Really bad. Soggy buns and lukewarm. I've never had such a bad whopper, one star is already too much.

Just make sure you're on time. Otherwise, you'll end up with pale fries. And the times in the app and on maps are wrong.

Even one star is too much. We got food for the whole family, including grandparents. It was pathetic, the tray was cold, and after complaining, the food was still lukewarm. I understand why it was so quiet here. The staff should be ashamed of themselves.

Was getting take-out food on the 19/12/2025, between 19:00 and 20:00, the staff were preparing the burgers using bare hands (this is against the food safety regulations); despite not many customers, the staff were very disorganised; my order was prepared late and they forgot to put one of the items I ordered.

It was very clean, the service was great. The order was handled well, we even got a little something extra. The wait time was good. Deliciously fresh. AMAZING! I don't know why there are such bad reviews.

The manager is involved and he really does his best. But the staff who don't do their best is the biggest problem of this branch.

We went here for dinner at 7:20 PM for two. When ordering, it quickly became clear that more than half the order was sold out; all the king shakes, most of the burgers, and the drinks were already gone. We then had to wait a long time for our order number to disappear from the plate, and we wondered if we'd still get our food. After a long wait, our order number was finally called, but the burgers were already cold, incorrectly prepared, and without sauce.

Super friendly staff. My daughter spilled her drink, so she asked for a mop. It was immediately cleaned up by a friendly young man, and I even got a new bottle of drink. It wasn't necessary, but it was much appreciated! The food was delicious; it could have been a bit warmer, but otherwise, it was great.

There was a pleasant employee, 5 stars for him, the rest is very sad!

Worst Burger King I've ever been to. Ordered a double whopper menu with twister fries and mayonnaise to take home. Ordered mayo, but didn't get any. The burger was cold, and the meat tasted burnt and had hard bits in it. There was hardly any sauce on it and it tasted stale. Half a bag of twister fries was filled with regular fries, even though you paid for twister fries. Furthermore, the food in Burger King itself was disgusting. The floor was sticky and dirty. I don't recommend visiting this Burger King.

Burger King Flamed Vegan burgers are the best. They're cooked on a separate plate. Fries are always crispy. Parking is free (but watch out for potholes). No drive-thru. Dirty tables, but plenty of them. Plenty of staff (5). Order kiosks and a regular cash register are available.

Yeah, it's just Burger King. Nothing special, everything's very small. But what I did like was how pitch-black it was outside, even your car was in the dark. A few lights outside would be great.

The food was cold, the cheese was still hard and cold. The fries were unsalted and very soggy when cold. The pickle was stuck to the bottom and top of the burger. Everything was extremely slow; we waited 25 minutes for four burgers. And we were the only ones ordering at that time. The restrooms were filthy and broken. This is definitely not bad news for Burger King.

Staff sometimes only speaks English.

This Burger King is closed relatively often, despite the website and Google saying they are open.

I don't expect it to be hot, but at least the sandwiches should be warm. The cheese wasn't even melted. The wrong drink was served. There was always something wrong with it. The sandwich wasn't assembled correctly, the meat was cold, the bacon was cold, and the drink had ice in it even though I asked for it to be plain. This is the last time.

Thank you for the reviews and saving our time! We're not going there! 😀 Even though we're really close by and would love to eat a burger on the way home.

Super tasty if you like burgers

You can't call this fast food anymore. It wasn't even that busy, but I still waited half an hour for two menus. I even got a medium menu instead of the long one I ordered. I decided to leave it because I didn't feel like waiting that long again. The pace and quality of this BK are incredibly slow, it's unacceptable. There's also no one behind the counter, so someone always has to leave the kitchen to help people at the cash register. This is my last time at this BK.

The staff is impossible to reach, even after trying three times. I ordered, but I didn't see my number and there was no receipt from the machine. Furthermore, the wait was incredibly long, and I was stuck to the floor! The food was mediocre.

