I ate here tonight. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. To be fair, the burger was good. I thought the price was too high, and the soft drink had absolutely no flavor. My colleagues ordered fries, but they forgot. They got a drink as compensation, but the soft drinks didn't taste good either... I won't be going back here anytime soon.

They often say they're open when they're actually closed. They don't adhere to the hours on the front.

Travelled 1 hour to eat, online says that the owner verified they were open 4 weeks ago. Restaurant looks like it’s open employees are there and entering the store. A line outside waiting for them to open, 30 minutes after they are supposed to be open a customer waves down an employee entering the store and asks when they are going to be open. Just to be informed they will not be opening today. No signs outside saying they are closed for the day. Employee happily let customers stand outside in the rain without informing them they were closed. While I understand things happen it should be common sense to inform your customers that you are not opening.

Staff who have never heard of customer service, a filthy mess inside, and they charge top prices for their citizens.

Unfortunately, the first time at Five Guys couldn't make much of it. The tables and floor were all dirty, and the day had just begun. The price was expensive, although the hamburger was excellent, but the drinks were unbearable due to the very poor ratio of water to cola syrup (the same for Fanta and Sprit). Furthermore, there were no restrooms in the restaurant.

The food here is truly amazing! The soft drinks are also fantastic in all their flavors. The staff speaks English, so if you only speak Dutch, it's nice that they have an ordering station so you can choose what you want at your leisure. You do pay more here, but all the ingredients are fresh, and the food is fantastic. Unfortunately, I live too far away to visit often.

The Burger was good although quite to big to fit into the mouth without cutting or squeezing, cajun fries are not recommended far to much seasoning to enjoy. Overall overpriced, taste of the burger was good, fries were horrible.

It's a nice concept that you can choose your toppings and sauce at no extra cost. However, they'd put the lettuce leaf on top, so by the time I got home, the grease from the burger soaked into the bun and became a bit soggy. It's also a shame they don't toast the bun; it feels a bit like putting unbaked bread in your mouth. The fries are otherwise tasty, but the peanut flavor is very strong (they're fried in peanut oil). The price on the sign didn't match the price on the takeaway counter (perhaps a very high packaging surcharge?). Otherwise, it was ready quickly, and I was very hungry, so it's a good/okay burger and three stars.

First of all, the staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered a cheese burger, fries, and a milkshake. The flavor isn't worth the money. You can get the same flavor at other burger chains for half the price. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment.

Overpriced 22 Euro for a simple hamburger with small fries and some soda. Combined with terminals that do not work also the number machine (when it's your turn) didn't work. Staff mostly do not speak Dutch. Very very salty fries. Better restaurants in the near area.

I don't understand how Mac and Burger are still popular. This was a real burger. The quality of the food is much better. You get burgers like that if you go to a place for lunch that charges €20 for a burger and fewer fries. So highly recommended!

Burger it self was poor. Did not have a bad taste personally i find that it was missing some seasoning to the bureger meat itself. And i dont know what it is about five guys. Went in for a burger and fries. The fries were really salty. The burger wasn't what I expected. (Although I understand people find it really delicious.) We also ate in, but everything was packaged as if it was to-go. What a waste of packaging.

Super tasty and made with peanut oil. Burgers that taste better than anywhere else. Crispy fries with delicious Cajun spices are an option. Self-service fries and franks are also great for ketchup and mayo. Make your own ingredients. I ordered: double burger, BBQ sauce and mayo with tomato, lettuce relish, pickle, and jalapeno peppers. We went to Utrecht to get school supplies for the kids.

The food is delicious and well-prepared. You also get a huge amount of fries. Even a small portion is filling. I'm also happy with the endless drink refills and the wide selection. It's also great to have a free restroom in Utrecht. I'll definitely choose Five Guys again the next time I'm in Utrecht!

Anyone who goes there has only themselves to blame! Whether the lousy food at this outrageous price is typical of "five guys" or not, I can't say, as this was my first and definitely my last visit to "five guys." The atmosphere certainly doesn't invite you to a leisurely meal and linger. Quite the opposite; it's best to eat quickly and get out again. The aluminum foil packaging, especially when eating inside, is definitely out of date!

I wanted to try a hamburger chain that offers you hazelnuts while you wait. It met my expectations, but I can't say it's great.

