You know what you get when you go to McDonald's.

I ordered a mac frappé and got a cup with ice cream. Yes, this is that deep.

Good Mac. It's a McDonald's. Good people work there.

I really like the fish burgers, but it feels like they have to be made in such a hurry. The breads are never neatly stacked, so half of the bread sticks to the cheddar cheese and the other half to the burger.

It was lovely sitting outside, the kids could play right in front of it... it's just a shame that the big and small children have to climb on the small play equipment, accidents happen.

A nice McDonald's that is very family-oriented.

MCchicken was nice and hot. Ice cream was fine. Just relaxing on the terrace for a while.

It was very quiet and everything was so dirty. We couldn't find a single clean table. Upstairs, downstairs, or outside. We asked an employee, but they didn't respond and weren't planning on wiping down the table. We asked another employee and told them that not a single table was clean, and then something was done about it. We have never been to a McDonald's where it was all so filthy! Never again for us!

You drive at 5:30 am, driving for 45 minutes from work to Alkmaar, and you see on Google that McDonald's is open 24 hours, so you hold out for a bit with your dying hunger, only to find out that they are closed. 🫩 The employee's explanation: on Fridays, the restaurant opens at 7 am. I point out again that the sign on the door states that the McDrive is open 24 hours on Fridays. He then says that the 24 hours start at 7 am. THEN IT'S NOT 24 HOURS, IS IT?! Sorry, but this is just harassment.

Not getting help in the drive-thru after 20 minutes still nothing, no answer, all just during opening hours.

We come from far away for a good breakfast.

A good, fairly large McDonald's. Friendly staff, especially at the order counter in the drive-thru. Ordering in English was no problem. It takes a while for the food to arrive inside, but it's fresh and hot. Crispy croissants for breakfast are a welcome treat. There's seating downstairs, upstairs, and on the patio. The restrooms were always fine in the mornings. We enjoyed coming here.

Just what you expect from a McDonald's. Not much, just fast food. Where this McDonald's does excel, however, is the downright despicable mess around the Mac. As a walker in the area, you simply notice just how much trash is lying around. Even the ditch further down the road is full of McDonald's packaging. A disgrace!

I only ordered water and a cup of cappuccino. The atmosphere and service were good. As for the ready-made meals: that is the last thing I would order here.

Had coffee; the tables and floor were filthy. The toilets weren't clean either; no milk or stirrers upstairs. They should take a leaf out of the book of the McDonald's in the northeast of the country; they are spotless.

Friendly staff. Fast service. Was even offered a great deal. Will be back.

Birthday McFlurry Oreo. The ice cream is grossly clumpy and yellowish in color. I get it's free, but still... is the milk still good? Thanks for the free ice cream anyway.

Tasty salty fries and being spied on by the cops all the time... One calls it safety, the other an invasion of privacy.

Small, but with an upstairs. Not atmospheric. Food is what you would expect. Unfortunately, it was not clean.

Taking orders is very difficult because the person taking them does not have a good command of the Dutch language; hiring foreigners is fine, but make sure they speak and understand the language... Passing on an order 5 times and still not getting it right is unacceptable as far as I am concerned. I will go to another place from now on....

We arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered coffee, but the coffee machine was broken. A staff member in the kitchen completely skipped our order, causing us to wait a long time. Eventually, we received free cookies (which we had actually already paid for), plus one extra because a flavor was wrong. They also promised a free dessert as compensation, but we never received it. The food arrived lukewarm (except for the 6 free chicken nuggets, which were okay). The service felt chaotic and not very attentive. It's a shame, because with a little more care and communication, this could have been much better. Hopefully, this is a one-off, because the location itself has potential. For now, not highly recommended.

It's always busy here, the food is okay, the tables were really dirty... but hey, it's just a McDonald's. Don't expect too much, and you can grab a quick bite here just fine.

Fatbikes, loitering teenagers, and a messy impression outside. Inside, two trash cans overflowing. No clean tables, so I just did some cleaning myself. Not a beauty contest, but the food was fine.

