After the renovation, this McDonald's is even more beautiful. There's always room, and the food is good. The table service is also a welcome addition.

Personally, I prefer the old decor. It has a bit more of a 70s look now. The help was really helpful, though. It's nice that someone went the extra mile to get a Happy Meal figurine out of the display case and searched for 10 keys to open it, but in the end, she succeeded. My daughter was thrilled! 👍🏻Thanks!!!

Very nice place and nice food and delivery

Went here for dinner last night with my family. I really wanted the Friends menu with the dolls, and the manager was very helpful! A staff member even gave my daughter a little something extra! A fantastic experience.

Holy shit, nothing is fresh at this McDonald's. Really poor quality.

McDonald's has been renovated, and the space has become larger, which is a plus. However, the interior is very dull and basic. The new Big Arch hamburger is good. One minor complaint is that employees empty trash cans and change bags between and next to customers, which isn't very welcoming.

Hi Macy, 10 minutes before I went to the bathroom, I was supposed to wash my hands, and that manager was there too, but he wouldn't wash his hands. And he's pacing around in the kitchen. I find that very unsanitary and not nice.

10 minutes waiting just to get cold food

It's really annoying that the disabled parking spaces are being occupied by people who DON'T have a disabled parking permit. If you raise a concern, they look at you like, "What are you doing to me?"

Worst McDonald's in the area. They simply can't get your order right. Meanwhile, you're constantly paying for something they don't deliver.

I quickly grabbed a meal... normally delicious, but this time the fries were half-raw, and the hamburger had more onion than iceberg lettuce... but when I needed to use the restroom, someone had peed on the floor... it smelled terrible, and there was feces on the toilet paper holder. I reported it to the person in charge, and he promised it would be taken care of. After the meal, I tried to use the restroom again, and unfortunately, it was still the same... and it wasn't even busy. There's also a woman working there with a headscarf hanging loosely over her shoulder, and she keeps going over the food. I find that very distasteful. Not that this woman wears one, because I respect that, but she could also tie it up so it doesn't get caught in the food she brings to the table.

I paid but didn't get any food, even with proof of payment. There was a glitch in their payment system, so they blamed the customer for the problem.

The nicest and cleanest McDonalds in Netherlands (we’ve been to most of them). But, the sodas are still priced at highway robery rates. Just don’t expect US efficiency and speed at a fast-food restaurant in Holland.

Even though the drive didn't go "completely" smoothly, Lyenne helped us out again and we were given drinks on the house. So sweet, and we'll definitely be back!

I ordered a milkshake with a disposable cup, and paid a 30-cent plastic surcharge for it. I ended up getting a plastic cup. I didn't get my money back. Delicious milkshake. Fast service.

Ronduit vies. Full rubbish bins everywhere, slippery floor and tables that stuck to you. Manager approached: "well, I had a coffee break". Dit was troep van een paar uur. Zicht op de keuken: om misselijk van te worden. Overal voedsel op de grond. Echt goor!! Onprofessionele houding van personeel.

I go here a lot. All the workers are super nice but I don’t think they’re properly trained. I was really looking forward to my large fries tonight (brought to us by what looked like a manager, same one who forgot the fry sauce for the person in front of me) and then I nearly cried when I saw this half empty box with none extra in the bag 🤣😭 I don’t normally write reviews but I was so hungry and looking forward to that large fry for hours so it was disappointing enough to write a review about.

I eat at McDonald's two or three times a week and I am really happy with McDonald's in Purmerend and sometimes in Zaandam, sometimes Amsterdam. I give you advice, because they try. Thanks

Last Friday evening, February 28, around 10:10 PM, I was with a colleague at this McDonald's restaurant Robijnstraat 1 to have something to eat. While we were eating there we saw a McDonald employee walking around in the kitchen with a cigarette butt in his mouth. He also filled the bags of fries. This man also had different clothes than the other employees, so probably a managerial position. I find this unacceptable!!!

Took a while for the food to arrive. Wasn't busy. Food not very hot either. Mozzarella sticks a bit tough. Very neat and a slightly different design compared to other locations. Staff friendly.

Received the wrong order at the Drive for the umpteenth time. It's always very disappointing when, after a long wait, you find out at home that you don't have everything

What a very long wait at the drive-in! The young man who had to operate window 2 (right mouthpiece) simply refused to do his job... one moment please, he said and then 6 or 7 cars passed through on the left side! Inquiries revealed that the microphone for rows 1 and 2 is operated by 2 different people so it was not the fault of the young man behind row 1. But standing in line for 25 minutes just to get 2 mac flurry ice creams... so we'll never do that again

Visited the McDonald's drive-in today around noon, but unfortunately it was not a positive experience. The waiting time was extremely long, which was annoying in itself. When we finally got our order, it turned out not to be even correct: we ordered regular fries but got curly fries, and the mozzarella snack was completely missing. When we inquired, it turned out that the snacks had been forgotten, so we had to go back inside to solve the problem. To our surprise we had to pay for this again. All in all a disappointing experience – both in terms of service and speed. Hopefully something can be improved on this.

