STATED OPEN BUT ARE CLOSED! All dark and doors closed.

It's a bit of a shame there's no public toilet. But the food is fine.

Branch has been closed since end of December.

It is closed and on Google it says it is open until 10pm

Opening hours are wrong, they're already closed at 9 PM. December 5, 2023, Langeweest, at 7:58 PM. Also closed. I hope you go bankrupt. What a company this is.

Went to the location that was supposedly open online. I struggled to find a paid parking spot some distance away, only to find out upon arrival that the place was closed. Bad move, Burger King!

Staff is rude and unhelpful, the food is always something wrong, the restaurant is dirty and the opening hours are never correct, not online or as stated at the store. They are temporarily closed as of 26/11/23, but that is also nowhere to be found

They were closed even though it was supposed to be open according to the site. Very disappointing

Received the wrong burgers and my fries were already cold. Luckily we decided to eat there so back to the counter. Got the wrong burger again! Very long waiting time and no sense of urgency or interest from the staff. Oh yes, and we ran out of soft drinks?!? Don't go here again.

Small BK and therefore few staff. The result was that I had to wait a long time. Ordered 2 Whoppers, 1 of which was ready quickly and the other took a long time. That left my Whopper almost cold.

Walked here for nothing. The internet is open until 11pm. The door is open every day from 2pm to 10pm. But when I got there at 8pm it was already closed!

Always something there or they take way too long. Or they make the hamburger traffic instead of what you ask for. never again!

Great Whopper. I still had 20 minutes before my train and I had the burger in my hands within 5 minutes.

My favorite burgers, but unfortunately this time less than I am used to. We don't have a Burger King in Drachten, so I have to go to Groningen, but I had to be in Alkmaar so I immediately looked for the tastiest burgers. The Xtra long chili cheeseburger was not really very hot, so the flavor did not come through, and unfortunately the other double bacon king was not quite up to temperature either. We were in a hurry but didn't feel like making a fuss about it, partly because of the limited and expensive parking. A somewhat small, dark, dingy room where some attention could be paid to clearing and cleaning the tables, chairs and benches. The employee was also not very good at the Dutch language, but was also difficult to understand. Soon we will go back to Burger King in Groningen....

No toilet, no place to wash your hands ... ?

There was a couple in a wheelchair who wanted to eat in, but they were not even offered a tray to more easily transport their items, and when the cashier saw they were struggling he just watched. The area in the back was already closed so they also didn't have anywhere to sit and weren't offered a table until another patron tried to help them by opening up the area so they could sit at the table. Then the cashier suddenly jumped in and grabbed a small table from the back. Couldn't he have done that to begin with??

Very bad food comparing to other Burger Kings.

Several more orders are being taken even though my food has been ready for a while. I would expect them to handle the customer they are dealing with and then immediately issue the order(s) that are ready.

Staff are very busy with each other, look around and just leave you standing. I just ran away and got food somewhere else

I ordered a cheese burger, but had to wait a long time, I thought it was very sour, they put too much mustard. That was quite disappointing

First time i had burger king! Must say, it is pricey, but the food you pay for is definitely really good. I think the food quality is a million times better than that of mcdonalds, which looks and tastes way cheaper. So yes, it is definitely worth the price.

Slowest Burger King in the Netherlands, slow customer handling

Pity. Just the moment the counter employee started preparing orders. Had been waiting for a while so not happy. It was also still very warm inside.

The first thing I'm told is that it will take 10 minutes. Well, fine, I have to catch the train in 20 minutes, should be possible. I don't get a receipt with a number, no, that's quickly said under my breath. Then I wait 23 minutes, miss my train and also get the wrong order pushed to me. When I come back I am accused of having taken the wrong order... Lousy Service and way too slow.

This burger king it's fine but it doesn't have toilets. If a restaurant is equipped with tables for eating inside, it should also be equipped with toilets for the customers

It's a Burger King. So anyone who knows it knows what it is 😁 The Wopper is tasty. Fast food. This Burger King is at the station and you can sit there, but you prefer to do that quickly and briefly. If you're in the mood for fast food, it's fine, but pricey.

Staff works very slowly, had to leave the order I paid for to catch my train

Very confusing order system where you have to remember some number. Would be great if they gave you some sort of receipt. Or one of those order poles

They forgot something with my order, but when I walked back they took action right away. Didn't have to make it difficult, got what I was missing right away. Customer service was great!

Good and friendly service, they speak English though the area is small.

They give you all incomplete orders! I ordered 2 double whoopers and they gave me singles, and they overcharged me. I'm never going back there again!

