The order is not being taken at the drive-thru. There is no one at the first window either. No staff at the second window either. This Burger King doesn't want to sell anything.

Only 3 employees working for 15-20 customers . Almost 45 mins waiting the order arrive on my desk.

Practical Burger King for on the go, but lacking atmosphere Burger King at Visserijweg 4 in Purmerend is primarily a convenient stopover when you are traveling. The location is situated in a parking lot at a gas station, making it seem mainly aimed at travelers and people looking for a quick bite to eat. That is fine, but it does mean it lacks the cozy atmosphere found at some other establishments. After all, you are sitting amidst cars, parking spaces, and gas pumps, which doesn't exactly invite you to linger. The branch itself made a neat impression. Inside, it was clean, and there were plenty of seats available. Ordering was quick, and the food was prepared fast. The quality was exactly what you would expect from Burger King: a good burger, hot fries, and everything neatly presented. No surprises, but that familiarity is often a reason to choose a well-known chain like Burger King. The staff was also friendly and worked efficiently. Despite the crowds, everything ran smoothly, and we were seated quickly. Therefore, for people on the go who need a quick meal, this location is an excellent choice. What I did find strange was that you had to pay separately to use the toilet. You might expect that at a rest stop along the highway, but at a restaurant where you are already a customer, it feels a bit odd. After all, you have already paid for food and drinks, so it would be logical for a toilet visit to simply be included. It isn't even so much about the amount, but more about the principle. That came across as somewhat unfriendly and therefore stood out even more. Otherwise, the experience was just good. The food was tasty, the service was fine, and the location is very practical when you are on the road. Just don't expect a special ambiance or a cozy restaurant feel. For that, the location in a parking lot at a gas station simply detracts from the atmosphere. All in all, a fine Burger King where you can eat quickly and well, with the only real downside being the paid toilet for paying guests.

They have a new soda machine with a reusable and therefore refillable cup. So you can grab more times, and that's pretty cool. The seating has a bit of a canteen vibe.

You have to pay 1 euro for a recyclable cup. Upon return, you receive a 1 euro voucher for next time. Yeah, right, if you don't come as often as I do, that voucher is of course long gone. So much for easy money. Whereby you just have to assume that they are cleaned properly.

Delicious ice cream here! Highly recommended, much better than McDonald's or others in the area.

Great experience at Burger King Purmerend. The order was prepared quickly and the food was hot and fresh. The burgers tasted good, the fries were nice and crispy, and everything was neatly packaged. The staff was friendly and worked efficiently, even though it was busy. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. All in all, a good place for a quick meal. Definitely a location I would gladly return to!

We had ordered a few things, and once home, we realized that the only thing that went right with the order was the Monster Energy. And if you were to have the candidate read a story aloud at a job interview next time, that would be great, because onion rings and chicken nuggets are two very different things. In my opinion, this place is a disgrace to the Burger King franchise, and please do not eat here, because everything is either undercooked or cooked 2.5 hours ago.

I did not find this to be a pleasant experience. The tables were dirty and the restaurant was practically empty. My hamburger was cold, and when I received a new one, it was still only lukewarm. Additionally, I had ordered sauce, but I did not receive it. I also ordered an Oreo milkshake, but I received a cup of soft serve ice cream with Oreos on top. When I asked if this was actually a milkshake, I received no answer. The employee walked away, grabbed a vanilla milkshake, literally threw Oreos on top of it, and handed it to me. Next, I had to return the cups via a deposit machine. Because there was still drink left in the cups, I asked where I was supposed to dispose of the contents. Due to the language barrier, the employee did not understand me well and told me to just throw it away and then receive new cups. When I did that and came back, she asked where the cups had gone. After I explained that I had thrown them away as instructed, she gave me an angry look, and I eventually received five new cups to return after all. To top it all off, we also had to pay €1 per person for the toilet. For a family of four, that adds up considerably. All in all, a very disappointing experience. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

I come here often because it's on my route. Usually, the food is very lukewarm and has been sitting in a warming tray for a very long time. Also, there is no heating here in the winter, and no air conditioning in the summer either! It's decent for a quick bite, but actually, it's absolutely terrible!

This Burger King is located on the edge of a new section of the industrial area, between Purmerend and Edam, next to a Starbucks and Esso gas station. I arrived on Wednesday, April 8th, ordered two ice creams, and waited 20 minutes. The employees were in no hurry at all; there were only two employees for the entire cafe. I know I won't come here again, even for ice cream.

The restaurant was dirty, the tables and floor were sticky, the food was already cold when I picked it up, the staff at the cash register were super arrogant as if they were the owner, I asked for the manager to express my dissatisfaction, but was yelled at by the same unpleasant cashier. If you order a large shake at the drive-through, you get a half-full cup. If you say something about it, you'll then get a 3/4-full cup. Then you have to keep quiet, that's all the "server" tells you. Rude customers, I'll never order anything from them again.

I visit this branch occasionally because it is on my way to visit family. My last visit to this BK was last year. I already thought it was very quiet on Saturdays around lunchtime... which doesn't seem very favorable for the operation. But given the reviews I understand that now. Children's menu of over €5 with a very small bag of fries and only 4 chicken nuggets and 75 cents for the sauce. This is theft before your eyes. For the WiFi, BK now wants a lot of personal data so that they can stalk you with advertisements. I pass on the deposit cups because they really don't look fresh. So I take a bottle of apple or orange juice for myself and my son and refill it endlessly with cola or another soft drink to be able to do something about the total amount withdrawn.
