We had plenty of beers!! Our bartender was fun and knowledgeable of the beers he was serving!! Had a blast and left blasted !!

I made a reservation for a networking borrel for over 30 people, and our experience at Café Fest was excellent from start to finish. The service was attentive and friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was perfect for the type of event we were hosting. We really appreciated the flexibility of the staff throughout the planning and during the event itself. Our guests had a fantastic time and gave us very positive feedback. We will definitely choose Café Fest again for future events!!

twice in a row now, my friends and i are unjustly thrown out of the bar. two weeks ago, we spent a lot of time and money, and considering it’s a student bar, got treated badly in return. we got thrown out prematurely and told to leave or go inside, inside there’s no seats but that’s “not the waiters problem”. last night we had it even worse. the bar didn’t have glasses, my friend had to drink her beer out of a protein shaker cup because the waitress told her to deal with the glasses herself. the dutch group on the side of our table didn’t have any issues getting glasses. the whole night of 2/3 hours we spent with used and wet packets of cigarettes on the table which were never cleaned. in the end, at 21 we are once again told to leave the table, no explanation given, apparently there’s a reservation. the dutch group on the other side of the same table isn’t asked to leave. funny isn’t it. twice in a row, we get treated worse, service is worse, we get thrown out prematurely. it’s a student bar alright, but if you dare not be dutch be prepared to be thrown out.

Everywhere was closed, so this place was recommended, if we didn't mind it being a student place. But what a great find, food was very nice and great selection of drinks, and friendly staff

Encontramos este lugar accidentalmente estando no lejos de nuestro alojamiento. Hemos tenido encantadores desayunos y cenas, ya que seguimos regresando cada día de nuestras exploraciones alrededor de Amsterdam. El personal aquí es increíblemente amable y Nos encantó el ambiente aquí. Los precios de la comida y bebida aquí eran increíblemente razonable para un lugar caro como Amsterdam.

I haven't been there yet but I've heard good stories about it. I'll stop by soon because I can't pass up a cold beer like that. I hope ladies are as stingy as beer, just kidding ;)

Good young atmosphere, good service and delicious food

Cool university bar. Beer was cheap (2.5€) and it was bumping on a Tuesday. They don’t take cash wich is annoying but overall good experience

Prices for the beer were pretty good in comparison to the rest of amsterdam. Doesnt as much have a cozy feeling but overall nice staff and good location.

I ordered some loempia's. Staff was very rude. He spilled the sauce on the table and didn't even clean it up. He also didn't give me extra sauce. The Loempia's were dry like a dessert. I am never coming back to this place. The guy who was rude to me looked like mr bean

I really liked this place. I spent a couple of hours here working. I had a delicious sandwich and a couple beers. the staff and customers were all very friendly. great value for money. I recommended it to my daughter in Amsterdam and this has become a favorite of hers.

We had reserved the stage to celebrate Sinterklaas with a group of international students. Something had gone wrong in communication and standing tables had been reserved. Thijs deserves a ribbon for arranging the reservation. He had the stage set up in no time, arranged some containers of gingerbread nuts and even accepted the (potentially annoying) request that all students order and pay separately. I think this is a great service and the students have a wonderful memory of Christmas afternoon. Thank you Thijs and Fest!

Super fun and busy! 100% student affair, I am now far too old for the public. But it was certainly fun, having a drink with my son and his friends is always fun! And the nan behind the bar is great. One point of criticism: Grolsch beer is really not acceptable in this place. You are right between the first Heineken and Amstel breweries. Dan serving Twents beer is almost an insult...:-)

Excellent, kind and helpful service, nice selection of drinks and food, great-tasting burgers, quickly and tasty prepared, meat exactly medium. Pleasant vintage furnishings and seating as well as a clean and sunny garden outside. Affordable, we have no reservations. We would love to come again :)

At the end of May we were able to organize a very nice party at café Fest. It was a party for alumni of a student travel association in Amsterdam. I was part of the organization of the party and I would like to give great compliments to the staff. They were very pleasant, helpful and proactive. What I especially liked is that they really tried to relieve us as an organization, so that we could enjoy the party ourselves. I would recommend everyone to organize a party here, the staff thinks along very well and tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

