It was very yummy, came here at 2:40 am and it smacked. Hit the spot. Would highly recommend.

The employees try to provide good service, but it was not a good experience. Fries and burger weee not properly seasoned, the milk shake is not that good, eating inside was impossible because of the heat, eating outside was not comfortable because of dust. The decoration is nice, but my advice here is: order take out if you wanna try the food.

I had I fantastic experience eating here on Monday, the customer service by Salah was incredible, after ordering he promptly came to inform us of being out of some of the items we had ordered, instead of subbing random other items. He was very thorough in ensuring we knew what was available while he also ensured we were comfortable by helping my family and I set up an outside table, our food was prepared fast and tasted delicious. Salah was the only employee on at the time and while he managed to ensure myself and my family were sat and confortable, he also prepared us amazing food. As I have worked it kitchens before I know first hand being the only employee on at once can be difficult, even just with cooking food, but Salah went above and beyond for my family and I truly appreciate how much he cared. Fantastic service here Would come again

The most delicious vegetarian burger.

This is the second time I've ordered, and both times it went wrong.. I ordered 3 portions of fries, 2 small and 1 medium. I received all 3 portions of the same size small fries, which were also lukewarm by the way. The strawberry milkshake wasn't a milkshake; they just sent a smoothie, which isn't what I ordered either. Additionally, a thank you note was missing from a menu. I called the place and was told I could come pick up the fries and drink???? Why would I come do that when I just paid shipping costs to have this ordered? Furthermore, the employee said that it happens often that people say there are no items available, but eventually, they turn out to be there... what kind of weird remark is that? As if we made this up for one drink!!! Never again for us.

50 minutes wait to finally get an hamburger. A couple that order 15 min after us ate and left before us getting finally served. We told the staff we were waiting and they dismissed us saying that our order was longer (we were only 2 people too). After 20 more minutes we asked again the staff that blamed the broken ordering machine that never sent the order (the long one…) to the kitchen. Shame that the couple after us ordered at the very same machine (which is the only one btw). Awful service. Food ok.

The online section is open until 01:00, so when I arrived at 00:50, I expected to be able to place a small order, but that wasn't possible; the staff immediately indicated that they were already closed.

I was in Amsterdam again after years and was really looking forward to the food. The staff was friendly, but a bit distracted. While taking our order, he was on the phone. When the food arrived, there was tomato on the burger. I'm allergic to tomato, so he had to make it again. When the new burger arrived, it was the wrong one. I thought, "Oh well, I'll eat it anyway." However, it was a chimichurri burger with hot sauce. It was too spicy for me, so I told the staff he'd made the wrong one. Because he was in such a hurry, the burger was partially raw inside. So I got up and left. Next time, I'll go to Centraal.

We just arrived in Amsterdam and stumbled upon this halal restaurant; we were surprised because it was delicious!!!!

Impersonal lady behind the counter who clearly thought her Snapchat was more important than the customers. The food was good. But the atmosphere was really ruined for me.

I ordered a children's menu and, unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the quality and the discrepancy between it and the description on the website. First of all, the meat in the burger raises serious doubts; it is supposed to be chicken, but the appearance, smell, and taste point to something completely different. The meat was darker, with a strong, "heavy" smell and a bland taste, which absolutely does not resemble chicken. Additionally, there was no lettuce or tomato on the burger, even though this is clearly stated in the menu on the website. With a previous order, the lettuce was added as usual. After contacting the restaurant by phone, an employee stated that "it must certainly be chicken, because he placed it there himself," but the differences in taste and smell were not addressed. Regarding the absence of lettuce and tomato, it was said that "they are not on this menu," which contradicts the information on the website and previous experience. The overall impression is one of a lack of quality control and inconsistency in the offerings. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this.

I don't make things often and only review if it's really good or really gross. How can you mess up that milkshake like that? It was undrinkable; it tasted like milk with light white chocolate. You might as well have changed the name to Mullermilk. Besides the bad milkshake, the burger was okay, but not wow or anything. I couldn't taste any spices on that Nashville burger and the bacon was still half-cooked because they forgot to put it on. (In short, the milkshake was delicious, the burger was okay if they had left the bacon on a bit longer.)

We waited 90 minutes for our food. According to the staff, we were supposed to receive something extra as an apology, but that didn't happen. Customers who ordered after us received their food before us, and it was at most a 4/10. I can't understand the good reviews here.

