Cantina - het Rijk van de Keizer in Eendracht

Enchanting place! And a delicious lunch!

Wie schon von anderen erwähnt ist der Ort sehr schön. Wir hatten uns zum Chefs Dinner angemeldet. Das Setting ist wunderbar, mit einem Empfangsdrink und danach sitzt man mit allen an einer langen Tafel in einem tollen Raum. Der Service war wunderbar. Leider fand ich das Essen enttäuschend. Die Vorspeise mit einem Sonnenblumen Risotto war lecker, der Hauptgang und das Dessert eher mau. Der Fisch roch und schmeckte sehr fischig und war sehr salzig. Als Beilage gab es gebackenes Gemüse. Als Dessert gab es gekochte Pflaumen, Pudding und einen Kuchen. Um es stimmig zu machen, hätte ich beim Essen geschmacklich einfach mehr Raffinesse erwartet. Da passt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis meiner Meinung nach nicht.

beautiful unique place but drinks are not very good

We had reserved the “bubbly brunch” for six people. When we arrived we got the idea that the reservation was not known. Two oat cappuccinos that were very sour and clearly not good, then luckily we got new ones that were tasty. First jug of mimosa seemed to be made of orangina, then with fresh juice. Soup was tasty, but when serving it was not told what kind of soup you were getting. Salad was tasty, then had to wait a very long time for the sandwiches, which were fine. Then the waitress comes that the bubbly brunch was basically ready (while we had to wait a very long time and we still had to get the sweet desserts). Desserts were disappointing. It is a beautiful place with a lot of potential, but we expected more and that especially from the service (it was also super quiet, so everything could have been a bit faster).

Super nice place to have a drink. In our case during the bike ride from Amsterdam to Haarlem. Very nice girls in the service and cozy atmosphere.

The food was delicious, but there could have been a bit more of it. After the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, it was an oasis of relaxation.

Tomato soup with bread is really good here.

The best place in all of Amsterdam. It only starts outside the ring. Really my little paradise when I have roller skated and here you can sit and enjoy the nature and the singing followers around you

Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful place, peace and quiet

Absolutely magical place kinda in the middle of nowhere. It is really hidden tucked on bushes/trees/small ditch. On one side you have this lush vegetation, on the other side you have cheerful colorful tables and staircase seats. This place just feels out of this world, like a weird little secret garden of joy.

This was one of the most interesting places we have visited in Amsterdam, a true hidden gem. The atmosphere is truly amazing, feels like you are completely outside of the city. The food is not impressive, but still a great place to enjoy the nature and quiet.

What a nice "hidden" spot. Found by chance via Maps and when the weather is nice it is a wonderful place to stay. Many places in the sun but also in the shade. All different levels, different types of chairs, different colors, very cozy. You can order at the bar, for lunch you can choose from 3 toasted sandwiches and 2 sandwiches. Also some snacks and cake, see photo for the menu. The Caprese sandwich was tasty and large! To get to the cantina, you drive onto the site through the gate, on the left you can park your car, on the right you can walk or cycle, at the fork you turn left and walk into the cantina. The outdoor area is at the back. The indoor and covered area can also be rented for weddings and parties, for example. The toilet for the cantina is a bit special in the green caravan. Staff was friendly but a bit chaotic in terms of handing out food. It was nice that food and drinks could be charged.

Unfortunate visit to say the least. Staff was completely overwhelmed as they seemed very inexperienced, menu expensive, nacho chips were stale and cold, cocktails were €12,50 (!) and came with the softest pour I’ve ever tasted. Literally less than half a shot. After voicing our unhappiness the 2nd time, one of the servers was willing to come bring extra shots of vodka for the cocktails which I appreciate, but the whole combination of incredibly long wait times, expensive mock tails and cold nachos making our group nearly go full karen wasn’t exactly what I had in mind for a relaxing lunch.

This place is so nice, a real wonderland!

Before corona we always liked to come to the Cantina. We were here in September 2022 and it was very disappointing. Had to order and pick up your own food and from the limited menu a number of things were already "finished". The fact that you are no longer being served may be due to a shortage of staff, but I think that is a shame. The old cheese sandwich is no longer what it used to be. Very scanty. We won't be coming here any time soon. Too bad because we really liked coming here.

Great coffee, great location, expensive menu. Also the staff could show a bit more enthusiasm.

