That evening, we drove by for a hamburger at McDonald's. What a disappointment! The fries were cold, limp, and literally thrown in the bag. The hamburger wasn't even warm, which was just about right. No McDonald's for us for now.

They went overboard with the salt on the fries. The rest of the order was good, as it should be.

24-hour opening isn't true. The sign is at the drive-through, so you can't get in, and the door to the restaurant won't open either! It's terrible, because there are employees inside.

Truly one of the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever visited. Whenever I'm there, there are dirty tables everywhere, messy, and spilled food and drinks on the floor. The burgers are often dripping with grease or too much sauce. Definitely not recommended. I pass by regularly, and every now and then I think, "Come on, let's try it again," but it's always terrible. In the summer, the tables on the patio are also filthy. The restrooms aren't clean; I'll definitely be eating elsewhere from now on. There's also a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, which I'm not a fan of, but it can hardly be worse than this McDonald's...

They're not going to give everything away. Food isn't tasty. The tastiest part is appeals.

Orders are very difficult because the person taking them doesn't speak Dutch well. Hiring foreigners is a good thing, but make sure they speak and understand the language. Placing an order five times and still not getting it right is unacceptable to me. I'll go to someone else from now on.

Uncomplicated, fast, not crowded

A truly filthy place. If you want to eat, you have to wipe your table first. The restroom is absolutely disgusting. We were given menus, and if you think the fries are too old, you get new ones. The sandwiches were cold and tough. We had to reorder the whole thing, and it was incredibly greasy. The waitress kept apologizing for the poor quality, and the managers did nothing. A truly filthy place.

We ate here after our daughter's birthday party. Noa served us! It was fantastic. It was cozy. The food arrived quickly. And the kids had a great time. (Group of 10 kids) At the end, the girls got to make their own ice cream. What a blast! A solid 10!

Enjoy a quick burger inside or outside, the atmosphere is good and the food is not expensive.

Yesterday, we ordered two McFlurries at the drive-through, and after paying, we arrived at the pickup window and only got one...? And this isn't the first time this has happened to us. I'm getting so tired of it. We asked where the other one was (maybe it was still being made, since they're so incredibly slow there these days). Anyway, the counter clerk said, "No, they only ordered one, we said, 'No, two.' So, we had to go back to the drive-through to order another one and pay again, according to the manager who had already been called in. "Oh dear," we said, "that's the umpteenth time you've done that, and we don't think that's very nice." Anyway, we paid for two and got one. We feel cheated. We only left with one.

Mcdrive, full, but ultra-fast service and 100% correct, everything ordered received.

We went here after a birthday party because there's a boring job next door (not recommended). We ordered 5 menus, nothing was complete, we were missing a whole menu. The drinks were hot and the food was ice cold. The fries had no salt and were very cheesy. All the tables and chairs were completely dirty and sticky. The trash bins were completely overflowing, so we, the customers, started using the tables as trash cans. The service was also HORRIBLE everywhere. Tokki Toko 0/10. NOT recommended.

We went here for dinner after bowling next door (not recommended). We ordered five menus for five people. We received our food, and then the menu wasn't included. We asked for our food, and they didn't respond well, which was a disgrace. Our food was also cold, and the fries weren't salty. I wanted a Macwrap, but I got a veggie McWrap, a bit of a "wappie cultuur" (crazy culture). The food was cold and the drinks warm. The trash cans are overflowing, and the staff gives you an arrogant look. The Macflurries were warm and unstirred—delicious porridge. It's a tokkie place everywhere. I don't see a future here.

Sure, it's a Mäckes. But I have to say, it was the first one where you could actually get a conversation started. The kids got free ice cream, and it was very clean. Every other Mäckes could use it as a model.

The food was okay, the staff weren't particularly motivated, and the cleanliness was, quite frankly, a disaster.

I have never waited so long for ice cream anywhere and I am not careful with the ice cream bowl.

A typical McDonald's. The drive-thru was fast. Prices have become outrageous. Paid 9 for two double cheeseburgers. Parking spaces were full of carnival vehicles. It was confusing.

The 🍔 definitely taste better and fresher than in Germany.

We ordered two MacFlurries. There was very little in them and they were already mixed when we received them (see photos), which worries us a bit because someone might have taken a bite without us seeing it.

What an incredibly bad McDonald's. I've never had such salty fries in my life. I said something about it, but she only said one word in Dutch: "Sorry." But I can't eat that. We paid €3.70 for the two of us, including €7.40 for salt. The double quarter-pounder didn't work out either. I paid, but only got a single quarter-pound. I complained at the counter, but she looked at me like I could burn. And again, that first word she said... "Sorry." She looked like she was from Ukraine... I want to say back to her... "No sorry." For all McDonald's lovers... I'm glad the Russians take over. What disgusting food at Alkmaar West McDonald's. Please never come here. You'll get high blood pressure from the fries and an ulcer from the rest.