The burgers here are usually really delicious, and it's great that you can choose your own toppings at no extra charge... but the speed at which everything is prepared would make a melting ice floe jealous. Clearly unmotivated staff. Also, nibbling on fries in plain sight doesn't seem very smart when you're working. I understand the urge, but do it secretly in a corner or something.

The milkshake is horribly disappointing compared to other locations. Avoid completely if you want a US style milkshake. I understand the milkshakes in NL tend to be on the watery side but this was really bad. I drank it while I waited for my burger so it's not as if it melted while I walked. The burger was good, but not warm enough to melt the cheese. It was a bit busy when I visited and the wait was about 15 minutes for the burger and 5 minutes for the milkshake. The burger is comparable in size and taste to other NL locations and US locations if anyone is wondering.

We ate here together for the first time. We ordered two bags of fries and two milkshakes. The first bags of fries weren't crispy at all. My boyfriend then asked for two more bags, which he received... But those weren't crispy at all either. The milkshake still had bits of banana in it, so it wasn't mixed properly. The men's room was also filthy; the floor was soaking wet. And the price was very high, paying over 26 euros for this order. No, it was the first and last time we've been here.

You'd think: a simple menu, fast service, and no mistakes with the toppings. Unfortunately, they threw in an extra burger and pickles that I hadn't ordered. I waited 15 minutes for this. That's slow for fast food. Then I had to go back to the counter to clarify that I'd ordered a milkshake, and the service was simply soulless. Not a smile. You pay for quality, because this isn't McDonald's. But I got anything but, and I won't even mention the fries, which were oversalted and just dumped in a bag. Or the burger bun that disintegrated as soon as you touched it. Too bad! I expected more, especially for the price.

I ate at Five Guys in Utrecht for the first time. It's a somewhat uninspired space with two ordering kiosks. You order each item individually, and everything is quite expensive. A hamburger starts at €12. Fries are almost €5, and a drink starts at €4, but a shake is also around €8. It's great that you can customize your hamburger to make it your own creation. Unfortunately, the hamburgers were tasteless. No salt or pepper. The bun was also soggy. Not a success. The fries, on the other hand, were excellent. Quite salty, but tasty. You can add your own mayonnaise or ketchup. And there were extra fries in the bag. A nice gesture. I didn't order the milkshake, as I was already spending around €18 for just a burger and fries. It would have been €26, including the shake. You can also eat better and more luxuriously for that price.

Bad bun for the burger, way too salty fries and not as ordered. Why 2 stars? The meat and topping were reasonable, and the base of the fries was clearly good, only ruined by the salt.

The regular cheeseburger already contains 2 patties, so be careful of adding more. The regular (Cajun) fries were plenty though really salty, too much salt for anybodies opinion, I'm sure of it.

The lady that is leading the kitchen is very professional and helpful if something went wrong in the order, she made the correct order and asked us to keep the wrong one for free as apology. Good price / quality and fast service.

Best FF burger in The Netherlands!

It’s important to me that their place is genuinely clean everywhere, which is rare for eateries in the Netherlands. They constantly wipe down all surfaces and clean up any trash on the floor. Being inside is a pleasant experience.

My very first Five Guys experience was in Canada. My first experience in Five Guys Netherlands is exactly the same experience as Canada. Burger and fries taste exactly the same! Interior is (almost) identical. Service also how I experienced it in Canada. Price of the burgers I find on the high side.. 12 to 14 euros (hence 4 stars) but are really delicious! Lower the price a bit please and it is a 5/5, for sure.

The hamburger was less tasty than the previous time. The fries were delicious. Unfortunately it didn't go down well and I had stomach problems for the rest of the day.

Food is very disappointing compared to what you have to pay for it. If you eat here you don't even get it on a tray. Everyone is working as if their soul has been sucked out, especially with such an open kitchen you expect a smile from your staff. Instead of being looked at dead. For me it doesn't need it anymore.

Very tasty food, much better than for example a Mc Donald's. Choice is still quite limited tho and you pay for it. You can choose which flavors/pieces you want in your milkshake. Unlimited sauce you can get yourself from a vending machine for the fries.

