I don't usually leave reviews when I go somewhere, but what happened at this place was shameful, and not because of the food, which was passable, but because of the waiters. We ordered three hamburgers with the bacon add-on (since each extra is extra), and he only brought it to one of them. I politely explained that I had asked for bacon on all three, and he rudely replied that we hadn't said that and that I should look at the receipt instead of clearing up the misunderstanding by adding bacon to the other burgers and charging me accordingly. When he responded like that, I told him it was fine, but as we were leaving, they didn't even acknowledge our goodbyes. One of them was sitting on the steps with the doors open and didn't even move, and the rest were on their phones. A terrible impression.

We ordered Smash burgers... and well... nothing special, but passable. Our complaint stems from the prices. There isn't a single menu online that shows the prices on the menu they display there (which are obviously more expensive). And, on top of that, they end up charging you whatever they want, without giving you a receipt or any explanation. The service could be much better. They treat tourists badly.

Just arrived in Amsterdam after 7 days traveling in Germany, and oh man, I was craving a juicy smash burger. Luck would have, I walk right pass this little joint on my way to Fabel Friet of all places. ☺️I ordered a smash burger with added grilled onions & mushrooms and bacon. It was one of the tastiest burgers I have had in a while. Hands down, 100/10. Super friendly employees and the space is small, but clean. A must visit.

The burger is good, the meat is good quality, and so are the ingredients. It's a shame they say medium-rare, but they actually make it well-done, and it's a bit stringy. The price is good for being in the center of Amsterdam. The prices for the extras are fair, but the €1 extra for each sauce is not.

The smash burger with cheese was absolutely delicious – freshly prepared with quality ingredients that you can see being cooked right in front of you thanks to the open kitchen. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Great food, great service – will definitely visit again!

I was very undecided about where to go to eat a hamburger here in Amsterdam, not only because I was looking for a really good and perfect one, but also because of the issue of saving money... because let's be honest Amsterdam is not cheap at all😅 Walking in the center in the afternoon and I spotted a girl eating this huge hamburger, with an incredible appearance with lots of chips and I went in to understand the atmosphere and also the price, well.... And I was amazed, so I decided to go back for dinner and I have to say that it was the best choice of food in 2 and a half days in Amsterdam, I spent €26 with 2 hamburgers with chips and 2 sauces, I didn't drink anything during because I'm not used to it but the prices were normal 3.50 more or less. In the end I left there full and satisfied and not only for the food with very fair prices and top quality, but also for the service the guy at the cash register is super helpful, very kind and friendly always there to help you and give you what you want at best ... and in addition to that he is very good with languages, he even spoke Italian. A great!!!! I will not have any interest in returning to this city, but if I were to think about his hamburger I would definitely return, and it will remain as a very good and beautiful memory for I love to eat, but above all to eat well. 🍔👏

If you are exploring the center of Amsterdam, among canals, tourists and shop windows, and suddenly you are invaded by that authentic hunger that can only be calmed by something forceful and unpretentious... Burger Zaken is a very good option. We went for dinner after a long day of walking and museums, looking for something quick, tasty and that would leave us more than satisfied. Even though the weather was good and the terrace was packed, we managed to find a place inside, where we were treated with kindness and speed. We ordered a classic Angus burger, juicy and well served, and a hot dog with crispy onions, which I personally recommend: it has that traditional flavor that you are looking for when you want an uncomplicated hot dog, with just the right amount of salt and texture. This is not a restaurant for an elegant evening, but rather a place that perfectly fulfills its purpose: quality fast food, in the heart of the city, with prices that, although they are in line with what is expected in Amsterdam, are justified by the quantity and flavor. A good alternative for those looking for an informal, satisfying dinner without breaking the bank, especially if you've been walking around the city all day.

Very good burger restaurant, ideally located at the entrance to the red light districts, something to eat well before a night stroll. I recommend their Parmesan fries and truffle mayonnaise which were incredible!

