We ordered two à la carte dishes, and both were excellent. The bread and olive oil offered as a starter is a real plus ! It is true the portions are not big, but it was absolutely enough for us.

The restaurant is very pretty with a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious — I had dinner and ordered the fish of the day. The service was average and not particularly friendly. Overall, it’s a nice place, and I wouldn’t mind coming again.

Very mediocre and tastless hotel food without caracter made to look good on a plate but misses the taste bud experience it promises.

Last night we had dinner at Bussia, a truly pleasant experience. Excellent food, attentive and friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Extensive wine list. Everything was truly remarkable. We'll definitely be back.

For these prices you expect more than decent service and good portions right? We had none. Our waitress acted like she hated us, never a smile on her face. It took one tomato soup and pasta to arrive 40 minutes whereas a table that came after us got theirs way before us. Portions are so small. When I am ordering 24€ soup I at least expect a good portion. With 4 spoons it was finished. Very sour taste. Main course pasta comes like a starter?! When did this become normal. We live right next door and this place could have been a regular for us but never again. Avoid

The food was tasty but I was expecting more from the dishes, for what you are paying and expecting. There was nothing that blew me out of the water and no tastes where I was excited to take another bite. I must say though that the dessert was very nice and the steak was delicious.

Bussia was recommended by our concierge. I’m pretty sure I dreamed about my spegettina with lobster that night. Loved the feel of the cozy restaurant and Pamela was an efficient but relaxed server.

I had an amazing dinner here with my sister under the care of our waitress, Pamela, who was knowledgeable and very friendly. Her recommendations were perfect and we started with a delicious tomato soup that was flavourful with eggplants seasoned and cooked to perfection. The truffle spaghettini was light and well balanced, and the lobster spaghettini was rich and buttery with a delicious bisque sauce that left me craving for more. Finished with a decadent tiramisu and a sgroppino that was a great palate cleanser. Thank you for the wonderful dinner!

The service was very friendly; we didn’t have a reservation, and yet we were welcomed with great kindness. The portions are very generous. It’s just a pity that it isn’t possible to order a tasting menu and a single dish. There were two of us, and we had to either both choose the tasting menu or both order à la carte dishes.

Avoid. I've lived in Amsterdam for 10 years and I often stumble upon restaurants with poor quality/price ratios, but this is the height of rip-offs I've never seen before. I ordered the 5-course meal for 70 euros, and nothing was good... The worst risotto I've ever tasted in my life, cooked with undercooked regular rice and a runny sauce. A dessert with industrial-flavored ice cream and something resembling a hard panna cotta... The starters and appetizers were super plain, with poorly washed Alert Heijn salad. I never start unless there's a joke, and this was the case. However, nothing to say about the service and the place, which is nice.

We had a fantastic time at Bussia! Even though we arrived like 15 minutes early, we were seared right away, and served quicly, the whole night trough. We had 5 course menu and everything was delicious! Each dish better than the last one, and the first one was great to strat with! I also had the wine pairing so q glass per course and if you like wine I woukd recommand that, they were really nice wines! The staff.was frienly and polite, the athmosphere of the place.was also really nice! Highly recommeded!

Bussia is a very good restaurant that has consistently maintained a high standard over the years. For the past four years, I’ve been visiting Amsterdam several times a year for work, and every time I’m in town, I make sure to come to Bussia for dinner — sometimes with colleagues, other times with friends. Last night I came with my family, and as always, it was excellent. Another thing that sets truly good restaurants apart is staff continuity. I was glad to see the same familiar faces I remembered from previous visits. It’s a sign of the restaurant’s quality and professionalism. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Here is one of the most delicious Italian restaurants in Amsterdam for me. I had their lobster pasta, and besides looking great, it was also very delicious. The flavor of the shrimp was rich; the portion wasn’t large but just right. If there had been more, it might have been a bit overly greasy. The lobster inside was fresh—not fully cooked to a crisp, but rather tender and slightly soft. The lobster blended even better with the sauce. The pasta itself was also well done, neither too soft nor too firm. The cheese risotto was also nice, it was an authentic risotto. The chef made the risotto al dente, which is really amazing. The cheese aroma is great, it was not heavy even finished it all. Unfortunately, I was quite full that day and didn’t order dessert. I will definitely try it next time. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing restaurant in Amsterdam. We ordered the lamb ravioli and the vale and it was absolutely incredible in taste and quality. The portions are a bit small but definitely worth the price. I am lactose intolerant and the waitress was so helpful, looked after me, they were so accommodating putting what I couldn't eat aside and giving me all the possibilities and recommendations! We tried the dessert that I could have (a lemon sorbet with fruit and almond) and it was incredible! Couldn't say a bad thing about this place honestly.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday here. I had an incredible time! The building itself and the interior make you feel like you're really in Amsterdam. The lobster pasta is simply divine—one of the most delicious dishes I've tasted in Amsterdam! The service was very nice, unobtrusive, yet attentive. We had a great time.

