Taco bout a great night. If you’re looking for a place where the food, drinks and service are like a warm hug when you are a long way from home this place is it! Waiters were welcoming and professional. Thank you Gaia and Alessandro were outstanding.

Food was very tasty, besides the special cocktail was super good. We were hurry to take the train, and they served fast. We were very happy with this experience.

We had such a great time at Fiona! The food was delicious, and Taco Tuesday is definitely a great deal - the tacos were so tasty! 🌮 We also made a reservation between 5-6 PM and got a complimentary cocktail, which was such a lovely bonus. The cocktail was delicious too! 🍹 Great food, nice atmosphere, and excellent value. Definitely a place I’d recommend and would happily visit again!

Such a lovely meal out, there wasn’t space at a low table so we sat at the counter and watched the chefs! Food was delicious and staff were so kind to apologise for no low seating (not their fault anyway) but they gave us tequila shots on the house! So wonderful!

Went here yesterday as a party of 5 and have never been so disappointed in the service from one of the waitress . When we finished eating, our plates with chicken bones were left on the table for over 15minutes so we politely moved them on to the next table to make more room for are already full table .she immediately then decides to come over and tell us off for moving the plates . She failed in her job to be professional and again did not remove our finished plates so again we had to move our plates . At this point again she decided to come over and then clear the plates and TOLD us to leave . We are mature adults and have never ever been treated like this before . Awful awful waitress . The waiter however was good but avoid her at all costs if you can and beware !!! Our bill was over 300 euros disgusting service !

We went to the bar and tried to have breakfast. The evening staff were sensational, all helpful, very kind and polite. Breakfast staff, tragic, I don't recommend them! Of all 4 staff members who served us (in the morning), only 1 of them is prepared to serve the public, ethical and polite, prepared to meet the customer's needs. We ordered a large, hot coffee on the first day, which was very well done, on the second day they didn't have the same size coffee and it came lukewarm because that's how the machine delivers it, that's what we were told. The tortilla portion is very modest and cold. The panini was a struggle to get, but it was soft and tasty. If it weren't for that girl on the first day, we certainly wouldn't have returned the next day. Unfortunately, the restaurant is attached to the hotel where we were staying. Now, speaking of the employee Lina, extremely aggressive, poorly trained, she is not ready to serve the public. And she even bumped into my shoulder on purpose after our argument over a mistake she made and didn't admit to. I don't usually write negative reviews, but besides being rude and aggressive, she offended my godmother who was with me. We were very uncomfortable with the whole situation. Furthermore, the second morning was even worse because even the second staff member who was with her served us less professionally and unwillingly; they didn't even put the biscuit in one of the coffees, thinking it was mine! I'm giving it 3 stars because of the bar and the evening staff, and especially because Melissa saved our first breakfast. I have many reviews, it's among the top 10% most viewed in the world, and even so, I don't usually criticize with such fervor, therefore, I don't recommend it for breakfast.

Fiona is a fun spot for a casual dinner, with a lively atmosphere and a nicely designed interior. The tacos were excellent — full of flavour and definitely the highlight of the food — and the margarita was also very good. It is the kind of place where you can easily settle in for a relaxed evening of food and cocktails. Service was friendly and good throughout, which added to the overall positive experience. The restaurant can get quite lively, with music and plenty of activity around you, so it suits more of a social and energetic dinner than a quiet meal. As Fiona is part of a hotel/hostel, there is a lift running through the restaurant itself, and there can be quite a bit of traffic if you are seated towards the front. If you prefer a quieter table, I would recommend sitting closer to the bar. Overall, a fun space for a casual dinner, particularly if you are in the mood for good tacos, a margarita and a lively atmosphere.

The food was amazing and a nice and chill energy. Had almost all of the tacos and they were fantastic. The drinks were also fantastic.

Overall, it’s a nice restaurant with a good, lively atmosphere and tasty food. However, I was quite disappointed that they charged almost €7 for a litre of water that appeared to be just tap water. When I asked if I could simply have tap water, they told me they don’t serve it, whatever that means. In 2026, especially during such hot weather, I find it quite outdated to charge customers €7 for water that isn’t even bottled.