I love this place - it's got this hole outdoorsy, organic, sustainability air over it and the whole experience of being here is just awesome

Fijne plek, relaxte sfeer, vriendelijk personeel! Hier ga ik zeker vaker terugkomen! :-)

A little way West I found this absolute gem. The location is wonderful, not too far to go but far enough to be away from all the noise of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the menu items. The food was good and not expensive, but these aren't the reason for the 5 star review. I hesitate to make this review because I feel like I've discovered a secret, and I want to keep it for myself... The overall vibe I got from the place is almost magical, with lanterns hanging from the trees above the natural forest path and a car being reclaimed by mother nature. We sat back relining on giant bean bag seats among the trees looking out across a field with dragonflies darting around over the (I don't know the right name) sloot/canal/gracht. Although we were there all afternoon and into the evening we were never bothered by the staff, after our initial order nobody came unless we indicated. This place is very nice and I hope it stays so pure. Thank you for having me

Zeer klantonvriendelijk om te weigeren een rekening te splitsen zodat ieder zijn eigen deel kan betalen. Dat de manager dan ook nog tegen je staat te schreeuwen maakt het helemaal onacceptabel.

Maar het management is absoluut niet klantvriendelijk. Het bedrag van onze lunch kon niet gesplitst worden, hier wordt zelfs door de manager ruzie over gemaakt!! Deze schreeuwde zelfs tegen de oudste dame van onze groep! De klant is hier absoluut geen koning! We zijn met een heel naar gevoel weggegaan! Zo behandel je klanten niet en met name ouderen niet!

Cute place. Atmosphere is great. Staff very friendly. Food portions are small and pretty basic. (We had the quiche and pita with Portobello.) But nice place for a drink.

お洒落な雰囲気を重視しているカフェ。郊外なので車必須だから不便ですけど雰囲気が非常に良いです(^^) 味は特別美味しいとは思わないけど、雰囲気が非常に良いので美味しく感じます。キャンプで食べるカレーがめちゃくちゃ美味しく感じるのと同じ理論ですね

Voordat Covid-19 bestond ben ik daar op geweest . T geheel voelde sprookjesachtig en zo sfeervol aan. Wat zijn de mensen super relaxt. Genoten van de lunch. Heerlijke plek groen met snufjes moderne tactiek .

Die recht kleine Karte lässt darauf schließen, dass alles frisch zubereitet wird. Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet - nur Salzliebhaber müssten eventuell nachwürzen. Das kleine Restaurant ist im Freien angesiedelt entlang eines kleinen Wasserlaufs, der mit Schilf bewachsen für genügend Abstand zu den vorbeifahrenden Radfahrern und Fußgängern sorgt. Allgemein ist die Location gemütlich und privat. Man kann sich zu zweit in den mit Holz befestigten Hang setzen, auf gemütlichen Polstern und auf die gegenüber liegenden Felder blicken. Oder aber auch an einem großen Tisch Platz nehmen und verdeckt vom Schilf in Ruhe essen. Wer mit dem Rad auf dem Weg nach Amsterdam hier vorbei kommt, findet einen leckeren und gesunden Snack, wird freundlich bedient und genießt die tolle Landschaft. Gezahlt werden konnte allerdings ausschließlich mit Karte.

Erg leuke plek voor een lunch / high tea. Heel veel ruimte, leuk ingericht. Personeel erg vriendelijk.

Een verstopt pareltje in de stad! Op onze fietstocht naar het strand kwamen wij voorbij Cantina. Wat een prachtige plek om te zitten en te genieten van een drankje en een hapje!

Bij aankomst overvalt je de rust en gemoedelijke sfeer, door de aankleding, de super vriendelijke medewerkers, het overheerlijke broodje en het magistrale uitzicht en entourage...voor mijn dochter en ik de eerste, en nog lang niet de laatste keer Cantina, top!!

Nadat ik voor Cantina met mijn scooter op de grond belandde ben ik super goed geholpen door 2 meiden die hier werken! Ze hebben eerste hulp verleent en gezorgd dat alles weer goed ging met mij! Super fijn dat deze meiden mij even hielpen! Door hun ben ik weer veilig thuis!

Echt super gezellige sfeer - een plek waar je echt uuren kan zitten en genieten. Hier wil ik altijd gaan als de weer mooi is en ik een namiddag vrij heb.

What a surprise to come across this place on our cycle trip. Right out of Amsterdam but still in the middle of everywhere. The vegan options on the card made us even more happy. Unfortunately not all vegan options were available. Also the cappuccinos were like lattes. But still nice style and atmosphere. Cool place to relax.

Bijzondere plek. Borrelplankje was heerlijk , ruime portie. Koffie was lauw. gebruik gewoon een goede voorverwarmde kop i.p.v. een glaasje. Duurde erg lang voor de borrelplank kwam. Men was vriendelijk maar het personeel was niet erg op dreef. Maakte veel fouten. Mis bitterballen op de kaart.

Wat is café Cantina een heerlijke café voor bezinning. Een plek om te zijn. Kreeg er veel inspiratie zo tussen het groen en de gezelligheid.

Heerlijke plek om te ontspannen, voor koffie en lunch! Aanrader!!
