Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated rapidly. This coincided with the new "look" introduced a while ago. The last few times I ordered a burger here, the results were subpar. One time, the brioche bun was completely flattened, which didn't stop them from making a burger with it. Another time, I got the rather expensive Smashy Saar (a double smash burger), which had almost no sauce or flavor. It was practically just meat with a lettuce leaf and a tomato. I won't be going back.

This place used to be great, sadly not anymore. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took 30 minutes for our two simple burgers (no fries or sides) to arrive. When they came, the buns were somehow toasted yet cold and soggy at the same time. The burgers and toppings were ok but nothing special. It’s a shame to see a local business become such a let-down, and I think I’d honestly rather go to McDonald’s or Five Guys, because at least you know what you’re going to get.

I ordered a smash burger but I don’t think they understand what a smash burger is, as it was not smashed at all, no flavour.

The burgers are okay, not amazing, but tasty. However, the atmosphere in the "restaurant" is worse than your average McDonald's at 2:00 AM. We also had to wait 45 minutes for our burgers even though the place wasn't even close to full.

I placed an order through Thuisbezorgd. We've been waiting for an hour and a half, and they're almost closing. I can't call because the phone number is unavailable. This is pathetic behavior. When can I expect my money back?

A burger with a very different flavor, very fresh and with many vegetables, the truth is that it surprised me quite a bit, I still think that the main problem in the city and I suppose in the rest of the country, is the treatment with meat, it is different and They lack flavor. Tasty burger, lots of choice, a bit too much sauce. I only missed the slice of cheddar cheese. You can tap your own mayo or ketchup 👍 Good atmosphere, but a bit noisy. Pick up yourself. And they have fisherman friend for afterwards 😁

If you want just a burger this isn’t the place for you. If you want an experience, Maneer Smakers will take you there. It was difficult to look past the prices, until I mounted my pearly whites on the beast of a burger that they cooked up fresh for me. The burger was reasonable price, the beer did catch me out though. Realestate was available on the street where I devoured this pre-concert meal as I watched biked wiz past. Everything about the burger was awesome, even the menu and it’s colourful presentation. When Maneer Smakers refines it’s space and atmosphere into something less generalised, it could be a 5/5 establishment. 4.4 /5

Although the food is good, the price of the drink seemed like an armed robbery to me, 7 euros for two 0.2 liter bottles of water. No wonder the place was empty.

Location Nobelstraat. Burgers are delicious, but it's a pity that the service here always seems to have a hangover and sits outside endlessly smoking with AirPods instead of helping guests...

Good burgers, about the best you can get in Utrecht, and reasonably priced.

Hygiene dramatically doesn't even deserve a star. No gloves, no hairnet. Most expensive burger, but unfortunately completely done... Not worth repeating...

The "smash" burger was a full size double patty that you can hardly put in your mouth. Also patties were dry as sand, definitely overcooked. The meat in the patty seems to have been blend with a food processor instead of a proper meat grinder giving it a distinct rubbery texture. Tomatoes were not salty, and fresh cucumber just has no place in a burger. "Loaded fries" are dropped with meat dry as sand. And fries themselves were heated and not fresh. Overall this was one of the saddest Burgers I have eaten recently. Very poor food quality

The hamburger was big and delicious. The order took around 15 mins, worth every second of the wait. Also I liked the sauce dispenser.

When ordering online for takeaway, we did not understand that there were different locations. Unfortunately, the locations do not have one way to contact each other and you cannot call the location yourself. Since we were walking, that food could have been thrown away and we would have lost unnecessary money.

Used to be amazing came here the first time they opened around 2013 on the nds. Amazed by the Quality of the producs they used and the tasted it had. Now after selling nothing remains apart from the name. Prices are higher products are cheaper and the taste is generic. The new owner killed smakers in the hope of making a quick buck.

Formerly a fan of Mister Smakers, not anymore. Quality has deteriorated, and every delivery is missing something. 3 out of 3 now. Yesterday half of the order was missing, and the phone stated on the receipt does not work. Turns out they don't have a phone at all. I paid for delivery, but ended up having to go out for 45 minutes to claim the other half of my order. Then not even a small compensation for the effort, just 'yes, sorry, was busy'.

Great burger, on the pricey side for the concept

Ordered via Uber Eats, really mediocre and lukewarm burgers. Chicken burger was soft and that cheap pressed meat, not real fried chicken. In addition, part of the order was missing. Cajun fries were okay but very salty. And that for almost 50 euros, not okay. I really don't recommend this.

The burgers were far off from expectations. The most basic condiments without any real taste to it. All in all, very bland. This used to be great. They had a fantastic range of veggie options, so basically every burger they had could be either veggie or meat. They were flavourful and good. We ordered here a couple of times a month. Then... they changed their menu completely to focus only on meat burgers with one poor quality and tasteless vegetarian option that was nothing like what they used to have. I am so disappointed.

You can eat the tastiest fries here. And so much that we share 1 portion between the two of us. You can get your own mayonnaise and ketchup. Nicely presented and cool paintings everywhere you look. The burgers are tasty too.