Because I had to wait a while, I wanted to order a menu at Burger King. The sign said: 'Medium Nuggets menu 9 pcs for €8.95' with 'also veggie' underneath. I therefore ordered a veggie nuggets menu. The lady behind the counter keyed this in and when paying I would have to pay almost €12 for a menu. When I indicated to the lady behind the counter that this was not correct and referred to the sign behind her, she indicated that they do not do vegetarian menus. So if you choose the sustainable option, you can pay the full price without this being stated anywhere. To me this felt like a scam. Indicated that I did not want the menu and only wanted the nuggets. The employee reluctantly canceled the transaction and I ended up getting only my nuggets. The nuggets tasted okay, but I think that's the minimum you can expect for these prices. You can also raise the lamps a bit near the bench, so that you don't hit your head on them if you are taller than 1 meter 60.

Waited half an hour with no one in front of me. Then I come home and everything is wrong with the order. So many that I won't mention the details here. And then there were also items that I had not ordered! When I called I was told to come back, which was not an option because the children had to sleep. Ultimately it was said that I could get 1 menu next time (ahem) and that had to happen within a week. What a service. Don't go here!

I ordered here twice, the first time I had to wait 25 minutes for my order and the second time my Wopper was ready for 20 minutes, but the staff was talking to each other so I still waited more than 30 minutes for my food. I ended up going there myself while the staff was doing nothing to ask for my burger. Only then did I get my burger. Not recommended!

Great place, next to the train station. However, Burger King needs to seriously consider putting more staff; the place was with only one cashier and one person in the kitchen. That caused a long-ish line of people waiting to order. Kudos to the staff who work tirelessly, and serve all customers

The chicken was raw and my girlfriend's burger was not good either, we both got food poisoning from your food yesterday, we really need to pay attention.

Always good experiences with this Burger King branch.

Unfortunately I had both good and bad experiences here. The ladies who work here are always very friendly and help you well. Unfortunately, I was also helped here twice by 2 different men and they could not have been more antisocial than they already were... very unfortunate. In general, it's easy to do, but when it's busy, the work is sloppy.

They do not do everyday value that are in the app, you cannot save points in the app at this branch :(

Its not restaurant but fast food

Burger King really is the king when it comes to burgers and other food they offer, but this facility just isn't it. It's all worn out,l and has so little seats and tables. Definetely requires renovation.

You want to order something You ask twice, can I have a hamburger from you, they just don't look at you and continue talking in foreign languages, so you leave without eating Burger King Alkmaar

Service is really ridiculously bad, cashier spoke to us very disinterestedly after ignoring the line for at least 10 minutes, eventually also gave the wrong items with the order, normal fries while we paid for twister fries

Just a burger king, no more, no less. Delicious for a quick bite

Quality is increasingly deteriorating. Fries so dry that you have to use sauce to remove them. Leftover fries are fried several times. The burgers are just lukewarm even though we eat them right there! Completely done, yuck!

It's open too late again, I am helped here by someone who barely speaks & understands Dutch, Bread & burgers dry & the cheese not even melted, where the cheese went with the "cheesy" fries is a mystery to me, It's a shame it would have been better to go to Mac for that money

Terrible! Is working hours and the guys refused to serve because they were “too busy”, not even provided a waiting time, they just said they were not taking orders anymore… very disappointing

What happened here??? It was our favorite Burger King. Went today and just like our 2 visits in 6 months before cold burger cheese wasn't even melted. Almost no sauce, Kids left most of it behind. Thoroughly dry the bun, the meat has become considerably thinner between the burger. Floor and tables very dirty and staff walking around without really knowing what to do. You would say 3x is a charm. Unfortunately we won't be back. What a decline from citizen King Alkmaar.

Customer is not king I couldn't order a shake from a menu

Very bad Burger King business. Received the wrong order three times in a row (too little). Staff very unhelpful and more interested in each other than in the customer. Even the free whopper that is promised after completing the online survey is not given. I wasn't much of a BK fan before, but I certainly won't be going there anymore.

The cheeseburger was 10 times nothing. Too much sauce compared to the rest of the sandwich... also the staff was not that friendly

Normally we really like Burger King. Terrible now! The young lady who took our order was anything but friendly, she was really looking forward to it (read: dripping with sarcasm) The fries were not fully cooked yet. The burgers were cold. Coke had ice in it instead of none that was requested. The seats were dirty and even filthy outside. I will definitely never go here again. It is that it is not possible otherwise they would get no or fewer stars.

