Burger Or Pizza Cruise in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

We did this trip a few years ago and had fond memories of it. This time, now as parents of a 6-year-old, we wanted to round off our Amsterdam trip. It was simply perfect again. I'd recommend booking a day in advance, or at least 10 hours or so. We had a really friendly captain who answered every question. My child even got to take the helm. Simply a highlight for him. Amsterdam from this perspective, simply amazing. The pizza was incredibly delicious. Yes, it's pretty expensive at 90 euros for three people, but then you have to splurge on the all-you-can-drinks option. 😅 And if you go out to eat as a group of three, you'll probably end up spending about 50 euros in Amsterdam anyway. So treat yourselves to this great experience and see Amsterdam from a different angle.

You should definitely take the canal tour; you see a lot in a short time, and the audio guide explains everything. We bought our tickets five minutes in advance via Get Your Guide, which saved us a few euros.

10/10 best money we paid while in Amsterdam. Pizzas were spot on, drinks unlimited (just make sure you keep asking for drinks) captains guided tour was light hearted and not too serious. The light show (Jan 25) made an evening cruise even better. If you're thinking this is super romantic think again, this is laid back, casual, fun and relaxed. Would recommend.

We, a group of 14 women, experienced this tour as bad. At first a bit exuberant on the boat and the "captain" immediately took action. Fine, but not his way...we were told in a VERY forceful and aggressive manner that if we were not quiet we would be kicked out at any place. My question whether he could explain what exactly the problem was was angrily dismissed with "I am not your slave". Very rude. Even when mooring, this man was unable to engage in an adult conversation. My tip is to give this man even more stripes, because he likes to be on them. For us this was once and never again. Food was tasty by the way.
