A really great place to eat. The ingredients are fresh and the service is impeccable! It doesn't have to be complicated; if it's good, it's good.

Honestly, overall I wasn't impressed. The fries were delicious. The burgers were very average, almost bad. I ordered a Smash Burger, but I couldn't finish it because it smelled so fishy. Lastly, I have to mention the cashier. I don't know if he was Indian or what, and I can't say he was bad, but I didn't feel comfortable talking to him. He barely responded, as if he was being forced to.

The tastiest burger I have ever eaten in the Netherlands.

I had the classic chicken burger. The chicken was incredibly tender and still had plenty of juice. The dips for the fries were homemade and also very good. The sink in the dining area was a godsend.

Best burgers in Utrecht by far. I tried plenty of burger places, and find myself always coming back here. Staff is great as well, always with a smile and although the burgers are prepared fresh the waiting time is always a few minutes. It’s not just a regular burger restaurant, you will be pleasantly surprised. Fries are excellent as well !!

Expensive and disappointing. €30 for a small menu is a statement. Ordering took quite a long time, the floor was as greasy as butter, the burgers were off, and the fries weren't fried long enough. Burgerbar has dropped from a 10/10 to an all-time low in a short time; sad to see!

It used to be my favorite burguer in Utrecht. The buns were fresh and fluffy, the meat WAS delivered exactly as ordered (medium rare to rare). Now, even though I asked for medium rare, all our burguers were extremely well done - super dry. When we complained about the meat not being as requested we were bluntly ignored. Either the old management comes back or I wont eat/order anymore. So sad. The quality has dropped significantly

Whether Irish or Angus, they're all incredibly juicy and tasty. You should definitely treat yourself to the 250g burger 😋 Samurai and garlic sauce go perfectly with the fries! We waited for over an hour for our order, even though the website stated 20 minutes. After nearly an hour, I called the restaurant and was treated poorly. I was told to just wait, as our order was on its way. This took quite a while. Once delivered, the burgers and fries were completely cold. The burgers were dry and sparsely topped. And that for €60…… So, I won't be ordering again.

I recently had my first burger here, after having visited their other places in Amsterdam and The Hague over the years. I had the OG with a fried egg. Really nice burger, a hot and tasty medium well patty. The egg was fried perfectly too, the yolk just a little soft in the middle, so not overly cooked, just perfect. The 180g was plenty for me. The freshly cut fries are similar to those of Bram Ladage, which are my favourite fries. I'll definitely come here again if I'm around 🫶

Ordered a vegan burger. Got one with a huge cheese. I needed to have a discussion before they gave me a proper one. Later I found out that I paid for the first one, which was more. Give the people the food they want and not where you can make more money from!

I placed an order at Burger Bar Utrecht on Friday evening via Uber Eats, but accidentally entered the wrong address. I canceled it almost immediately (within 2 minutes) and tried calling the Utrecht location five times to arrange a new order, but unfortunately, no one answered – I assumed it would be resolved quickly, but it wasn't. I contacted them several times: I called a total of 12 times on Friday evening and Saturday, but no one answered. I also emailed, but so far no response. Now I'm €40 in debt without having seen a burger, even though I really want to remain a fan of your delicious burgers. I'm open to a fair solution like a credit or gift card; hopefully, you can consider this and make it right. The service usually deserves praise, but accessibility could be better. Burgerbar used to be my absolute number one spot in Utrecht for a burger, I always recommended it to friends. Sadly this restaurant apparently has a new owner that caters halal food. This means they only serve 'beef bacon' instead of pork bacon. I am sorry to say the flavour of beef bacon comes nowhere near to the real deal. It was limp, tasteless and didn't have that nice salty, fatty mouthfeel and crunch I love as a burger topping. I asked for a fried egg sunny side up and got a fried egg with a broken yolk and partly raw eggwhite. Came to this place for years and serving me raw onion instead of the grilled options was never a problem. The English speaking waiter had a hard time understanding what I wanted and in the end I just got served some raw onion on the salad, which is their normal topping on salad. I wanted my burger a point (between rare and medium). The waiter didn't know that expression. Ok, medium-rare. "We usually don't serve it that way, but I will do my best.", he said. Which in my opinion is really a strange thing to say in a burger bar working with expensive beef. The burger was rare. I appreciate the waiter came once I was eating and checked if the burger was to my liking. I said yes not to cause him any more grief (the whole ordering process had been exhausting enough due to the dialect barrier). Anyway. Sadly this is the last time I have been in there.

Ordered the Angus Delux, which was their premium burger at 22 euros. Very surprised that the burger came under seasoned, well done, and ultimately quite bland and not very juicy. Might have been fine with the smash burger, but a criminal act for a thicker cut with Angus beef. Seeing salt and pepper on tables should have been a clear warning sign. Very good location and friendly staff. Disappointed with the meal overall, especially given high cost. Would not go back or recommend to others.

Yesteray I've had dinner for the first time at the Burgerbar in Utrecht. I was a bit skeptical about this place originally but I have to admit that the experience definitely exceeded my expectations. I chose the Blue Irish and it was absolutely amazing, it was really juicy, full of cheese, the bread was very soft. All the sandwiches are served with crunchy fries. The service was also super fast (probably also because it was not too crowded), I waited only a few minutes before getting my sandwich. The only downside is maybe the place itself, a bit too small and the benches/tables looked greasy and dirty. If you are in Utrecht, you need to grab a burger here!

On a serious note, the best burgers in Utrecht, the bun is warm and crispy, the beef is delicious and rich. I've been a long time customer until now. Placed an order at 22:00, supposed to be 20-25 minute delivery time. Eventually at 23:05 they cancel the order and now I have no dinner 👍🏻 If you can't fulfill the order, don't accept it.

DELIVERY LACKS ANY QUALITY CONTROL. Ordered through uber eats. The advertised ‘180g burger patty’ was 150g including all toppings. It was overcooked and downright so disgusting I was not even able to eat it. They also forgot the drink. It’s not the first time this happens. They used to have very good and consistent food. Now they’re clearly going for quantity over quality and it shows. Very disappointed. I will never get food from this place again and I recommend you don’t either unless you get it at their location where you can return it and get a full refund so they’re less likely to mistreat you as a customer.

Had dinner with 2 children in the afternoon. 3 burgers was good in terms of quantity with 2 adults 2 children cost 70 euros with drinks and fries. the real bite gets an 8.5 the classic 9 chicken deluxe 9.5 Very nice service and very good burgers!
