Great place, delicious food and drinks

whether inside or outside, this place is perfect. Great, friendly staff. Friendly crowd. And the food doesn’t need to be as good as it does!! Perfect for working on a cold, rainy afternoon, a date, or meeting with friends at the large tables on the terrace. Can’t go wrong! Always a good day for Binnen Buiten.

Awful very slow service and very rude unfriendly staff. They never came to take our order and when we came inside to order they told us to go outside and sit and were very rude. Food came out before drinks and when we asked where our drinks were they were again so rude. Drinks took 40 mins to come and they were just a coke and a beer. Such a shame as a beautiful spot by canals. Will not be returning!

Nice pub with menu for food. We had a few drinks and bitterballen! Lots of outdoor seating and views along the canal. Lovely!

We were with a group of friends on a Friday night having some drinks. One waitress with short black hair was completely disrespectful to us, denying us drinks claiming my friends were not in a table when they picked on purpose for that. Worst service we’ve received in the city so far

Really bad service from a waitress (black short hair), couldnt handle the stress. We could not even take beers from the bar and take then to the terrace because it was too much work according to her , which doesnt make sense at all. Very arrogant

The bar is nice, but the service was horrible due to a very un respectful waitress: black short hair. Her main point was she is too busy/ stressed to serve any additional customer if they didn’t have a table. So, we complied to the rules sat at the table, ordered and paid drinks and only then moved closer to our friends who were standing leaving the table to additional new customers. She came to us in a very arrogant way raising her voice without allowing us to respond, saying we needed to stay at the table and for this reason she told us no more drinks were going ti be given to us. A couple of minutes later, other friends without a table ordered drinks with no table. Her and the colleagues were not aligned on what could and couldn’t be done. Because of her im just gonna say that the place lost 10+ customers who used to come here often. Horrible horrible service by this waitress.

Every time I go to Amsterdam, I go to this cafe! All the staff are friendly, and some even speak Portuguese and Italian. I feel right at home. Everything I ate was delicious; the vegetarian and vegan options were perfect. And I can't forget the Lelebel beer and the delicious fries with truffle mayonnaise. The best of Amsterdam!

A friendly, slightly shabby, warm atmosphere bar that probably has regulars. While it is very crowded outside, inside is more suitable. We did not try the main course. We ordered French fries, Dutch cheese and bitterballen as snacks, served with pickled cucumber. Bitterballen and cheese were standard, potatoes were crispy and delicious. They were happy to help with beer selection, we had a nice evening.

Very cute Dutch eetcafé. Went there for a casual dinner and got the burger and OMG! Might be the best burger in the city, also compared to more fancy places. Large selection of beers and friendly staff! Also not super busy that you can breathe!

A cute cafe/bar right infront of one of the canals of Amsterdams with a great view. It is located in the centre of the city and the vibes here are really good. The service is great and so is the ambience and drinks/food.

Qué lugar tan encantador para parar y tomar un aperitivo. Justo en el canal un gran lugar para ver el mundo pasar, pero no pagar por los precios del "centro de Amsterdam". La comida era preciosa y 6 de nosotros comimos y bebimos cargas por 126 €. Mi sugerencia es conseguir una selección de bocadillos y compartirlos. Fue encantador.

This place made me want to come back to amsterdam! Friendly staff! Easy to communicate with English. Had a screen setup atleast for the euro2024 football games. Great beer also. I want to visit this place again!

We just had a drink here and the coffee and beer were okay! One thing to complain about is the service, which isn't really friendly. Even though the café was hardly visited, you don't even get the card and have to get it yourself... well, good service is something else...

A quiet terrace outside the tourist hustle and bustle where you can drink local craft beer on tap and also by bottle. The snacks such as chips or cheese fingers are delicious and reasonably priced, especially for the area in which it is located.

Enjoyed their unique beef stew. Different from American, but quite good. Also, outside seating by canal is very nice.