Giving a place a second chance usually pays off, but unfortunately, this restaurant disappointed us twice in the exact same way. Both times, we stood at the front for at least 15 minutes waiting to be seated. There were open tables, and servers were walking back and forth right in front of us, but not a single employee made eye contact, greeted us, or explained how long the wait would be. ​It was a genuinely weird experience to be completely ignored while staff just paced around the waiting area. A simple "we'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. We definitely won't be trying for a third time.

A lovely spot for cocktails and/or dinner! Beautiful, colorful setting with several different atmospheres. The staff is friendly and helpful. For our meal, we opted for cocktails, an appetizer, and a main course. - Cocktails: The menu is gorgeous, with beautiful illustrations and recipe explanations. - Appetizers: We chose nachos with tomato sauce and guacamole. The portion was generous (even for two people) but not bursting with flavor. - Main Courses: We each ordered one of the assortments of three tacos (pork, chicken, beef, and beans), all very good. Be aware that the pork taco comes with a spicy sauce, which we weren't aware of. Online reservations are recommended.

Came without a reservation and was seated right away, but I’d recommend making a reservation if you’re planning to visit in the evening or on the weekend. It got much busier later, and the staff was asking everyone who walked in whether they had a reservation. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Their martini was the best I’ve ever had. The side of funchi hasa was absolutely amazing and is something I highly recommend trying. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I’d definitely come back.

We stopped in here by chance but were so happy we did. The staff were incredible, very attentive and friendly. The food was next level good. I’ve eaten a lot of soft tacos in my time, all over the world, and these are some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place.

We visited Fiona's for both dinner and a snack during our weekend in Amsterdam, and the experience was truly excellent. The drinks deserve a special mention: the Frozen Mango Margarita is simply fantastic, fresh, balanced, and truly one of the best we've tasted. Definitely worth a try! For dinner, we chose nachos, two tacos, and the ribeye: everything was carefully prepared, flavorful, and of excellent quality. The dishes were generous and fully satisfying. The staff was always very friendly, pleasant, and attentive, with service fairly quick despite the busy restaurant. The setting is well-decorated, quaint, and has a lovely atmosphere. A little tip: ask for a table near the windows: when we were there, the air conditioning wasn't on, so that area was definitely cooler and more pleasant. It also offers views of the canal, making the experience even more enjoyable. We're happy to recommend this place, and we'll definitely return on our next trip to Amsterdam.

The tacos and churros are definitely a standout here! Staff were lovely and service was super quick, came for an early dinner so it was nice and relaxed in the restaurant.

The best Mexican food we’ve ever had!! We had beef, chicken and bean tacos. They were all amazing. I only had one problem, I ordered another bean taco and was given beef instead. We also had the quesadillas which were also amazing. The tortilla chips are a great snack with sour cream, guacamole and tomato salsa. I would definitely have this all again. The only thing we did not like was the cocktails. We had the frozen margaritas and they were way too strong and had no flavour because of this. I would not recommend them. The seating was really nice being able to look out on the canal.

It tastes good, but there's no hot sauce, the pico de gallo isn't spicy, and they don't know how to make classic drinks like a piña colada. It's okay, but it's not quite a Mexican restaurant. The flavors are there, but they're not quite there.

Ate tacos and quesadillas for dinner. The food was really good. We tried pulled pork, steak, chicken and baked potatoes. Everything tasted really good. We will definitely come back again if we have time before we return home. The drinks were also very good. Cozy atmosphere in a very crooked house.

I visited this Mexican restaurant recently and overall it was an okay experience, but not one I would rush to repeat. The atmosphere was lively and the place itself looked nice, with good decoration and a fun vibe. However, the music was loud during the entire dinner. It felt more like being at a bar than at a restaurant where you want to relax and enjoy your meal. As for the food, it was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The dishes were fine and the portions were reasonable, but the flavors did not really stand out compared to other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried. Everything tasted acceptable, just not especially fresh or exciting. Service was polite enough and the staff seemed friendly. In the end, it was not a bad experience, but also not amazing. If you enjoy a very energetic atmosphere you might like it more, but personally I expected better food and a more comfortable dining environment.

