Food was terrible was a lot for a disgusting food. The steak Philly looked like rot meat. It tasted only like grease on a bread. The look and the taste was just terrible. The club sandwich was just a sandwich with a full of sauce Even the croissant was just grease I wouldn't eat here ever again

The food was mid and overpriced for what you get.

Took them years to serve and then you had to wait so long for the food that wasn’t even worth the price. It was yummy but I expected more.

I ordered a Mexico City breakfast. I also paid 4€ extra for chorizo. They were 5 slices of Albert Heijn chorizo sliced as thin as a paper. Guacamole was not home made. You could feel the plastic taste which it came from. Two sunny side up eggs were not runny and they were on an Albert Heijn tortilla folded into two and there were barely some yellow cheese in between... For almost a 20€ plate, it was not original and tasty at all. I dont recommend this (i dont know the others, I think it is a chain) Breakfast Club.

I had a very peculiar experience today. I’ve been coming here for a long time and have always been satisfied. But today wasn't okay! First of all, we had to wait half an hour before we could place an order. When ordering, I indicated that I wanted well-done eggs due to my pregnancy. After 15 minutes, we finally got the drinks. Then, 20 minutes later, the food arrived without well-done eggs. I pointed this out, and they said they would be put back on the griddle for a bit. Once back, they were still not cooked through. I told someone else again that I couldn't eat them because of my pregnancy. Well, that started with a sarcastic remark and that she didn't know what to do with the eggs. Then I indicated again that I couldn't eat them. Well, then, with a grumpy attitude, she grabbed the plate and walked away with the food. Subsequently, the girls who were so busy started gossiping very loudly about me behind the bar. I have never felt so uncomfortable. If you don't feel like it, fine, but go work somewhere else. Never again for me!

Ordered a caramel latte... they didnt have caramel. Ordered the breakfast club sandwich... they didnt have it (never told us what they were missing). Ended up ordering the California Benedict. The eggs were poached so badly they were softboiled. Recieved a rather insincere "sorry" from the only server working - good thing we arrived before the rush. Wife's croissant egg sandwich was fine, nothing special but at least it was done right. Thankfully, this was one of the very few negative experiences on our 2-week trip.

Went there two times and two times I received the same service and the food was good, last time I got the eggs benedict and I really enjoyed it. I went there on my own too, and that was not a problem.

The food is good but the service is terrible. 35 min waiting for drinks, 55 min waiting for food. No cutlery when food eventually arrived.

The Breakfast Club has delicious French toast, but the cream isn't great. Prices are high and it can get very crowded, but it's still worth a try if you're in the mood for breakfast.

Disappointing first time, we had to wait over 30mn to be served lukewarm omelette and scrambled eggs, even overcooked in oil. The water glasses were dirty, we asked twice to change them and still dirty as if they hadn’t been washed.

Don't set your expectations too high. It's a good option for a quick snack or breakfast. Don't expect anything extraordinary. The products are decent. If you're looking for breakfast-style snacks in this area, you can consider this place.

We ordered eggs Benedict Seaside and a New York breakfast, both were delicious, especially the New York, which offered excellent value for money. The service was good, fast, and the coffee was very tasty. We would definitely order again.

Great food! It's a bit small. Parking is tricky. The spicy fries weren't that spicy, though. That was a shame. They should have added seasoned fries to the menu.

Waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken to be told food would take 40 minutes “because we’re busy” said the guy playing video games on his phone since we arrived. I hate to be that complaining American but why seat us for 30 minutes if you can’t serve us.

The Breakfast Club is my go-to spot on the weekends. I love treating myself to a proper breakfast — either the blueberry pancake or the eggs Benedict (I highly recommend both!). What makes this place special is the atmosphere. It’s almost always full, both indoors and outdoors (depending on the weather), yet you can still comfortably have a conversation with your +1 or group. Most of the time, I actually come here alone, and it still feels just right. Beyond the delicious food, the staff truly stand out. They already know me and what I’m going to order — that level of service is rare. Mariia and the rest of the team are amazing. Highly recommended!

Disappointing experience at The Breakfast Club (Wibautstraat). We waited 45 minutes for our food, while a couple who arrived 7 minutes after us were served and even left before we got our meals. Service wasn’t friendly and no explanation was given. Food was okay but slightly cold and overpriced for what we had (Eggs Benedict California, avocado toast, matcha, cappuccino). Payment was very fast, but no goodbye at all. Overall, not worth the wait.

Coffee was actually very good! But we’re told we have to wait 40 mins to order food and then told we can’t order food. When we finally could order a basic change to the London Breakfast to substitute to brown toast wasn’t even possible. Basic customer service standards are lacking. Personally I would avoid this one until the service improves!

Really disappointing experience. We placed two very simple orders and waited close to an hour for our food, which arrived cold. Throughout the wait, there were several occasions where we wanted to order more drinks, but the wait staff were inattentive and often standing around talking. By the time our food arrived, we were rushed to leave as we hadn’t anticipated being there so long and had other commitments. When paying and asked how everything was, we explained that the wait had been very long and that while the food was tasty, it was cold. The only response we received was, “It was less than 20 minutes - that’s standard,” which was incorrect. We arrived at 11:30am, ordered shortly after, and left at 12:30pm after quickly eating. The lack of accountability and dismissive response from staff was frustrating. It seemed likely our food had been sitting ready for some time while staff were chatting. Unfortunately, we won’t be in a rush to return.

