Burger King in Wijk 01 Nijmegen-Centrum

First of all, it is not clean. The floors are sticky and the tables are not cleaned. There were long waiting times even though there were few customers present. The milkshakes were sold out, so I had to go and tap the free drinks myself (I was just given empty cups) even though I had paid for the milkshake? I also paid 3 euros for Sprite, which you then have to tap yourself and subsequently tastes like something completely different. The ice machine was also broken. Additionally, the toilets are very filthy; there is no toilet paper and the toilet locks are poor. You do have to pay 50 cents for the toilets, so you would expect a clean toilet. The burger was cold with cheese that wasn't even melted. Also, it had really only a tiny drop of sauce.

The food was good, ordering online works well, but you don't get a receipt. Nobody does. So you have to remember your own number. Additionally, they mixed up our shakes. So all in all, a mediocre performance, even if they have everything digital. And the toilet? It's constantly running. Barely a quarter. Furthermore, it lacks atmosphere and there is no music.

Two people can't keep up with the orders.

It is already better than before. At first, it was a garbage dump at your place and it stank inside. I haven't been back since then, but the place could still be cleaner.

Really disappointed with this location. The cheddar fries here used to be the best thing on the menu, but the state of the restaurant makes it hard to enjoy anything. The dining area was dirty — sticky tables that didn't look wiped down in a while, and a general smell throughout the restaurant. The restroom was in an unacceptable condition, unclean both inside and around the toilet area. The place felt severely understaffed, and it showed — no one seemed to be keeping up with basic cleaning or maintenance. I won't be returning to this location until there's a clear improvement in hygiene and staffing.

Disappointing. It was not clean inside, and the sofas and chairs were dirty, damaged, and covered in food residue. The toilet was also very dirty, even though you have to pay to use it. It's a shame; this could really be better.

The toilets were super dirty, the seat of the girls' toilet was missing, the tap was broken, and there was no toilet paper. I had also already been waiting 30 minutes for my food and then had to wait another 20 minutes because they served the wrong order.

Normally, I am a big fan of Burger King, but the chain is struggling with a serious consistency problem. Unfortunately, this specific branch in Nijmegen proves that for the second time. The food: The burger was disappointing. A nearly cold bun with lukewarm meat. The drink dispensers are not properly calibrated; the Fanta was extremely sickly sweet and undrinkable due to an incorrect syrup-to-water ratio (the Coke was okay, though). The atmosphere: The seating is decent, but the building has terrible acoustics. All kitchen sounds and ambient noise echo disturbingly loudly through the space. The fact that it was very quiet here in terms of customers doesn't surprise me at all in hindsight. This is the last time for me here.

Very disappointing experience at Burger King. The food was not tasty and, moreover, cold when served. The wait time was much too long, about 40 minutes. The restaurant was dirty and poorly maintained. The Twister fries were hard and tasted like they had been sitting there for half a day. For this price and service, I expected much more. I will not be coming back here.

This is the dirtiest restaurant O have ever been. Came in and strong old trash smell in all room. I had to tell them to clean up before I puke. Than they gave me a food on dirty plate (photo). It was disgusting experience and I read they don't even wash hands... I'm calling for control. It cannot be legal. Ketchup on walls every table dirty and those guys chat and do nothing in close to empty restaurant... Never coming back.

Great location, all the fries are good

My girlfriend and I went here and ordered for about €30. Two medium menus with a Euro Vlammer and some chicken nuggets. First of all, the printer wasn't working, so we didn't get a receipt to show at the cashier. The portion of fries was even smaller than a small portion of fries from McDonald's. I paid an extra €1 for bacon on the burger that wasn't there. Also, the drinks were no longer carbonated. Furthermore, we didn't receive a tray with our order. The toilet was locked and it was very dirty everywhere. The staff wasn't exactly friendly either. The only reason for the 2nd star is that they gave us 7 nuggets instead of 6. Not recommended for eating here.

Shame on you trucker lady with white jbl headphones... NEVER AGAIN LOST A CUSTOMER. People that Judge base of appearance should not be allowed to work.

No tables outside when the sun was shining. And the soda fountain puts too much gas in the drinks making it foam up to the top

I know it was King's Day today, but that doesn't excuse the terrible service. My order was stolen, and when I asked for an explanation, showing the receipt, they first challenged me and only later remade it. I didn't realize, however, that the sandwiches were wrong (they didn't have cheddar, even though I hadn't changed anything) and many of the sandwiches were unavailable, so I couldn't even use the coupon.

The manager didn't even think to deploy more staff on an evening when all of Nijmegen and the surrounding area is in the city. The employees get 5 stars, the management 1.

Missed items Small quantities, no quality control !!!

It was relatively empty when we were there yesterday. What we ordered as a large order of fries turned into a small order, and what we ordered as a 9-piece chicken nugget order became a 6-piece order. The tables we sat at were sticky and dirty. Using the restroom cost 50 cents. That 50 cents is fine. But the restrooms were filthy, there was no toilet paper, and the doors were very difficult to lock. A large chain like Burger King should definitely run more smoothly!

There is hardly anyone in the restaurant, and yet it takes 30 minutes for our order to be ready. No receipt comes out of the self-service kiosks, and the ice machine isn't working. We had ordered an ultimate cheddar burger, but there was no cheese on it 🧐

I moticed one worker cleaning thrash and then going to prepare food dieectly withoit washing hands and generally looks very unhygiemic.. today i saw the same worker she kicked away some burhers on the floor amd are still on floor i hope but should have put in thrash directly..

