Burger King in Wijk 10 Vleuten-De Meern

Never again. This is not normal. Waiting 30 minutes for your food. You stick to the floor. Everything is dirty, even the tables. You can't see through the door to the toilet because it's so dirty. So we ate outside instead, that worked. Bringing cups back inside, the door is locked. Closed at 19:00 due to staff shortage. Medium portions are even smaller than a small one. This is just ridiculous.

I think we were helped by Jennie, a very nice, patient woman who helped us with the coupons. We had a delicious meal too!

I would not recommend this Burger King. They are always out of stock. It takes a long time to get your food. The food was cold because it sat ready for a long time before being packed. Never again. Don't eat here, it's a waste of your money.

Very nice atmosphere in this breakfast buffet; clean, very friendly people, and lots of vegetarian options!

No hands washed!! Bad service. Staff eating and on phone while cooking and filling orders!! DIRTY CUPS! I’m not a hard to please customer but this was juts embarrassing. First we got in there it was boiling hot, I understand that’s that is sometimes out of the staffs control so I won’t hackle on that. Second, the staff had to ask the costumers multiple times what they have ordered and if it was “take away” or eat in. Wich I find pretty unprofessional. And last but not least! A female cook in back with brown hair and decently big build. Was eating and on her PHONE (one of the most dirty things ever) while she was TOUCHING the food and EATING the fries at the same time. On TOP of THAT.. my friend reusable cup (because that was the only options ofc) WAS DIRTY. AND NOT CLEANED!! *see the photos!! ACTUALLY disgusting. Please fix this.

We received incredibly friendly service! They really do their best. Something went wrong with our order and the manager came to help us right away in a friendly manner! What an incredibly polite young man! We think his name was Zyad or something like that. The staff were very cheerful, even among themselves. Our compliments! We will definitely be back!

Okay, the (parking) lot is bad and they are understaffed so they are sometimes closed, but the lot isn't their own and staff is simply hard to find these days. But the food is fine and the people there are just friendly and helpful! What I mainly hope is that (some) CUSTOMERS behave a bit better: patience and respect, asking politely, and not immediately acting all high and mighty.

Soulless, slightly dingy restaurant

Ordered a vegan burger and git real bacon on it, it took 20 mins to get my replacement. Terrible service

The ice cream was delicious, but the service was terrible. The staff were arguing amongst themselves in a foreign language and paying absolutely no attention to the orders. I had to remind them about our small ice cream order myself after about 10 minutes, even though it really wasn't busy. We only had 2 orders in front of us and the person standing at the counter was just standing there doing absolutely nothing.

Burger King closes at 6 PM while Google says it's open until 8 PM… it wouldn't be hard to just change that, would it?

This was the worst Burger King I have ever been to!!! I am comparing to Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands and America. They spoke bad English and no dutch!!! We placed our order it went fine until my daughter and husband went to get the trays. 2 kids colas missing. We started passing out food and opening it. My daughter's loaded fries where a very sad sight. She went up 3 different times to get it corrected. 2 times they sent back with cold cheese straight from the cooler. All 4 servings of fries where cold...... the food didn't have its normal good taste was just bland and off. I opened my XXL chili cheese and the meat was old. Looked over cooked and very dry. When they finally got my daughter's loaded fries correct with them came a woman wanting to explain. We where 5 people trying to eat and she had no concern for that. I finally told her we are trying to eat. My daughter checked the receipt agian and noticed we all had disposable cups, but we paid for the plastic cups. The table next to us noticed the same. That's a get rich scheme for sure lol. 5 euros per table for nothing... probably trying to cover food costs as they are throwing more food than is being paid for. This was at the end of a long day with kids exhausted from a full day at dino land!!!! Don't eat here. Save yourself the headache!!!