It's terrible to see how Maria keeps the shop afloat. There were 15 people waiting in front of us, and there were 15 other people. The guy behind the counter was busy doing everything, but certainly not helping the customers. At 7 o'clock, orders weren't being taken anymore. Whirlwind Maria got the orders out in a reasonable amount of time. Then the two guys disappeared into a cubicle, and Maria had to clean up everything. Corporate: kick those two guys out immediately, and Maria is a statue. She's running that place all by herself.

Also, the burgers we ordered were all cold.

I bought a sandwich here tonight, and when I got home, I was confronted with this scene. I think the picture says it all, and I don't need to explain any more. I think these are the reasons Burger King never improves.

This location is really damaging the Burger King reputation. If all the burgers are gone and the milkshake machine isn't working, they might as well close down.

I just got food; I was SO tired. These fighters really set me straight. I even asked some difficult questions because I was late with coupons, this and that. Then something went wrong with the payment. Team Leader Maria came quickly and fixed it. The guy behind the counter was so nice. In the end, I'm leaving with too much food and I'm happy. THANK YOU! I wish you a green light at every traffic light and 7 nuggets if you order chicken 6.

This is probably the most depressing BK restaurant I’ve been to in this country. The restaurant has no atmosphere and the outside seating is quite poorly setup. But the people were kind and helpful and the food was quite ok.

The experience was good, clean, fast servers, and not overcrowded. The food was nice and hot, tasted good, and was delivered quickly.

Where do I begin... this was the worst Burger King I've ever been to. First of all, half the menu was unavailable. There were no chicken products, so no burgers or nuggets. The chili cheese nuggets and all the loaded fries were also unavailable. All the trash cans were overflowing, and trash was strewn across the floor. Not to mention the incredibly disgusting sticky floor. Also, the burgers we ordered were all cold. When I asked for a new one, it was ready quickly, of course. But we'd already waited over 20 minutes for our order before that, and it wasn't busy. When we tried to return the returnable cups, they didn't say anything back, and they just shoved money in our hands. Such a shame...

Mmmm, no, the parking lot was unclear. The Whopper didn't seem complete to me; it was missing the onions. The milkshake was good.

Way too expensive for two burgers that weren't tasty either. Luckily, the milkshake was good.

Well, just walking in and having to go straight to a screen irritates me. I wanted cash, but no one at the register would do. The staff spoke English (I managed, but they stupidly directed me to that screen). Well ordered -> takeaway And in the car, I noticed there was no fries sauce... And when I finally wanted to try that double cheeseburger XXL, it turned out to be some plain chicken burger 👎🏻 What a sad mess. It was already rude right outside the door. The staff is completely unconcerned with the customer. And they simply give you the wrong burgers. This was the first and also the last time for De Meern (it was definitely the first time at Burger King).

I placed an order 10 minutes before closing time. Upon entering, I was given a rude look by a staff member, and they spoke in a different language to each other. They eventually took my order, but there was no cheese on my sandwiches. I called twice the next day, but there was no answer. You really have to double-check what you've ordered, and the atmosphere isn't great either.

Great music, but the service and food were truly terrible. I literally had to wait 45 minutes for my order, only to receive the wrong items, and some of them simply didn't arrive. The staff just stood around and didn't do a thing, even though it was busy. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

What a terrible Burger King! Probably the worst in the Netherlands. It was 6:30 (half an hour before an already ridiculous closing time, but oh well). No whopper, no soda, no mayonnaise, etc. What was available was delivered with difficulty, wrong, cold, and absolutely not Burger King-worthy. Absolutely not worth the money.

I ordered coffee, but they didn't have it. Then I tried hot chocolate, but they didn't have that either. Even ice cream wasn't available. I honestly wonder why the place is even open. Moreover, the staff doesn't speak the language, which makes ordering very difficult. This was a disappointing experience.

After a bad review you should also be sporty and say that it has changed 100% there, (certainly a new management has come) but it is now top, compliments for the improvements, the food has also really improved 100 x now 👌🙌💯✌️

The parking lot looks like a war zone. Inside the store itself, Arabic music plays over the speakers. The staff is disinterested, scuffling with each other while there's a line. Incidentally, the staff don't speak Dutch or Arabic to each other. It felt like a fever dream; I immediately went to La Place next door.