There were hardly any customers, and we waited for over 20 minutes. And then the food was cold. You pay a hefty price for your food, but the restroom is locked. They don't want people using it. Now it's even harder to find a suitable restroom. It's also deathly quiet, so there's no atmosphere at all. All in all, very, very disappointing. And a tip for people: go somewhere else.

Long wait and terrible food! The food was cold before it even arrived. I had to get my own drinks, but the machine wasn't clean at all! I threw more than half of it in the trash. And I've only eaten somewhere else where the food was good! I'll never go back to this restaurant!

They don't sell everything they claim to, the food is cold, and there's hair in the burgers. The service is terrible, and it's very dirty. They clearly don't clean. The burger wasn't cooked through!

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this Burger King. The staff was noticeably unfriendly and grumpy, making you feel completely unwelcome. Furthermore, the restrooms were in truly appalling condition: filthy everywhere, it looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. There was literally feces in several places. This is not what you'd expect from a large chain like Burger King. Hopefully, this will be taken seriously, because this is simply not how you should welcome customers.

I ordered a Veggie Double Bacon King Burger, and it came wrapped as such, but it ended up being real bacon, not vegetarian. I’ve been a vegetarian for moral reasons for 10 years, and this was really upsetting. I should be able to trust an establishment to correctly handle vegetarian dishes. I ended up getting a refund.

Ordered food, and it was ready quickly. You can get ice cream if you give 5 stars. I value honesty more than ice cream. The food was decent. One burger was grilled too long and was inedible. The other burger was fine. But with so few staff and so many orders, that can happen. Inside the area where you had to tap drinks, there was a strong smell of urine.

The food was okay, but the manager was rather indifferent, his shirt hanging loose, and he only came out of his office sighing to help the crew. The restaurant itself was only acceptably clean if you couldn't see beyond eye level... Too bad, it makes my heart ache a little.

Went from sweeping the lobby to handling food without proper sanitairy precautions. Also the old lady manager told me that the did not have to wash their hands, because when she pick up trash, they can just directly handle food afterwards when they pack the food

Worst fast food place I have been in the Netherlands. The fries were stale. My burger smelled like fish and was not fresh. We took a bite of both the chips and burger and decided to just leave it at that and go to a different place on the way home. What a waste of money for 26 euros. Will never ever go here again. And this place will have us not visit a burger king for a long time.. thinking about the food still makes me feel squimish. Should have known when we walked in and we were the only people there. Stayed there waiting for the food for 10 mins, did not see anyone coming or going on a friday night.

I don't recommend it! The hall often smells of rotten garbage. The toilet is poorly cleaned, there are some stains on the walls.

I ordered a menu, and after receiving it, I placed it on a table to refill my soda at the vending machine. When I returned, my order was missing and stolen. I approached the managers, but no one helped me. The restaurant is unsafe, and you shouldn't leave your belongings unattended. We stopped in Nijmegen on our way to eat at Burger King. Never before had we experienced such a bad Burger King. What terrible service, yuck! Never again will Burger King Nijmegen, completely avoid it, just avoid it.

We had a delicious vegetarian meal here. It tasted great. There weren't many fries with it, though. But it was hot and tasty.

If you're not a stickler for detail, don't mind the mess, the unfriendly staff, have all the time in the world, and don't care what you end up with on your tray... Then this is the place for you!

Terrible service. I ordered and sat down, but the table was dirty. So I asked if they could clean it, but the staff simply ignored me at first. Then they came by and simply threw a stack of napkins on the table, without saying a word.

Definitely not recommended. The delivery time deviates greatly from what is stated in advance. I have tried to contact them by phone several times, but each time I hear the same sentence: that no one is available to answer at that moment. Then the line is simply disconnected. The delivery time just keeps increasing. The delivery costs are €5, something I would normally be able to accept, but in relation to what you get in return, that is far too high. In any case, Burger King is no longer on my list. I therefore strongly advise against this business.

We only went because of the coupons on the app. The food tasted good. In general it was very dirty everywhere. The toilets were sheer horror. They want 50 cents for use. It smelled and there was no soap. To top it all off, a man came out of the ladies' room.

What an inefficient, non-customer-oriented club with employees who radiate disinterest. They move at a snail's pace. And with a rack full of burgers that have now cooled down and an even larger group of waiting customers. And then having to do nothing for minutes because of an unclear job. This is very special...

We were in the city for a walk and the children suggested visiting, we did not refuse... And we were pleased with the availability and quality of food and drinks, the staff was also smiling and if something was not clear, they explained it as best they could, but they helped. We took the food prepared to our order and enjoyed it. Afterwards, we cleaned up the trash after ourselves and went for a walk again.. We'll be around again someday and will definitely stop by!

Oil but also oil stupid staff. The butt of the cow they make those burgers from is even smarter. I understand for 10 euros per hour. Not recommended! Far too expensive and the food was served partly cold and partly ice cold. I even took it from the waitress's hand to keep it warm, but it was already cold when I picked it up. It doesn't work that way. It was also cold in the shop because the door was basically constantly open even though it was very cold outside! My friend and I were freezing. The door was automatic and didn't always close immediately. And the outer door was constantly open, someone had left it open, probably for wheelchair users... I can understand that, but you can also put a button there so that wheelchair users can press it if they want to get in and therefore not the whole thing Store is shock frozen! Never again! Were there last time!
