Snob Burger in Grachtengordel-Zuid

I had a chance to experience breakfast in Snob Amsterdam. The food was okey. My wife ordered a plate with poached egg. However, the poached egg was not soft(hard like boiled egg). Tea was served little bit warm (not hot). For me the hygine is very important and the soap box was empty and there was no towel in the men's restroom. Service was a bit slow. Additionaly, even our time slot was not finished, we were requested to leave our table and drink our coffees in the terrace as there is a reservation for 8 people after us( There are tables which were occupied before us, they were not asked for leaving their table due to the same issue). We wanted to leave and didn't drink coffee. As a result, they were kind for not charging the teas. On the other hand, the atmospere was nice. There was a live jazz music. I like it.

Extremely overpriced!! No sugar on the table. Bread that was a day old. We had breakfast for two people, but it was only 5 spreads with a sesame ring for €40!! Rip-off!!!

Delicious and interesting food with beautiful presentation. The place truly evokes a Turkish atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the pleasant waitress, Eila, turned on the heating outside for us. Unfortunately, all the four-person tables inside are occupied by two people, so we weren't able to sit down, even though I had made a reservation. Overall, the experience was pleasant.

My friend and I went for breakfast. We didn't have a reservation, but they took us in without making us wait. The entire staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's in a corner building by the canal. We ordered sausage Benedict, bagels, and tea. Everything was delicious, and we were especially pleased with Yeliz Hanim's attentive service. This is a restaurant I highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Good, tasty and comfy space, But very spicy and not cheap

I had the Benji burger and it was amazing. My wife had the veggie burger and for a light eater, her burger never touched the plate. Forget fries, order the corn ribs as your side. The servers are very friendly, and the venue has great vibes.

Super delicious breakfast, great service. I really find the music too loud unpleasant. I've been there twice, and each time the music was too loud. One Sunday, they even had live saxophone, which would have been a nice bonus, but it's overkill for the small space where the guests are seated and it really disrupts a pleasant Sunday breakfast. I'd say soft music is sufficient; live music isn't necessary.

The place is cozy and beautiful. The view on Amsterdam from the big windows is atmospheric. The food is delicious. We had a Crispy Borek and a Truffle Burger, and really liked both of them. The staff was kind and attentive.

Partner and I just went here for breakfast while visiting Amsterdam. I was a little concerned because I don’t have a wide taste in food, especially breakfast. But Melis, our waitress, was very patient and the chef was accommodating to a couple of changes I asked for. I got the scrambled eggs on a bed of yogurt with greens, potatoes, and avocados. It was absolutely delicious. Also, I got the Turkish pretzel which is encrusted in sesame seeds that are toasted. Loved it. Really happy with my experience here. Was planning on coming back on Monday before I left to head back to the states but Monday is the only day they are closed. I recommend booking a reservation to get in.

The burger was below my expectation for the Price. The buns were pretty good, but it was griddle in the beef and the proportion of beef <-> bread was off. to be fair, i’ve picked the 200g option, so i’ve you’re here, pick the 100g. but the beef alone made it very unpleasant to eat. first time i didn’t finished a burger lol. there are way better burgers, for way less money in amsterdam. don’t waste your money here.

Inside is small but really cozy, and the big outdoor seating gives a lovely Amsterdam vibe. The Turkish breakfast plate was delicious, the pot of tea is a nice touch, and the service was super friendly.

Unfortunately, this made my experience less than positive. I hope you can use my feedback to improve our service in the future.

Unfortunately, my visit here was REALLY terrible, very traumatic. Upon arrival, we were given an unpleasant table, and although the male manager was friendly, the female manager was extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. I've never encountered such a rude woman. The orange juice turned out to be from a carton, even though we were told it was freshly squeezed. The Turkish breakfast itself was fine, and the honey was delicious. They initially forgot to bring tea, but it was brought later after we requested it. The biggest problem was the Börek. It was burnt, but the female manager claimed this was normal because she was Turkish, had tasted it, and thought it was fine, and that we were making a fuss. The new Börek were cold and undercooked; it was frozen, but she kept insisting that this was exactly what we wanted because we didn't want to eat the previous Börek because it was burnt. She showed no empathy and refused to listen to us. This led to a very heated argument, after which we had to leave the restaurant. Other reviews indicate that the restaurant often engages in arguments instead of acknowledging mistakes. We couldn't share our feelings because of the language barrier. They don't speak Dutch. The unprofessional attitude made it extremely unpleasant, and it also gave me the feeling that non-Turkish guests were treated differently. Conclusion: In my opinion, this restaurant doesn't deserve a star. Unprofessional, inhospitable, and disrespectful; I wouldn't go there!!! There are much better Turkish establishments that at least know how to treat customers.

The positive reviews must be for the breakfast/lunch. We were too late for that and ordered off the dinner menu and we got a plate with a handful of very old cold rice, some veggies and a bit of chicken. Horrible taste and a very small portion for the price. The iced coffee was just milk and even though they did remake it upon request it was still bad coffee. It’s overpriced and bad.

We stopped in here late afternoon for a quick bite to eat. It’s a great little spot and we got to sit under the trees in a lovely square. I got the chicken bowl and my friend got the burger. I was not really a fan of the chicken bowl to be honest. They have a lovely portion of chicken and avocado - seriously I don’t think I’ve ever gotten that much avocado in a bowl ever. But the flavors felt all over the place and didn’t go together and additionally it was very soupy with the salsa and guac(the guac was very bad quality and terrible). I think this bowl would be much better with tomato’s instead of salsa and just the avocado! Also the corn was chilled and not my favorite texture but overall it presented nicely. My friend got the burger which she said was incredible (I tasted it and it was)! I think with a few improvements this place could be top tier!! Our waiter was very friendly and nice so that made the experience all the sweeter :)

The freshly squeezed orange juice stood out positively, as did the quality of the cheeses and the tasty Turkish sausage. The hospitality and professionalism of the team really made the difference. Both me and my friends look back on a successful morning. That is precisely why I am taking the time to write a review. SNOB is absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a well-prepared Turkish breakfast in a pleasant setting. We will definitely be back.

It is located on a wonderful street overlooking one of the canals. Comfortable environment, very fast service. The hamburgers are really delicious. My choice was the truffle and pastrami one and it was one of the most original hamburgers I have ever eaten. I definitely recommend it. Also, the fact that the meat is only beef makes you feel more relaxed. I recommend it if you are in the museum area.

Located between Utrechtsesstraat and Rembrandt, it’s also beautifully decorated. The terrace is spacious enough with heaters. The menu has delicious dishes - my friend and I went for lunch and ordered off the Turkish breakfast menu: she got Menemen and I got Yaya Cilbir. It’s nice to have the option to order off this menu from 9AM-3PM. Just 2 remarks: I ordered an extra poached egg as I thought the cilbir only came with one egg (it says poached egg on the menu so if I could make a suggestion, it’d be better to say eggs XD). I also found the meat a bit on the salty side so be careful before adding more salt. Overall tasty and very hospitable!

Convenient location, clean everywhere, including toilets. Burgers are very greasy: juicy fatty patties - which is a plus, all other ingredients are dripping with fat, including the bun. The truffle burger had no truffle flavor. Service is good. A place that loves cats.