Worst BK in the Netherlands! They close the doors whenever they want. Nobody ever played with blocks, because not a single Whopper comes out of the kitchen properly stacked. A downside that's a plus in this case: self-order kiosks; chances are they don't speak Dutch. Simply bad.

No cashiers, everything is done through screens, which is rather impersonal. And the prices are still the same...

When we wanted to eat there (7:10 PM), they were just closing due to staff shortages. People before us arrived just in time and were still able to get their orders.

This has to be the worst Burger King in the Netherlands. It's located on a parking lot that's in terrible condition. The asphalt is full of holes and damage. Upon entering, there's a depressing atmosphere. The place looks messy, the windows are dirty, and the tables are filthy. The staff is loud with each other. Ordering is possible via only two kiosks, so the wait is long. The place closes at 8:30 PM, but around 8:00 PM, the door was already locked. A family who wanted to go outside couldn't get out. First, someone from the kitchen had to come to the door with a key. After 10-15 minutes, we received our food and wanted to eat it outside. The door was, of course, locked again, so someone had to come from the kitchen again. The tables outside are rickety and past their prime. The food was decent, but not very warm. When we were done, we wanted to return our five €5 deposit cups, but the door was locked again. After knocking on the window for a while, someone came over, gesturing irritatedly that the place was closed. After much insistence, he gestured for us to walk through La Place. When we tried, it was already closed, and the La Place staff, who had just come out, told us we could only enter that way if we went through the office. It was all very strange. So back to the door, knocking again. After some yelling from the staff, the door was reluctantly opened. One of us went inside and had to argue for about 10 minutes to be allowed to go to the cash register. However, according to the staff, it was no longer possible to return the deposit cups. We finally gave up. What a horrible place. The staff practically stares you out of the store. Avoid this place!

They were closing two hours earlier on the day we visited due to a staff shortage and only take out was available. While that was mentioned at the checkout, it wasn’t updated on Maps, which was frustrating. There was a long queue, and we had to wait quite a while—both to place our order and to be served—which is disappointing for a fast food place. Our drinks were also incorrect. Overall, not a satisfying experience.

Employees don't seem to be in a hurry and are incredibly slow

The employees are very mean to each other, and stand in plain sight at Starbucks smoking. There are a few who are actually annoyed when people come. Terms like where do these people suddenly come from and why with a few swear words in between. The food is mediocre. No, little service and energy goes to the customer and preparation.

Do NOT go here. They manage to screw up your order every time. I ordered 2 Double Whopper meals, a Double Whopper, a normal Whopper and a Long Chicken. It was a take out order. At home l found out all Whoppers were normal Whoppers and not Double Whoppers. This was not the first time that my order was screwed up here.

Sunday June 29th tried to buy two menus. After 45 minutes we left and returned the incomplete meal (cold and limp). Three attempts to make a bbq grilled burger. The first version was a pale burger with a tomato and a bun without sauce. The manager is arguing with the kitchen staff. Unbelievable, we asked for our money back and left (hungry). Outrageous Burger King….

Burger King De Meern closed earlier due to sick people. You could only order via the screen on the counter, while all the staff is running around it. I am not really familiar with that way of ordering and would have liked to just do it with the staff, but after asking several times they said that it could only be done via that screen... strange... Sitting outside was a sad affair in the parking lot. La Place was around the corner and that immediately seemed friendlier and more hospitable, but yes... by then I had already ordered with a lot of effort!

To enter the parking lot you need a big 4x4. Sometimes there is still a few who speak Dutch. A lot goes wrong in the chaos. Too bad, with a nice terrace, good parking lot and the right people it could be a top business. The location is the only reason for existence. Today again the umpteenth time that they refuse cash simply because they don't feel like it. Reported to the consumer authority because this is not allowed if it is not indicated in advance. Really sir, the management with the right staff would do a lot better, I wouldn't want to employ these people who are walking around here for free.

