Superb apple tart, very tasty bitterballen. Lovely atmosphere in an impressive building.

We had a very enjoyable evening meal - good standard of cooking and excellent service. The brasserie was busy with pre-theatre diners but food was delivered at a good pace. Nice ambiance.

Drinks and food are the same everywhere what makes the difference is the atmosphere 😏

A great place to dine before a meeting, performance, or something similar. Don't expect haute cuisine, though. The food is simply excellent. Service is fast. And don't forget to take a tour of this magnificent building.

A good restaurant with good options for vegan. The staff was super friendly and helpful, she checked on us very often even though the restaurant was crowded.

Sat outside for lunch. Had a wonderful octopus salad. Service was sweet and friendly. It was a bit untidy outside and its a bit noisy from the trams etc. Super dog friendly. Water for my pooch etc 👍

Had a hamburger with good fries and salad outside on the terrace, which was quite expensive, but worth it. To our surprise, the wait staff also spoke plain Dutch! Smokers on a terrace are and remain an irritating downside, especially while eating. Rude aso behavior.

Sitting on the terrace, being served quickly by a Dutch-speaking waitress, and the Leidseplein with the Monument to Peter R. de Vries as a backdrop. In short, a nice terrace in a special location. Top!

Nice spacious location, unfortunately a small dinner menu, for the carnivore. With a bit of luck you will have a good table with a view of the renovated Leidsche square. Flavors are good, but not exceptional. Service was friendly and Dutch speaking.

Nicely quiet inside. Pleasant atmosphere and acoustics. Beautiful classic building that has been modern and colorfully updated. The food was delicious. The price is a bit higher, but so is the quality. The service was busy and made a few mistakes at the tables around me, but they were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The average age of the guests is around 65+ and I thought it was really admirable how customer-friendly the ladies and gentlemen at the service dealt with the somewhat compelling boomer clientele (no madam/sir, you are not alone in the world. There are also other guests who also want to be served…). Cheers.

I didn't eat there, but had a drink with my group on the terrace. The service was very friendly and fast. That immediately makes the atmosphere very good.

This was a nice atmosphere in Leidseplein. The food was good, but nothing amazing. Service was slow and while they were friendly enough, it felt a bit like people were annoyed to be working. The oysters were very good. Fries were also delicious.

More staff than clients yet they all try hard to do as if they haven't seen you. Rude staff, had to get menus by ourselves. Asked 3 times if could clear and clean our table, ignored. Place is dirty, staff couldn't care less.

A great place to visit as a tourist. We stopped to look about and had a delightful snack. If we had a few more days probably would have bought theater tockets.

Sehr gutes Frühstück für 15 €, alles was das Herz begehrt zumindest nach meinem Geschmack. Das Croissant war richtig frisch und lecker, der Cappuccino und der frischgepresste Orangensaft auch super. Dazu noch viel Sonne im Aussenbereich bis zur Mittagsstunde, was möchte man mehr?

Solo fui a tomar el té con un pastel. Pero pude ver otras personas con platos de almuerzo y todo tenía una pinta deliciosa! El lugar es hermoso!

Relativ gut. Jedoch war Geschirr schmutzig (Schokoladenfleck und Mundabdrücke am Rand), nach aufforderrung und freundlicher aufnahme das Glas getauscht. War auch mit Mundabdrücken befleckt. Eklig, schade. Habe den Tee nicht mehr trinken wollen.

Gezelligheid troef,leuk sfeervol ,fijn personeel

Zowel de porties van het hoofdgerecht eend met zuurkool €24 als van het voorgerecht ceviche van makreel €13 waren echt te weinig; het hoofdbestanddeel was karig van grootte als ook de kleine toefjes groenten/puree. Niet passend voor ‘n brasserie waar je niet een 5/6 gangen diner nuttigt maar genoeg aan één voor- en hoofdgerecht moet hebben. Dit gemeld aan ze en de koffie of thee van ‘t huis afgeslagen om elders wat te eten om de trek nog te stillen…

Alles prima lekker eten ook de vis! En snelle service top tent

The atmosphere and ambience here were wonderful. It was an exquisite and beautiful experience. The food was great but not amazing. The service was interesting… very nice waiters, but we had 4 different servers throughout our dinner.

Stopped for breakfast on our way out on Wednesday then went back later on in the day for a drink before we had to go to the airport. Service was fantastic. Waiter was very friendly. Dog friendly. Lovely food. Looks posh on the inside.

Een salade besteld voor lunch (maaltijd salade). Ik kreeg een kleine salade waar ik bij de bediening aan gaf dat ik het nogal weinig vond voor een maaltijd salade en de prijs. Bediening was heel vriendelijk en nam het mee terug naar de keuken. Ik kreeg precies dezelfde salade terug uit de keuken +2 halve sneetjes brood.

Prettig terras. Vriendelijke en behulpzame bediening. De linzensalade van de lunchkaart viel erg tegen. Zeer kleine portie, ter grootte van een bijgerecht. Bestond grotendeels uit groene sla en de linzen waren op één hand te tellen. Kosten 13,50. De bediening was super vriendelijk en ging er mee terug naar de keuken. We kregen na 10 minuten dezelfde salade terug maar dan met 2 sneetjes droog brood erbij.

Heerlijk eten op een fijne plek voordat je naar het theater gaat. Echt een aanrader. Al het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en leek echt plezier te hebben in het werk. De service was heel persoonlijk. Zeer goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
