Exceptional experience, staff very friendly to kids.

The food is really bad, the people here don't even say hello, and the McFlurry has become half the size.

Quite doable. And if you hurry, your fries are still warm and your bun isn't soggy... but sometimes, just sometimes, it's quite doable.

Often very busy, the food is what you expect at a McDonald's. It is getting more and more expensive.

Everything was as good as usual, but one star less because the toilet cleanliness wasn't so great, unfortunately.

The food is tasty, the service isn't great, but unfortunately there aren't enough seats during busy periods. However, it is in a nice central location and easy to reach.

Everything was as expected from McDonald's 👍👍 However, I'll say this upfront: the staff can't be blamed for the fact that the restrooms weren't exactly clean. We've seen that in other public restrooms too. 🤷 Some people just have no manners. I wonder what their homes are like 🫣

The food is what you can expect from MC, just fine. The service from the counter staff was excellent. The atmosphere was extremely bad; the floor was very dirty and young people were sitting on the benches with their dirty shoes. The tables were not cleaned. I wanted to get something to eat here but was able to change my mind thanks to the employee.

Awfully expensive, I'm never doing that again. 27 euros for 2 fries, 2 chicken, 2 shakes. Lovely people serving.

Just a quick note: if you order ice cream, serve it as soon as possible! Now it was sitting next to other people's orders waiting, and that causes the ice cream to melt... Also, a few times in quick succession, a guy started sweeping extensively at the table, even though he had already done that 5 minutes earlier and there was nothing to sweep! Do that when there are no people sitting at the table; after all, you aren't in some canteen..

Using the toilet costs money, even for customers.

Really disappointing, you shouldn't go to this place. If something is missing from your order and you only realize it when you get home, they won't bring it to your home, and when you pick it up, they say you won't get anything back for it and they lie right in your face for finding out later.

Ordered a massive, fat, inadequate pounter of junk. The burger was undercooked and tasted disgusting. Went back and asked the manager if they could serve a new burger. The sauce had almost no taste; not at any McDonald's in the years I've been eating there. They made things difficult. Instead of making a new burger, the manager said they don't do that. I refused. I asked if I could order a different burger, but that wasn't possible. I demanded my money back for the burger. Very rude and unfriendly. Hitting the cash register and my money back. Rightfully so, I will never, ever order here again. Scandalous from such a reliable chain.

Small branch in the city center. Because of this, it can sometimes feel very busy. The food, like at most McDonald's, is standard, which is generally what you can expect from an American fast-food caterer. You can place your order yourself via large displays and pick up a table number. The food is then brought to your seat. The employee was generally friendly, with a greeting, and the food was tasty. The order matched what I had ordered. Giving 3 stars for the food is personal because I don't really like fast food, so I chose a neutral middle ground.

I thought this was very poorly organized! We ordered things and received them separately 10 minutes later (with self-pickup). Additionally, the milkshake absolutely did not taste like the flavor I ordered. It also arrived melted. Very disappointing. :(

McDonald’s branch in the middle of the city. The branch is very small. The location is good, though. The interior has been recently modernized but is not striking. You can use the restroom for a fee. This McDonald’s branch can be very busy at times. The food is as always.

Unedible, of course; why do I go here twice a year anyway.... Three-quarters thrown in the bin, nasty burger, cold fries, yuck. Oh, and fast food....had to wait fifteen minutes for it. Filthy mess.

You simply have to pay to use the toilet here! I understand they want to deter tourists, but it should just be free when you order. Moreover, cash only! No card reader or barcode reader. An employee blithely tells me he can't do anything about it. Not even report the complaint to his supervisor? Is there no supervisor, or is this burying your head in the sand, then I don't see anything?

What great service. The young man was very friendly and cheerful. There was only one other couple inside. It was quiet and orderly. The cheeseburger was delicious. My favorite. He also wished us a nice day when we left.

We had to end up here one day. We were looking for something to eat, and McDonald's seemed like a good option. The food. I decided to order two double cheeseburgers, large fries, a latte, chicken nuggets (regular), and two sweet and sour sauces. I should start with the downsides, because there are more than enough of them. * The first downside is that there's no menu; you have to buy the burger, fries, and drink separately, which means spending more money. * The second downside is that when you order sauce, it's clearly stated that you're supposed to get it in plastic packaging, but in reality, they bring you liquid in who knows what. I've seen astronauts eat from similar packages. * The third downside is the way the order is presented. When they brought my burger, the cheese wasn't even melted, and the whole burger felt like it was microwaved instead of heated on the stove. * The fourth negative. The latte. They brought me a latte that tasted like crap, literally, it was so awful that I'll hardly order anything from this Mac next time. On the plus side, well, I guess the fries and nuggets were okay.

