Always check your receipt carefully here! They tried to push an extra burger on us and acted weird/hypocritical when you asked for your receipt (which is how I found this out). After checking the receipt, it turned out there was indeed one burger too many. Situation: Two people ordering two Cokes, two loaded fries, and two burgers together. Afterwards, what do you know... three burgers... one burger too many, costing about 10 euros. You notice it. You go to ask in a friendly way if anything was ordered incorrectly. You get half-attacked by two non-native Dutch people from Amsterdam who accuse you of not speaking Dutch and react to you as if you just cost them tens of thousands of euros! 😅😆😆😆 I smile politely and say: there are two of us and we are ordering two of everything... 2 colas, 2 fries, 2 burgers... not 3 burgers... 😅😅😅 Suddenly I have to stay calm, I am admonished in an aggressive tone, even though I am calmness personified 😅 it is said again that I don't speak Dutch... I was born and raised... never done anything else... and then you hear that... 😅😅 After a lot of unnecessary childish whining, I reluctantly gave them that 10 euros anyway... and then it was fun waiting for our food... 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂.... fries were soggy and cold.. colas were warm.. meat was undercooked.. what a bunch of losers working here shame on them.. at least they have "work" at least..

The burgers here have always been great, i have been a repeat customer many years ago, after visiting amsterdam after a few years i thought ill return to try the food. I must say the burger is still amazing and value for money. Can always recommend it!

Unbelievable greed and disrespect – Avoid this place! My wife and I sat down at an outdoor table for two today around 16:00, looking forward to a nice afternoon in Amsterdam. Shortly after, a very pushy member of staff came over and asked us to get up and leave our table. Their excuse? They wanted to bring a group of six from inside to our spot because "they were a larger group." Once paying customers are seated, kicking them out to make room for a bigger bill is completely unacceptable and breaches basic hospitality etiquette. Prioritizing money over basic respect for your guests is a huge red flag. Extremely rude and unprofessional experience. We left immediately and will never return.

Absolutely fantastic! The location is great, the food is hot and fresh and the staff is friendly and honest! We payed with a 200 euro bill and only got change back as if we payed with 100. We, the cashier and us, didnt notice it at first but as soon as the manager realised the mistake he apologised and gave us the missing 100. Very kind and great atmosphere!

They delivered our hotdogs on dirty plates, even the cutlery was dirty, and overall the place was filthy. The dish was unpresentable after a long wait, even though we were alone. I don't know if we were having a "bad day," but the filth made us leave without eating.

I would never eat there again! The employee was initially very rude when I asked about the product. The food was freshly prepared. However, it had absolutely no flavor; the meat wasn't salted at all. The sauce tasted like nothing. On top of that, it's really expensive. We paid €21 for a double smash burger with fries, and then a drink cost an additional €4??? So, €26 in total. There are much better places that offer better value for money. I'd gladly pay €25 for a good burger, but not for this one! It's absolutely not worth the money! The fries were okay.

Staff was friendly. Bun was toasted lovely. Fries were crispy and delicious. Food was prepared freshly and (I assume manager) used glove before touching any food. No issues. Only a couple of table on first level, a couple more on next level.

The burger looks good but tastes awful.. The meat is very overcooked and dry that you could choke on it! Not even seasoned, completely tasteless. Very disappointed after reading the reviews and finding out it’s almost not edible.

From when we first arrived in Amsterdam Burger Zaken caught my eye. We finally got to go on our last evening and it did not disappoint. The staff were really good and polite. The food was very nice. I just wish I'd ordered a bigger burger! There was plenty of seating but with the door open especially in winter was a little bit cold. But this didn't ruin any experience and i would 100% go back again.

Small burger joint with excellent smash burgers. The first time we went in, it was packed, but about half an hour later it was practically empty. We were asked to wait a short while and then ordered. The burgers are delicious, everything is fresh and of good quality. We didn't try the fries, but they looked very good too. Prices are relatively high, but it's worth it if you want to eat perhaps the best burger you've ever had. Highly recommended!

I don't usually leave reviews when I go somewhere, but what happened at this place was shameful, and not because of the food, which was passable, but because of the waiters. We ordered three hamburgers with the bacon add-on (since each extra is extra), and he only brought it to one of them. I politely explained that I had asked for bacon on all three, and he rudely replied that we hadn't said that and that I should look at the receipt instead of clearing up the misunderstanding by adding bacon to the other burgers and charging me accordingly. When he responded like that, I told him it was fine, but as we were leaving, they didn't even acknowledge our goodbyes. One of them was sitting on the steps with the doors open and didn't even move, and the rest were on their phones. A terrible impression.

We ordered Smash burgers... and well... nothing special, but passable. Our complaint stems from the prices. There isn't a single menu online that shows the prices on the menu they display there (which are obviously more expensive). And, on top of that, they end up charging you whatever they want, without giving you a receipt or any explanation. The service could be much better. They treat tourists badly.