Food really tasty, just like you'd expect at McDonald's. It's just a shame they often forget half of the items here. Otherwise, due to the location, it's a boring McDonald's.

The food was cold, there weren't many options (do they really only have a fraction of the burgers here compared to Germany?), and the staff seemed pretty incompetent. Oh well... We won't be back...

Well, that was the last time we went to this McDonald's. We spent 50 euros and everything was cold, no straws, and we had to ask where the Happy Meal was; they had forgotten it. Plus, someone told the staff to clean the toilets because you enjoy doing that, right in front of people. Why treat your staff like that? No, last time for us.

The Latte Macchiato was really so gross. I even asked if it really was a Latte. "Yes, of course," the young man said politely. There was even some coffee grounds in the cup! So not used to this! I think the machine needs replacing. I won't be having a second cup.

Burger lukewarm for the 2nd time, no napkins included with the menu, will not be happy to return.

We write reviews about tasty food, beautiful places, cool parks, and yes, about McDonald’s too. It’s all part of the deal. The Mc is actually a place you’d be better off avoiding. But every once in a while, on a wild night out, that gut feeling creeps up anyway. Then you think: let me just drive into the drive-in and indulge in some bad behavior. Tonight was one of those moments. I ordered way too much food—just enough to regret it immediately after the last bite. The staff were friendly, there is ample parking, and there are plenty of trash cans to keep the area tidy. So that’s all good. But my biggest disappointment? The fries. We know, in 2026 shrinkflation is everywhere, but this was a real farce. €4.50 for a serving of fries that wasn't even 40% full… that makes no sense. I hope my wild craving for the Mc is satisfied for now.

Mediocre establishment with a modern layout on two floors. McCafe and McDrive. Everything moves incredibly slowly here, and you can also see that the staff lacks coordination, causing orders to be handled chaotically. Many rude customers who leave their trash behind.

Nice McDonald's with excellent opening hours, but it always seems to take an eternity to get your order. Even when it's super quiet and you're just ordering a coffee.

What a terrible McDonald's. Rarely have I seen such a filthy mess. Toilets filthy, coffee corner filthy, and hardly a clean table to be found, in a virtually empty place! No attention is paid to hygiene.

The interior is filthy. Benches, landing, stairs, and toilet. There's trash and food scraps everywhere. I hope the kitchen hygiene is better. The food tasted good.

Unfortunately not a good experience

Horribly bad McDonald's. It's always filthy, the tables, the floor, and the restrooms. Orders are delivered incompletely, and the wrong items were then put on a different tray to give to others. By then, the food had already been upstairs and cooled. Yuck. Furthermore, the food is lukewarm, and the fries are way too salty. We don't have any culinary expectations for McDonald's, just a nice, simple snack, but please get the basics right here. McDonald's East is much better!

Compared to McDonald's in Houthalen (Belgium), This is great. You get warm fries here. Warm sandwiches! I'm loving it!

We went here for dinner in the early evening. Ordering was easy via the order screens, and we opted for table service. We found a spot upstairs, but the tables were quite dirty, and there was a lot of food scraps on the floor. The garbage bin was overflowing, causing everything around it to be covered in trash. The food was delivered quickly but was lukewarm, not quite cold enough to send back. Otherwise, it was reasonably tasty, for what you'd expect from McDonald's. The staff is disinterested and doesn't notice the mountain of trash by the bin when they walk past. Not the best McDonald's I've ever had... (that was in Lemmer, great!)

Cold fries, cold burger, cold everything! The toilet paper was stuck, and after half an hour of pulling, I only had a few sheets in my hands. The result of poor management, nothing more!

That evening, we drove by for a hamburger at McDonald's. What a disappointment! The fries were cold, limp, and literally thrown in the bag. The hamburger wasn't even warm, which was just about right. No McDonald's for us for now.

They went overboard with the salt on the fries. The rest of the order was good, as it should be.