Went here for a drink and to use the toilet. You can only use the toilet if you have cash, and it took 20 minutes to get the drinks.

I had a cup of coffee. A cookie and a side of fries. It tasted good, and the service was warm and professional. As a customer, I felt seen and heard, which is what it's all about. I'm very satisfied!

Very poor service, ordered yesterday and received nothing, called several times and could not receive a solution

I wanted to order food at the cash register and had to wait five minutes, and still no one came. I asked the manager, "Can you take my order?" He replied arrogantly, "I'm coming." I replied, "Can you be quick?" He said, "Can you please?" It's not a preschool. "Can you please please?" It's just a diner. I give you money, you give me food. It's that simple. I don't need a life lesson, thanks.

It's a McDonald's. The food was just what you get at McDonald's, so it was fine. It just took a bit too long to get to the table, and the interior had clearly seen better days, with benches that looked anything but inviting.

We only ordered small items and had them delivered to our table. Customers who arrived after us received their food before us. When we thought we'd finally gotten our order, we quickly realized the order number was incorrect. We went back, got a new tray (ours this time), had cooled down, and instead of a cookie, we got a chocolate ball. So we went back again. Then we received the cookie we ordered, but it was very cold. 🙄

It's just an mcs... what can sometimes happen is that the order is simply skipped and then you don't get your food

Dirty surroundings, very slow 🐌 staff. Food wasnt event good. I waited for mcflurry for 10 minutes maybe more and it was like half of the portion I normally get in Germany or Czechia.

The fries were okay, but very expensive. Large and medium fries cost about €10. Probably tourist prices. But I've never seen such disgusting restrooms (man) in a McDonald's. Urine everywhere. The toilet paper dispenser was broken, and there was no toilet paper.

For a quick bite and a nice time with my grandson it is a great location.

We ordered at 9:15 PM, it's now 10:33 PM, and they didn't answer the phone, even though Thuisbezorgd had approved the order. As long as you can forget about delivery after 9:00 PM, they won't deliver.

I placed my order for delivery today. It took an hour and a half to arrive! And the order I received was OLD & COLD! Great service, McDonald's Alkmaar, this is the last time! 😡😡😡 What a terrible place!

The cleanliness of the place definitely needs improvement. Every table is dirty, and the seats are covered in crumbs. The flooring under the tables also leaves much to be desired.

Not to be rude lot of people hanging around or in the restaurant. And not the brightest ones. Seems like some kind of hanging spot for teenagers.

Came here at around 11 o'clock, very quiet McDonald's, especially after visiting the cheese auction market😄. McDonald's burgers in Europe are very beautiful. Like something straight out of an advertisement👍✨✨✨

Where do I start? I was there a couple times, the wait time even for the basic order is around 10 minutes, food coming cold, the drinks are flat. And the attitude of the personal.....

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Almost half the food was sold out, and the quarter pounders I ordered were dry and not very tasty. Plus, waiting 20 minutes for two burgers is unacceptable. On top of that, the entire place is very dirty and uncomfortable. Never again.

This store has one main issue, which I already reported several times through the feedback form. They are very slow on the onsite orders.Quite often I have to wait more than 8-10 minutes, which is not a standard in a "fast-food" restaurant like McD. They are clearly overloaded since they started with the home-delivery-service. Also they need to improve the cleaning service. The return-trays are constantly full. Another thing that the management needs to take better care is the training of the younger people. I totally appreciate youth programs like the one runs by McD but they need to be trained how to deal with customers in the HoReCa. Smile, be kind ,be polite. Especially in the table-bring-service.

Always great at McDonald's Alkmaar! The service is super friendly and fast, and the employees really make the difference. The lobby is clean and tidy, nice to sit quietly for a while. Everything was nice and warm and freshly prepared. Would love to come back here! 🍟🍔👏

It was a very bad experience. 2 of us went and we both ordered the Big Max, we both wanted a coke and chips and neither of us could get enough of both menus, it was the first time I saw such a small Big Max menu. The hamburgers we ate also tasted very bad. I regret to say that I have eaten many in other places and countries. But this was the first time I saw and ate something like this. I gave two stars for the drinks and potato chips. Shame on you, we did not get what we paid for, I will never go again, I do not recommend anyone to go either.

The food was pretty good, the service was pretty good, they bring the food to your table, I tried the big mac there for the first time, which was really good, but I'm giving it three stars mainly because of the toilets, they were dirty, untidy and smelled, and not that they smelled of customers, it was disgusting, the smell that McDonald's put there, if you go to buy food with you, then fine, but if you want to eat inside, not so much

For a fast food restaurant it's okay, the price is good, the taste is what you can expect for the price. Service was very good, the food you ordered was brought to your table. Unfortunately, the cleanliness is not that good, the tables, chairs and benches are very dirty, so the staff could clean them up every now and then. Using the toilet for 50 cents even though you are a guest there and eat something is very outrageous!

