The entire staff was friendly, and the waiter who served us was very attentive. The food is very good. We ordered pork tacos (phenomenal), octopus (very good, well-stuffed octopus, but nothing amazing), and tuna tacos (very good quality, but again, nothing amazing). We also ordered chicken quesadillas to share, which were fantastic!!! We ordered them again!! We also ordered the grilled avocado, which was superb! Really good! For dessert, lava chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream… 🤤 (I love chocolate, so I'm biased). We paired it with Spanish Baroja Crianza wine. In short: We loved it!! And we highly recommend it!

The margarita was great but besides that very poor mexican kitchen. waiting time for the food was over than 1 hour, some dishes did not arrived so we had to leave also not so full.

Very nice restaurant, great atmosphere. For people with celiac disease, there are excellent gluten-free options. There's a QR code on the menu for allergens. I recommend this restaurant if you want to eat Mexican food in Amsterdam.

Don’t look at the timings, they close whenever they want. When ask why the timings is not followed, they said “it was quiet so we closed, you can go and eat burgers on the street”.. so rude and unprofessional.

A very cosy little Mexican restaurant. Staff were lovely and managed to squeeze us in without a reservation. Food was very tasty - although the portions are only small. I see the owner has replied to some comments saying that they are a Mexican tapas restaurant, although this isn’t made obvious on the menu, so you may be better off getting a few small plates and sharing!

From when we sat down we waited 45 mins before anybody came up to us to take an order. 74 euro for 2 cocktails 2 tacos and chicken wings serving size is tiny and not worth the price tag at all

Me and my friend found this spot on a cozy afternoon. The food and service was great, the waiters were very attentive and the music made the vibe feel groovy. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat in the city.

The atmosphere is incredible, and I found the waitress to be very attentive, even though we had a reservation and had to wait 15 minutes even though there weren't many customers. The dishes were quite interesting and good, although we ate two plates, leaving us hungry. I would highlight how well the different flavors in the dishes and drinks (spicy, savory, and sweet) are combined, but the food is in small portions.

The food is very tasteful, there are vegan options and the service is very helpful in finding more meals to get vegan. All in all the service was very kind and even though there were many guests we didn't wait long for anything. Amazing cocktails as well :)

Amazing cocktails and even better food. The wait staff was also very polite. Me and my friend went to eat here on a whim as we were looking for a place to have dinner, and both immediately fell in love with the amazing atmosphere and food. It has a very cozy and warm feel to it. I fully recommend this place, and when I return to Amsterdam I'll definitely keep this in mind.

We went in februari this year for my friend’s birthday and we ordered cheesecake, which was arguably one of the best we had ever eaten. It was freshly made and very tasty. Not too sweet, what i LOVED. We went again in august especially for their cheesecake, but it was a let down. It was cold and not sweet at all.

Came back to have dinner with friends, was impressed by the great food and cocktails, but was beyond disappointed when I was met with “we don’t have tap water” from the waitress, which is unacceptable and illegal to deny water at any place in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, or Europe. It’s really not cool to not offer something so basic and vital to customers, just so you can overcharge them with bottled water. There should be choice, and one shouldn’t deny the other. So while the food, drinks, and service were great, I need to lower my rating for this very reason, and I hope it encourages them to have a more human-friendly and legal policy.

Wow, was an amazing experience. We walked in spontaneously and had a great lunch. Tacos were fantastic especially the pork tacos- very recommended.

Good quality Mexican food very centrally located. I ordered the tuna ceviche and my friend had the calamari as appetisers, both of which were tasty. Good portion sizes considering they were starters. For the main meal we opted for three soft tacos each instead of a main dish. I had the tuna, pork and chicken, all of which were tasty, well laden tacos and nicely presented. And the Margaritas were on the strong side but very good! I’d best describe the atmosphere as a bit rustic and lively. My only negative was that when we gave them our name at the entrance, they told us upfront that they only accepted cards as payment. Since that’s the norm in the Netherlands that didn’t come as a surprise. But if that is their policy I think they should state that at the time of booking to set their diners’ expectations.

