Popped in.at 2100 as the Italian down the road had closed it's kitchen....2100 on a Saturday night... Great service from friendly staff, I ordered the Tex Mex burger, it was huge, and one of the best tasting burgers I've ever had. The sauce was spot on and so we're the fries. This is one of the few times where I've failed to clean the plate, the portion was that big. Definitely recommend. Price was good too, burger and a pint was 23 euro!

First, ask if they're understaffed and ask if they've forgotten to place your order with the kitchen. After an hour and a half, they just go get sushi...

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in the courtyard. The changeable weather made it quiet outside, so there was plenty of space. Friendly staff. Inside, it's a bit darker, but that's also part of its charm.

Delicious homemade Green ice tea. Club sandwich salmon was also very tasty. Hamburger tex-mex style was also very good. All in all a real recommendation

Cosy place, we sat in the garden and that really had a garden atmosphere. I had an uitsmijter which was tasty but of course nothing can go wrong with that. I only saw the other lunch dishes and they looked tasty anyway.

Awsome, friendly staff are very accommodating. Food was delicious, with good variety. The friets are amazing.

When we came in it was not busy, about 3 tables occupied. Because of this "busyness" we thought that we would be served our starter, a soup, within 10 - 15 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, vain hope lasted about 40 minutes. The same applied to the main course. Soup was tasty, but we ordered the classic burger without onions, but we got them anyway. The burger was also half cooked and not well done as ordered. All in all a disappointment.

Kids-friendly restaurant with small playing area (mini kitchen ) and coloring books and similar. I really liked the atmosphere. Staff is young but nice and polite.

Food was ok, but it took fifteen minutes before we could place an order, then another 35 minutes until we got our simple lunch order. If you want to sit for a long time, fine, but with a child it is not feasible to eat here. Staff was very indifferent about the long wait.

Yesterday we ate again at Weesperplein. What a great evening we had. Beautiful location, sweet and attentive staff, but above all, very tasty food. I eat in restaurants every week, but I haven't eaten something like this in a long time. And that at a competitive price. Delicious starter with Frisian sugar bread, a main course with veal medallions and prawns and a tasting dessert. Every dish was well seasoned and made with love. The sugar loaf is still in my taste memory. It's been a long time since I ate here but I will definitely be back soon. Thanks for a nice evening.

Hamburger raw and cold inside, that's what the waitress said. It was reheated, including the sauce that was not tasty. Couldn't make an excuse. Club sandwich cold, it was fresh in the restaurant. Come here more often, never again. Cold and raw hamburger slice bacon and sauce for a lot of money. Too bad. An apology would have been appropriate.

Nice place for a high tea. Very warm and a bit stuffy inside with so many people and little ventilation (it was on a Saturday afternoon). High tea was tasty, but little savory, lots of sweet. I would have liked something like a sandwich. Teapots were small and quickly emptied. Service was okay.

Stopped off for a coffee here. The guy serving was helpful and friendly, and the food menu looked good - albeit we didn't eat. Drinks good though. Nice environment inside with the trees and cobbled floors.

Burger was good but we waited around 50 minutes for our orders 😕

Met familie heerlijk geluncht. Verschillende gerechten besteld. Logisch dat wij daar langer op moesten wachten. Dat wachten werd beloond want de opgediende gerechten waren van hoge kwaliteit. Wel jammer dat een besteld kopje koffie over het hoofd was gezien. Dat kwam pas toen wij weg wilde gaan. Maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken.

We recently had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant during the Sluis en Bruggenfeest. We arrived well in time to avoid the crowds, with our two small children, hoping to get something to eat quickly. However, an hour later we still had not received our food, while people around us – who had arrived later than us – were already eating. After inquiring several times, we were always told that the food was "coming". After an hour I decided to go to the kitchen to inquire myself. There the cook admitted that he had made a mistake: he thought that our food would come after the soup, while the tomato soup was actually a children's dish and we had clearly indicated that everything could come at the same time. Remarkably, we hadn't even seen any soup that hour. Finally, after a long wait, we finally got our food. When I wanted to inform management about our disappointment, we received a particularly inappropriate response from the kitchen staff. They blamed us because we "came to eat with two children on the busiest day". This was extremely frustrating, especially as no form of compensation was offered, such as a drink or discount. Not that that would have solved the situation, but at least it could have been a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, none of that. When our food finally arrived, the chicken turned out to be dry and tough. It was noticeable that most of the people around us were eating hamburgers, which in retrospect probably would have been a better choice. Unfortunately we couldn't see that upon arrival as we were one of the first, but ended up being the last to receive our food.