This burger joint deserves 0 stars. All the food arrived cold. The cheese wasn't melted on a single bun. Had to go back 5 times. First, they forgot the drinks for the kids (2 colas), then my stuffed fries weren't even complete; they were just fries inside with cheese on top. Then they made it again, and it came with cold cheese on top. Then back again. They came with melted cheese, but still not warm, and only on the 3rd time did the manager come with my fries. He wanted to give a whole explanation, but I just wanted warm fries without an explanation. My mother's extra long chili cheese was completely burnt inside, and the bread and meat were extremely dry. And the reusable cups we paid for weren't even included; I had to speak to an employee about it, who said, "Yeah, they're out of stock, so you have to go get the money." But you would think they would mention that since you pay 1 euro per cup. It wasn't busy at all, so I don't understand why they couldn't get it right. I should also mention that at the table next to us, with 2 adults and 3 kids, everything was incomplete and not tasty either. It wasn't warm and tasted bad. I have never had such bad fast food.

Food takes an incredibly long time to eat, when you finally get it is cold and/or wrong, the staff speaks no Dutch, nor clear English. Chairs are broken. Downright bad place. As for me, I know for sure: once here and never again!!!

Bad service, the app doesn't work, coupons cannot be scanned. Hygiene is terrible. Employees speak poor Dutch. And the self-checkout tills do absolutely nothing.

Burgers and fries aren't always hot, but perfectly acceptable for a fast food chain. Service could be a bit better! A small smile can make a big difference. The atmosphere looks fine with its Burger King vibe. It could just use a bit of attention sometimes regarding table cleaning.

Closes at 7:00 PM, no more orders! Instead of 8:00 PM as indicated everywhere.... Nowhere to be seen on Google or the Burger King website... Back to the McDonald's Nieuwegein.

An adventure park disguised as Burger King Our visit to the Burger King in De Meern turned out to be much more than a simple stop for a quick bite. It started right in the parking lot, which seems to contain more potholes than all of Belgium combined. After a challenging expedition past holes of impressive depth, we finally found a parking spot where the car wouldn't immediately become a geological discovery. Next, we walked towards a building that struck us as somewhat dilapidated. Inside, we were welcomed by a climate that belongs more in a tropical greenhouse than in a fast-food restaurant. Outside it was 25 degrees; inside, they seemed to be aiming for at least 35. The sticky tables and floor ensured that you were left with a lasting impression everywhere you went. A positive point: the shared restrooms with La Place were surprisingly clean. Kudos to whoever is responsible for that. We ordered a medium menu, chicken burgers, and milkshakes. We then discovered that the 0.4-liter milkshake was apparently poured according to a creative interpretation of the metric system, as it contained approximately 0.3 liters. Moreover, the chocolate had been forgotten. Upon returning, we were politely given a new milkshake. However, the chocolate chunks in it were so large that the straw immediately decided to end its cooperation. A spoon ultimately proved to be the most suitable drinking utensil. Communication was sometimes a bit awkward because some of the staff spoke limited Dutch. Then the fries. The medium bag seemed intended primarily as a demonstration model for future generations. My children described the portion as "cute." That is not the word you hope to hear when you have paid for a medium menu. Normally, we are actually fans of Burger King, but this branch managed to put that love to the test in record time. Next time, we would rather drive a little further than stop here again. 1 star. For the clean toilet. The rest felt like a combination of a survival trip, a sauna package, and a lesson in portion illusions. Once was actually already too much.

I don't understand all the reviews. Just had a great double Whopper. The food was ready quickly, freshly made, and the burger was very tasty.

Whoever was packing orders around 6:30 on May 22nd, I saw u put regular coke in my drink while I ordered coke zero. You realized only halfway through, I figured you were gonna throw it out but you just packed a half regular half zero coke. I didn't say anything cuz it was crowded as hell. Can't be doing that though man youre gonna kill someone 💀

Dirty floors and very musty inside. Placing orders yourself on the screen works very poorly if, for example, you don't want ice in your cola. On the other hand, the staff is super friendly and extremely helpful.

We were in the mood for Burger King, so we took a detour so we could go to this BK. I had chosen the Big King, but the preparation of the bun was very disappointing. When leaving the restaurant, I mentioned this, without any intention of doing so, but the employee was kind enough to give me a completely freshly prepared Big King to take with me! It really wasn't necessary, but it was great!