I'm a tourist from Japan. I'm used to Japanese restaurants, so I felt a little disappointed because there are many more delicious and affordable places. The food was pretty good, but the a la carte menu wasn't extensive. I wanted to eat pasta, but I was given two choices: pumpkin gnocchi or lobster.

My expectations were high. But unfortunately, there were flavours that were not very related to fine dining. Far from Italian freshness, heavy and fatty flavours dominated. Only the wine selections were good.

We were there for lunch a couple days ago and so glad we got a chance to eat there. Their pasta dish with lobster was insanely good. Our server was a lovely girl, and the ambiance is great. Highly recommend this wonderful spot in Amsterdam.

I celebrated my birthday here with my family, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was absolutely perfect — from the warm and professional service to the incredible food. We ordered the tasting menu, and every single dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The absolute highlight for me was the lobster pasta — so delicious that we actually came back the very next day just to have it again! It was such a memorable evening, and I’m truly grateful to the team for making my birthday feel so special. Highly, highly recommended!

The pasta dishes had too much oil and tasted greasy. The bread was excellent. The service was average because we had to keep flagging them for service to order more wine, etc.

Was on vacation in Amsterdam recently and decided to try this place for lunch, as I was on my way to the Anne Frank House Museum...and WOW! Had a sandwich that was soooooo tasty...bread is freshly made there and so are their pastries...I would highly recommend this place...and the owners are very friendly too :)

We visited to celebrate our 30th anniversary as a couple. Although the staff was unaware of the special occasion, they treated us like royalty from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely magnificent—truly sensational. The photos don't do it justice!

An absolute must for a visit to Amsterdam. The lobster spaghettini is cooked to perfection and should be a requirement when you visit! Creative dishes all complimenting each other in a well thought, flavor forward approach. Service is fantastic as well. Elevated experience without being pretentious.

I just asked the hotel receptionist if he could recommend one or two delicious restaurants. He sent me a dazzling list of places worth visiting in Amsterdam. I also asked him if there were any delicious Italian restaurants in the nearby hotel. He just said the name Bussia without even thinking. He said that the lobster noodles are a must-try. I believe this kind of "intuitive recommendation" the most. The gentleman in charge asked if I would like to drink something before ordering, such as sparkling wine or red and white wine. I said do you have a Negroni? His eyes lit up, our Negroni ranked among the top three in Amsterdam, he said with humor and confidence. Short conversations during travel are often the most impressive. P.S. #After the flight (after the scale), my appetite is really great #This cup of Negroni and this plate of lobster noodles pass the test #Artichoke soup for the first time in my life

Great spot that doesn't look like much from the street but what a treat it was. Fantastic staff and attitude...with food to match. My wife and I shared an app and a main course and they were so kind to split it up between plates instead of simply plopping it down on middle of the table. Food was fantastic...we had a lobster spaghetti with Lobster bisque sauce. Incredible.

Had a late Sunday dinner at Bussia and was lucky to still get served at 21:00, despite Google showing incorrect opening times. While I was limited to just one course, I still managed to sample dishes from the à la carte menu—the gnocchi, risotto, and sliced tenderloin were all very good, well-executed, and full of flavor. The wine list is simple, but the selection by the glass felt a little lacking in depth. Service was a bit underwhelming, which took away from the overall experience. That said, the food was excellent, and I’d return—just maybe at an earlier hour for a more relaxed experience.

The food was simple but good enough, however not worth the price. As an Italian-French person, I can say that desserts are not their strong suit at all. I’d recommend focusing on the main dishes rather than the desserts. I would recommend to highly improve on the dessert or to not propose them.

We have got a nice table to the windows, the ladies were very friendly and professional, but the food was quite disappointing. The seasonal vegetables was just a salad, the burrata wasn't served as a whole but smashed in small and very few pieces and this is outrageous (in facts the 'burro' wasn't there). Stracchino was't good.

Had lunch here for the 2nd time, 3 course menu. This time to celebrate something special. My daughter had ensured that we were the first to receive a delicious Bellini from Spain, festive and highly recommended! This was a nice start. Just like the first time, we opted for the 3-course lunch. I understood that the portions are slightly smaller than a la carte and that was more than fine. I started with a lentil soup with wild mushrooms and then a ravioli with fennel sausage. Everything tastes so incredibly pure and refined, this makes me really happy! After the Bellini, we went for a delicious bubble. Dessert was tiramisu with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend Bussia to anyone who enjoys a nice meal out, and Italian of course!❤️🍽️🇮🇹