Came in here on a whim on an overnight in Noord, very glad I did. Excellent food and excellent service. Super nice staff and anything with the chimichurri is amazing if you like some spice. Had a coconut shake too that slapped. Had coconut flakes in it which was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Ordered at 6:21 PM, but after waiting over two hours, still hadn't received anything. I called and texted multiple times, but Burger N Shake didn't respond. Finally, Thuisbezorgd canceled the order at 8:55 PM. Very disappointing: no food, no communication, and over 2.5 hours of wasted time.

This is absolutely unacceptable, every single time the order is never on time, and they are never honest about the actual status. When they say 10 minutes, it really means 2 hours or more. I placed my order today over 2 hours ago, and I’m still waiting, the carrier told me he never even received an order from them, while the restaurant claimed that the carrier had already picked it up, yet the app clearly shows that my order is still sitting in the restaurant. This level of dishonesty and incompetence is beyond frustrating.

They never delivered the food and never contacted me.

Today, Sloppy burgers! And complete lack of flavour. Fries were also dry and flavour less. (They were not like this few months back, they used to be much better) I ordered at home a chicken burger and a beef burger and fries (on Sunday, 5th October at 6:45 PM). Dear management, whoever was the cook at this time needs to be reminded to cook better. Very sloppy and low passion work. Hope you do better.

Food was so bad and then I had to wait another 50 minutes

My second time here, the fries were incredibly delicious, no oil, fresh potatoes, crispy and soft on the inside. The sauces, OMG (tip: try mayonnaise with less oil; believe me, it's more expensive, but that really makes it special), the burger, the problem is: you want the last bite to be your first, you don't want the burger to be finished. Once it's gone, you'll want another. Trust me, I'll be back. A gem in Amsterdam Noord.

Review from Friday, August 15th. Decided to grab a bite to eat at Burger & Shake in Amsterdam Noord. The food was hot, prepared promptly, and the wait time was only 10 minutes. We accidentally got a burger with ketchup, and when I complained, they immediately gave us a new one. We also received compensation from a lovely young man. The service is off the charts. Forgot to bring a milkshake. It took 45 minutes to get them, and instead of making a new one, they gave me one that was completely melted and had a piece of celery in it. They did give me a burger for their mistake, but I still had to pay shipping, and that burger stuck to the office. Edit: Today went better, so I added an asterisk. However, it's still not where it should be. The burger was delicious, but they made another strange mistake, see the photo (Kifesh, you're giving us a burger with two buns on the backside. These people are just rioting; they just don't care enough 🤣🤣🤣🤣).

We decided to grab a bite to eat there tonight. We were immediately directed to the ordering kiosk by a young woman who seemed to prefer not to be there. Fries and burger were delivered quickly. The fries with the skins on were quite tasty, but very little mayo for a medium portion. The burger was tasteless, but thankfully there was salt and pepper on the table. The biggest shock was the restroom, with a loose seat, a wet floor, and hand dryers that didn't work, along with a partially blocked door. I also found it quite odd that the iceberg lettuce was just on a shelf in the snack bar, just like the herbs, and on the way to the restroom, there were also kitchen utensils and food everywhere. Very odd. Shouldn't that just be refrigerated?

I have had a good experience at the other chains but this one was bad! First off the first bite was into a big chunk of cheese wrapper. Which was identified by the staff when I showed them and that was all they said. So I don't want to waste food so I go back to continue eating my burger wondering what else I would find in it. But actually it's what's I didn't find it. It came with tomatoes and onions which was in the first half but not the second half. Tasted ok but was cold and the fries where also cold actually had one fry that was hot so wondered what happened to the fries? Also the place was not busy at all. Just the worst burger I had in a long time. *****Update I got food poisoning!!!!*****

We happened to walk past here because we wanted to eat something. We asked the man what we could eat and halal. He gave us a few options. When we went to pick up the food at the counter, it smelled nice and fresh and the nice man also gave us an ice cream after dinner. Highly recommended if you are in Amsterdam North!

For the price it good food. Not pretentious and the guy making the food was an impressive hard worker. Owner should be thankful and help that man with an extra employee on work floor. He should not be doing everything alone.

Made an order through uber eats and everything was really bad. Milkshake was half melted. Burger was overcooked and dry Fries were soggy Burger sauce tasted sour.

The place has all the vibe and food quality of a third world fast food joint. The beef patty is extremely low quality, worse than supermarket bought, and the burger is drowned in a highly salty sauce to mask the lack of flavor of the rest of the ingredients. The place itself is unpleasant to be in, and the service is slow. If you're looking for a cheap bite and have absolutely no standard, maybe this is the place for you.

My favourite burger chain in Amsterdam. The Beef n Spicy and Fries n Spicy never disappoints. Service is quick and the food is consistently good with every visit. There’s vast amounts of seating space.