I'm just happily munching away when I suddenly see a dirty hair. So gross. By the way, I have long blond hair myself and my pubic hair is thicker than the one I found in my food😪

Unfortunately, there was a long line at the two self-service ordering machines. A lot went wrong with orders: Sprite looked like Spa Red, had to be returned twice - something went wrong. Cola instead of ice tea, also returned. The deposit cup was then swapped for a disposable cup. So suddenly you miss out on 1 euro. Other visitors had to return multiple times with cold hamburgers. Ice in a cola order without ice. The location is awful and quite drafty. The hallway to the toilets (shared La Place) wasn't very clean, but the toilets themselves were fine. It is not a location I will return to. The hamburger I had myself tasted good, by the way! And it was a double instead of the single one I ordered.

Absolutely fantastic, staff are sweet but very quiet. Parking lot spacious and apocalyptic, found nice flip-flops.

Had to wait 1.5 hours for food. Since the last manager left, there has been insufficient staff, and when calling numbers for 38, 83 was announced. Many people received the wrong food. No milkshakes or ice cream either.

Uninterested staff, tasteless food, and a depressing place. There is no greeting or saying hello. We waited a long time for the food in an almost empty restaurant; the staff were too busy chatting.

It took well over 45 minutes before we got our cold food. A lot had been forgotten, the ice cream machine was broken, and the toys were all gone.

After a weekend trip to Holland, we finished the trip here on our way home. It is clearly noticeable that the quality here is higher than at the Belgian Burger King.

Upon entering, we were immediately approached and asked if we wanted to be helped. Ordering was easy; the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They took a moment for a chat and a smile, which I really appreciated. The food was good and well-presented. The restaurant itself looks neat, not as busy and stuffy as some other BKs. Easily accessible by car and accessible for people with disabilities.

Is it a place on the moon? You enter the lunar crater landscape by approaching the parking lot of this giant burger joint. For 20 years, the access and parking deck have been poorly designed. It's messy. When will they finally address this properly? I won't be back until the parking deck is smoothed and resurfaced.

We went here for dinner after a day trip with the kids...worst choice ever! Half the menu was already out of stock. What we ordered wasn't even complete. We showed the receipt, and according to the employee, who spoke broken Dutch, it was complete. We showed the receipt again, and it was still wrong. Then I ordered Sprite but got sparkling water. My daughter ordered her burger without cheese (due to an allergy), and she got a burger with cheese. Mistakes happen; that's only human. But so many mistakes with one menu, and not even an apology. We'll definitely never go back!

I stopped by Burger King Meerndijk today and what a pleasant surprise inside! Let me be honest: the entrance isn't exactly beautiful. The door looks like you're heading into a basement storage unit from 1987, and the parking lot has more potholes than your average country road in autumn. Puddles, mud, a bit of "post-apocalyptic chic." The exterior really doesn't do the restaurant justice. But then you step inside. And the scene changes completely. Clean, fresh, and organized. No sticky tables, no stray fries under your shoe. Just neat. The service was quick and friendly, and the kitchen worked visibly efficiently: prepared quickly, but clearly not rushed. And the burgers? Enormous. Truly enormous. In terms of size and price, there's no denying that. But honestly: they were fresh, juicy, and neatly presented. No sloppy stacking, but a burger that looked like someone had put some care into it. You can taste it. Hot, well-filled, everything in balance. The contrast between the outside and inside is almost comical. You expect something different when you drive up, but once inside, you're met with quality and order. Conclusion: Don't be put off by the entrance and the bumpy parking lot. Behind that "cellar door" lies a clean, efficient establishment where you get a large, tasty burger that lives up to its size. Sometimes you just have to wade through the mud for something good.

Old junk. The parking lot looks like a dug-up field. Potholes in the road, trash in the lot... pallets and who knows what else... even during the day it feels unsafe. The service is friendly, and the interior is old but clean. The food is, well... Burger King.

