The burgers are really good. And, most importantly, three of them are definitely suitable for people with celiac disease. Unfortunately, the fries aren't gluten-free, which is a bit of a shame. On top of that, we had the cutest person sitting next to us ever. Also, there's no table service.

I ordered the GRENADE burger and sweet potato fries, and the meal was absolute perfection. The burger was incredible—a massive, juicy patty, soft delicious cheese, a fantastic sauce, and perfectly fried onion rings. The sweet potato fries were exceptionally good: delightfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It's great that they prepare everything right in front of you, and the portion sizes are huge! The place has a cozy atmosphere with great background music. While the space inside isn't very large, it's really welcoming and offers both small and large tables. The only thing I missed was a good cup of coffee to round it all out, but overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I don’t usually care much for burgers. I typically see them as just a quick way to fill a void but the meal here completely blew me away! I’d come back in a heartbeat. ​My husband got the Ultimate Bacon & Cheese, and I had the Cheese Explosion. Both were outstanding! The cheese was delicious, and the truffle mayo was absolutely spot on. They are served beautifully and come with disposable gloves, which you will definitely need because a burger this good gets wonderfully messy! 😂 ​Drinks and food came out very quickly. The staff were super welcoming and clearly explained how ordering works. There’s plenty of seating further back, but we sat in the window booth and loved watching the hustle & bustle of Amsterdam while we ate. Highly recommended

I rarely eat hamburgers, but the bourbon burger here at gourmet burger was incredibly good

The burgers are the juiciest and most delicious I've ever had! I loved the background music and they even provided gloves for clean eating.

One hamburger costs 15 euros. Be prepared to pay that much. The cheeseburger 🍔 is delicious.

Absolutely spot on. Little takeaway looking place but with some seating. Fries we're incredible. Crispy, fluffy, fresh. I had ultimate bacon burger, and my friend had a bourbon burger, and we ate in complete silence which tells you everything you need to know

Everything was really good. Food was perfect, the place was clean and very well decorated. Ahmed, who also speaks Spanish, was incredibly helpful and provided friendly, attentive service throughout. Highly recommend!

The staff is very nice, but unfortunately, I paid 17 Euro for a very disappointing veggie burger (I’m pretty sure was the patty was just previously frozen) and a bottle of water.

Small burger place!!! But big on quality. Admittedly not cheap. At over €20 for a burger, fries, and a drink, it's certainly pricey, like everything in Amsterdam. But the burgers were excellent and generous. I have a big appetite, and honestly, I wouldn't have needed to order them. I left them too. Be aware there might be a bit of a wait. But everything is made fresh, and the fries are fresh and homemade!!! Thank you, I recommend Gourmet Burger

AMAZING!! The ambience was really calm and clean, I felt comfortable. The workers are one kinder than the other, not just because I'm a girl because I saw them being as much as polite with the other costumers. And the food was as good as you can expect from the pictures/website! Even for a vegetarian burger it was really good and tasty, as well as original seeing the ingredients inside. And the sweet potato fries!! I had a really great meal and got out with a smile. Thank you!

The service was very fast. The portions are quite large and very filling. The presentation is nice, and having a service light on the table is a practical detail. The fries are really good, while the burgers are fairly average but decent. Overall, a good experience.

Absolutely brilliant burger gourmet. Back to basics. Juicy and made with fresh beef patty and turkey bacon. Seasoned fries. Abi hosted us. Very kind. Must try.

Gluten free and THE BEST burger I've ever had 😍🤤 Genuinely, and I don't say this lightly, that was AMAZING! I had the "cheese explosion" burger with gf bun and chips, everything was spot on, from the beef burger patty, crunchy lettuce, yummy pickles and delightful sauces, with the bun being delicious too! I went to pick up the burger wondering how to eat it, then the lovely gentleman pointed at what I then realised was gloves 🧤 - genius! Hands don't get grubby, don't get your burger dirty - why doesn't everyone do this?! Gluten free? Get yourself here, you won't regret it! Even the chips were seasoned to perfection and golden crunchy 🥰

The best Amsterdam burgers I've ever tasted. The place is really worth it. The portions are quite large, you are quite comforted. Those who attend the place are quite friendly and care a lot about the attention and experience in the place. As a Uruguayan who comes from a country where meat is fundamental, who has traveled several places in Europe, I confirm again that this place the quality of the meat is above average.

Please don't write "vegan burger" if it isn't! You need to find out what "vegan" means: vegan doesn't mean gluten-free! I asked for my burger to be remade and they practically attacked me. Frankly, the service was also really unpleasant. The music is terribly loud; you can't hear yourself think.

I ate at this burger place today and ordered a veggie burger with fries and two dips. The fries were really tasty – crispy and well-seasoned. The burger itself was okay, but nothing special flavor-wise and rather unremarkable. I also thought the price was a bit high for its relatively small size. On the plus side, the service was friendly. Overall, the visit was okay, but the place didn't completely win me over.

The food was delicious, but Faht's excellent service and attention made it even better. We ordered a regular burger and one with gluten-free bread; he recommended several options and showed us that the truffle mayonnaise sauce was gluten-free—a very thoughtful touch. Unbeatable value for money in Amsterdam; I highly recommend it.

A real shame regarding the service. The cashier was not very friendly and charged us separately for the hamburger, the drink, and the fries. The explanation was that I didn’t explicitly ask for the combo at the beginning. When I pointed this out, the cashier replied that the mistake was mine for not requesting the combo from the start. The price difference isn’t significant, but it felt dishonest, especially considering that as a foreign customer unfamiliar with the place, ordering all three items would normally imply the combo. The decent thing would have been to apply the combo price. Anyway….

Terrible service and awful burger

Perhaps our best meal in Amsterdam. These are proper heart-stopping dirty burgers, we ate ours in an animalistic trance of beefy destruction. Great vibe inside that feels weirdly like a club, but it works very well. Absolutely what you need when in Amsterdam. Highly recommend!