Nice outdoor seating area and fair drink prices

We order 2 x apperol at €9.50/pc and a coffee via the QR code. It will take a while but it will be delivered. Someone then walks past and points to the sign next to us (we couldn't see): “Aperol for €6,” she says… I asked the waiter about this, who also thought it was very strange: “I'm going to ask.” ” and after he came back “yes, then you should have ordered it at the bar”… he looked as if he did not believe his own words. Conclusion: CAFE FEST AMSTEAM NEVER AGAIN! & then I don't even care about €7,- but this is really not possible!

Stumbled here en route to Brouwerij't IJ. Got some nachos, bitterballen and a couple beers, hung out with the locals and had a great time. Would recommend!

Came to watch football, but the TV wasn't allowed to be on.

Nice place, but an employee just went crazy because someone ate his sandwich (bought elsewhere) just too close to the terrace. A bit exaggerated…

Look, there isn't a better place to celebrate life from an age of 18 to 26+. We can discuss all about it but I think it's better to contemplate on life at Fest.

Discovery of this bar during a stroll. The atmosphere is nice. My only downside is that my glass of wine was served in a water glass... But maybe that's because I'm French... 😂

This place has the best chef in all of Amsterdam, he came back into the kitchen especially for us an hour and a half after the kitchen closed!!!

It was a great experience visiting this place. The server was very kind. I just stopped by for a refreshing beer during a long walk and it was refreshing indeed.

Wat een geweldige ontdekking was Cafe Fest in het hart van Amsterdam! Als je op zoek bent naar een plek waar plezier en gezelligheid samenkomen, dan is dit jouw place to be. Vanaf het eerste moment dat ik binnenkwam, voelde ik me meteen thuis. Het interieur is uitnodigend met zijn kleurrijke muurschilderingen en comfortabele zitplaatsen. Het voelt alsof je in de woonkamer van je beste vriend bent beland, die toevallig een fantastische barman is! Een goedgevulde koelkast met speciaalbier, Hangende Harries en La Choufes van de tap. Pitchers Kornuit en shotjes Salmari. Basis ingrediënten voor een leuke avond en spijt in de ochtend. Ook het eten is hier goed. En betaalbaar. Mijn persoonlijke favo's de Fest Frietjes en niet te vergeten The Return of The Kipsalon. Smullen. Een goede bodem is immers een cruciale voorbereiding voor een stevige borrel. Wat Cafe Fest speciaal maakt is de sfeer. Het is de ideale plek om samen te komen met vrienden of nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Een groot terras voor de warmere avonden, en een verwarmd gedeelte voor de koudere. Dus; als je op zoek bent naar een plek om te feesten en plezier te maken in Amsterdam, dan hoef je niet verder te zoeken dan Cafe Fest. Het is de perfecte plek om te genieten van lekker eten, geweldige drankjes en een sfeer die je de hele nacht wilt vasthouden. Trek je dansschoenen aan en kom naar Cafe Fest - het feest wacht op je! Gezellige sfeer, leuk gebouw en terras en veel opties.

Voor werk hier geweest als hondengeleider introductieweek 1e jaars 2023-2024. Gezellig en aardig personeel en ook super lekkere koffie nogmaals bedankt! Verder gezellig publiek voornamelijk studenten. Gezien de tijden heb ik daar niet gegeten en dus ook niet kunnen beoordelen. Bezoekje zeker aan te raden. Geopend van ma t/m vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag gesloten. Voor meer info kijk op hun site die via google te vinden is!

Lijkt mij een prima tentje om te vertoeven. Mooi weg van het drukke verkeer. Helaas was het gesloten op zondagmiddag. Er was door iemand anders hier met ons afgesproken als start van een vrijgezellenfeestje.

Een tijd terug, in april, kwamen wij hier met een groep van 40 personen, als uitje om onze vriendschap te vieren. De bediening was ontzettend fijn en snel, en het eten was erg goed verzorgd (2 gangen diner met brood en dips vooraf). Er was goed rekening gehouden met vega's en mensen met allergenen.