We stopped by here after the Houten Expo and wanted a bite to eat. A lot of things weren't available because they said they were sold out. The self-ordering kiosk was frequently malfunctioning, and the staff wasn't friendly when I asked. I wanted to eat in the restaurant, but there were few seats and the restaurant wasn't clean. They also just gave me to-go bags, which was a bit of unnecessary waste. I told them I wanted to measure it on the spot, and they literally threw a tray in my face. "Save your ass," they said. And I think the lids for the cups were gone, because they didn't give me any. And then there's the fact that after a 20-minute wait, the food was still lukewarm. Yeah, no second visit.

This was the most awful Burger King I've ever been to. It starts with the parking lot, where the road is riddled with potholes, making it so close you'll almost wreck your car and throw the tables all over the place. Inside, it's absolutely filthy, with chairs on tables, few staff, and the fries and burgers were about as cold as our milkshake. And the bacon on my burger was raw. Never go there.

Absolutely terrible. Old, run-down building that needs to be demolished. The parking lot is extremely dark; everything is in disrepair. Starbucks and La Place are right next door. Restrooms are old, but free. Burger King only has two order machines, which is far too few, resulting in a long line. There's only one person behind the counter, which can't handle the 6 p.m. meal hour. Many items are unavailable. I thought the price was very high for what I got. My burger was delivered to the table next to me first, and when the other group looked at it, the server walked over to the table. "Oh, sir, I must have made a mistake." He then walked back to the counter with the burger, and my number was called. Not that I got a new burger. The burger was cold, poorly topped, and the fries were a tiny bag and cold. Everything was put on a soaking wet tray, so the fries were soggy right away. I returned my cup to get my €1.00 deposit back, but they only speak English and give me a strange look when I ask for a refund. It's because I was in a hurry and needed something to eat, but this was a one-time thing, but NEVER again.

Several items were unavailable, including the children's menu, chicken nuggets, and various burgers. The location was dirty and cluttered, with all the trash cans overflowing and trash on the floor. The overall appearance is outdated. I won't be returning.

Wait way too long once never again

Our experience at this Burger King was absolutely terrible. Our order arrived extremely late, even though it wasn't busy. The manager was extremely rude to both staff and customers, making us feel completely unwelcome. We ordered a hot blondie, which was supposed to be hot, but it was served ice cold with ice on top. The restrooms smelled so bad that the odor permeated the entire restaurant. There were even dead rats around the restaurant, and the roads and surrounding area were poorly maintained. The most bizarre thing: all the doors were locked while there were still customers inside. We couldn't leave through the regular exit and had to leave through another restaurant. Because the door was locked, we could barely file a complaint and had to bang on the windows. I've never experienced such an unprofessional and chaotic place. This was our last time here.

Huge holes in the parking lot where you could smash your car to pieces, and with this weather (snow and freezing), no gritting whatsoever. And by 7:30 PM, all the vegetarian options were sold out.... "We'll be back tomorrow," they said....well...thanks!

"Open" on Google Maps, closed in real life. Stupidly organized for such a large company. Apparently, the management isn't on top of things here; this restaurant is extremely poorly managed. I know it's Christmas, but come on, remove the "open" sign. Competitors have either done it right, or are open.

Was getting take-out food on the 19/12/2025, between 19:00 and 20:00, the staff were preparing the burgers using bare hands (this is against the food safety regulations); despite not many customers, the staff were very disorganised; my order was prepared late and they forgot to put one of the items I ordered.

Super friendly staff. My daughter spilled her drink, so she asked for a mop. It was immediately cleaned up by a friendly young man, and I even got a new bottle of drink. It wasn't necessary, but it was much appreciated! The food was delicious; it could have been a bit warmer, but otherwise, it was great.

We went here for dinner at 7:20 PM for two. When ordering, it quickly became clear that more than half the order was sold out; all the king shakes, most of the burgers, and the drinks were already gone. We then had to wait a long time for our order number to disappear from the plate, and we wondered if we'd still get our food. After a long wait, our order number was finally called, but the burgers were already cold, incorrectly prepared, and without sauce.

There was a pleasant employee, 5 stars for him, the rest is very sad!