Very nice corner cafe with friendly and helpful staff. When the weather is dry and sunny, it gets very crowded around lunchtime. Price/performance ratio is okay. Highly recommended and good for relaxing after a walk through the market.

We ordered two drinks per person (there were 4 of us). We ended up with €14 more on the bill than the advertised price. After asking the waiter for explanations: we had an old menu with wrong prices. In short, we left like this without even a gesture, like a drink, in compensation. Also lack of choice regarding cocktails.... No mojito, no spritz which are the BASIC!

My favorite place to drink a cold beer in the evening in De Pijpe. It's very cozy and has a pleasant atmosphere. There is a large selection of beers. The house beer is Heineken and is also offered as Extra Cold in the summer. Food is also offered, which I haven't tried yet. If you get bored, there are also board or card games. Always a nice evening, whether inside or outside :)

I had the hummus sandwich, fries, bitterballen and the croque madame and they were delicious! I went with my husband and a friend because it's a sunny place with a nice view of the canal. The staff was super nice too!

We found this place on the way to our dinner and we had a few beers. Everything correct and very good service. Recommended for a drink. It is very close to the Amsterdam canal.

Pretty bar near the canal. They close the outside at 8pm. Been there on Friday night and was very crowded after some time. Not sure but reservation can be made.

Pleasant Amsterdamer experience. Cozy during the winter and cool during a summer day. Location is nice and with easy access. Price is fair for the quality you get and given it’s Amsterdam. I recommend.

Went there, waited for more than 20 minutes each orders + food never came (and the waiter just went like "that didn't go well, sorry" without an alternative than canceling). Won't go again seriously.

We stopped by for drinks on a Monday evening after visiting the museums. The place is very inviting and cosy, and their beer selection is excellent. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and social as more people arrived over time. We didn't stay for food as we had prior arrangements elsewhere, but the menu was appealing and included vegetarian options.

Went here for a drink as our h0tel bar was closed one evening. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the following evening. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere excellent as it was obviously a popular place

We visited twice during our trip. The first visit we had local beers. The view and the staff were both excellent. The second time we sat on the roadside and had wine,again the service was perfect.

Ambiance agréable, similaire à un pub populaire, on a l'impression de faire partie d'un tout. Les bières proposées sont bonnes et ont un prix raisonnable, mais les Bitter Ballen et sticks de fromage frit manquent de goût. Mais les bières sont bonnes, donc ça va.

This place was perfection! The vibes, food and service were great, I arrived with 3 other persons on Friday evening a little after 6pm. As we got there, we got seats inside as it was quite busy outside but still had seating inside. Instantly, seated and got menus, we ordered the Thai avocado salad, chef’s burger, sticky hoisin ribs and chicken satay. Drinks were fresh orange juice and beer. The burger was excellent! The beef, the sauce and toppings were in the right amount. The ribs were very tasty and had good flavour. Chicken satay was really tasty and the salad was very good. The sauce was a good touch to it. We also shared a Dutch apple pie, this was okay as it was served cold but still very tasty. Service was really nice and probably one of the best services and food I’ve received here in Amsterdam. 10/10

Super nice spot for having drinks and food, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Normaalgesproken een erg fijne plek voor een drankje. Gister, na 20 mins, nog steeds niet geholpen. Het was ook bloedheet onder de luifel en tussen de windschermen. De luifel zorgt voor veel hitte. Het is beter om met deze hitte parasols te plaatsen en de windschermen weg te halen, zodat er nog wat wind is. Veel mensen verplaatsten (zoals ik) of vertrokken vanwege de langdurende service en hitte.

La comida no es buena, ordenamos una hamburguesa con papas fritas, no valen lo que cuesta, pan mucho más grande que la hamburguesa, una rodaja de tomate y una pequeña hoja de lechuga. Las papas pasadas. El servicio no tan bueno. El ambiente muy lindo.

Lloc autèntic en un barri preciós. No s'ha deixat perdre pel turisme i manté essència de lloc tradicional i cohabita amb el nou ambient del barri. Menjar molt bo i típic holandès.