Very unusual place with trees inside, makes it a very inviting atmosphere. Lovely garden at the back. The nachos were very well prepared and tasty. Good coffee as well. Friendly staff. A good place for a drink, or snack, or lunch.

Als één van de favorieten in Weesp viel de keuze om snel een hapje te eten tijdens het dorpsfeest in dit restaurant. Met twee kleine kindjes was de keuze snel voor alleen hoofdgerecht gemaakt, twee sate van varkensvlees en tomatensoep voor onze dreumer. Wij kwamen het restaurant rond 17.15 binnen en waren tweede tafel in de binnentuin. Op een gegeven moment duurde het eten langer dan normaal en na meerdere malen bij de ober aangegeven te hebben ging mijn man zelf bij de keuken checken. Inmiddels waren er nog 8 tafeltjes buiten bijgekomen en iedereen behalve ons was al aan het eten. Dreumer werd onrustig en ging alleen broodje eten wat we vooraf besteld hebben. Keuken had aangegeven om een fout gemaakt te hebben maar alsnog was er geen tussentijdse oplossing aangeboden en we moesten wachten. Rond 18.15 kwam het eten. Kind wou niks meer, baby werd onrustig en begon te huilen, twee happen snel naar binnen gewerkt en besloten om weg te gaan. Een van de chefs had geen begrip voor de situatie nadat ik mijn frustratie tijdens het afrekenen heb geuit en zei zo iets dat het een slechte beslissing was om met twee kleine kinderen tijdens de drukste dag van Weesp te gaan uiteten terwijl wij ruim op tijd en nog voor de avonddrukte kwamen. Deze opmerking vind ik kwetsend en onbegrijpelijk. Uiteraard kunnen fouten gemaakt worden maar doe dan wat aan voordat het geëscaleerd wordt. Voor mij is dit restaurant nu een ‘no-go’ is omdat het geen kindvriendelijk beleid heeft. Blijkbaar wordt er geen rekening met kleine gasten gehouden. Speelhoek was overigens vis, rommelig em met kruipende zilvervisjes tussen de kleurboeken. Echt heel erg jammer dit.

Finally opened again. Cozy restaurant with a spacious terrace at the rear. Menu is simple but good with some nice specialties. Good service. Recommended.

First of all, the food was very tasty, so compliments to the chefs! We were the only ones inside, and we heard the staff constantly gossiping loudly with each other about other guests and other things as they walked by. It became a bit disturbing after the tenth time, so during payment I said that the gossip and complaining could be better left until after working hours, or at least could be made a little quieter, after which one of the employees walked away in mock indignation while talking to her eye rolled. Not recommended if you don't like gossipy staff.

We ve been there last Saturday. For starters we ordered Plateau Weesperplein which we liked a lot and then Flat Iron steak and Braised veal. We found both delicious. I will definitely come again.

'Weesperplein' has such a lovely city garden! An oasis in the city. Add to that friendly service and a nice menu: absolutely great! We had lunch here: a focacia with baba ganush, goat cheese and pomegranate and a bao chicken Korean. Both very tasty!

Had high tea last Sunday. Very nice different snacks! Nice atmosphere and it was no problem that we arrived a little earlier than planned.

Ate at this café-restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere is really excellent. Beautiful interior and very relaxing, a gem in the center of An Weesp. However, the food is severely substandard. The "classic" burger looks more like a ball of minced meat. The bun was much too big in relation to the meat, the burger was very sparsely topped, had no "classic sauce" such as mustard and ketchup on it and had little taste. There was one lettuce leaf on it and the tomato was cut into large cubes instead of rings. It is clear that this restaurant does not know what a good burger is and how a classic burger works, but several Dutch restaurants have that. The price of 17.00 that is asked for this is really too much (heavily overpriced). The service was very nice but had to wait a few times. The ice for drinks was also taken from a container with the bare hand (unsanitary). We ordered first and yet four people who were seated half an hour after me were served their dishes first. About 50 minutes after ordering I finally got my burger and fries. The burgers were dry so I asked for extra ketchup and mayo. You had to pay extra for this (so the customer is not king). In short, a very nice tent but a shame about the food and the service is ok. If you want a burger, there are better burgers in Weesp.

We both ordered burgers, one vegetarian and one regular. Both burgers were bone dry, we asked for some mayo and ketchup (which we had to pay a lot for) to spread on them so we could chew them, so to speak. The regular burger was more like a ball sandwich because the meat was like a golf ball, round instead of flat. I don't think they fully understand the concept of a burger yet. Nice interior and friendly service.