It takes long (20+ min) and food arrives cold

It's cold inside and there's a draft. After 35 minutes not even half of the food comes. After 50 minutes just ask where the rest remains and indicate what is still missing. After another 45 minutes the remainder arrives. 1.5 hours is really not normal if you think you need to eat quickly. Never again the MC Alkmaar!!

Terrible, you go with 4 kids and 4 adults to eat, then you wait 30 minutes for food, and afterwards 20 minutes for an ice cream, yes it was busy but the food looked bad, my worst McDonald's experience ever, the manager didn't seem to like it either to care. A family behind us has been waiting for an hour! They then went to hear that the order had simply not gone through. Never experienced this before in Friesland where we get away.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 2 mac drives open and no help is given, I see several cars being helped but at the other pole where I was standing they did not react ridiculously.

My fries weren't really hot and it wasn't busy so that wasn't the issue. I think the floor could be swept more often. Toilet were clean.

Vandaag m'n collega's getrakteerd op mc donalds omdat het mijn laatste dag was. Van een bestelling in het filiaal via bestelzuil van 135 euro bleek bij aankomst op kantoor dat 2 burgers en 1 salade niet waren meegegeven. Paar collega's dus nauwelijks wat te eten. Een enorme tegenvaller. Ik vraag me af hoe dat verkeerd kan gaan, het was geen enorm grote bestelling.

Yeah what can I say is just a mac

I went to McDonald's for a quick bite to eat with my husband and child. Beautiful building, with a cozy atmosphere. We all ordered some kind of fries, snack and drinks (so 3x) and it was there in 2 minutes! And it was packed too! The playground was very nice and big. It was indoors, so nice for when the weather gets bad, but a little less nice because of the noise. We were offered mozzarella sticks to try out, for free! We also liked the food, especially the paprika herbs that you could put on top and the curly fries. From an 'oops, we still have to eat' moment, to a fun, tasty experience. Tip, we couldn't quite find the entrance.

Something to snack on in the evening, nicely renovated after the renovation. Just a pity that the food was cold😅. And the chicken nuggets were either undercooked or not good. A black seed in the half nugget. The plastic better was not clean properly. There was lipstick on the outside and dirty marks on the edge of the inside.

Because of the drive you get the wrong thing 9 times out of 10... Even when things are quiet, things go wrong too often! Food is often cold or the fries are too soft.

Just had dinner at this location. What a horror. Waited 45 minutes for an order. I understand that when it is busy it can take a little longer, but .... and then the food arrived, it was still cold. female floor manager present totally unsuitable. 2 had no control over people in their pockets and finally when we left they stood in a circle with 30 people and they completely raged against a colleague who they put in front of Jan with his short surname in public.

Mediocre, all C grade. The assembly of the burgers is as chaotic and crooked as possible.

I haven't been to McDonald's in a long time and... NOW...I understand why...it's not a negative review (I understand that I should have just taken a larger fries) but it had already cooled down before I got in the car (take it with me) and paid €6.55 for this actual on the photo ... 3 stars .... they work today ... and have a nice day .. Next time I'll just come and get another McFlurry ... greetings from me 😊

Employees are not always friendly, often arrogant attitude. And unfortunately several times the complete order was not received at the drive. Unfortunately, you only notice that when you're gone.

Had to wait very long for the food

Delicious crunchy French fries and warm quater pounder. Supplied with napkins (you don't always get them). I used drive inn. Can't really talk about atmosphere and atmosphere. There were no drunk or excited guests at the drive inn so everything was fine.

We had to go to the bathroom and get something to eat. What an impressive Mac this is. Everything inside is very neat and spacious. It was absolutely not busy here around 11:00 PM on a Saturday evening. I went for a Big Tasty, my wife for a Mcflurry and together we had a Strawberry Milkshake. We had to wait about 7 minutes for our order to be ready...while there was no one in front of us. Bizarre. We took it away and my Big Tasty was lukewarm. Not nice and warm. The Mcflurry was almost only ice cream, had almost no kitkat in it... and the milkshake wasn't cold at all, didn't really taste like strawberries and wasn't nice or thick or firm, it looked more like drinking yoghurt. How difficult can it be to prepare everything nicely. Shame...