24-hour opening isn't true. The sign is at the drive-through, so you can't get in, and the door to the restaurant won't open either! It's terrible, because there are employees inside.

It is better to starve at night than to eat anything there, unless you like raw and cold food.

Truly one of the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever visited. Whenever I'm there, there are dirty tables everywhere, messy, and spilled food and drinks on the floor. The burgers are often dripping with grease or too much sauce. Definitely not recommended. I pass by regularly, and every now and then I think, "Come on, let's try it again," but it's always terrible. In the summer, the tables on the patio are also filthy. The restrooms aren't clean; I'll definitely be eating elsewhere from now on. There's also a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, which I'm not a fan of, but it can hardly be worse than this McDonald's...

They're not going to give everything away. Food isn't tasty. The tastiest part is appeals.

Uncomplicated, fast, not crowded

A truly filthy place. If you want to eat, you have to wipe your table first. The restroom is absolutely disgusting. We were given menus, and if you think the fries are too old, you get new ones. The sandwiches were cold and tough. We had to reorder the whole thing, and it was incredibly greasy. The waitress kept apologizing for the poor quality, and the managers did nothing. A truly filthy place.

We ate here after our daughter's birthday party. Noa served us! It was fantastic. It was cozy. The food arrived quickly. And the kids had a great time. (Group of 10 kids) At the end, the girls got to make their own ice cream. What a blast! A solid 10!

Enjoy a quick burger inside or outside, the atmosphere is good and the food is not expensive.

Google says it's open 24 hours on Fridays, a big red sign in the drive-thru! Didn't see any food, can you believe it?

Yesterday, we ordered two McFlurries at the drive-through, and after paying, we arrived at the pickup window and only got one...? And this isn't the first time this has happened to us. I'm getting so tired of it. We asked where the other one was (maybe it was still being made, since they're so incredibly slow there these days). Anyway, the counter clerk said, "No, they only ordered one, we said, 'No, two.' So, we had to go back to the drive-through to order another one and pay again, according to the manager who had already been called in. "Oh dear," we said, "that's the umpteenth time you've done that, and we don't think that's very nice." Anyway, we paid for two and got one. We feel cheated. We only left with one.

Mcdrive, full, but ultra-fast service and 100% correct, everything ordered received.

This really can't be done, what a mess.

We went here after a birthday party because there's a boring job next door (not recommended). We ordered 5 menus, nothing was complete, we were missing a whole menu. The drinks were hot and the food was ice cold. The fries had no salt and were very cheesy. All the tables and chairs were completely dirty and sticky. The trash bins were completely overflowing, so we, the customers, started using the tables as trash cans. The service was also HORRIBLE everywhere. Tokki Toko 0/10. NOT recommended.

We went here for dinner after bowling next door (not recommended). We ordered five menus for five people. We received our food, and then the menu wasn't included. We asked for our food, and they didn't respond well, which was a disgrace. Our food was also cold, and the fries weren't salty. I wanted a Macwrap, but I got a veggie McWrap, a bit of a "wappie cultuur" (crazy culture). The food was cold and the drinks warm. The trash cans are overflowing, and the staff gives you an arrogant look. The Macflurries were warm and unstirred—delicious porridge. It's a tokkie place everywhere. I don't see a future here.

Sure, it's a Mäckes. But I have to say, it was the first one where you could actually get a conversation started. The kids got free ice cream, and it was very clean. Every other Mäckes could use it as a model.

The food was okay, the staff weren't particularly motivated, and the cleanliness was, quite frankly, a disaster.

I have never waited so long for ice cream anywhere and I am not careful with the ice cream bowl.

A typical McDonald's. The drive-thru was fast. Prices have become outrageous. Paid 9 for two double cheeseburgers. Parking spaces were full of carnival vehicles. It was confusing.

The 🍔 definitely taste better and fresher than in Germany.

We ordered two MacFlurries. There was very little in them and they were already mixed when we received them (see photos), which worries us a bit because someone might have taken a bite without us seeing it.
