I think this was one of the best burgers I have had (i had the chicken avocado one). It seems pricey to have to order chips on the side, but the serve of chips is big, it is enough to share between two. Far better than any place in the centre of Amsterdam

Here is Jorrit the Burger Don™️ again, always looking for the best hamburger. The happy bull looked promising with a menu with quite a few options. From a classic to a pulled pork burger, and from crispy chicken to vegetarian. I like it when there is choice. There are also tasty sides and milkshakes. (Even boozy variants). We took the Turkey Bacon Burger and the Texas Burger, both with fries and 3 sauces. Burger sauce, honey mustard and BBQ. From the moment we sat down at the table, we had a good feeling that this was going to be great. And sure enough, 2 large burgers and a pistachio milkshake arrived. I'm going to be honest with you; It's been a long time since I've been blown away by a burger. The rise of the many smashed burger joints in Amsterdam often starts well, but then quickly deteriorates in quality. But the Happy Bull is not. Really so intensely delicious! The staff is also very friendly and the prices are really fair for what you get. We were also quite full afterwards. I'm just going to say it. The happy bull is my new favorite burger spot in Amsterdam. The burger Don™️ gives the maximum score! 5/5 ⭐️ Highly recommended ❤️

Had the spicy chilly burger. Was a tasty burger but not very spicy. Good service and also welcoming to children. Do book in advance though because it does fill up fast.

It starts with the ambience, you come into the store and it just has that Texas style. Then to eat the burgers not only look good but also taste exactly as they look, if not even better. Their own beer, Happy Bull Pilsner, is also highly recommended. In terms of price, you can't say anything about the burgers and drinks! The staff is great and very very friendly! I can recommend it to everyone!!

Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had, and I've been to quite some good burger joints and this one ranks all the way at the top! The beef is super juicy and full of flavor, the portions are big and fulfilling as well. The owner is a really nice guy too!

Perfect lunch spot and magical burger

Decent place, but nothing special. The burger was of good quality with nice meat, and I appreciated the fresh veggies. I tried the famous goat cheese burger, but it was terrible—definitely not my thing. The regular cheeseburger, though, was pretty good and tasted just right. The atmosphere and staff were fine—nothing to complain about, but nothing outstanding either. Just an okay experience overall.

Not bad, but nothing special. Cheap, tasteless tomatoes in the burger, the patty is fine but not well seasoned. The milkshake is flavorful but has a non-uniform consistency and a lot of pieces of ice. I don't think it's worth visiting this place again.

One of the tastiest in Amsterdam

We decided to enter the place we found while walking on the road. I ate a burger, my wife ate a chicken burger. We both enjoyed our meals. A small warm place. The homemade ice tea my wife ordered was really delicious. I tried their own beer and it was very good. If you happen to pass by, I suggest you try it.

Lovely family owned eatery. We tried their new smashburgers with ethically sourced beef and they were really filling, but what keeps me coming back are their delicious chicken tenders and spicy bull sauce! I love that they provide moist towelettes with each meal too!

I had the smoked bacon burger and let me tell you...this was THE BEST burger of my life. I love burgers. I thought nothing would be at some that I've had throughout the world, but this was it. This is as good as it gets. I weep just thinking about this burger. I can't wait for my return!

Ordered something here worth €56.22 on 05-12-2024 around 02:00. I still don't have my food. The best delivery person sends a text message when he is long gone. With "I've been standing at the door for a while." Never pressed my bell or received a call but a text message. I called immediately and had to arrange for home delivery. Now received a response from home delivery, they do not want to accommodate. And I lost my hard earned money that I wanted to spend on myself and my pregnant girlfriend. Very poor service, but be careful otherwise you will lose your money. 1 star

Great casual spot for burgers and milkshakes. Come with an appetite, the burgers are large. The burger sauce is a highlight, not just a typical ketchup/mayo sauce — you can get it with spice as well. Chicken burger was also very good. Oreo milkshake was delicious to finish the dinner off (and there are plenty of other topping options as well)!

Waited for 10 minutes before being attended. Tried to sit down multiple times at different empty tables and was told ohh sorry it’s reserved. Needs to have a better plan of action when having multiple reserved tables and still letting people come in giving false hope.

Even with the smaller amount of room there is an amazing atmosphere. The service was excellent. And the food was fantastic! Make sure to get the sweet potato fries!

We got the Turkey Bacon Burger and El Chicano. Both were very good but El Chicano was not spicy as indicated. Their sweet potato fries are very yummy.

Lately there has been a trend towards smash burgers which are very tasty but if you want a traditional thicker burger this is the place to go. The burgers were really tasty, the bun was very soft, I also tried the chili con carne and it was very good. The price is not too expensive and given that the burgers are massive you don’t really need to order a side of fries so it evens out in a way. The vibe of the place was nice and a bit different and the staff were friendly. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

Best burgers we have ever had! We were staying near by and got very lucky and found this place! We ordered the Texas nachos to share, which were too yummy! Crispy chicken burger and the pulled pork burger, both were amazing but my boyfriend said the pulled pork burger was the best burger he’s ever had! We also got homemade mango ice tea, very refreshing and tasty! Would 100% recommend coming her! Fast service and the staff were extremely friendly and chatty!

Hands down the best burger I’ve personally tried in Amsterdam. Great brioche bun, the patty absolutely juicy and cooked as needed with great seasoning. The prices are quite good as well for Amsterdam standards. Very friendly staff and quick service.

Today, after finishing moving, I was very tired and I wanted to eat a good hamburger. I found this restaurant and ate one of the most delicious burgers. At first, I thought it was too big, especially since I had also ordered fries, but it was very tasty and I ate it all. 😁

The owner was super friendly. I love it because they are kid's friendly and have some toys for my son. We came with 3 persons (2 adults) ended up ordered 4 burgers lol. We spent like 60e something incl drinks, it is cheap and really good burger :)) my husband really loves it

Locale piccolo senza neanche un appendiabiti e hamburger nella media, quando abbiamo chiesto se gli hamburger venissero serviti con le patatine ci hanno risposto di no dicendo che dovevamo ordinarle e pagarle separatamente, bene i nostri panini sono stati gli unici ad uscire dalla cucina con le patatine servite in un altro piatto (che abbiamo pagato a parte) mentre tutti gli altri clienti avevano le patatine nello stesso piatto del panino (chiaramente incluse nel prezzo). Non è per i 10 euro delle patatine la recensione ma per il gesto poco intelligente e per il contesto in generale.
