I have been coming to this place for more than 3 years. I think I haven't commented before, as you can see from some of the comments, in the past the employees here were either very unhappy or not good people (: there was a portfolio of employees who really didn't care about customer service. I didn't experience this during my visits this year, so I won't mention this part in this review, this is something they have fixed. As for the hamburger, I think it used to be better in the past, I think one of the effects of this is the degree of cooking. the last time I asked about this, they mentioned that for the medium degree of cooking, some health checks are required, I still think the hamburger is very tasty. The negative point is the bread, they are not very consistent in bread, depending on the day you go, sometimes you can encounter a dry bread or old one. So far the chance is %50 So in short you have %50 chance to eat a really good burger.

This place is simply lovely! The burgers are real units, you don’t have to be afraid of not being full. The burgers are customizable with additional toppings, but the ones on the menu are very tasty themselves too. The milkshakes are delicious too. Here you can customize with toppings as well if you feel like it. All in all, eating here was a great experience.

The Happy Bull is a must-visit! The food was absolutely delicious, and I was particularly impressed by the vegetarian burger options, all of which sounded amazing. I tried the vegan chicken burger, and it was incredibly tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back if I find myself in Amsterdam again!

Service, food (I had the nacho macho burger), vibes, service(!) was all so great! Price is very fair for how good the burger was. Drinks were good, sauces were a nice suprise (spring for the bull sauce!) --- EDIT --- Went again a year later and I still fully stand behind this review the quality is still top notch

The literal best burger I’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh and made well, and the bun was to die for haha. Also, their onion rings are made super well and with actual batter on them! Very nice service, also nice to find a bit of a calmer place in Amsterdam.

A real insider tip for burger lovers. It was super tasty and reasonably priced. The ambiance is rather mediocre, and inside, it smelled strongly of the adjacent kitchen. There's not much space outside, and you sit right on the street. If you can overlook that, you definitely won't be disappointed!

Perfect food. Perfect staff. The Roquefort burger and the California burger are must trys! Also their vanilla milkshake is the perfect combo with the fries and burger.

I think this was one of the best burgers I have had (i had the chicken avocado one). It seems pricey to have to order chips on the side, but the serve of chips is big, it is enough to share between two. Far better than any place in the centre of Amsterdam

Here is Jorrit the Burger Don™️ again, always looking for the best hamburger. The happy bull looked promising with a menu with quite a few options. From a classic to a pulled pork burger, and from crispy chicken to vegetarian. I like it when there is choice. There are also tasty sides and milkshakes. (Even boozy variants). We took the Turkey Bacon Burger and the Texas Burger, both with fries and 3 sauces. Burger sauce, honey mustard and BBQ. From the moment we sat down at the table, we had a good feeling that this was going to be great. And sure enough, 2 large burgers and a pistachio milkshake arrived. I'm going to be honest with you; It's been a long time since I've been blown away by a burger. The rise of the many smashed burger joints in Amsterdam often starts well, but then quickly deteriorates in quality. But the Happy Bull is not. Really so intensely delicious! The staff is also very friendly and the prices are really fair for what you get. We were also quite full afterwards. I'm just going to say it. The happy bull is my new favorite burger spot in Amsterdam. The burger Don™️ gives the maximum score! 5/5 ⭐️ Highly recommended ❤️

It starts with the ambience, you come into the store and it just has that Texas style. Then to eat the burgers not only look good but also taste exactly as they look, if not even better. Their own beer, Happy Bull Pilsner, is also highly recommended. In terms of price, you can't say anything about the burgers and drinks! The staff is great and very very friendly! I can recommend it to everyone!!

Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had, and I've been to quite some good burger joints and this one ranks all the way at the top! The beef is super juicy and full of flavor, the portions are big and fulfilling as well. The owner is a really nice guy too!

Perfect lunch spot and magical burger

Decent place, but nothing special. The burger was of good quality with nice meat, and I appreciated the fresh veggies. I tried the famous goat cheese burger, but it was terrible—definitely not my thing. The regular cheeseburger, though, was pretty good and tasted just right. The atmosphere and staff were fine—nothing to complain about, but nothing outstanding either. Just an okay experience overall.

Not bad, but nothing special. Cheap, tasteless tomatoes in the burger, the patty is fine but not well seasoned. The milkshake is flavorful but has a non-uniform consistency and a lot of pieces of ice. I don't think it's worth visiting this place again.

We decided to enter the place we found while walking on the road. I ate a burger, my wife ate a chicken burger. We both enjoyed our meals. A small warm place. The homemade ice tea my wife ordered was really delicious. I tried their own beer and it was very good. If you happen to pass by, I suggest you try it.

Lovely family owned eatery. We tried their new smashburgers with ethically sourced beef and they were really filling, but what keeps me coming back are their delicious chicken tenders and spicy bull sauce! I love that they provide moist towelettes with each meal too!

I had the smoked bacon burger and let me tell you...this was THE BEST burger of my life. I love burgers. I thought nothing would be at some that I've had throughout the world, but this was it. This is as good as it gets. I weep just thinking about this burger. I can't wait for my return!

Ordered something here worth €56.22 on 05-12-2024 around 02:00. I still don't have my food. The best delivery person sends a text message when he is long gone. With "I've been standing at the door for a while." Never pressed my bell or received a call but a text message. I called immediately and had to arrange for home delivery. Now received a response from home delivery, they do not want to accommodate. And I lost my hard earned money that I wanted to spend on myself and my pregnant girlfriend. Very poor service, but be careful otherwise you will lose your money. 1 star

Great casual spot for burgers and milkshakes. Come with an appetite, the burgers are large. The burger sauce is a highlight, not just a typical ketchup/mayo sauce — you can get it with spice as well. Chicken burger was also very good. Oreo milkshake was delicious to finish the dinner off (and there are plenty of other topping options as well)!
