What poor service. Same story with George WPA. Food is good, but service is slow and arrogant.

Very good location, quiet and very comfortable place. Normal prices and very good food. Excellent attention.

We came to drink coffee and were asked whether we wanted to eat or drink coffee, we said coffee and sat at the place shown to us. Even though we reminded them twice, they never paid attention to us. When we got up and left, the woman immediately took our menus from the table and went back inside. I guess we were not served because we looked young.

It's a strong cafe. It's in good standing with most international brands. I recommend it. I ordered an Americano and it was strong

Really good food. Love the variety. Breakfast, brunch and lunch options. I had the eggs Florentine. It was very good. Decor and atmosphere, ligh, airy and modern. Service was good. Our server was friendly. Food quality was good. Also good portions. A tiny bit more expensive than a usual place but good standards were met.

Had a great experience with Georgette. I have already eaten at several George's, but the staff here were very friendly and a very pleasant manager who treats his staff well!

Stopped in for breakfast. Had the eggs benny with a chai latte. Delicious, and service was quick and straightforward. Will certainly be back. I’m convinced the bad reviews are left by entitled rich people expecting fine dining and to be worshipped.

The food is absolutely horrible and I end it up finding hair in my food while I was on vacation in June and they ended up charging me for it !!!!!!! Worst place to eat and the service is horrible

We were wandering around our hotel on a Monday morning at 9 am looking for a place for breakfast before our flight home and had the great luck to stumble across Georgette. Delicious food, attentive service, and beautiful location—perfect for people watching. Will definitely be back when in Amsterdam next!

So quiet cafe i came here on Sunday. Amazing service. The staff is so kind. Perfect quality of food. I tried the eggs Florentine. It was so delicious.

Staff was rude. The food lacked seasoning. The coffee was not good and we asked for a new one, since They burned it. He said it was weird that we complained and almost smashed the new coffe and the table after making a new one. Didnt Even say Thanks after we payed.

We zijn er al verschillende keren geweest omdat er nou eenmaal niet veel zit in de PC gaan we dan snel even wat drinken maar het is er altijd vies. Smerige tafels, vieze vloer, trap naar de wc vol stof en viezigheid. Tafeltjes buiten zien er leuk uit maar stoelen zitten voor geen meter. Half uur op een tosti moeten wachten. Maar ach waarom zouden ze hun best doen. Toeristen trappen er toch wel in.

Service was pleasant. However, the food needs to be reevaluated, especially based on the price. The food is not worth the cost and significantly better options can be found. I would avoid ordering anything, aside from a coffee.

It was busy and I was alone. Didn't get a nice seat at the bar. Within 5 minutes I spontaneously got a table. Very friendly and service minded staff. And food is great!!!

Nice coffee shop with king and friendly staff. The caffe pretty delicious. Can sit inside and outside too: inside really nice the atmosphere. With the mirrors looks bigger the spaces. Have kitchen too.

A pocos pasos del Rijksmuseum, este es el lugar perfecto para un almuerzo tardío. Nota: Café Georgette solo abre para el desayuno y el almuerzo. Almuerzo hasta las 5 . He estado en algunas calles comerciales de lujo en todo el mundo, pero PC Hooftstraat puede que los supere a todos y Café Georgette está en medio de todos. Esto explica que las fashionistas almuercen con vino o tomen un capuchino para llevar. A pesar del desfile de moda el personal era tan amable y eficiente. Teníamos un stand donde podíamos interactuar con el gerente que nos mantuvo sonriendo durante todo el tiempo. No hay café para nosotros, pero una excelente carta de vinos hizo que el maridaje con nuestras enormes ensaladas - Cobb y Nicoise - sea simple a precios modestos. Comer al aire libre es una opción para más gente que mira. “George” está impreso en casi todo en el café.

Beautiful little cafe on a quiet row of designer stores with amazing breakfast and service. We have come twice and both experiences were lovely.

First of all, I ordered Cobb Salad and they brought out two dispensers that appeared to be vinegar and olive oil since that is what is normally served with salad. I added it to my salad with no second thought and it tasted like artificial lemon !! Turns out one of the bottles was concentrated artificial lemon juice !! Add a more sophisticated label please !! On the other hand, my friend ordered an açai bowl and they brought out a smoothie in a bowl !! No açai flavour at all, only berries !! What a scam.

