Great vibe and atmosphere. Great for special night and good for drinks

Het is fraai ingericht, maar het is niks. Binnen was het benauwd en krankzinnig lawaaiig, terwijl er niet eens veel gasten waren. De bediening is te vlot en dat is niet prettig, komt arrogant over. De gerechten zijn mager qua portie en erg duur. Best lekker, maar niet wat je mag verwachten voor die prijzen. Eenmaal weer buiten voelden wij ons opgelicht. Eens maar nooit weer. Je zit lekkerder bij een simpele pizzeria.

Pagaba 50 + euros por persona por la comida, pero recibía muy poco y platos pequeños, en su mayoría verduras y muy poca carne / pescado. Demasiado caro para lo que tenemos

The squid toast and oysters were delicious! The veg starter was way too spicy ! The cocktails were nice but I think the prices are too high for the what is served. The service was weird and waiters kept talking and giggling to each other. Then new waiters were asking the same question again and again disturbing us mid- conversation. Average experience and will not visit again.

Bijzonder restaurant buiten het toeristische gedeelte van het centrum. Lekker eten, maar kleine porties en eerlijk gezegd wel heel erg duur. De bediening is een beetje chaotisch maar erg attent en vlot. De Iberico varken was bijzonder met lekkere jus. Ijs was top, met niet overheersende kokos en precies zoet genoeg. Maar meer dan €30 voor een klein hoifdgerecht, €9 voor (heeeel lekkere aardappel stukjes) en meer dan €10 voor (lekker!!) voor warme stukjes brood met pittige saus gaat wel erg ver. Cocktails zagen er ook lekker uit, maar dan zit je ook zo op €14 per glas. We zaten hier om 19:00, het werd (gezellig, levendig) druk vanaf 20:15. Kortom: Bijzonder eten, ( ook de Asian noodles) maar bijna belachelijk duur.

Quite pricey and you have to pay for your water. As they call it water service.

La angustia estaba bien. El salmón aburrido. Esperábamos más. Los alrededores son agradables. El servicio es realmente pobre! Esperamos mucho tiempo para nuestras bebidas - y nos dieron el vino cuando habíamos terminado nuestra comida. Las chicas que servían no sabían nada de vino y no podían explicar los menús. Cuando el servicio es tan poco profesional los precios son demasiado altos.

It could be better if the waiters came at the table to serve and pay, there was a lot of people in the bar and a long queue to order

We booked a table weeks ago, confirmed 3 times, as requested (2 emails and one phone call the day before). When we arrived they told us no table was available and to look around if we could find anything. We were very surprised and had to deal with rude behavior from the management.

What's the point of having a reservation system to book a table just to have us refused ? They even send twice a mail asking if we are coming or not + calling us 1 time if we come Honestly unacceptable

We were very well welcomed by a very serviable host while the waitresses who took care of our table were very friendly and present. We had a great time

The worst customer experience EVER. Had a reservation for weeks only to arrive and face an ironic attitude of “you can sit wherever you find”. Never again. Also extremely RUDE.

We reserved a table weeks ago, they emailed up and called up to confirm the booking and we did. We arrived on time. They told us no table was available and to look around if we found anything. Very rude behaviour.

We ate a large and, above all, delicious nacho plate here and were fascinated by the super pleasant atmosphere of the staff with the customers and especially with each other :)

Charged me €23 while the bill was €11. I noticed after I paid (I checked bc the waiter didn’t show the amount on the machine) when confronted said it was an “accident” and quickly gave back the difference in cash. Felt very weird; like a scam. Used to be a great spot now only very limited “pop up menu” (didn’t know before we arrived) had to leave.

Just a good spot for dinner. Nothing special, but you won’t be disappointed. Fish is really good here. Looking for a good night, then this is the place.

Lovely place with a very hip ambiance, ambitious kitchen and attentive service. We shared the leeks, cote de boeuf, seasonal tartelette and butterflied dorade - and we really enjoyed every dish. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service. Went for the “market menu” and it was amazing. The service was very good a very charming, really loved the place. A bit fewer people there on a Saturday evening than expected though.

Impressive food with focus on charcoal grill Umami taste. We don’t eat meat but we’re happy with a few veggie options that were great! Composition, quality and presentation are a plus. Very nice location for dinner on your last night in Amsterdam or a special occasion. (Only inside seating though, few tables outside for an aperitivo max)

Fantastic food, excellent service. Recommend the tasting menu. We sat outside which was fine but expect some street noise.

Café Panache is a cool spot in Amsterdam’s Oud West. Awesome vibes, tasty dishes. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to. Definitely worth checking out!

