Burrito in Da Costabuurt

It is forbidden to take a photo of your borrito because then the chef will be denied entry to Mexico forever.

Been coming here for years, owner and employees are nice people and the food is always of good quality.

I am aware that restaurants in Europe that label themselves as Mexican are by no means serving Mexican food but often a Tex-Mex version that I enjoy as well. This was neither, a complete disappointment and a waste of money. The ingredients are all canned so expect plain beans and rice as well as tasteless meal. Only flavor that one can catch from a burrito is cheese and sour cream. Highly overpriced unflavored canned food. Take a pizza in the restaurant besides this. Can not believe the reviews and can not believe what a scam this was.

Very nice people, but we ordered a vegetarian burrito, and it was 90% cheese and sour cream and only 10% vegetables. It wasn't good.

Once again a lovely experience! Great place with an open kitchen and great service!

Delicious food for little money

I visited it in November with my mother, we were tourists from Costa Rica and the food was delicious, the managers were very friendly. Recommended!

We had a really delicious dinner here and would come back again and again! The service was really exceptionally friendly and warm. We ate fajitas: the meat is served directly in a hot pan and served with beans, cheese, salad and more. It was very tasty and really enough for two adults. We were very full afterwards. Clear recommendation! Come here!

Mega, mega, mega... There is no other way to describe our experience this evening. The service is top! Both gentlemen were super friendly and tried very hard. And the food was simply sensational. We had the (? 😅) quesada as a starter and then quesadilla, enchilada and the XL burrito. One tasted better than the other. 😊 A clear recommendation for a fantastic Mexican taste experience with an absolutely pleasant price-performance ratio. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Super friendly service, the food was delicious. We shared the nachos texas (cheese, guacamole and sour cream) as a starter and had the burrito with minced meat as a main course. To die for! Nice and quiet outside the center. And a nice espresso to finish with. This is highly recommended!

Burrito is een Mexicaans restaurant. Het eten is lekker en de bediening is vriendelijk en vlot. Als voorgerecht hadden we nacho's met kaas. Ik heb als hoofdgerecht genomen quesadillas met kaas roomsaus en garnalen en een burrito met kaas roomsaus met garnalen. Het toetje dat ik heb gekozen was gevulde kokos met ijs.

Looking for Mexican food, this is the place. Highly recommend asking for the red hot sauce and yellow super hot sauce, then drench the rice & chimichangas for all that yumminess! Friendly personal touch service, fun atmosphere, what more could you ask for.

Wij hebbe hier net voor 10 gisteravond eten gehaald.en meegenomen na huis. we moesten nog dik 1.5 uur na huis rijden.Maar bij thuiskomst was het nog lekker warm. En lekker dat het was. Pfuuuh dit was de lekkerste burrito met bonen en rijst ooit.. heerlijk..

Gezellig restaurant en het eten is heerlijk. Wij komen hier al ruim 20 jaar regelmatig terwijl we niet eens in Amsterdam wonen, het is de moeite waard om er heen te rijden. De eigenaar en zijn familie zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en houden met iedereen rekening, ook kleine kinderen die niet zo veel lusten. Ook als het druk is, is er voor iedereen aandacht en alles kan. Ook van bijna elk gerecht is een lekkere vegetarische variant. En de cocktails zijn heerlijk!

Very cute Mexican restaurant. We ordered burritos here. However, we received them as enchiladas. No complaints; they were quite satisfying and tasty. It’s just that we were a bit surprised. I had a piña colada here which was also nice. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. A good option to add your Amserdam list

Sehr gutes Essen. Freundliche Bedienung. Sehr flexible Essensauswahl. Günstige Getränke, sowie Essen. Ambiente gleicht von außen eher einem Imbiss, davon sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen.

Heerlijk gastvrij en aangenaam restaurant. Het eten is lekker, betaalbaar en gezond. Volgens mij wordt het restaurant gerund door een familie en dit merk je aan het eten en service. Echte aanrader.