Wij hebben hier gedronken met een grote groep meiden en het was fantastisch geregeld ! Vriendelijk personeel en de communicatie verliep soepel! Buiten zit je op een heerlijk terras, maar binnen ziet het er ook sfeervol uit. Echt een aanrader !!

Als je lekker gezellig een avondje een simpele hap wil eten en wil drinken, maar niet de Amsterdamse prijzen wil betalen, moet je hier zijn. Doordat het vaak vol zit met studenten hangt er een relaxte en gezellige sfeer. Ook props voor het personeel, die zijn vriendelijk, maar niet formeel ofzo.

Cafeteria moderna, local acogedor. Muy amables y café muy ricos. Pasteles y postres muy buenos. El sitio es muy tranquilo. Con una pequeña terza, los camareros muy amables. Esta algo alejado del centro.

Huge variety of drinks, good food (the chicken bucket was amazing), nice environment. The only problem is that the staff is not so welcoming.

Really nice place with cheerful music. Many options to drink and eat. The atmosphere and the vibes were really good. We enjoyed also our dishes a lot. The prices of everything was super good for the Dutch standards and the quality that they offer. Totally recommend it of all aspects! The only problem is that one waitress was a little bit rude. Her attitude was so abrupt. The other waitress though was super lovely and kind, eager to help with everything.

Voor studenten, maar toch voor iedereen. De broodjes zijn prima en voor een mooie prijs. Aanrader!

Pretty nice cafe where you can drink some beer. They've got an inside and an outside area, however you're not allowed to bring your drinks outside. The beer is good and there is a toilet inside, so all bases are pretty much covered. Can recommend if you're looking for a place to grab a drink.

The service is a bit slow, but the drinks are very cheap and it has a wonderful atmosphere thanks to the vibrant student life.

Wat een geweldig café! Voor de suprise party voor mijn vrouw hier een feest gegeven. Er werd heel fijn meegedacht vanuit de organisatie. De avond verliep perfect. Heel vriendelijke en bekwaam personeel! Ik zou het zeker aanraden om hier een feest te houden!

Ik fietste laatst langs Fest en toen bedacht ik mij dat ik hier 5 jaar geleden om de stoep een keer een biertje heb gedronken. Volgens mij ben ik niet eens binnen geweest maar het bier was heerlijk.

Geweldig cafe. Sfeer en bier is goed. Eten is geweldig! 4 sterren omdat de menukaarten achterhaald zijn en er weinig service is aan tafel. Toilet is ook erg klein.

Erg gezellig Een leuk studenten cafe waar je prima kan genieten van eend drankje. In het weekend of op studenten avond zeker een aanrader te reserveren aangezien het dan erg druk is. Erg populaire tent dus en het zeker wel waard

Bonito y pequeño bar, totalmente accesible para sillas de ruedas, pero no el inodoro que se está utilizando actualmente como un armario de limpieza. Buen trabajo pude acceder al baño estándar en esta ocasión.

Op maandag avond voordat we naar een voorstelling van Carre gaan, lopen we zonder reservering naar binnen. Plekje gevonden en direct op een prettige manier geholpen. Drankje was er snel en onze maaltijd werd genoteerd. Het eten was zalig en een uurtje later stonden we voldaan op straat. Zelfs de prijzen zijn op studenten gericht. Hier komen we terug omdat het er gezellige drukte was op een maandag.

Café Fest is een prachtig café met een huiselijke ongedwongen sfeer waar je je al snel thuis voelt. Ik kom er graag, het kornuit bier is ook maar €2!

Een nieuw studentencafé op de Amstelcampus. Hier vloeit het bier per pitcher naar binnen. Laag geprijsd, maar ook veel (muziek?)lawaai.

Café Fest is heel mooi ingericht en je hebt het idee dat je in een huiskamer zit. Je kan er speciaal biertjes drinken een bio burgers eten. Natuurlijk zijn er ook gewoon kaasstengels en bitterballen. Tussen de middag nu twee keer geluncht en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Echt leuk om met je collega's, vrienden of studiegenoten wat te gaan drinken en eten.