We had dinner here last week and it was an experience we will never forget. And not in a positive sense. After endlessly waiting for our main course and asking if it would take long, we were met with a sneer that we were outside smoking. When the main course arrived, the ribeye looked like stir-fried chicken breast. After saying something about this, the answer was that “veal ribeye looks like this and that we should know more about meat. Isn't there also veal ribeye on the menu?!” The menu only says: ribeye. In the end, 1 was taken off the bill, but 2 of the 3 plates were taken. After the unfriendly treatment from the staff, we left without taking a bite. When paying, there were two unordered desserts at €24. When we left, a glass accidentally fell on the terrace. Normally I would say sorry and ask for a dustpan. Not here. When we returned home, our reservation via Formitable was canceled?

Hadn't been there for a long time, we were there from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday as the only one full, it will have more atmosphere, maybe it starts late or it was a very quiet evening. I wish them more guests as it is a very nice cafe restaurant and the food was good and presented with attention

Food was unreal!!! Compliments to the chef 🤪 market menu is a must. We had 2 margaritas but they were soooooo small. Staff were very friendly. Prices were a bit high but worth it. Thanks again for all of it.

We had a lovely evening and dinner at this place. I strongly recommend the market menue which was incredibly tasty. Service was good - but we needed to wait sometimes a bit long. Nevertheless this was also recognized by the service person and we got two free drinks -without even asking for- as a kind of apology.

I don’t get the complaining about the music as it creates a nice and intimate yet fun atmosphere. The cote de boeuf was delicious. Usually I don’t like medium rare but it was so well grilled that it was in balance. Green salad was well seasoned and crisp veggies and the fries even yummy cold down It’s pricey indeed but with this quality makes up for paying less and much less tasty dinner This place reminding me of New York. Beautiful bar and big mirrors…high ceiling. Note of critique: the black Japandi chairs are way too beautiful for this orange lamps and too bad the plants are nog real :(

The starter, main dish and sides were very tasty. Service staff was friendly and fast. The main concerns about the experience were the long time it took for the food to be served after ordered and the fact that it’s really loud in there. But overall a pleasant experience. The price follows Amsterdam standards for the quality you get.

Okay experience, nice food. If the service staff paid more attention to looking around at guests, we could have ordered more drinks and made more money for the business. Running from kitchen to tables without looking around to see what the guests need and chatting among themselves and looking at phones is a thorn in my side as a hospitality person.

The food and the staff are lovely - but the acoustics make the music and the people around you sound super loud! There were 3 of us and we could barely understand each other even being sat at a small table. ):

It's a great place for a date or just for a family dinner. Oysters was amazing! Food in general was very delicious. Nice range of wine! For sure, I'm coming back later.

We ordered ribeyes, some starters, and sides. The ribeyes was far below average, and everything was so overpriced considering the taste of the food. They even forgot the orders of the starters. The reception was also rude and awkward. Very disappointed.

The cafe looks great and the atmosphere is genuinely vibrant. Prices are too high and the service was rather slow. Also the music was a little too loud for during dinner.

The food and the atmosphere was great, however took a while to get an order in.. Extremely surprised that we were charged for bread when the water asked us if we wanted. Our table assumed it was “free” like other restaurants that place bread on the table. Very disappointed at that - feels very sneaky the way they did it… not a pleasant feeling.

Afgelopen weekend wederom heerlijk gegeten. Het nieuwe menu is echt super! We komen hier regelmatig en zijn nog nooit zonder voldaan gevoel huiswaarts gekeerd. Gezellige sfeer en het personeel is altijd even vriendelijk. Een aanrader dus!

Sinds lange tijd weer een heerlijke vrijdagavond bij Panache gedineerd. Heerlijk gegeten, het nieuwe menu is echt een aanrader! Komen zeker terug om de rest te proeven. Zouden eigenlijk nog naar een feestje gaan, maar zijn uiteindelijk lang bij Panache blijven borrelen. Wat een sfeer, dat zie je niet vaak in een restaurant. Ouderwets gezellig.

Prachtig ingerichte horeca zaak, alles is tot in de pintjes verzorgd. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en professioneel. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en komen zeker nog eens terug!

Went there for dinner and ordered the risotto. I’m not joking there were at most 3 spoons of rice with 5 minuscule baby prawns. This was considered and priced as a main dish! Service was rushed and forgetful we needed to wait 45 min for our table even having a reservation. On top of this the music was so loud that you needed to scream at your diner date in order to understand eachother.

Leuke plek om drankjes te drinken. Sfeer was gezellig en af en toe intiem.