They are very careless with the food preparation. Meat was put on a plant-based burger, and after we returned with it they indicated that they thought that was how it should be.

The parking lot is full of holes and cracks, but once inside the disappointment only gets worse. Toilets are not clean, no toilet paper and no soap. The food itself was lukewarm, the cheese was cold and the milkshake was not cold or shaken nothing. Absolutely scandalous!

I arrived an hour before opening time to a closed tent. There were still customers inside who could not get out (door locked). The customers who were still eating outside indicated that the orders were completely wrong.

This burger king is closed more often than it is open. Then there is a renovation, a power failure, a pin failure and now another note saying we are closed due to a lack of staff. I have lived in the neighborhood for 3 years but never had the chance to eat here. I am not even going to try it anymore.

How bad is this. There are signs on the dirty windows saying "due to lack of staff we are open until 18:30". When you come in at 14:00 there is one in the kitchen and one behind the counter. Ordered via the column, took a long time before it was ready. Once I started on my whopper it was already cold. Then I wanted to start on my chicken nuggets, oops the sauce is not included! So I take 4 steps to the counter. One of them starts to take my food away. Then I was fed up! Sorry for my review, but I have been to many places in the world at a burger king, but this is really completely below par. Shame about my € 17.35 - my cold Whopper.

I feel bad for the people who work and do their best, but this is really not possible. It is old and dirty. But now even half of the restaurant was closed because there was not enough staff. Something really needs to change here! Update. If you can't even return your 1 euro cup anywhere, there is only 1 star left. It is really not fair that you have to pay all those euros and can't do anything with it

Worst Burger King ever!! 1. You pay 1 euro for a deposit cup but just get a disposable cup 2. Double whiskey burger was a single burger. Then went back and got a double whopper with a mess of onion rings that you can eat for a week (or sit on the toilet) 3. Didn't get mayo but ordered it 4. Medium fries are just small... mini bag so to speak. 5. Dirty sticky floor, rancid. Avoid this restaurant!

Please do not go to this location. It always goes wrong here. Last time I had to wait 40 minutes for a simple menu, and the customer service is downright bad. Someone dropped a coke and had to clean it up themselves - no one on staff helped. The atmosphere is chaotic and disorganized. Don't waste your time here and just drive 10 minutes to a McDonald's or another Burger King where they do know how to treat customers.

Kind of a zoo, it looks like the tv series fc kip.. if you have a lot of time you should order here, staff busy with everything except your food. Waiting time half an hour, this branch does not function at all. Fast food is not an issue here...

The staff was so bad, they messed up our order, the order before us and the order after us. Yes, we got into the BK and there was a customer complaining about a mixed order. After that our order was mixed up.

Building and surroundings seriously dilapidated, feels unsafe. Huge screens advertising the products above the counter, but the menu list is visible for far too short a time. You cannot order from employees who are simply behind the cash register, but via only one order screen (the second is defective). From entering to ordering took about 25 minutes, that's not fast food anymore. The restaurant closed at half past eight, everything was put in a bag, fries were everywhere. Next time a McDonalds.

They make you buy a €1 reusable cup, even though they have plenty of single-use ones available.

Food as good as it gets...but the ice cream seems like they made fun of themselves. They put so many hazelnuts on top that you couldn't even see the cream. I ordered 7 menus and 6 came and they still argued with us that they made them all. I do not recommend the restaurant.

The food is just okay. Tasty, well-cooked burgers with plenty of sauce and fresh ingredients. The fries are fresh and salty enough. The soft drink is cold and fresh. 5 stars for the food. However, the atmosphere is bad, the parking lot has holes in the road. The floor in the restaurant was also quite dirty. There was no music and the employees were yelling at each other. However, the service was polite to the customer, so that is good, but mutual communication also affects the atmosphere.

Good burger king. Good location to come by car. Not a lot of people. Would recommend eating outside cause inside atmosphere feels a bit gloomy.