Never again this McDonald's, we ordered eat in and got everything packed in a bag. Fries, of course, cold, burger as if someone had chewed it before. The tables were messed up, no one was cleaning it. When we spoke, the staff acted like we were bothering them. A real disaster for the money. No one will get us here.

It couldn't be any more messy. Tables dirty, no one cares, the main thing is money in the till. Unfortunately, too many people still go there, including us just to have children. A few fries and we were off again.

Very dirty mac, they don't seem to clean it

Mostly 5 stars because of the fact that this is the friendlies McDonald's with the best cervice you will find. The food is of course not the best, but come on it's McDonald's no McDonald's tastes good.

Forgotten products in orders. Chicken nuggets are soft and soggy. Took over half an hour to collect.

Sweet and super young staff. They hardly spoke Dutch. But as I said, very sweet and helpful. Fries were cold.

When the order came to the table, the curly fries were already cold. Received new ones but these were also lukewarm. I had a chicken wrap for 7 euros and it contained two small pieces of chicken tenders, which can also be bought for (I think) €2.75. Bad and this is not the first time in this branch

Not a great atmosphere but good service

I Asked the manager for my favorite burger to be made fresh from the gril, which did not happened. I watched the whole process in which the assemblers did not wear gloves🤮 and touched their asses. The manager reacted weirdly and almost mad at me. Kept insisting on my taking a seat wich i did at the waiting place. In front of the counter. waiting for my food at the waiting place in front of the counter. i want to eat in a clean place, and see how my food is prepared. I dont want al of the people in the kitchen to touch my food with their bare hands. As i got my food i checked my favorite burger and the box was drenched in fat. I got to a table looked around and saw a dirty loby, it was not bussy in the loby so what is wrong with this place. This is not what i paid for and not what im used to from a multi millionaire company like McDonald's. Hygeine; was really bad check your HACCP rules. service hospitality; I felt like i was getting ready to throw some punches at the manager in specific, thus also very bad. You pay 50 cents for the toilet and then pee in the filthiest toilet ever. I made an appointment at the mental health clinic to check my health after this toilet visit. It's that you can't give 0 stars... that includes the whole thing The store is full of whining children. And they let your food get cold.

Busy MacDonald in the center of town. Large order was delivered super quickly.

For the third time in a row, we forgot things that we had ordered. The solution was to pick it up, so the rest of the order was now cold at home. Shame

We will not eat at this McDonald's again. The burgers were lukewarm, the tables were dirty, the trays were also dirty and the food scraps were against the wall. You couldn't pay for the toilets with your card (I climbed over the turnstile). The men's toilet was too dirty for words, the floor was wet and there was toilet paper on the floor. No more McDonald Alkmaar center for us.

The uncleanest store I've visited in a long time

They often have IT problems there, or you can't pay or no receipt comes out. Once they even forgot a burger. When I went back I did get it but there was no lettuce or tomato or anything on it at all, just bread and Patty...

Food was fine, just very dirty. Toilets were just rancid, more urine around them than in the toilet.

Unfortunately the dirtiest McDonald's I've been to so far. There were hardly any clean tables and there were things lying on them everywhere, even though it was hardly busy. Toilets also cost another 50 cents extra. Then of course something was missing from the order. I'll avoid McDonald's from now on.

Visited a McDonald's once about 40 years ago but never again.

Good food took a bit long for a fast food restaurant. Happy meal is cheap for 6 euros you get a toy, burger or nuggets of your choice, free small soft drinks etc and small fries

Dirty trash cans, dirty floors, paying for the toilet while you are a customer. Not good.

An outdated, small and somewhat messy McDonalds. Even when it is not busy (a rare occasion), it still feels crowded and chaotic. The large amount of delivery people waiting at the entrance contributes to this. Seating is often dirty. Service consists generally of teenagers with varied motivation and one adult trying to lead it all. The food is just regular McDonald's. I never had complaints or problems here, but I do not consider it a pleasant place.

It's a pity that we DO have to pay a deposit on bottles that we buy here but cannot return. Toilet was dirty!!! But I have to pay 50 cents for this.

You shouldn't ask any questions about atmosphere and service because that is not available with a Mac. You eat there because your grandchild likes it.

There was 3 of us there to buy food first of all 50cents for toilet after spending 14€ is crazy orders took like 15 minutes to arrive it aint hard tm i worked there also 2 of my friends were able to steal a plastic cup and they gave me a paper cup brokies broke loosers

Dirty McDonald. It's rude that customers have to pay for toilets despite ordering them.

It's fine to eat, but even with €40 worth of food you still need €0.50 in coins to use the toilet.