Very bad service. Doesn't even work with the Burger King app. Didn't even know what that app was. Food was also very bad and sitting outside was just nasty. Really highly recommended

I can’t enter the sitting area because there is a barrier of dustbins in front of it, employees are shouting at each other, and the place seems to be very dirty indeed. And you go through all that for a soggy burger. (I was on google to actually see if Burger King was bankrupt (no joke).

There are already beautifully spelled messages at the cash registers; "LONG WAITING TIMES DUE TO STAFF SHORTAGE". Fine, we understand that, but it is not the case that the employees make any effort to help you. Everything goes smoothly. We waited 20 minutes, but even a "we'll be right with you" is too much to ask here. Hamburgers are ready for at least 10-15 minutes before they disappear into a bag. Not very tasty, I think. As a "competitor" I can understand that it can be very busy and hectic with 5 people on the floor, but even I always make sure that there is at least some speed. In addition, you are given dirty looks, the vocabulary when ordering is no greater than "what?, more? And pin" and Home Delivery orders are clearly ignored. The latter is understandable, but I would choose to disable online orders. This is possible, and would focus the service on the guests in the restaurant itself. This was the last time for us and we left without being helped, since at this speed you can go to Amsterdam to have something to eat. You will probably be helped even faster.

Completely worthless. There are A4 sheets at the cash registers and on the windows with the text that there are longer waiting times due to staff shortages. Well, fine, that makes sense. Missed the train because picking up a simple Whopper menu apparently takes half an hour here. Staff works extremely slowly and orders go wrong.

Finally took the step to Burger King here in Alkmaar again. After I ignored this branch for some time due to several complaints. Anyway.....I'm definitely going there for my Euro cheeseburgers......it turns out they don't sell them anymore. The lady pointed out to me a sticker that said I could only pay with vouchers, but there was no cheeseburger on it. It's always something.......but for the last time for now. Maybe I'll try again in six months.....it's really tough with them.

What a drama here. Takes forever to help you and they are really juggling the orders, have no idea what they are doing and food is cold when you get it. The manager himself doesn't understand it all. Never again!!!

Very quiet inside. No effort is made at all, a monotonous rehearsed hello, what can I do for you, just got away. I had to wait a long time for my order (cold fries, cold burger with brown expired lettuce). QR was not scanned when sitting.. dirty and never again...

Takes a long time before you are helped. If you want to hand in a coupon, they must first call the manager. When the order has finally been taken after a long wait, the preparation takes a very long time. Then it turns out that they forgot to fry the fries, so they quietly leave your entire order, so it gets cold and your drink is lukewarm. In short, a long wait for only hot fries because the rest was cold instead of warm, except for the soft drink that had become warm. Maybe better selection of staff and/or better training???

Last time they forgot something about the order. I think it could happen. Then you call and you are promised to add it to your next order. A note would be made and we only had to report this with our name and they would still comply. Now we place another order at Burger King with the message that we still have some money left. Of course it wasn't included and my food was cold. What a bad tent this is. Incompetent delivery staff was nice, but that's not what I come for

I order a Big King and there is no cheese on it and I get a fanta instead of a coke and the food is cold

I personally think that Burger King has better burgers than McDonalds. However, the service at this Burger King is not really great, dirty tables, full trash bins and you have to get your food yourself, while at McDonalds the food is delivered. But probably the bad service is because it is a station location and is mainly intended for takeaway, and not so much for eating at a table.

Not many things wrong with order

The food here is pretty good, and the service is alright, but I generally avoid eating here because of the drinks. Instead of the usual soda cups that deliver on that true fast food experience you get disappointing PET bottles which really ruin the meals for me and pushes me to competitors. I already avoided ordering online because of the bottles and went to the location in person just to get the actual bang for my buck. But now that they also serve PET bottles at when you order at the restaurant itself I will probabbly try to avoid eating here if I can. Hopefully they will change their mind on this decision or another franchise opens nearby because like I said the food is great but I dont feel like I get what I pay for compared to the competition.

The burgers at this BK taste as you would expect from a Burger King, and I come here every now and then when I feel like having a Long Chicken or Whopper, for example. Outside normal peak hours, your order will be ready within 5 minutes. On my last visit it took a little longer, possibly due to new staff in training and/or the reasonable crowds.

Half an hour, waiting for 45 minutes.. finally arrived home, fries cold & still missing a hamburger.. worst burger king ever!

Door closed a quarter before 7:45 PM. It's a bit scandalous when the internet says closing time is 8:00 PM.