We ate there for the second time today. Even without a reservation, we were seated right away at the best dinner time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wait for food and drinks was reasonable. The food was phenomenally delicious, especially the pork tacos. We'd be happy to come back.

Had a great time at Fiona’s! We went for drinks and were really impressed with the menus. They explained how each drink was made, which made it fun to try something new. The service was excellent, and the girl at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming. Overall, it's a great spot with a cool vibe and creative drinks.

We had an amazing time with Lisa! The tacos especially the tuna one are delicious. Also if you love mezcal and smokey drinks try the smokey passion which is not too sweet and tasty 😊

The food was very good, however it was really pricy for the portion sizes. We spent €75 on lunch and both left hungry. The staff are friendly, and it was a great atmosphere. I just wish it had been cheaper!

The restaurant smelled like a cigarette pack full of marijuana roaches and bong water. I sat down anyway to eat. The restaurant was empty but I could only sit in the assigned seat. The servants had a superiority complex and were rude. I couldn't relax, I canceled the food order and left to never return.

Wonderful staff and great food. We enjoyed all the dishes. Yes, we considered some of the portions small, but we roamed around Amsterdam afterwards all day and we didn’t get hungry!!! So it was actually a really good, balanced and protein-filled lunch!!

My husband and I came here for dinner to celebrate Father’s Day on June 15th, 2025. The food was excellent—wonderfully seasoned, though I did miss a bit of spiciness. Perhaps it was toned down for a broader audience. 😁 Regardless, the meal was absolutely delicious, and our server was incredibly kind. The ambiance was amazing. We loved the music. We will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Food taste/price/performance not recommended. A lot of money for very little food. We had octopus, tacos, and a quesadilla. The octopus was good, as were the tacos. The quesadilla with pulled chicken, unfortunately, was not. The portions are very small, and there's no side dish. Not recommended.

The Mexican tartare is a must! We ate delicious food! Plus, the churros, tuna, and octopus were delicious! We're Mexican and we really enjoyed this meal! 100% recommended!

I had huge expectations for this place and was looking forward to mexican cuisine but as a vegetarian i was pretty let down. The vegetarian tacos were lacklustre, there’s a lot of options for mexican inspired veggie tacos but this seems like a second thought. The baked potato with sour cream was huge and very plain. Maybe it would’ve been fine alongside a tastier main course. The servers were attentive but the wait for food was a little long. The volume of the music also varied throughout the night, kind of distracting and it was hard to talk sometimes.

We spontaneously went to eat here. The service was excellent and very friendly! The food (raw tuna taco) was very good. Especially the quality of the tuna.

German: Unfortunately a disappointment. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, but that was the best part of the visit. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either - very small portions at completely exorbitant prices. Price-performance absolutely inadequate. The staff was unmotivated and unfriendly. Particularly bold: There was already a service fee on the bill, but an attempt was made to secretly enter a higher amount on the card payment machine than was charged. Absolutely dubious and not recommended. There's just nothing right here - neither the service, nor the food, nor the price feeling. --- English: Unfortunately disappointing. The restaurant's atmosphere is really beautiful, but that's the best thing we can say about our visit. The food wasn’t bad, but definitely not good either – tiny portions for completely overpriced rates. Value for money is absolutely unacceptable. The staff was unmotivated and unfriendly. Worst of all: although the bill already included a service charge, they tried to secretly enter a higher amount on the card terminal than stated on the bill. Absolutely unacceptable and not trustworthy. Definitely not recommended – neither for the service, nor the food, nor the prices.

Very good restaurant to taste Mexican food in Amsterdam. Highlight the service provided by the entire restaurant team and in particular by Alberto, a great guy, affable and very professional who gave us very good recommendations. A recommendable place to which we will return.

The restaurant is very aesthetic, the staff is more than friendly and the cuisine is delicious. The dishes are excellent, the meat melts in the mouth and each flavor goes perfectly well together.