This WAS my favorite place in Utrecht. Everything used to be vegetarian by default, unless you specifically asked for meat. Fantastic! They also had super tasty gluten-free sandwiches. Perfect! Yesterday I was looking forward to visiting this Mr. Smakers again and guess what? Menu completely changed! Plenty of meat and no more gluten-free options. Only fries, but there were also a number of fries with Cajun spices that, according to their allergen page, contained gluten. Service was quite slow. I was especially disappointed that I could eat here safely "in the past" (June for the last time) and now I can't eat there at all. Very sorry...

Warning! Do not order food here. They are not able to deliver food within 3 whole hours. They aren't reachable in any way. I've suggested an edit to remove the delivery option, as this is not acceptable.

Very nice monthly november special where you only get served half of the ingredients. And when you confront them they will just say: "Oh sorry, Yes run out of ingredients..."

En una de las calles céntricas de Utrecht puedes disfrutar de buenas hamburguesas y perritos calientes. El local es pequeño, pero bien apañado y con ambiente joven. Existen combos que incluye hamburguesa/perrito, patatas y bebidas. El chef y camarero muy atento. Tienes varias cervezas a elegir de la zona. Nosotros para comer pedimos la hamburguesa trufada y un hot dog con patatas y bebidas. Las patatas de carne y provolone están espectaculares, la ración es muy generosa. Precio por persona, 20€

Ontzettend klantvriendelijk! Met mijn zwangerschapsbrein had ik per ongeluk afhaal besteld i.p.v. bezorgen, en omdat ik niet in staat was om af te halen kreeg ik mijn geld netjes terug. Overigens zijn de burgers en frieten hier altijd heerlijk.

Mein Freund liebt Burger und deshalb haben wir bereits viele gegessen und diese hier gehören zu den unseren persönlich Besten. Auch die loaded Pommes waren lecker, nur würden wir persönlich beim nächsten Mal die hausgemachte Sauce dazu wählen, die auf meinem Burger sehr lecker gewesen ist. Der Service war mit Rat und Tat (ich durfte sogar die hausgemachte Sauce probieren) absolut toll. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder 😊

The burgers and the ingredients used were really fresh and tasted amazing! I personally don’t like fatty burgers, so this place was perfect! The fries were also really fresh, crisp and flavoursome. Would totally recommend and will definitely come back!

Vreselijk slecht. Een keer eerder gehad en toen was het best oke, maar vandaag absoluut niet. Drie burgers besteld. Kregen twee burgers en 1 loaded fries met aziatische salade en sesamdressing (zus kim, terwijl we een zus fleur burger met als topping cheddar en nachos hadden besteld, hele gore combi…). Van de twee burgers was 1 vego ipv kip (oom Huib, terwijl die burger alleen in kip bestaat??!?!) en heel erg vies. Het smaakte of er zeepsop op de burger zat. De ander was wel rund zoals besteld (opa Bob) maar het vlees was zo ontzettend taai en de bacon kwam ik niet doorheen. Frietjes wel goed maar overal zonde van geld en de bedoeling om lekker eten af te halen…

Super lekkere en originele burgers! Heb wel het idee dat ze de laatste jaren door de stijgende populariteit minder 'authenthiek' zijn als eerst. Ik hoop dat dit niet al te veel veranderd want dat zou zonde zijn. Het concept is leuk en origineel en de prijzen zijn (nu nog) in verhouding met wat je krijgt.

Great spot to hangout with friends. Also kid friendly. The burgers are extremely delicious and their fries are one of the best in Utrecht along with a variety of sauces. Cosy interiors with warm lighting sets the mood for you to have a great conversation friendly burger time.

Längere Wartezeit, freundliches Personal. Gute Portionen. Für uns eigentlich eine 3,5! Ausgefallenes Bier. Für alle was dabei(Vegan, vegetarisch) ! Leider kein Dessert und zu wenig Käse auf den Burgern. Wir empfehlen es weiter!

Laat helaas te wensen over. Het interieur begint sleets te worden en coronamaatregelen zijn hier niet van kracht. QR-codes worden niet gescand. Voor het studentenpubliek wellicht geen probleem, maar voor de oudere jongere een minpunt.

Wie immer kann man hier gute Burger essen! Auch eine gute Auswahl an vegetarischen Varianten. Die Pommes sind ok, aber sind nicht ganz nach meinem Geschmack.

Frisse burgers die je niet snel ergens anders zou tegen komen! Aanraders: naar de tent zelf heen gaan en een dagdeal te nemen. Altijd bruin brood nemen voor de burgers, wit brood heeft geen smaak. Ook de loaded fries zijn een aanrader! Service in het restaurant zou eventueel wat aandachtiger mogen zijn, maar wij kwamen ook wel aan tijdens de piek.

Normaal halen we zelf af op de Twijnstraat, maar deze keer laten bezorgen. Alles leek flink geschud en de frites was zacht, vermoedelijk te lang in verpakking deze keer.