The atmosphere was rather small, cramped and somewhat uncomfortable. We had to wait an hour for the food. The food was okay, but definitely nothing special - there are better burger places in town with more flavor and better service. Overall, unfortunately not a place I would visit again

Small but cozy and welcoming place, the kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant and it’s nice to see your meal while it gets prepared. We got the burger 100g + cheddar menu and it was the perfect size, enough to make you full but not enough to need to leave half on the table, and other than that it was DELICIOUS . Really nice location and good food for a good price, really recommended.

Bless these staff. We were so hungry and in a rush just wanting to get some warm lunch as everywhere else was closed and they let us in 5 minutes before opening. 🙏 And wow. Once we ordered? THEY DELIVERED. Huge portions! The most incredible amazing delictable burger I've ever had. All meat, little stuffing. Just the way I want a classic burger. Great for a brunch or dinner. They got hotdogs, burgers, whatever you need. So good 🍔

I bought a Smash Burger, the price was good compared to other places, but the meat didn't have much taste, the double is really satisfying, but gloves can be given, the tomato dripped all the time.

The meat was good. Dill pickles would have been better than regular ones. Would come again.

Where is the love? The passion seems to have left the building along with the quality of food. I myself don't eat beef anymore but the food here has always been great. Last night the hotdogs was the worst thing I've eaten in amsterdam for a long time. Bread was split like a sandwich, messy and stale, the sausage itself was chewy and not very good. Even the fries were like a mediocre British chippy type fry. Not worth the price they asking anymore sorry to say, the brand was good, but food has gone downhill and judging by the reviews I'm not the only one who has noticed.

Worst burger I have had. I have been coming here for over 10yeas and the Burgers are not the same. Burger was burnet to a crisp and gave me stomach issues. I would avoid this evolving chain as it not how it was back in the day. Very disappointed also also the staff are very slow and don’t seem to know much about the menu.

Very nice Black August burger, tasty meat and the blue cheese is highly recommended, it varies a lot who makes it, sometimes it is twice as good as other times, it is quite overpriced, burger with cheese, blue cheese and bacon you can easily spend €20, they do make fresh food, you also pay for the location, but it's important to pay more for good food than a little less and have rat food! I don't know the rest, it must be fine, since the burgers are really good.

The atmosphere inside is pleasant: the place is clean, the music is nice, and the servers are decent. However, the service is clearly not their strong point: you have to order directly at the bar, and the wait is long, which spoils the experience a little. As for the meal, I tried the smash burger, which was pretty good, but the bread was dry and could have benefited from more freshness. The fries, meanwhile, were passable, far from the best I've had in Amsterdam. The sauces, charged extra, don't really add value to the experience. The price-quality ratio is average: for the same price it is possible to find better options in the city. In summary, if you are in the area and you are not too demanding about the speed or quality of the support, this may do the trick. Otherwise, I think there are better places to explore elsewhere.

The hamburger patty was very dry. In terms of taste, it was neither good nor bad. Just the hamburger is 9.25 euros. Beverage and fries not included.

The smashes were delicious and the potatoes even better. The place is clean and the kids are very nice. Good place to eat at a reasonable price for Amsterdam. Add that they had reggaeton on and I love it.

If you order the loaded fries you get a good large portion...but I read in several reviews that several people were served half-baked fries, and that is only because they put way too many fries in a pan that was much too small. have to bake. Furthermore, there is almost no contact with the staff, you are asked to make a choice at your seat and only then place the order... I was shocked when I had to pay more than 50 euros for 2 burgers with fries and drinks, but there 3 (!!!) staff must be maintained... Perhaps the operator should invest something in training for staff...

Well... a priori it seemed nice, the menu was tempting... but the service wasn't that. First order sent, 1 burger out of 3 correct. 10 minutes later, the second. The last one, forgotten, served 15/20 minutes later. Forgotten drinks, we ask for them, and ask us if we paid for them in a not very pleasant tone. 15 people inside, 3 servers, including one who is vaping outside while it is on fire.. little advice, ask for the first name when taking orders, this will avoid mistakes.