Passing through Amsterdam for the weekend, my partner and I chose to dine at Fiona restaurant. We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food excellent, and the young man who served us was very pleasant. Upon hearing us speak French, he wished us a "good evening." These kinds of small gestures are always appreciated. I highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

We waited 10 minutes to be seated at a table (there were more). The waiters walked up and down in front of us, but they didn't say a word to us, not even that they would be coming soon, no one even greeted us. They walked around as if we weren't even there. There shouldn't be this "to be seat-ed" sign if there's no one to deal with it and they leave the guests without information. With that much strength, we could have sat down at the empty tables ourselves and they would come and serve us... We didn't find out what the food was like there, because of course we left the place.

Pros: friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, beef and bean taco was nice, nice cocktails Cons: I found the food quite bland, the salsa and guac had little to no flavour, everything was so lightly salted. I ordered the ribeye as my main and all I could taste was oil, the potatoes were nice but the Chimichurri sauce did not help, it was literally just oil with some parsley in it. I also order the Mexican iced tea mocktail which was 1/4 drink and 3/4 ice, I’m not sure how a drink could be bland but there were no hints of tea, it just tastes like water with some simple syrup (and it was €9:.50). My friend had the same opinion about the food, it didn’t taste terrible, just really average and lacked flavour. The worst part was the stomach pain I got after, I’m not sure if it’s just my stomach but is it just a coincidence if one of the other friends was throwing up and having diarrhoea in the middle of the night? Overall: I would recommend this place for drinks, it had an amazing vibe and atmosphere, friendly staff, the restaurant was really clean, I wouldn’t go here if you’re looking for a culinary experience.

Absolutely top-notch! The food is excellent. We sat at "Open Kitchen" and it was truly amazing! They're clean, fast, and run like clockwork. We thoroughly enjoyed their dishes and tapas. I highly recommend it! See you soon, I hope!

We ate Calamari as a starter. Then Rib Eye steak as a main. The main issue was the price-performance ratio. While the food quality was decent, the prices felt too high for what was offered, especially considering the portion sizes and overall experience. In addition, the visit felt very rushed. Everything had to move quickly, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal. The seating area was also extremely cramped, with very little space between tables, making it uncomfortable and quite noisy. Overall, Fiona serves good food, but the tight seating, rushed atmosphere, and high prices significantly reduced the enjoyment. I would only recommend it if you do not mind a fast-paced and crowded dining environment.

Very average food - Cheese quesadilla was not good, Chicken taco was ok and beef taco was very good! I had churros for dessert and I did not like it. Service was very friendly

Dissapointing experience. Came here after another review said all tacos are gluten free. They could only offer seafood or the vegetable option gluten free. I opted for the vege option of beans and vegan cheese however the vegan cheese wasn't gluten free. This meant they were only going to serve tortilla and beans, super dissapointing as for the price i would hope the chef could be a little more creative for us gluten free folk! I asked what else they could add as beans and tortilla isn't really a satisfactory meal. They were able to add normal cheese. Once it came out the tortillas and beans were both cold so the cheese didnt even melt on top. Honestly, can't reccomend this place. Other meals at the table were just ok. For the price, its not worth it.

We both ate tacos. The meat options were really good and filling. The only vegetarian option (beans) was not good. It just tasted like beans on a taco with a little cheese but no further spices. The service was amazing :) Overall relatively expensive.

The tacos are good, could be better balanced but that might be just my preference. They play very loud kinda weird bouncy music. The servers were very nice and welcoming.

There were four of us eating together. I explained at the beginning that I have celiac disease and therefore have to eat strictly gluten free. The waiter was then able to check with the chef which dishes were safe for me to eat. There was a large selection and the food was delicious. I had no symptoms afterwards. A great evening with friends.

It was perfect, the vibes, the food, the music, the staff. Must try their tacos and the Mexican Tartare that's THE BEST THING. For the desserts, their spicy mango cheesecake is very interesting I would say. It was served warm btw. All in all, love it. Defo will be back.