Lunch. Food was great. They know how to make a sandwich. Asparagus soup well filled. Sweet potato fries very crispy.

Recently had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant with a relationship. Very nice atmosphere. Just imagine: 8 men at 1 table, all slightly annoying and irritating. The waiters really did their best to help us and were all calm and polite. We have been well looked after, thank you for that. Also for your patience. Hope to see you again!

Is a nice eatery in the center of Weesp.

Atmosphere is quite cozy Unfortunately, the screws come through the seats. Where the guests now have broken pieces of clothing. Asking for an empty saucer and fork is €2.50. Had I asked for 1 euro it would have been okay. Because a wedding cake was unexpectedly taken due to allergies. And already knowing that the cake from there contains traces of the allergy, it was therefore not an option to order a cake there.

Ideal for a family/group event.

Accessible restaurant, not too busy, excellent food quality, tasty Verdejo and service very attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended!

Fantastisch, heerlijk gerecht en mooi geserveerd. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, attent en zeer professioneel.

A lovely little Cafe/Diner. Nice menu and very helpful and friendly staff. Four of us enjoyed well prepared and presented food and enjoyed a little afternoon glass of wine. Such a nice place to sit in nice surroundings. Just a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Fijne plek, intieme tuin, prettige bediening, ruime keuze en goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding

Heerlijk buiten in de tuin gegeten. En vriendelijk personeel.

Goed eten, speciale wensen werd door de kok geregeld

Lunchplatter van warme en koude gerechtjes. Niet fantastisch. Prijs kwaliteit 32 euro voor 2 personen slecht. Aangevuld met veel brood maar voor 2 personen weinig beleg. Presentatie minimaal. Tomatensoep lauw.

Mosselen met Gorgonzola... Meer dan uitstekend! Verschillende voorgerechten op tafel, een dessert plankje vol verrassingen... Tja, met recht een onverwacht pareltje. Vooral ook de bijzonder gezellige binnenplaats is uniek.

Helaas maar 1 fles Champagne op voorraad. Locatie super gezellig met name 't buiten terras. De hapjes met zorg klaar gemaakt maar niet perse onderscheidend. Durf uit je comfort zone te stappen

Sehr lecker und kinderfreundlich

Gemoedelijke sfeer en lekkere lunch gegeten. Goed betaalbaar en fijne bediening. Er zat jammer genoeg op een gegeven moment wel iemand te roken op het buiten eetterras. Echt smerig als je zit te eten. Ik weet dat het buiten officieel mag, maar het zou fijner zijn dat ook op een buiten eetterras het roken word ontmoedigd! (Geen asbakken plaatsen, en op elke tafel een aankondiging voor de bezoekers). Dat roken moeten ze echt gewoon definitief uitbannen, niet alleen binnen maar ook op een eetterras.

Na een lange wandeling werden we hartelijk welkom geheten! We genoten van de asperges en de bediening was heel vriendelijk! Een aanrader.

Mooi ingericht restaurant, heerlijke lunch-gerechten met verse ingrediënten en vriendelijk personeel.

Voor het eerst gegeten met mijn gezin. Het interieur ziet er sfeervol uit daarom had ik ook meer van het eten verwacht. Wij bestelde als voorgerecht een tonijn carpaccio en nachos uit de oven. De tonijn carpaccio was flinterdun gesneden. En hierop lag een bord vol zure groenten en sla. Je kon niet meer proeven dat je vis aan het eten bent. Mijn tip: Less = More! De nachos waren redelijk. De crème fraiche was erg waterig wat wij zeker niet gewend zijn en helaas hebben ze naast guacamole, crème fraiche en salsasaus ervoor gekozen om ook nog chilisaus erover heen te doen. Hier weer Less = More Als hoofdgerecht hadden we de ribeye, kids spare ribs (inclusief een kinderijsje) en de eendenborstfilet van de voorgerechten. Hier was verder niets mis mee maar t was ook niet heel denderend. Ik denk dat hier nog veel winst te behalen valt in de toekomst met andere recepten.

We hebben geluncht met een hamburger. Erg lekker, maar € 17,- is niet in verhouding tot wat je krijgt. We waren met zn vieren, 7 frisdrank in totaal en allemaal een burger dan zit je aan €90,-

Heel sfeervol , leuk aangekleed binnen. Net of je ergens op een terrasje zit in het Middellandse-Zeegebied.

Food was OK but service poor. Warm drinks glasses still covered in soap bubbles. Did not receive all food asked for. Asked for water several times but not served.