Amazing meal! We had a group of 20 people for a birthday dinner so called in advance and got a family style meal for €50 per person. So many options and everything was fantastic! For starters, we had beef tartar, burrata salad, and sea bass crudo, and for mains we had steak, grilled sea bass, zucchini, salad, and fries. Highly recommend the steak and the sea bass but everything was cooked perfectly. The service was prompt and everyone was super friendly. Will be back!

We always bring our guests here, food is never disappointing neither are drinks! Really worth your money, delicious! Sometimes its a bit overcrowded... but kinda forgiven with every first bite of your food :)

The location is stylish, the service is very good and friendly, but the food is (only) ok and nothing more. The kitchen simply does not fulfill its own ambition and the food is completely overpriced. The dishes looked great, but one was way too salty, another was basically tasteless beyond the strong garlic sauce and the third dish was only lukewarm.

Wir waren gestern im Café Panache. Wir haben fantastisch gegessen und getrunken. Sehr sehr lecker. Wir haben 3 Wochen vorher reserviert für unser Wochenende in Amsterdam. An der Türe, wo man seinen Platz zugewiesen bekommen sollte, standen vor uns Niederländer, die sofort durchgewunken und an ihren Platz gebracht wurden. Uns wollte die Dame einen Platz an einem Hochtisch, am Eingang zwischen Küche und Toilette geben. „i have just this table available“ - wir haben uns geweigert, da wir ja schon vor 3 Wochen reserviert haben. Als sie nochmal „geschaut“ hat - hatten wir einen anderen Tisch. Sie hat uns sehr arrogant und abfällig behandelt. Das Lokal war auch den ganzen Abend nicht voll. Diesen Tisch hätte es immer gegeben. Leider hatten wir den Eindruck, dass es daran lag, dass wir Touristen aus Deutschland waren. Den restlichen Abend wurden wir sehr sehr nett bedient. Als wir gingen, war die anfängliche Dame dann auch nett, nachdem wir für 300 Euro konsumiert haben. Es macht einen einen fahlen Beigeschmack, dem wir auf anderen Reisen bisher nicht begegnet sind. Dies war leider nicht das erste „touristenfeindliche“ Erlebnis, das wir an diesem Tag hatten. Wir verstehen, dass es viel ist, mit den Touristen, aber gerade die Gastronomie leidet sicher nicht darunter:

We hebben daar afgelopen vrijdag gegeten en om met het positieve te beginnen, het is een mooie zaak en de sfeer is goed. Met de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is wel echt iets mis, ik had een T-bone steak van 45 euro en die was enigszins droog. Daarnaast krijg je dan voor die 45 euro alleen maar een steak op een verder leeg bord en moet je eventuele sides nog apart bij bestellen. Al met al was het een aardig duur etentje voor kwaliteit wat middelmatig was. Helaas was dit niet het ergste, want voordat we überhaupt een dessert of koffie konden bestellen werd de rekening (bedekt door wat snoepjes) op onze tafel geschoven met de mededeling dat we weg moesten, omdat onze tafel vrijgemaakt moest worden voor nieuwe gasten. Kijkend naar het feit dat we ongeveer 100 euro per persoon moesten betalen vind ik dat wel echt bizar en een slechte manier om met je gasten om te gaan. Voor ons in ieder geval de laatste keer daar.

Very good restaurant: nice atmosphere, good dining and good quality of the food. Wine list is also ok. Service can be definitely improved and prices are too high for what you get. Generally a positive experience though

Heerlijk gegeten op een dinsdagavond. We hadden een menu met diverse voorgerechtjes, twee hoofdgerechten en een dessert. Steak tartaar was echt heel goed, overige voorgerechten ook. De verdejo en tempranillo zijn prima huiswijnen. Bediening was prima, prijzen zijn een beetje aan de hoge kant, maar waar is dat niet tegenwoordig!

Leuke ruimte om een privé feestje te geven. Goed verzorgd en goede service.

Terrible. They gave us fruits de mer full with the carbon of the barbacoa. I still cannot eat anything. We did not see it at the begging but the sauce was completely black. We did mention and than the manager say: "ow ja I did see that it was not ok but you were eating so good"....

Gisteravond hier voor mijn verjaardag wezen eten! Van begin tot eind een fantastische ervaring. Het personeel was super gezellig en vooral Marnix heeft onze avond gemaakt. We hadden allemaal een voor en hoofdgerecht en iedereen heeft heerlijk gegeten. Vooral de beef tartare en de eend waren buitengewoon goed! Dankjewel team Panache voor een onvergetelijke avond, wij komen zeker terug :)

Another place with super friendly staff, an energizing vibe, solid wine, and great food in Amsterdam. You can split the cote de beouf, the burrata, the fries, and the orange chicken, with creme brûlée. Also everyone here - staff, patrons - was insanely, intimidatingly good looking.