We came here for brunch. We split the Eggs Benedict and American Pancakes. The food was delicious, especially the Eggs Benedict! However, the portions of both were small for what you get for the price. This place is a little pricey.

Helaas niet lekker gelunched. Gepocheerde eieren waren niet goed. En een week broodje met slechte kip. Jammer de sfeer en inrichting is wel heel gezellig. Aardig personeel.

Recommended place for breakfast if you are visiting the boutiques in this area. Staff if polite and respectful. Instagram worthy. Expect to spend around €80 for 3 pax (worth it if you ask me)

Located in the middle of a shopping street filled with luxury boutiques, Cafe Georgette fits in perfectly, with prices that are surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the location. The decor is pleasant and is no doubt a great place for a couple to have brunch, or take a coffee break from visiting the boutiques surrounding it. I walked in to have breakfast around 11am on a Monday, and it filled up quickly at around 11.30am. Promptly seated, the service was prompt and pleasant. Ordered the Eggs Benedict and a cappuccino. The Eggs benedict was nicely done. Plating was pleasing. The hollandaise sauce was flavourful albeit a tad salty. The poached eggs was done perfectly but I wish either the hollandaise was toned down a little, or the eggs used could have been of a more flavourful variety. The ham was a bit of a let-down, too thin-cut and lacked presence. However, overall the dish is alright. The cappuccino was OK, but wish the beans had a little more oomph. Overall, I give the cafe 5 stars. If the food was improved a bit it would be great.

One of my favorite place in Amsterdam for having breakfast with my clients or finish some work on my laptop while sipping a cappucino. Best spot, close to shopping stores and always a good place to meet people from all around the world in this very nice area. Also all the staff and super nice and the food just perfect!

Hier na bezoek aan Rijksmuseum even langs gegaan. Mooi Frans interieur met bijbehorende metro tegeltjes. Eten was aan de prijs, maar dat is te verwachten op deze locatie. Kwalitatief overigens goed, hoeveelheid matig. Personeel is een verhaal apart. Komt zeer gestressed over. Buurtafeltje had veel moeite om iets te bestellen wat niet op de kaart stond. Onenigheid tussen keuken en bediening wordt op de werkvloer uitgevochten. Bij vertrek werd geen gedag gezegd. Instagrammen was blijkbaar belangrijker. Achteraf spijt van de gegeven fooi.

Eten was prima, brood was wel heel erg hard en taai. Service was zeer matig, lang op het eten moeten wachten en bediening was niet vriendelijk. Nadat ik had afgerekend en me omdraaide (geen fooi gegeven door de wachttijd etc.) hoorde ik de ene medewerker tegen de ander zeggen: ‘ik wil hier een Tip Jar neerzetten want die mensen in de PC geven ook nooit wat.’ Ik vond dit heel raar en het ontmoedigd me om hier terug te komen.

The place has a nice ambience but the quality of the food itself makes it not worth the price. Or perhaps it's just the way the "Eggs Georgette" dish was made for me that day. It was too dry and tepid for a breakfast dish like that. The texture was unappealing to the palette. On top of that, because the eggs are cooked into a thin-tortilla-like form factor, the dish would have been better served in a plate instead of a half bowl. The two thick slices of brown bread that did not do much to help the eggs in a supporting role.

This place has a pulse. Fk’n love it. Creative dishes that are NOT clueless but inspire. I had to take away a second coffee after my meal because it was great. Walk up, exists, and enjoy!

Lokal mieści się na przy ulicy z najbardziej luksusowymi butikami. Pomimo tego ceny nie były wygórowane. Zamierzaliśmy wypić tylko kawę, ale ostatecznie skusiliśmy się na zupy. Zamówiliśmy: Tomato soup - bardzo dobra, aromatyczna, gęsta, z pieczonymi pomidorkami w środku. Oceniamy na 5 Golden chicken boulion - bardzo dobra, aromatyczna, że sporą ilością mięsa. I came here for breakfast with my mom. It didn't seem busy and we got seated quickly. The food looked and was delicious. My only complaint is that I ordered iced coffee, and it came with sugar cubes. I like sugar in my coffee but these just don't dissolve like they do in hot coffee, just a mild inconvenience.
