Café "Blue Grape" in Haarlemmerbuurt

Overpriced place, imho. Absolutely overestimated and very specific (for very specific audience). No food. Expensive beer. However, very crowded for unknown reason.

Can get crowded but always good bartenders.

Very good service and very nice bartenders. I’m from the USA, and I’m not a huge beer drinker, but the bartender was determined to find me something that I liked. He introduced me to Dutch Tea, and I’m still drinking it over here in the states. I would definitely recommend this place! If I’m ever back in Amsterdam I will definitely stop by. Cannot recommend enough

Nice sitting outside with an old friend

A must visit when in Amsterdam. Very friendly service with a great selection of local beer, with knowledge of them all by the person serving, inside it is really rustic and traditional. Outside they also have some seats which are a real sun trap. A beautiful place to sip a beer and watch the world go by. I will always pay a visit when I return to Amsterdam.

The Music in here is Awesome. Sport on the TV Barmen were Swift of Service,friendlyand kept on top of Everything. Perfect vibe in here. Excellent highly reccomend Only teeny blip was you need to let the Guinness settle but it was still Mighty Well Done.

This is an establishment run by thugs, I had a genuine fear for personal safety and recommend that everyone stay far away from the block this café is located on. On King’s Day, there are free public toilets all throughout the city. Thinking this facility was no different, my friend used the toilet and we went on our way. Immediately after, a woman chases after us, grabbing us by the wrist and preventing us from leaving. We genuinely thought this was a scam, so we brushed it off and kept walking. Then, I feel a hard crushing grip against my neck; a man had ran up and grabbed me. Next, he twisted my thumb violently, and two other men promptly surrounded me. They then forced me to march back. Note that I hadn’t even used the toilets, and I’m being assaulted on the street a block away from the café in a public space. Had they calmly explained in the first place before resorting to violence, this whole situation could have been avoided. Also note, that this whole violent outburst was over 1 euro. Did the café really have to resort to violence to protect their bottom line?

We have been coming here for 27 years. The standard always remains the same 👍👍👍🥂🍷🍻. NICE MAN!

I recently visited De Blauwe Druif, a bar located between the central station and Haarlemerplein and found a relaxed and authentic atmosphere that reigns there like in most Dutch pubs. The decor is a mix of traditional and cozy with somewhat stunning decorations, perfect for an evening with friends. The service was friendly, and the prices very reasonable for the city center. However, the place can sometimes be a little crowded, especially on weekends, which can slow down service. Despite this, it is a great choice for those looking for a friendly bar to have a drink in Amsterdam.

Did charge us twice for the same and then did told that we are lying. Avoid this place

They have very bad service! Be careful they don’t follow your orders , one shift ends one starts without following orders and they will make you pay double , you will ask your money back they will give 50% of your money and claim it was not their mistake and laugh at you and threaten you to call the police and start speaking Dutch to confirm the steal. Well wat een verassing! I know a lot about Dutch culture but these guys are the ones giving the very bad vibes !

The worst experience. We paid twice and then they refused to give the money back, just for giving us part of it when we complained. Avoid

Dont go to this place! They charged us twice, tried to scam us. Instead of returning the overcharge, they charged again and then said lets meet in the middle and did not return the whole amount. After, they threatened to call the police! Avoid this place at any cost!

Great pub. One of the best Guinness pulls in Amsterdam. Also a great IPA. The bummer is that they've closed their kitchen and no longer serve food.

This is my favorite neighborhood bar in Amsterdam. They don't serve food. (See my review of Harlem bar on same block for food). The staff is phenomenal. Brian and his dog Peach could not be friendlier and the same could be said for the other bartenders if they had dogs as cool as Brian's. I will come to this bar every time I am in Amsterdam.

A good place for a drink 🍸. You can sit inside for a bar mood and outside for an relaxing atmosphere. The service is friendly but not very attentive. The pricing is normal for the city.

Die Kneipe ist super , wir sind zufällig darauf gestoßen da wir weg von den Touristen wollten. Der Barkeeper ist total cool und mega lässig drauf , die Stimmung und die Musik sind gut und abends gibts tolle Snacks , eben ein typischen Eetcafé , wir sind jeden Tag unseres Urlaubs hergekommen und würden es jedem empfehlen.

Great 300 year old brown bar that serves Guinness. Tasty snacks, didn't try anything else food wise... Service was friendly and informative. Dogs were welcome which is always wonderful. Couple tables outside but the weather didn't say oke. Great details abound if you keep your eyes open.... Took a pic of a random tile I found.

mooie stek. vlotte bediening. jammer dat planten bakken voor het raam dus blikvanger zo uit gedroogd waren. zo word het meer een uitgedroogde druif. Dit ook op een leuke manier tegen de bediening/eigenaar gezegd. reageerde beetje lacherig. jammer want de blauwe druif verdiend meer. kleine moeite. grote promotie.

Ein eine echt coole Bar. Liegt direkt an einer Hauptfahrradstraße so daß es nie langweilig wird wenn man draußen sein Bier genießt.