A welcoming and clean McDonald's. For dessert, the children were invited to make their own ice cream, which was a real treat.

A well-located McDonald's. Food, etc., is perfectly manageable. Nice outdoor patio in any weather. The slide is nearby, so you can keep a close eye on your kids, but that also means you'll hear them. There's even a second floor, so if the ground floor is full, you can go upstairs. So far, I haven't seen anything full.

Located conveniently in the edge of Alkmaar, this McDonald's has friendly service, serves the food fast and warm, and has a pleasant layout. Plenty of parking space and also has a McDrive. However, it should be noted that the restaurant is very busy and is frequented by a large amount of kids. The cleanliness suffers because of this: smelly toilets, sticky benches. Nevertheless, one ironic bonus is that it is located opposite of a big gym: I appreciate the guilt of eating junkfood while watching people who are making an effort to lose weight...

Beautiful "Macces" restaurant with ample parking. Very clean and tidy. It has a second floor. Orders are brought to your table.

There are nicer McDonald's but this one is ideally located, plenty of parking, there is also a seating area upstairs and the food and drinks are just McDonald's level

Ordered medium peach milkshake and unfortunately got severe stomach ache after 15 minutes. Hygiene definitely not in order here.

You come here once and the milkshake is just pure ice cream. Come back later and they can't even put the lids on your drink properly. Whole car full of coke. Simple things come on

Parking with caravan, friendly service

I find it extremely annoying that I often have to wait a long time in the drive. Then the car that arrives later is helped earlier at the pole. Should be faster than going inside. But that is a big disappointment

We had to wait a very long time for our order. Almost half an hour for 3 breakfast muffins. The espresso wasn't even ready then. We left it. Because we didn't want to wait any longer. Grumpy manager who can't communicate in a nice tone.

Food is what you would expect from a MAC. Not a very big restaurant, so it quickly fills up and gets busy. Takeaway is reasonably fast.

My experience with the McDonald's app was really great! I placed my order in advance at McDonald's Alkmaar and the collection went very smoothly. No long waits, no hassle—everything was ready on time as I ordered. The fries were deliciously hot, the burger was perfectly composed and my drink was ice cold. Ideal if you want to take your food quickly and without stress. Compliments to the team that arranges everything so well!

Ordered on the top floor via the order column, yes 20 minutes, but I went downstairs to see if anything would be delivered and it turned out that they had lost the order. A bit sloppy. While it wasn't busy. The manager resolved the matter very well.

Lovely sitting outside, the kids can play right in front of it... just a pity that the big and small children have to climb on the small play equipment, accidents happen.

Druk maar eten kwam snel, de blonde bedrijfsleidster met bril had alles goed onder controle, vuilnisbakken waren goed leeg, al het personeel liep vriendelijk rond om eten te bezorgen. Het eten is prima. En hele fijne klantenservice, ons happy meal poppetje kon geruild worden en de bedrijfleidster maakte nog een gezellig praatje met mijn zoon, ze had de hele tijd aandacht voor kinderen die er waren, om ze een extra leuke ervaring te bieden. Een voorbeeld voor andere mc donalds vestigingen!

We went twice in a weekend due to location for a gymnastics competition. Food was brought very late and cold. Qp meat was very old (kept more than the 10min rule). Frappes came without cream. Some in our group got extra food or were missing items. Don't sit upstairs unless you want to hear screaming kids in the play area. Workers bringing food should have hair pulled back btw. The guys who brought ours probably also needed to shower.

We ordered mc breakfast and big mac. we waited 30 minutes and after i went downstairs to ask how long more we need to wait. the girl said that its almost ready. then i got the order. and later i saw that i dont have a tea bag and croissant. then i should go downstairs to ask for missed items. i was already very angry then i saw that i dont have any sugar. i went for sugar. then my kid said he doesnt have a straw for milkshake. so i should go downstairs again for the straw so we waited more then 30 min. i 4 times i should go down and up for get missed items. thats very bad. And the restaurant was empty. i mean the workers were not busy. so just people are not professional here I dont reccomend this place. and myself i will not come here again

D Something went wrong with the order at the drive-thru. After a phone call, everything was resolved very neatly by the manager there. Compliments! That's how it should always be everywhere.

Cold food, but slow service is the worst, McDrive waiting time the same like inside. Tragedy, hire someone with brain. Packing separately drink for take out instead of paper holder in the bag and some stability. How I suppose to drive? With one hand holding drink? McDonald's advertises that it is open 24/7, both on the internet and on the signs at the McDrive, but in reality this is not true.
