. It smelled bad and the food was kind of bizzare. We were here 2 years ago and it was way better.

I would not recommend this place. They let us order and then when we got our food they said that we need to leave in ten minutes due to closing (which was not until 40 minutes after) The patty was not tasty. The only good thing was the cola zero and the exterior (nice history). McDonald’s would have been a better option.

We entered out of curiosity because there were several of these places, although not from the same chain, throughout the city and we entered this one because it looked good to us and there was a line, always where there is a line it is good. And as we thought, it is a place with fries to which you can add sauces or some cheese topping, balconies, etc. But they are still fries and in my opinion nothing more. We also ordered some hamburgers and they were just so good. I'm not saying that it's bad, but that for so much expectation that these places in the city have, something surprising is expected. Affordable price. This particular place is not very big, it has an upstairs, but people go crazy taking tables, it was a little overwhelming. We sat in one that the guy at the bar told us to do and since there were 4 people, another guy took it and sat down. They do not serve on the table. They are fast serving.

We have been hankering for Dutch fries and accidentally found ourselves here and were delighted to see they had lots of indoor seating as a lot of the other places we saw were the usual venders where you had to stand and eat or find a bench! Friendly staff and very speedy service, we had the “fries of mine” and wow - absolutely amazing, just what we needed after all the walking around 😋 (added photo from the ladies toilet I found the picture funny)

Unhygienic and tasteless. Garbage cans, drawers and burgers are touched without washing your hands in between. Service unfriendly. Fries taste like old oil and the burgers like curry. Unfortunately I absolutely cannot understand the hype

The fries at Ter Marsch & Co are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and very well seasoned. The portion is generous (even the small one) and comes with sauces that enhance the flavor even more (the sauce is purchased separately). This store has traditional decor. The service is fast and friendly.

Good potatoes, they are good. But the truth is that the hamburger, in my opinion, leaves a lot to be desired, meat like the sole of a shoe, better hamburger at McDonald's without a doubt and cheaper to be honest. Good treatment from the staff.

It's completely understandable why these fries are award-winning! They're incredibly tasty, flavourful, and the sauce options are something I've never seen before. I couldn't finish an entire large portion, but it was absolutely amazing. In the photo, I got the large portion with garlic mayo, parmesan cheese, and even added a basil sauce—it was flawless. If you're passing by, stop in, eat, and be happy! And my order was ready in less than 5 minutes.

Excellent site! The waiter was very friendly, and the food was delicious. We paid €40 for two burgers and fries. Special mention to the potatoes, very delicious. They were fast. And we ate sitting inside the place, it was very comfortable.

The burger was very good, Very kind staff I recommend going up to the top floor to be able to enjoy the windows that directly overlook the main street. You can enjoy your fantastic sandwich in peace while watching the people go by.

This is a great place for a quick bite...the fries were super tasty. The service is friendly and super fast. Very busy and therefore there was no table available after us and there was a queue... but definitely worth the wait.

Saw the good reviews and that it is a chain, so we assumed the food would be quite decent. Couldn’t have been more wrong. Fries were dry and felt like they sat a long time after being cooked. The classic burger had an absolutely horrible taste and went straight to the trash. Oh cheesus burger was okey, but it seemed overcooked. When ordering we got asked like 3 times if we wanted a soda. Unfortunately I am not made of money and wasn’t thirsty enough to pay 3.6 euros for 300mls. I am mentioning this because after the third time, the server decided to crack some shitty joke about it: “Oh if you guys want to add salt it would be 10 euros. Inflation and all that.” DUDE, WE DID NOT WANT TO PAY 3.6 FOR A SMALL SODA. GET THE HINT AND STOP ASKING!!!

Chicken burger with ketchup? No. Service and music is nice but the quality of the burger leaves the senses wanting. Never had a worse chicken burger, beef burger was mediocre at best.

While visiting Amsterdam, we wanted to try their much talked about fries and this place was right on our way. First of all, I have to say that all the cheeses in Amsterdam are amazing and they go great with the fries. We preferred the old Amsterdam cheese, it is truly one of the best fries you can have as a snack! It had a very fresh pesto flavor and the fries were cooked very well. It did not feel oily and did not leave a bad taste in our mouths after we finished it. It did not absorb the oil in the box and soften after it cooled down, it was fried properly. The staff is very friendly and they answer your questions sincerely! If you want to snack a little, definitely try the fries from here!

They don't accept changes to the menu items. This is fine, but then the menu must be 100% accurate, and it isn't. I ordered "Fries Cheesy does it!" which doesn't mention red onion in the ingredients and isn't pictured with red onion, and yet it has red onion on it. I do not like red onion.

While walking down the street, we saw this restaurant and were very interested. Since it was lunch time, we went in and placed our order. In addition to the famous fries, we ordered three burgers. Everything was very good. The order was ready reasonably quickly. The fries were very crispy and with the accompaniments we ordered, truffle mayonnaise and grated parmesan, they were very tasty - a little difficult to pick up the potatoes without them getting a little wet, but no problem. The snacks were equally delicious, with very juicy meat. The environment is very cozy. We sat on the first floor. I recommend!