Was at five guys for the first time but also the last time. The fries are tasty but the hamburger is tasteless and hey bun soggy. Luckily I still had bbq sauce that gave a little taste to the burger but even the fried onions tasted like nothing. I don't understand that it is so busy for that price/taste.

I visited the restaurant around 9:20 PM together with my girlfriend. We ordered two burgers and fries. I asked for a pair of gloves for hygienic reasons, but immediately received an unfriendly and sarcastic response from the cashier. She refused to give me gloves, as if she would personally bear the costs. An unnecessary and unprofessional attitude. The bacon on my burger was so burnt it was almost black. And yes — a small piece also ended up on the floor. The floor was also given a taste just before closing time. To top it off, the same rude employee started filming me leaving the restaurant, without permission and for no reason. That is not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful and transgressive. The staff makes or breaks the experience. And with this kind of behavior it is really a waste of your money and your evening. Shame.

- Screen menu is very unclear. I tried to select a lighter 1 patty burger among 6 similar looking options and failed to do it correctly - No chicken burger option that is lighter and more sustainable - Burger was packed into foil making it soggy despite me selecting a “dine in” option when ordering - I was given an enormous portion of fries despite ordering the smallest size, resulting in >50% of it becoming food waste - In the end I felt very wizzy in my stomach after the meal, not happy and satisfied

Food is crazy expensive for the quality!! Limp fries that are easily thrown into the bag and not separately, dry small burger and watery drink. Staff is also very unfriendly and you cannot communicate with them because they cannot speak English or Dutch. Preparing the order also took more than 40 minutes. Don't make the same mistake and don't go here!

Five Guys Utrecht, zeer teleurstellend In Five Guys Utrecht gegeten. Eerst meer dan 45 minuten gewacht op de bestelling, aantal keren gevraagd maar het kwam goed. Uiteindelijk bleek onze bestelling al een hele tijd klaar te staan, maar door vette vingers was nummer niet goed leesbaar meer en werd het verkeerde nummer omgeroepen. Het eten was ondertussen behoorlijk afgekoeld, de hamburger was er flauw en smaakloos en broodje helemaal zacht en zompig. Als je bedenkt dat je daarvoor met drinken en patat erbij meer dan 20 euro betaald is het eigenlijk een hele grote teleurstelling en geld absoluut niet waard. Is er dan geen positief punt, jawel, de friet is echt goed en smaakvol.

First time you Give Guys. Bad experience. The milkshake from 6.50! was ready within a few minutes. But I had to throw them away because pieces of chocolate and cookie didn't come through the straw. After hearing only good things about Five Guys, İ went and tried a hamburger with Cajun Fries. İ have to say İ am a burger snob, as İ love making my own, which is why İ hardly ever go and have them out, but this was such a disappointment. Bread was good, toppings likewise although İ had chosen Jalapenos and there were only 3 slices...meat was dry and lacked taste. But worst of all were the fries, soggy and droopy, not at all good. Also the overload of salt in the Cajun seasoning instantly ruïnes the balance you probably need to taste the burger..would not recommend or try again. 40 euros for 2 burgers, 1 large fries....ps: my partner loved the banana milkshake after

Amazing expierence! Friendly employees, great food and a surprisingly good atmosphere. Best fast-food restaurant in the Netherlands. Highly recommend.

The best burgers in town, folks!!

Five Guys really is the place for a good, juicy burger. Everything is freshly made and you can customize your burger exactly how you want it. The fries come in generous portions, so you certainly won't leave here hungry! The milkshakes are also highly recommended. My favorite is without a doubt the Oreo milkshake – super creamy and just the right balance between sweet and light. If you're looking for a tasty burger with an overload of fries and a good milkshake, this is the place to go!

They forgot my mayo, the fries have no seasoning people just go here because the name at least in the states the food is seasoned this is straight bland.

Positive: really feels like an American five guys. However, location is overexposed. Fries are very tasty. Negative: you have to put the burger together yourself, but the proportions are not right in the burger. The result is an overly dry, somewhat tasteless burger. It is not clear to me whether this is because I did not make the right choices or because they did not use the right amounts.

Dropped in on my travels through Utrecht for a taste of us. Service was prompt, friendly and quick. Burger was well assembled and cooked with the exception of overly crunchy/dried out bacon. Could have just been due to the time of day. Prices are high similar to five guys in the states but authentic flavor delivered