The food is very tasty and looks great, it didn't take long to be served, the staff are very friendly, and we also loved the decor. Our only suggestion is to add the Amsterdam breakfast to the City Breakfasts section! Cheers!

Of all the locations I have been to, this one oa the most cramped. Additionally when I went in today I waited over 20 munutes, watching parties who came in after me get their orser token. I had to flag down a server. After I ordered ahe told me it would take close to 30 minutes to get my food because they were short ataffed. They weren't too shoet staffed to serve people qho came in after me. I ended up cancellung my order and leaving.

Not sure why the rating isn’t higher, we enjoyed our breakfast here. The chicken and waffles was sooo delicious, all of the components came together so well, a hint of maple syrup with a little spice too mmm. My bf really liked the London breakfast he kept talking about the delicious mushrooms all day. Tasty chai too. It has a nice atmosphere with several big windows to sit by or just look out of. Service wasn’t fast but it wasn’t slow either, we weren’t in a hurry and it was worth it.

Very long to be served and get food out, along with trying to pay so we can leave. Pancakes were okay, whereas the London breakfast was better. I’d say it’s quite expensive for what it is, they had an option to pay €2 euro extra for hp sauce?

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews here. In our five days in Amsterdam, this was our best restaurant experience. The service, food, and price were all in perfect proportion!

Terrible customer service and racist. We were told there’s no table for 3 (my husband, myself and our 2 years old). How is that possible??. We told them to still give us the table for 2 since our toddler will be in her stroller. The waitress then said we should put out stroller down and she’s going to get us a a baby chair. Why then refuse us entry if you knew you had a baby chair. Service was also terrible.

A superb discovery and quality service 👌🏻 We came on a Wednesday morning, without a reservation, and had a great meal: the tuna focaccia was incredible and the carrot cake was delicious. The prices are a bit expensive, but that's typical of Amsterdam, I think. We'll be back with pleasure!

The food was good, but the club sandwich was very dry. Lots of meat, bread, and overall just not "fresh" enough. A slice of tomato and two more lettuce leaves would definitely have given this place 4 stars. The service is really okay, but not particularly outstanding. All in all, more 3 than 4 stars.

Absolute garbage. €10 for a dry slice of bread, two slices of ham, and scrambled eggs that tasted like nothing. They forgot the bacon, and they only give you butter if you ask.

The Breakfast Club was about 10 min walk from our hotel in Amsterdam, which had indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast was delicious! The French Toast with Fruits was superb! The Croissant with butter and jam was great to start the day. Service was fast and friendly.

Good atmosphere but the waitress, a freckly girl with dark hair was un emotive and rather cold. She was very unnatentive, didn't give us cutlery or ask us how our food was. On the matter of food, I had the chicken waffle. I was very disappointed to see that neither the waffle or the chicken was home made, and neither tasted fresh. The only fresh thing on that plate was the cucumber. It was un seasoned, dry and flavourless, which for a dish drowned in Stracha is a hard thing to do. My sister had the Mexico city breakfast which she described as the worst breakfast shes ever eaten. Coffee was small and uninspiring and tasted like dirty water. They wouldn't even let us split the bill, and charged us for sauces. Overall a very poor experience, wouldn't recommend if you want to pay for food that is worth your money. Please train your waitresses in proper service etiquette, they didn't even smile at us.

We stopped by for breakfast spontaneously and got a seat without any problems. (Larger groups should make reservations, however.) The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The prices are perfectly reasonable for a big city. We enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast.

We came here spontaneously and found a seat right away. We received a friendly welcome and were served promptly. The place is clean and inviting. There's a good selection of food and drinks. Our hotel recommended this place and frankly I don't know why. Service was pretty slow, but very friendly, from sitting down to being served it took around 30 minutes. The food was not good, basically unseasoned, and the driest Omelette I've ever eaten. The outside seating is nice!

A nice coffee shop with plenty of space inside and out. The coffee is good, the food is okay, but the service could be faster. They're nice, but walking back empty-handed when several tables are full isn't practical. It means extra walking, which means they're always behind.

Been here twice now for breakfast and it’s been lovely both times. The drinks are spot on, pancakes were really tasty, and the bread they use is proper decent – fresh and full of flavour. Staff are sound too – friendly without being over the top. Just a nice, chilled place to start your day. Would definitely go back.

I never eat breakfast, but on the advice of someone who'd been there before, I "sacrificed" myself. I must admit, the sacrifice wasn't in vain. Good, generous dishes, and a reasonable price/quality ratio for Amsterdam. Friendly staff, clean environment.

The Breakfast Club is a chill spot for brunch anytime. The vibe is relaxed and casual, not too crowded even on weekends. I love their fluffy pancakes perfectly soft and topped with fresh fruit. The huevos rancheros is also tasty, with a nice kick from the jalapeños. Their breakfast burger is a bit of a treat, loaded with all the good stuff. They’ve got options for vegans and vegetarians too, which is cool. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but the food is worth the wait. A solid spot to kick off the day.
